Fantastic experience: Always had a great experience with them was very accommodating when changes had to be made. Very friendly with me and my daughter. Very friendly and respectful. They send out timely reminders about your upcoming appointments. We recommend to other moms.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment for my daughter twice, and unfortunately, there were misunderstandings on both occasions. The first appointment was at 10:00 AM, but I mistakenly thought it was at 11:00 AM. I sincerely apologized for missing it and asked if the doctor could still see my daughter, but I was told it was too late. I then rescheduled the appointment for 8/31. On that day, the office called me, but unfortunately, I missed the call then I realized afterward and contacted the office again this morning to apologize and explain the situation. I was very surprised and disappointed when I was told that the doctor would no longer see my daughter because I had missed two appointments. I understand that offices have policies regarding missed appointments, and I respect the importance of patients keeping their scheduled appointments. However, I feel there should also be some consideration for genuine misunderstandings, emergencies, or situations where a patient may be unavailable to answer the phone. I was also told that according to their policy, if a patient misses two appointments, the doctor is unable to see the patient. I understand having a policy, but I believe there should be some flexibility and communication before completely refusing to provide care, especially when the parent is apologizing and trying to reschedule. Overall, I found the situation very frustrating and felt that there was little understanding or compassion. I hope the office will consider handling situations like this with more flexibility and better communication in the future.

Fantastic experience: As a dentist myself, I know firsthand how incredibly difficult pediatric behavior management can be. Taking my own daughter in for treatment could have been stressful, but Dr. Nyer was absolutely phenomenal. His ability to keep her calm, maintain complete control of the room, and deliver high-quality clinical care all at once was masterclass. He has a brilliant, gentle touch and an intuitive way of talking kids through treatment. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist who combines top-tier clinical skills with genuinely amazing patient management, look no further. I trust him completely, both as a mom and as a fellow dental professional!

Positive experience: Had an appointment for my child 2 days ago. This place was interesting. Getting in was a cute journey but we got upstairs (my 3 year old daughter and I) ready to go to a new dentist. Arrived early but did have to wait a bit longer than I thought especially when I saw people arrive after me, getting called in (maybe their dentist was ready already, I'm not sure) but we got called in about 45 minutes after our arrival. The office is cute and the people are pleasant. My daughter is very sweet so when the assistant came out and called for us, she went for a hug and the lady accepted it. We both went in and the assistant asked me questions that I was very honest about and gave me advice. They weren't able to do x-rays. They tried. The dentist was a quirky, fast talker but I just needed the information and dental care so he did his job. The cleaning was quick as well as the interaction. He gave my daughter a sticker and a new toothbrush. Overall, decent experience. Not sure yet if I would recommend to family and friends yet but happy to say, it revitalized how important dental health should be in my home so thats always a positive. Thank you to everyone who served us that day. As Patrick would say "A clean mouth, is a happy mouth"

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Dr. Nyer, Dr. Z, and the entire team enough! I’m currently deployed overseas, and when I reached out hoping to get my daughter in at the last minute, they accommodated us without hesitation. That level of kindness and understanding meant so much to me. My daughter, Bella, has been a patient here since she was one year old, and she genuinely gets excited every time she has an appointment. As a parent, there’s nothing more reassuring than knowing your child loves going to the dentist. The care, professionalism, and communication are outstanding. The doctors always take the time to explain everything, and the entire staff is warm, patient, and welcoming. The front desk team is friendly and respectful, and the dental assistants are amazing—they treat Bella with so much kindness and make every visit a positive experience. If you’re looking for a caring, compassionate, and kid-friendly dental office, I wholeheartedly recommend bringing your children here. They truly go above and beyond for their patients and families.

Negative experience: If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The last time my children were seen at this dental office was in 2023. At that time, I was abruptly informed that they no longer accepted my insurance and would no longer be able to provide services for my children. One of the main reasons I chose this practice was because I have a child with autism and was looking for a provider experienced in working with children with special needs. When I asked if there were any options available or if they could recommend another dentist who specialized in caring for children with autism, I was simply told no and wished "good luck." As a parent, that response was disappointing and lacked compassion. Thankfully, I was able to find a wonderful dentist elsewhere. However, nearly three years later, I am now receiving a bill claiming my insurance did not cover a service and that I owe $91. When I called for clarification, the receptionist was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice. Families, especially those with children who have special needs, deserve compassionate care, clear communication, and professional customer service.

Fantastic experience: Good morning, I had an appointment Monday morning with my 3 kids, everything had went well , the front desk was welcoming, the hygienist and the doctor were all nice, thank you also for the assistant who was trying to calm down my one year old but wasn’t having it see you all in 6 months.

