Fantastic experience: I love Lincolnway Dental. I had a partial plate replaced with a full denture & a partial with a bridge in the lower. Dr Kim did a beautiful job. I get so many compliments. I return to the office every six months for a cleaning. Having sensitive gums, I appreciate Jazmin, so much! She cleans my teeth without causing me pain! Each time I have been there, my experience has been incredibly personal and professional. The staff & Dr Kim are welcoming & demonstrate the kindness of Jesus in their interactions. Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing experience with Jazmin for my cleaning .From start to finish, she made the entire appointment feel so comfortable and stress-free. She was incredibly informative, explaining everything she was doing and answering my questions in a way that was easy to understand without feeling overwhelming. She was also extremely gentle and calming, which meant so much to me because I usually have anxiety about dental appointments. Jazmin has such a soothing presence that instantly put me at ease, and the cleaning itself went smoothly and pain-free. Negative experience: Prior to Lincolnway I was being attended at Oral and Maxillofacial in Galena where I had been working on an implant for the past 3ish years. I have been attending Lincolway since then as both stores communicate and recommend one another. The difference of OMS and Lincoln is a big one, and had I known what happened to me this fall I would not have set foot on Lincolnway. There is no such thing as courtesy; they expect early times and not missing appointments, but yet when they are the ones that make you wait you dont get to charge them for tardiness. The occurances are few and in between but I want to say the quiet out loud as this review is hard to write already. Staff and dentists are great, you do form a great connection and things feel homey- but when their bottom line comes to the equation they will withhold information to the client and surprise you after the procedure is done. This is what happened to me; This 2025 I finally set out to have my implant done(budgeting, etc). From the early 2021's to now all had been covered. I did have 1 denial with OMS but OMS jumped in action and did assist on a reappeal to my name to make sure my coverage was good. The reappeal was successful. This Sept 16 2025 I began my implant. I paid what I had to and had to schedule my implant for Oct 21. What I did not know was that in between my insurance had notified Lincolnway about my denial and Lincolnway never did anything to notify me, or at least give courtesy of a heads up. I found this information when my implant was done on Oct 21 and got the bill with a non-chalant apology that I had been denied and needed to pay up $800 dollars now and the rest later. I felt conned and like stock before its butchered. The whole appointment the whole facility was aware and I just felt as they had their crosshairs until they snapped the news. What was I going to do? Tell them to take my implant off? I did not show anger or hatred, but disappointment as they knew what I did not. I paid, and called them again once I got home to see if they could reappeal or work with OMS to see what they had done to assist in the past as it was the same reason of my denial. The reception team did confirm they would research and assist with a reappeal on my behalf. I trusted them and left it there. Now from Oct 21 to Dec 3 I got 2 bills from Lincolnway to pay and if not I would incur late fees, yet I was not notifed if anything was done. I left voicemails about my inquiry before Thanksgiving and during that week is when I got my 2nd bill. I finally got a call to see what is going on and the response I got was of not caring. That they usually do, "their best to have things covered with insurance", but that was a blatant lie. I asked about my request of contacting OMS, the reception had no answer and had no clue if anyone had done their due diligence. I trusted them and did not take action on my insurance as Lincolnway had confirmed there would be an attempt; yet they wanted me to pay now ask later. Their response was that I would be automatically denied and that was enough reason for them to not try. Things just repeat, they have the information/reasources and yet they do not act. I want nothing to do with this facility. It was not about the money, but about how they handled the situation with no regard. I paid, got my information and will cancel future appointments. I should have known something within was bad when they had to call me to find an implant screw I gave them for safekeeping until my appointment date. They lost it and accused me that I did not give it to them. It wasn't until I verified I handed it to them and told them via the phone. Future clients; Please be wary, Please ask before your BIG appointments if you are covered, Please don't get too comfortable Please do not take this to the staff that do the hard dental work; this is more on the adminisitrative end and their leadership.

They always explain what they are doing, can give estimates for procedures, extremely clean environment and the absolute best staff including Dr. Kim. When you become a client, you become part of an amazing family. They care about their patients and their families. Fantastic experience: I went to Lincolnway Dental Center for cleaning and I am very happy with my Dental Hygienist Jazmin. I ask for topical for easy on sensitive teeth and she did the wonderful job cleaning without discomfort. Just wonderful Hygienist! And Dr Kim is always so caring and explain about any of my concerns. I already made appointment for next cleaning with my Hygienist Jasmine!

Negative experience: Suffering from what I consider severe dental anxiety, I did a Google search for dentists near me and happened upon Dr. Kim and Lincolnway Dental. My initial consultation was nerve wracking at the onset to say the least. The receptionists, dental hygienist, and Dr. Kim quickly put me at ease, which was no small feat. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and Lincolnway Dental! Updated October 2025: I called Lincolnway Dental to check on my next cleaning appointment. I was told I had missed my appointment (and subsequently charged). I asked why I wasn’t sent a reminder text because I had clearly been receiving texts from this organization all along. I was told I had “opted out” for reminder texts. I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best dental office ever! I always get nervous when going to the dentist but not at LDC. Everyone is so welcoming and professional. When I needed dental work I was so anxious, the dental assistant kindly explained everything and then when the dentist came to give me my numbing...I didn't feel anything! If you get anxious going to the dentist, I would definitely recommend. Also no crazy billing. They've always been transparent with what I'll owe, I love that.

Fantastic experience: I cannot love this office enough. I felt like a child walking into my first appointment with them a few months ago due to anxiety and horrible past experiences. They were kind, and patient, and took their time explaining things to me. I went back for two follow-up appointments, each time more confident, although still anxious. After my appointment today, I need a bit more work done, and although my anxiety reared it's ugly head, I know I'm in good hands and am so much less nervous about this next appointment.
