Fantastic experience: Love love my dentist, he is the very best out there , i’ve gone to him for 20 years plus I at one time I thought maybe I’d find something closer to home and cheated on him for a minute and it was the worst experience in my life. He is the very best Dentist out there knows exactly what he’s doing knowledgeable and an expert in his field. , trust everything and anything he says to do will never go anywhere else again , most Dentist out there I found will do unnecessary work and Duncan Howard is not like that he does what its necessary and what needs to be done

Fantastic experience: Arrived for my appointment yesterday 3/26/24 and was greeted by the new hygienist Lisa, since Cathy was my go to for the last 37 years plus didn’t know what to expect,well I was pleasantly surprised Lisa was great and addressed all my concerns and l left feeling totally satisfied, so fantastic job Dr.Howard on the new hire. Fantastic experience: I am 42 years old and I have been to many dentists over the years. Dr. Duncan is the best dentist by far. I received the best cleaning I have ever had at his dental office. I decided to bring all of my kids for their check ups (13, 11, 10) here. My 10 year old had a visit today and he said the dental assistant was funny and awesome. In fact, all of my kids said similar things. My kids also said it was the best cleaning they have ever had. Dr. Duncan removed a lot of stains my 11 yr old daughter had that another dentist had previously said would require another appointment and wasn't covered. The office is friendly, the dental hygienists are warm and welcoming and the dentist is kind, has a gentle hand, and is very thorough. I was terrified and cried throughout my first appointment (because of previous experiences with other dentists), and I will be going in for a check up next month and I don't have that same level of anxiety because I have experienced and my kids have experienced their kindness and expertise. I am really grateful for everyone in that office. Please don't hesitate to book and appointment, you will be relieved you did.

Fantastic experience: Since I switched dentist I’m so happy with Dr Duncan Howard, every time they make me feel welcome but most of all is the treatment during the past two years, they really care for your progress and specially if they see a problem, in my case they really make sure I understand. Dr. Howard is super nice and patient with his patients and his assistant (I love her patience as well) a lot of experience makes me feel good, but one time he asked me if I want him to sand my teeth down (two sharply teeth that I had for a long time) that No other dentist was concerned about my sharpy teeth before, I didn’t even know I could sand them, so Dr Howard fixed them for me for free. I was able to relax and be comfortable. Chris, the receptionist always provide excellent service. When I called in to set up appointment she was very knowledgeable with Cigna and explained everything to me. Dr. Howard DDS the best dentist I have ever. I went in with a major problem that a previous Dentist I had over 20 years. He gave me incorrect information to correct a problem he supposedly correct. Also other information regarding my teeth. Dr. Howard explained everything to me corrected problem. I have not had anymore problems. Excellent service!!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff are not only professionals but the atmosphere is always upbeat and relaxing. My hygienist is very thorough and is the best ever I’ve had at cleaning my teeth. Dr. Howard is a craftsman at his dental work and always does excellent work with crowns or any dental work. I don’t know what I would do if he ever decides to retire!

Fantastic experience: Update Sept 2025. Had an appt to put my permanent crown in, and the entire staff starting with Chris and Lisa and then Dr. Howard and Julie, could see that I was distressed and they were all understanding and compassionate when I told them that my best friend (who was also a patient that I referred several years ago) had passed away from cancer without much warning. They hugged me, held my hand, and expressed their condolences. While comforted by them, Dr. Howard put the permanent crown in, which was perfect as usual. So many reasons that I drive from Rch Cucamonga to their office in west Covina. Prior post 7 months ago: We absolutely love Dr. Howard and his entire staff. Proof is in the pudding, as we have been going there twice a year ever since my husband's cardiologist referred us there well over 25 years ago. I am terrified of pain, but with all of the various procedures including crowns, extractions, and one implant, with Dr. Howard using only novocaine ( injected with very fine baby needles) all I have mostly ever felt is pressure and very minimal pain that I easily tolerate. After so many years, Dr. Howard and his staff are like family to me and my family. I will miss Cathy his hygienist who recently retired, but I was very pleased with the teeth cleaning that I received from Lisa. I have referred many friends who , to this day, continue to go here. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Howard is a very excellent dentist. I have developed trauma seeing an other dentist because of my past bad experiences with other dentist in my area who unprofessionally gave up fixing my implant problem. For more than a year, I have been enduring the difficulty and pain of eating even soft foods. Until finally I have mustered enough courage to see a dentist because my implant’s problem is really getting worse. I went to the clinic of Dr Howard for initial consultation and I was skeptical about it. But after doing some examination, Dr Howard just started fixing the problem and lo and behold, he was able to do what other previous dentist had not done. He actually solved my problem. I am truly grateful and fortunate to have found him.

