Negative experience: Very disappointed with our experience. Our child had an IV procedure, and during recovery, we felt rushed to leave because the nurse told us another client was coming in and that we could not stay there. I found this extremely rude and concerning. What is the point of having a recovery area if a child cannot remain there long enough to properly wake up and recover after a procedure? As parents, we simply wanted to make sure our child was awake and doing okay before leaving. We should never have been made to feel like we needed to rush our child’s recovery because another appointment was coming in. This experience left us very disappointed with how the situation was handled. And after the procedure there are new scratch marks around my kid’s ear area which is unacceptable.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with our experience. After my child’s IV procedure, the nurse rushed us to leave because another patient was coming in. As a mother, I just wanted my child to have enough time to wake up and recover safely. What is the point of a recovery area if we’re being rushed out before my child is fully awake? The way this was handled felt very rude and upsetting.

Fantastic experience: It was my daughter’s first time going to the dentist they were very patient and understanding! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have absolutely had an amazing experience with Children & Teen Dental! The staff is so welcoming and kind! They made sure my boys felt comfortable and excited to have their teeth cleaned, and amongst the fun they were able to educate them on the importance of their dental health. I also appreciate the child friendly atmosphere of the office. There's toys and games available for them to play, and they also always have a cute movie playing for them to watch during their cleaning. Last but certainly not least, Dr. Mian is also great pediatric dentist. She's very down-to-earth and sweet to the children. She thoroughly explained the treatment plan to us so that we felt confident making an informed decision. Needless to say this will be our dental home for years to come!

Fantastic experience: Everyone is always friendly and they don't try to get you to do unnecessary procedures!

Negative experience: Horrible practice! Made a appointment for my daughter took the day off from work and planned a few appointments that day.The day before 9:00am they call to confirm I am at work unable to get my phone so at 2:00pm (same day) on my lunch break I called they told me I did not call back by 12 so they cancelled my appointment and gave it to somebody else. I am sorry I have been planning this appointment for weeks and because I didn’t call to confirm in a 3 hour window it was canceled! I didn’t wait days I called back on my lunch break 5 hours later and they said it’s too late and I would need to reschedule. It’s hard for parents who work to just do that. I hate leaving negative reviews but this is not ok and they could have cared less!

Fantastic experience: If your child requires an out of this world space(r) experience, shoot for the stars…5 star rated Mykala, that is! Defying gravity, Mykala effortlessly floated those spacers into place while our daughter flew around the room. In a universe where space is limited and Wicked (is) For Good, we are definitely happy now and will continue to follow the wonderful road of yellow brick back to Children and Teen Dental!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be happier with this place. Second time i have been here and both times have been amazing. Valentina and the entire staff in general, have always provided exceptional service for our son. Came in for tooth extraction and my son was in and out in less than 1 hour. Thank you to everyone for all their help

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to Children and Teen Dental Cumming location for several years. Staff is very friendly and professional. They make my kids feel welcomed every time. The most important part is my kids are not scared of dentist office. recommended!

Negative experience: Can I rate it a ZERO?!!! My son chipped his front tooth. I called and explained the situation, and though the office close to our house was closed, they said they could get me in the Cumming office. It was an hour drive, but front tooth, so kinda important. Upon arrival (10 min early), when we go back, the technician says, “Oh the Dentist won’t be able to see you today.” I about flipped out. I drove an hour, then waited 45 minutes to see the Dentist, NEVER SAW HER, then had to drive an HOUR HOME!!!!! The technician blamed it on the “call center” booking appointments. I was EXTREMELY upset. Still am super frustrated. Did I mention I was recovering from a knee replacement, & so was uncomfortable anyways. Dropping the ball on a LOT of core values on this one!! Negative experience: Had to switch after today , my son has never had any issues going to the dentist until today a new staff member had a bad attitude and after medicating him Decides to Tell me that he’s done without doing the work due to him not being able to use the mouth scissors

Fantastic experience: I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional work of the children’s and teen dental staff of Georgia. I have seven children who have visited the office, and each experience has been remarkably smooth and respectful. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive to the needs of my family and as well as other families. They are always willing to address any concerns we may have, provide guidance, and find appropriate solutions to any dental issues we may encounter.

Positive experience: Staff has usually always been very friendly. I was there with my children getting a cleaning on 7/16 and saw one of the dental assistants playing in her hair (for several minutes and then didn’t wash her hands nor grab sanitizer) over the trays out for the children’s teeth. I go tell front desk and they immediately go and tell the assistant. At first I was thankful for the prompt response but it appears they are all friends and when the assistant left from telling what I’d told the pregnant assistant proceeded to say loudly “what??? Whose hair? Mine or yours?” Than a staring battle went on with me and a few in the back which was very uncomfortable bc now I’m watching my children since no one had the decency to remain professional. I pray it doesn’t happen again.