Clean, bright, and beautiful. Dr Chao offered great insight and made sure my son was comfortable letting him know what was happening every step of the process♥️ we’ve found our Dentist! Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else! The team is always so kind, patient, and professional. They take the time to explain everything clearly, especially if you have questions about treatments or copays, which I really appreciate. It makes the whole experience feel stress-free and transparent.

Negative experience: This place is very kid friendly, very clean, But when it comes to the staff and billing department that's a different story. I was taking my oldest daughter to Dr. Nyer for awhile and he said she needs to see a an orthodontist I made the appointment with the orthodontist there in that office we were about to do the braces until they decided to be money hungry call me three times in 3 hours on the same day too let me know I had to give them $250.00 up front before the visit and they never told me this ahead of time so they didn't communicate too well with me. They need to let people know about their policies that are utterly ridiculous, never heard u have to pay a copay before u go see the Dr. So I took my daughter to another orthodontist and we love this place, much better, the Dr is amazing, and we will continue to go to this place so she can get the care she needs. The staff at this new place are very professional and very well accommodating to me. The biller for this office is very rude and should not be talking to patients families like this it's soo unprofessional and bad for business the Dr needs to really think about who they hire to be apart of the office teamand not rude people. I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy. Let alone my friends and family.

Negative experience: unfortunately , for those who have Fidelis, don't waste your time. They don't except that insurance.

Fantastic experience: Our first time visit today was excellent & beyond my expectations. The team was great from registering to the actual visit with my 7 1/2 year old & my 2 1/2 year old daughters. Dr Z. was awesome with the kids and was very attentive to both. My girls were actually nervous before attending, but they were great with them and made them feel very comfortable. Dr. Z was also very patient and detailed with all my questions! Will go back in 6 months for sure.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff. Very professional and mostly importantly very helpful with emergency situations. My son broke his front tooth twice and on both occasions they fitted him into their busy schedule.

Negative experience: Canceled my daughter's appointment for an annual dentist check-up. as she had severe cold and flu. I made a call to clinic and informed the orator for cancelation the appointment 24 hours prior to her appointment. Few weeks later called again to reschedule the appointment. I was informed that my daughter has been blocked from the clinic since she didn't show up for her appointment last time.

Fantastic experience: My children love going to the dentist, because of Dr. Nyer. The office staff are very welcoming, the wait time isn’t long, and everyone is friendly. I have, and will continue to recommend, family and friends to Bronx Pediatric Dentistry.

Negative experience: I give this Dentist one star. At first, they were really nice and as time went on, they started getting really disrespectful unprofessional. For two years straight in a row (4 visits) they had Not only canceled my daughter’s appointment. They also will reschedule her appointment months later they wouldn’t even try to accommodate with my work schedule. The physician is very nasty over the phone, especially with me telling him that his staff is very unprofessional. Do not take your kids here my daughter don’t even like this Dentist. They was always rough on her teeth. Do not take your kids here.

Fantastic experience: My child has been attending Bronx Kids Pediatric Dentistry since her first teeth made an appearance ! They are quite the professionals. Patience is key with children and they go above and beyond standards. Thank you all for making it a fun and seamless experience for both child and parent.

Fantastic experience: Our family absolutely loves this place! They are tremendously gentle and super caring for our daughters’ teeth in the office and out of the office. Our youngest is a toddler that doesn’t like the idea of anything touching her teeth, however Dr. Zultowsky showed us very helpful tips that helped for a more smooth and seamless process. In addition, the customer service is amazing! We definitely will be continuing our daughters’ care here.

Fantastic experience: Great experience Dr. Randy Zultowsky, DDS worked with our and 10 year old making sure they both had a thorough cleaning and check up. Would suggest this practice 10/10 times.

Fantastic experience: My son is almost 5, have been taking him here since he was almost 2 since he had a full mouth of teeth early. Exceptional care, the office staff is always always very welcoming, keep in mind kids are always afraid of going to the dentist. Im actually moving but will ensure I keep taking my son here. My son has has been seen at Bronx Kids Pediatric Dentistry since he was two years old and he has completed phase two of his orthodontic treatment. We could not be happier with the results! Fantastic experience: I finally found an excellent dental home for my children in the Bronx , this place is a gem! My son was so nervous when he learned that he had a dental appointment but as soon as we got in the office he was mesmerized by the wall art and decorations . I think he forgot he was actually at the dentist. All the staff are so pleasant , and Dr Nyer was awesome! He was gentle with my son and took the time to demonstrate and explain everything so clearly when it came to educating me about my son’s dental health and plan of care to maintain it.

Fantastic experience: After going to several pediatric dentists and never being seen on time, or having some weird billing issues, or not being kid friendly. I sat down and searched for a dental office dedicated to children and making sure they didn't hate the dentist. My daughter still is scared, but this office is very flexible, gentle, explain things very clearly, sets expectations for the child as what needs to happen but in a child friendly tone. Everything is set up for kids, the names of the tools have fun kid names, so children can feel comfortable coming to the dentist. We been coming here for a year and a half but it's been great!