Fantastic experience: For starters, I really enjoyed their warm personalities being my first visit.. They made me feel relaxed as soon as I came through the door.. I was only there for a regular cleaning yet everything was still thorough to my expectations + I felt more like a patient not a credit card upon departure unlike my previous dental group.. ♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️ My second visit went just as well Love all the personalities there as well.. Fantastic experience: Hello everyone, I’ve only had three dentist appointments at this office. I’m going to my fourth one today. I have no complaints whatsoever. The doctor has been excellent with all the procedures and all of his assistance and even the secretary Chris has welcomed me. She has been very helpful with explaining insurance policies. This is my first time having insurance through my work and it’s very confusing. She has been a great deal of help. I have no complaints. I would definitely highly recommend this Dentist. Honestly, the first post I forgot to send so I’m going to attach my second post with my first post. I was just at the dentist on September 2, 2025 for cleaning. I also asked Dr. Dunkin to please sand down the sides of my partials so that my tongue fits better when I wear my bottom, partials, he did an amazing job. I am very grateful, very happy and I highly recommend this dentist. Thank you so much everyone have a great day.

Fantastic experience: My days are always packed even though I'm retired. I don't even know how I had the time to work fulltime. My To Do List doesn't always contain the "To do" teeth cleaning. It seems like a chore to take the time out to drive to the dentist, locate a parking space, walk up the stairs, and enter the dental office to take care of your teeth when life is driving you crazy! But, it's peaceful, and nicely paced when I'm sitting in the chair having Lisa work on my teeth. And we're done before I know it. She's thorough, efficient and professional!

Fantastic experience: I've been needing to find another dental office and I'm glad to have found your office. It was my first time here for a cleaning so I felt quite nervous, but I was able to leave feeling relieved. Kris at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and upfront about the costs. She conducted the X-ray of my teeth with quick precision and ease. Dr. Howard performed my cleaning with assistance from Kris. During the scraping portion of my cleaning, I was expecting my gums to be nicked because that was my experience at the office I frequented. As the cleaning went on, I felt more secure and comfortable. The overall experience was just gentler compared to my previous experience. My time and person was respected and I really appreciate that. And, the assortment of rubber duckies along the window sill was a nice touch. I look forward to coming back.

I highly recommend Dr. Howard & his team. This was my first visit with Dr. Howard and his team. This dental practice was recommended by a family friend to my wife who had an experience with a previous dentist that was wanting to provide treatments that would have cost near $20k. So she started here last year and she is happy because Dr. Howard’s practice is honest and costs are reasonable. Now that I have a PPO plan, I came in for X-rays, exam and cleaning. Like my wife, I’m happy with the services and treatment received. Dr. Howard also took personal charge of the cleaning. He answered my questions as well. There was no effort to upsell me with other treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Hunter & his team.

Fantastic experience: My experiences with the West Covina Dental office have all been positive thus far. I had an appointment this week to start the process of replacing a chipped crown. Overall, I have been pleased with the quality of all work completed to date. Staff have been professional. And most of my requests have been followed through from getting preauthorizations from insurance, etc. This office is pretty transparent about what the patient's responsibility will be before any procedure. So no sticker shock. Costs are discussed upfront with no pressure. The only negative I would say is that this office doesn't accept credit card payments without a fee. Don't get me wrong, you can use a credit card but they'll tell you upfront that they will have to charge you a 2-3 percent fee which is inconvenient. Also, this office doesn't have the 3D equipment to create a crown, etc while you wait. That would be fantastic if this was the case cause then I would have only had one appointment instead of two. But I understand that investment into that type of equipment would be very expensive. All in all, I highly recommend this office since they are very detailed oriented especially the dentist. The dentist is a perfectionist with high attention to detail which is the type of dentist you want. Whenever the dentist administers numbing agents, it's done in such a way that I rarely feel any discomfort. For me, I love the fact that this dental office is only a few miles from my home. This office even offers some Saturday appointments which is fantastic and very convenient.