Positive experience: The staff and service were great from the moment I approached the front desk to the time I met with the dentist for my child. However, I'm rating it 4 stars due to a minor concern. While bringing my child for care, I found it difficult to hear the dentist's instructions because the dental assistants were engaged in loud conversations nearby. Aside from this, everything else was great.

Fantastic experience: Another great experience at this office. Great service, the front reception ladies were real nice. The back assistant and hygienist were nice did everything very thorough, the hygienist really answered every question. The Doc was quick with my 2 year old. Thank you !!

Fantastic experience: We like it here. We came from another office where they told me that my daughter had some many cavities. We came here and they did a thorough cleaning and there was not cavities at all. Now my four years son is also coming here and he is so comfortable with all the staff.

Negative experience: The office did not notify me prior that they would be closed today. I wasted time and gas driving there.

Negative experience: We did not have a good experience here, they closed their Suwanee location (red flag) then said my 11yr old needs a root canal which I only found out about when I thought we were getting a general cleaning. It was like they had his file mixed up with someone else smh. We found another dentist, no root canal Be mindful of this place

My son’s where very anxious about the first appointment and any procedure, but Dr. Alia Mian was very patient with them and spend a lot of time talking to them and making sure they where comfortable and the staff was very helpful and kind and always available to help. Dr. Alia Mian is very professional, she takes the time to explain what needs to be done and provides valuable advice , It's not easy to find a good dentist for your kids, I highly recommend Dr. Alia Mian and her staff for kids and teens.

Fantastic experience: Daughter’s (4) first dentist appt. Scheduling was easy, appointment was on time, we were in and out under an hour. We prepped with youtube videos at home and the staff was all super friendly. She’s not afraid of the dentist and had all smiles!

I love how they send the text message reminders well ahead of your appointment so u know exactly when and what time. I have 3 children that have seen multiple dentists all though their years (due to insurance bouncing) and at children’s teen and dentistry is by far the best place we have been to!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend to anyone look for a great dentist!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Staff is always friendly and efficient. The dentist is patient and takes time to answer questions.

Negative experience: They charge $51/person for applying fluoride which is in a small little sachet bag. We are insured and about 6months ago they didn’t charge for this. What is happening? If we have to pay then we can pay, but for 3 and 4 years old kids don’t need so much floride for their teeth anyway.

Fantastic experience: Was in and out within no time, no wait-time at all, my daughter had a pleasant experience.

Negative experience: We have been to this dentist seven times, and not once did they bother to ask for confirmation in advance. But today, on March 31, 2023, some airheaded receptionist had the nerve to tell us we need to confirm one day beforehand. And to top it all off, she had the audacity to serve the people behind us first and told us to make a new appointment! My son took a day off just to come here, and now they want us to waste another day! This is an absolute outrage! We have been loyal patients for seven visits, and they treat us like garbage. This is beyond irresponsible; it's downright disgusting.

Negative experience: Scheduled follow up cleaning for 3 children for an afternoon appointment only to arrive to locked doors and a closed office. Both myself and wife took time from work to collect the children and get them to dentist, not to mention the prep work for interruption of their routine. Called phone service to be told the office has been closed for some time despite the fact that we just scheduled the appointment less than two weeks ago.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mian took such great care of my daughter for her extractions. The entire staff was excellent in helping to calm her nerves and the process was as good as could be hoped for .

Negative experience: Took my 4yr old in for an emergency visit. First off let me say I dropped the ball and didn’t realize she had huge awful cavities in her back teeth. I had to pick her up from daycare cause her tooth was hurting. Second day of it hurting her and no appt was available. They took her in and I was surprised till we went back. They took radiographs and examined her mouth. It was Friday and we were told to come back tues that they didn’t have time to fix the tooth that was bothering her. I asked if there was anything they could give her to stop the pain till we come back and was told it didn’t happen overnight. It is now Sunday and this poor baby has been crying non stop about her tooth, can’t eat, can’t sleep. We’ve tried Motrin, Tylenol, Orajel, some different tooth/oral anesthics, nothings helping. I will keep my tues appt to help my baby but this is the worst experience with any pediatric dentist ever. YES, it was my fault her teeth got to this point but you are a doctor and when a child comes to you in pain you should do what you can to help her not make her suffer cause you don’t have “time”.