Fantastic experience: I don’t think you could find a better pediatric dentistry office in the Bronx, or the whole of NYC. Dr. Nhung has been a gentle and attentive orthodontist to my teen for the past 2 years. My child got their braces off today and I am not sure who was more excited - us or the staff. Their teeth look perfect. The office in general has treated us like gold for the past 5 or so years. Bronx Kids is a diamond in the rough of medical offices in the Bronx, where you usually are exposed to long waits and impersonal treatment. I am so happy to have found them. Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a few years. Recently found out they offer orthodontic services since my son needs it. The staff here is warm, welcoming and friendly as well as professional and prompt. They work with your schedule as much as possible and most importantly they are patient with the kids. The office is very kid friendly. They even have tvs at every chair to distract the kids.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional first experience. The hygienist and Dr. Z were so gentle and informative when examining my little one. This was her first time at the dentist (17 months old) so she did cry quite a bit when they were giving her a cleaning. However, their practices were gentle and seemingly tried and true. I felt very comfortable having them care for her teeth and will for sure return regularly. I wish I could be a patient at BKPD!

Positive experience: I’m giving 4 stars because the Dr and hygienist did a wonderful job however the front desk has a nasty attitude. I got there a little early figured since my daughter was new I would get there to do the paperwork etc as I did this job before and we would always have clients come in a little before their appointment time to complete these things. She didn’t greet us she just proceeded to let me know the gate was drawn by the elevator because they are closed and she went on a little rant. I then said to her can we sit in the waiting area? She walked off without even addressing us went to a door I am going to assume to clear us sitting there with her supervisor she then came back and said her supervisor wasn’t there. She then went into a room and closed the door, so I in turn went and sat down with my daughter. Even the other mom there felt disrespected. After that everything went smoothly. I do suggest the practice notifies patients not to come in early to complete paperwork in the event that they are new or let the public know they are closed between certain hours

Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming here for years. The place is spotless. The staff is super professional and pleasant to interact with. Dr. Z always explains everything and makes my child feel comfortable. He’s very polite to his staff which I think means a lot. The staff even calls me before school holidays to remind me to book an appointment. I’m super satisfied and would highly recommend!

By the way, the receptionists, Dr. Nyer, the orthodontist Dr. Nhung, and all the dental assistants are top notch! Schedule your next appointment for your children with them and you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time coming into bronx kids pediatrics and it was a wonderful experience. I went in with my 11 month old and it being his first time. The front desk were very accommodating when I asked to see if they can move my appointment up. They were able to move it up for me with no issues. I was greeted by smiling happy staff. The hygienist explained everything to me and also kept my baby at ease. I met with Dr. Nyer who was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable. He kept the whole experience very positive. He answered all my questions. You can tell that the office really likes kids and they have the patience for them. I will definitely be going back. Very pleased with my experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been vsiting the office with my daughter for about 2 years. The staff is always friendly and curteous. I never have to wait to be seen. The office is clean with a decor welcoming to children of all ages. I never feel rushed, the staff always answer all my questions and more importantly my child feels safe.

Negative experience: I would give Dr. Z four stars but whoever is answering the phone and making appointments are impatient and disrespectful. She made comment of "my lord" in frustration when explaining a dental situation. Totally unprofessional.

Negative experience: Receptionist wanted to catched an attitude with me after I told her that her employee didn’t inform that there’s a fee in the first appointment that I had ,since their a “private” dentist ,then she wanted to reschedule me the end of the month so my child’s cavity could get bigger right and then she says there’s a opening because somebody just cancled. She was going back and forth with me for so long that the that the doctor had to step in and say we can do the procedure today and you can pay next time. receptionist caught an attitude instead of trying to fix the situation she just made it worse. If I would have been informed of the fee on the first day I would of NOT gotten upset. I sat down and I told my child’s father that I do not want to speak to this lady anymore and she wants to yell out across the office “YOU CAN TELL ME YOURSELF” like how professional?!? I bet she won’t have that attitude outside the dentist office. These ladies Need training in how to deal with situations and how to handle it the correct way instead of going and back with patients parents. Now I’m going to look for a dentist for my daughter because I will not be dealing with this front receptionist lady every time I have my daughters appointment. No thank u. Lost a patient coming from an upset parent by service provided by your employees. One employee just ruined my entire experience here.Good day, IN RESPONSE ago your allegations of “verbal abuse” I don’t think you’re aware of the definition of it. You sound kind of emotional in that response love. I should have read the previous reviews this isn’t the first time that your staff demonstrates inappropriate behavior towards patients parents. Your employee was not answering my questions as to why I was NOT informed. Like I’ve said before I was NOT informed. Anything to make yourself look good online. Ridiculous. I have repeated myself more then 1,000 times YOUR STAFF DID NOT INFORM ME. You should look over your security camera footage.

