Fantastic experience: I needed to move from my dentist because of insurance coverage. I looked through different offices based on location and (to be honest) the age of the dentist. I don’t want to have to go through another one retiring. This office was pretty booked up but they were anbke to put me on a waiting list annd we’re eventually able to give me a call and put me into a cancelled appointment right away. I really appreciated the extra effort. I was met at the desk by a friendly efficient woman who had already taken care of my insurance information. I got right in to my initial cleaning and evaluation with Ashley(?). (I really hope I got her name right) She was super efficient, personable and confident. I had a full evaluation and cleaning. I met the doc and had a great experience learning about available treatment options. Everyone was professional, personal and efficient. I had been apprehensive about leaving my dentist I had been with for 20+ years but I left with the confidence that I made the right decision by choosing this office.

Negative experience: I was very thankful that they were open on a Saturday and I was able to get in, in a timely manner since I broke one of my front teeth. The first few appointments were good they bonded my tooth that broke off back in so I had something. About a week or so later that broke so they rebounded it and it looked horrible but at least I had something there and not just a huge hole when I smiled. Finally came the day for the extraction and surgical placement of implant. It was the worst procedure I have ever went through, I would rather give birth again then do that procedure again. I took over 2 hours which is understandable but Brian kept leaving to work on other patients while I`m sitting there with a what I believe is a cheek retractor stretching out my mouth having a hard time trying to even close my mouth or swallow while drooling everywhere! Nobody was there to check on me during these times then after 15-20 minutes later when they came back they would just start working on my mouth again after a few times of that of course I`m not going to be numb anymore but I was never asked if I was still numb or doing okay when they got back all I heard about was the office gossip and how rude a patient was. It wasn't until I was crying and pushing back when they thought it ask if I was numb. Now I`m in the healing phase for 3-4 months then I go back in to get my hopefully final crown place after that I will be finding a new dentist.

Also and just as important, the partial denture has been working very well ever since my most recent visit to repair it.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome, the entire staff does a great job. The dentist is actually kind and funny, which is nice! He cared about the costs when making a treatment plan from the first day I went there. He reccomended what was a priority and what could be done later if I needed to space out the costs. The assistants are friendly and do an excellent job individually as well as by the dentist's side. The office lady is a wonder woman! She has helped me with so much from insurance claims to Care Credit financing and helped solve every problem I had. A good front desk person is worth a million bucks and can really make or break a relationship for me in a medical office. It is a joy to go in there despite that it is the dentsit! Haha Teeth cleanings were great and I am pretty picky about those. It has to be the right amount of attention to detail to actually get the teeth clean to where I can feel it, with just enough gentleness that I am not misserable with my sensitive teeth. I notice my teeth feel great and clean when I leave. I feel respected when I say something hurts or is a senstive area, although I know its annoying. They listen and get the job done without just going forward anyways at the same intensity like I have had in the past at other places. They always let me listen to my headphones which really helps me be a good patient. I tend to think everything hurts if I hear the drills, even when it doesn't haha. The shots are great too, which again, I've gone to several clinics in different states and notice when the mouth shots really suck. I haven't had any complaints and don't mind having to go through that here when I get fillings. Another thing to note that is cool about this place is that they do their own in house printing. So when I got a few crowns they are able to fix it all in one appointment, which is amazing without a temp crown and all that! They just prep it, measure it, then I have to wait an hour or two to have them put it back on and I'm good to go. I also got a retainer here recently because my orthodotics wire kept falling off. They did a great job printing that in house to where I could pick it up the next day and it has worked well. I was so happy to be able to get one right away with the great price and them offering to take care of it for me in that appointment. I would reccomend this place for sure. The dentist does a great job, the staff has awesome teamwork and it's a welcoming office!

Fantastic experience: Great dentist office. The office runs very smoothly, wait time is very minimal. The staff is kind and friendly. I saw Dr. Sawyer Ferguson for jaw pain. She did a very extensive exam and laser scanning, which showed I have TMJ. She made me a night guard to help with the pain and to minimize the teeth clenching. She is very nice and listens to your concerns. Prices are very reasonable. I have been taking TMJ injections, which help relax the muscles surrounding my jaw. Thank you Dr. Ferguson for relieving my pain!

Fantastic experience: Two recent visits-one with my 96 yr old mother. A molar had broken off, but the root needed to be removed to avoid infection. I was able to get an appointment with Dr Francis within 24 hours of calling. All the staff and Dr Francis were so caring and really helped Mom to relax and have a successful removal of the root. The second, was myself and a crack in a molar at the back of my mouth. Dr Ferguson and her assistant were so cordial and efficient with the whole process. Ivy, at the front desk is so friendly, and always with a smile ready to take care of all the other details.

Fantastic experience: I am a 52 year old chicken of the dentist...I have always had high anxiety about going, largely due to the fact I've had terrible teeth due to a seizure medication I have had to take for years. Dr. Francis and his entire staff have alleviated that anxiety and have gotten my teeth and gums under total control. They are profession, courteous, caring, compassionate and most of all funny as .... you get the point. NEVER have I looked forward to my 6 month appointments...ever! Now however I am at total ease....If you are looking for a new dentist, this is the one to switch to. If you're new to Billings and want to get established with a family dental practice again, this is the place. 3 out of 4 of my kids and their families go there and can attest to the same recommendation (the 4th one lives out of town, but is moving here and plans to establish with Brian and family)....!!!!

They always get me in fast if I have an issue, make it fun, and even when I have to bring my 1 year old they work around her so she can be comfortable on my lap. Dr. Francis is extremely skilled and capable, as are all of his dental assistants/hygienists. I recommend them to my siblings and even got my husband to switch over. If you are looking for a new dentist, this is where you should go!! <3

Fantastic experience: Very good people from one end to the other. Dr. Francis is very thorough and honest in his appraisal of your particular problems or situation.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience with this dentist and the staff and would never go back. Would certainly not recommend them. Make sure that you are in network with them before going because they won't tell you that otherwise. They will gouge you for every penny out of network that you owe them and aren't willing to help you with the bill. Cannot trust them.

Fantastic experience: We had our child evaluated for a tongue tie, and lip tie. Not only were they able to get us in sooner than the original appointment but the staff was incredibly kind and very thoughtful from offering water, holding my child so I could use the bathroom, to teaching us the stretches. Dr. Francis was very informative and thorough with the evaluation and procedure. Well worth the seven hour round-trip to get this procedure done. Highly recommend not only for tongue tie and lip tie evaluations, but for entire dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Francis gave my two-year-old daughter a crown, and let me tell you, something like that could have gone very poorly, but he and his team were so gentle and patient and thoughtful the entire time. They were accommodating to all sorts of unique needs that came up for a tiny little mouth and body, and they treated my daughter with the utmost care! I can’t give them as many stars as they deserve!
