Fantastic experience: The scheduling was easy, the staff was very kind and patient, and the procedure was quick and effective. My 5 year old left loving the dentist! The dentist was great about sharing info, updates, and answering all questions. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Brought both my kids in for their 6 month check up and the environment and staff was phenomenal. Going anywhere with two toddlers is stressful but they helped out tremendously and talked to my daughter about every step along the way to ease her stress and were gentle with my youngest as he was not a fan of it. Definitely made the right decision switching dentists for my kiddos!

Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience at Trailhead Pediatric Dentistry. The entire team was incredibly kind, calm, and reassuring with my son, who has a lot of anxiety. They made him feel safe and comfortable from start to finish. The procedure was quick and much easier than we expected. He barely even realized what had happened and left feeling calm and relaxed. We are so grateful for the care, patience, and professionalism of the whole team. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My toddler is autistic and has struggled with dental appointments in the past, but we had a completely different experience here! Our dental assistant was very patient and took time to explain every step and tool to him and take it at his pace. And his dentist was just as kind and patient! They also saw my one year old and did amazing with her as well, even with how squirmy she was. We will absolutely be coming back and I’d recommend them to any family!

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Trailhead enough! They are always so patient with my young kiddos (and me). I never feel judged when someone has a sugar bug that needs fixed!

Positive experience: It was our first time bringing my son, and the experience was very smooth overall. The service was well done, and the staff were polite and helpful, which we really appreciated. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is a small suggestion for improvement. When you come to a place and spend a significant amount of money, it would be nice to have something as simple as water available. I needed to take some medication at that moment and asked for water, but none was available. I had to leave my son in the room and go out to buy some. Just a small suggestion to help make the experience 100% satisfying for clients.

Fantastic experience: Trailhead is the absolute best pediatric dentistry establishment in Billings by far! Every staff member is so kind, genuine, and caring. Their work is excellent, they go above and beyond for every patient and there is always an uplifting, positive energy.

Fantastic experience: I have brought 4 of my kids to Trailhead, ranging in age 5-16. Every experience has been comfortable for the kids, no stress, fun and inviting environment. The staff is very knowledgeable with too equipment. The dentists have been fantastic and make the kids feel comfortable, but also don’t push unnecessary treatments on you. They provide a treatment plan with expected cost before and after the visit so you know exactly what you can expect for a bill. So impressed.

They are also so great at helping siblings that are there sitting on the side. To help them feel welcome and comfortable. I’ll be recommending them to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Chlarson is amazing. He’s great with my kids and very professional. My son fell and had significant trauma to his jaw/teeth and Dr. Chlarson worked with the oral surgeon and did such a great job with getting him fixed up. He made a scary ordeal much more bearable.

Positive experience: Not as private as I thought it would be, traffic coming and going. Otherwise everyone was nice and helpful.

Negative experience: Initially thought this was a good dentist until they wanted to pull several healthy teeth from my child. This practice only cares about money not your child’s teeth. This is a drill and fill dentist save your self the time and money and find another dentist.

Fantastic experience: Trailhead is the perfect dental place for kiddos. Their waiting room is inviting and kid friendly and the clinical staff does a great job making the dentist a not so scary place for young kids. My son who is almost two had a great 2nd check-up today.

Fantastic experience: Our neighbors mention Trailhead Pediatric and they have been incredible to my little girl. My daughter is only 2 1/2 & we started going around 1ish for cleanings as recommended but they have been incredibly patient and kind since day 1. They don’t rush the process and treat the kids & parents with so much grace. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Our first time with Trailhead and it was amazing. Very kind and considerate front end staff. The hygienist were friendly and had great attitudes. We had a minimal wait time made easier by their 2 arcade stations and a kids movie playing. I felt the price was somewhat lower than other dentists we have been to which I appreciated. They accommodated my personal preferences with regard to treatments for my boys. The dentist was quick with his checks, very open to questions and really polite. I’m grateful a friend recommended them to me as we will be back for future care.

Fantastic experience: Today, I found myself running late for my 5-year-old’s appointment due to unexpected circumstances. I called ahead to let them know, and despite the delay, they were incredibly accommodating and still welcomed us in.

Fantastic experience: Another location made a mistake and canceled our appointments without my knowledge (even after calling the morning of to confirm), and I didn’t find out until we had driven almost 300 miles. Trailhead worked us in and got my kids seen, and made us feel so welcome. This location is amazing and I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: The team at Trailhead Pediatric Dentistry are amazing. All of my kids go to them and we've had great visits every time. They are so good with talking to the children and easing any anxiety they had about their first time to the dentist. The office is pristinely clean, while also being a comfortable place to be. They have a little free arcade are and a big tv with cartoons playing when you walk in, and the staff are friendly and helpful. 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: They were great with my little guy that has sensory issues. I was a little worried because he's not very familiar with a dentist. They were so patient and made it fun for him. His last dentist he'd barely even let them look at his teeth. Here he even let them take xrays he felt so comfortable. They explained everything to him in a fun way so he wasn't scared or overwhelmed by the noises and lights. They went over his careplan and options thoroughly with me making sure any questions I had were answered before we left.

The entire process was smooth, effective, and—most importantly—completely painless. Payton was friendly, professional, and made everything feel easy and stress-free. I left with my teeth feeling noticeably cleaner and the whole appointment was quicker and more comfortable than I expected. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality cleaning without the discomfort!

The dentist and dental assistants all checked to be sure that I knew what was going on and everything was okay. We usually go to Rimrock on the west end but I would recommend either location! The staff is so helpful and personable, and the dentist walked my son through his first filling. He was great about asking if we as parents had any questions, and asking my son if he had any questions. Positive experience: Great dentist. Would be 5 stars, but they take forever to get you in an appointment. Even arriving early. I almost waited longer because I didn't show up damn near late like everyone else in here. Also very unorganized. Took xrays and was asked to go to the waiting room again because they weren't ready to clean my child's teeth

Fantastic experience: We always have a great experience here! Everyone is so nice, the front desk, the dental assistants, the dentists. My son had to get a filling which turned into a crown, and when the assistant was trying to get an x-ray, I believe her name is Maddy, she was having a hard time with his gag reflex and I explained it's always taken two people to get x-rays. She didn't question me or keep trying on her own, just immediately asked for assistance and they got it done. I appreciate them every time.

Gave us options for care and how to move forward. The ladies explained everything they did and what the next steps are. Everyone was amazing and so sweet! Worked with our schedule and getting him in quickly! Also got my other kiddos in their system to schedule for our past due cleanings. Amazing, we loved it there!