Fantastic experience: Both my boys have now gone periodically for a check up and cleaning. Front desk and dental assistants are super kind and accommodating to the little ones. Naturally a 1 and 2 year old will cry but it is awesome that the their dentist gets the job done and super quick. They are great at providing guidance on what to do at home. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: My family has been going to Bronx Kids for the last 8 years and we could not be happier. Recently, one of daughters required orthodontist work and we began seeing Dr. Nhung in this office. The experience so far has been amazing. She has been unbelievably warm, exceedingly generous with her time, very reassuring to our nervous kid and most importantly has displayed the skills necessary to fix our child's issue. We highly recommend this office in general and Dr. Nhung in specific.

Negative experience: They recently acquired a new orthodontist with no notification to the patients who were seeing the previous orthodontist. This new orthodontist Dr. Nyun I believe does not care about patients, there were a shift or movement in the teeth and instead of discussing options to rectify the situation she charged me for new retainers. Horrible service would not recommend going here for orthodontist. Poor service, feels more of scam and money making now.

Fantastic experience: My sons have gone to Bronx Kids Pediatric Dentistry on numerous occasions, and each time has been a great experience with Dr. Nyer! From the receptionist, to the dentist, everyone is pleasant, thoughtful and kind. My husband and I appreciate the cleanliness of the facility, and how they treat us upon arrival and thereafter. Thank you for putting a smile on our little ones faces, literally and figuratively :)

Bronx Kids Pediatric Dentistry was able to accommodate us on such short notice(same day) Do yourself a favor and bring your child here IMMEDIATELY! The staff was so friendly and made us feel at home the second we came inside. Dr. Z was super helpful and nice! My toddler did not cry once. We will definitely be using this practice going forward. I will not take my son no where but Bronx kids .. the place is also nice and clean.. Fantastic experience: The patience they have with kids is amazing. My daughter is afraid of dentists just like me, but this place is totally different from others they make sure the children who come by feel safe. So far, everything has been good. My husband usually enters with my daughter. Only 1 parent is aloud, so I stay outside. If anything changes, I'll keep you guys updated.

Negative experience: I USED to love this place for my son, but after visiting a different dentist, that quickly changed. I went to a new dentist because I started to become suspicious that every time we visited Bronx Pediatric Dentistry my son had a new cavity. I found this to be weird because we take dental health seriously at home, brushing and flossing twice a day. After taking my son to a new dentist office, I learned that my son didn't have any cavities at all. The new dentist completed an x-ray of my son's teeth and advised that he did not have any cavities at all. She showed me the x-rays and advised that even if they were filled, she would still be able to tell that they were there. My advice: if you are having this experience that your child has a cavity at every visit, please get a second opinion.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience! It was a very quick appointment for xrays, cleaning, and exam. They were very warm and friendly with my child and the hygienist, dental assistant, and dentist all provided fantastic service. I will be returning.

Fantastic experience: Accomadating, supportive, sweet, informative, kid friendly environment. Upon hearing that there was parking on premises I was already ecstatic. The office has an elevator that can be taken outdoors directly to the main office where I was greeted by friendly receptionist and beautiful bright decor. I have two special needs children so I am very particular to where I take my children for any services. The staff from start to finish were understanding, supportive, patient and made my children and I super comfortable. Dr. Nyer was very informative about my children’s dental health and the hygienist and him performed a thorough cleaning to my boys. I am in all happy and I look forward to our future appointments.

Fantastic experience: I found this dentist office via google and I must say I am so HAPPY with this office. I called to schedule an appt and was accommodated with an appt within two days and at a time where my baby did not have to miss school. The staff were all very kind and the doctor was very playful and gentle with my son. We WILL be returning in 6 months. I recommend this office for all children, especially if its your childs first visit to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: This was my son and I first time coming to see Doctor Zultowsky he is such amazing doctor very patient with Liam. Love the staff they are great and very polite. I would recommend this office to everyone who has kids. Office is clean & neat. If your appointment is at 9:30 you will be called at the time you were scheduled. By the way they did a great job to my son teeth. I love it.

Negative experience: My children have been coming here for years. As of recently, we have a few missed visits due to back to back sickness between all of them. Covid twice and also the stomach flu. All things that are out of our control. This office decided to block us from making any more visits because of this and told us to call our insurance to find a new dentist. This is totally unprofessional and completely out of line. I am aware of their policy but this policy shouldn’t pertain to people with sick children. I would advise everyone and anyone to stay away from this office. The dentists are good but the other employees that work in this office are horrible. You should be ashamed of yourselves for telling sick children they can’t come back to the office for missing visits.
