Fantastic experience: I have been going here for a while now and I have to say the entire Staff there is Amazing! Dr. Ryan is great and so is the staff around him from the hygienists to the office staff. Very polite and respectful every time that I’m in there! I could not be happier!

Fantastic experience: As someone who has a lot of anxiety when it comes to the dentist, because of past (terrible) experiences, I have nothing but positive things to say about my first few appointments here. Holly, Nina and Dr. Ryan have made me feel comfortable, not judged and happy to be there while having dental work done. They are cautious, explain everything very well and actually care deeply about me as a patient.

Fantastic experience: Annette is hands down the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. She’s incredibly meticulous, and after every cleaning, my teeth feel so cleaned. I’ve been seeing her for three years now, and her consistency and attention to detail always impress me. She’s also a great listener and always addresses my concerns thoughtfully and appropriately. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for excellent dental cleanings.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ryan and Assistant Kp did a great job extracting tooth #1 (a wisdom tooth). Nice friendly atmosphere at the Kenmore location.

Positive experience: Apparently sending prescriptions is difficult for this office. I’ve been a patient for 5 yrs, with insurance, yet they had me get off the table and pay first..sad way to treat a human.

Fantastic experience: Dr Gretchen and Kristen were amazing! I have a “dentist phobia” and they made my experience painless! I never thought having 4 teeth removed would be such an easy and painless process! Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Awful, shoddy work. I've had 3 teeth worked on multiple times, Dr. Ryan never truly repairs anything, just does a half assed job to keep me going in for work. He gave me a crown last time and I have been having problems ever since. I'm suffering from excruciating tooth and jaw pain and my bite is off. My teeth on the crown side are now very crooked. I will probably call my lawyer because something is really wrong. I had been trying to make an appointment for weeks, the dips at the front desk would answer and make me hold or they didn't answer at all. I'd left messages and no one returned my calls. Today they finally stayed on the line and when I tried to make an apointment, the girl told me that I was "discharged" due to missing appointments. I've NEVER been a no call no show and I gave them plenty of notice. I'm a teacher and I missed appts because I was sick. I have doctor's notes and Dr. Bob's Kenmore doesn't care. FYI: I had to wait 2.5 months to get a crown appt. I had a cleaning and asked the hygeinist why it takes so long to get an appt and she said that Dr. Ryan was the only dentist at that location. I asked what to do in case of a dental emergency, she said they'd fit me in for a short exam but other than that I'm not going to get the care I needed, broken tooth or extreme pain, too bad. Beware. Don't go there unless you want substandard work. I was going to say substandard care but that they do not. I knew I should have found a new dentist months ago, never ignore intuition. Isn't the hippocratic oath do no harm?!

Fantastic experience: Dr Gretchen and Kristen were amazing. Phenomenal hospitality and an easy wisdom teeth removal process. Still in my recovery phase but it’s going smooth as of now. Can’t wait to eat a Cheeseburger or some Chicken haha. Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for a few years now. They are truly one of the best places to go to. They take very good care of you and make you feel well at ease.

Negative experience: Terrible office that does not follow up with their patients referrals and insurance and then blames the patient! They are not helpful at all.

Negative experience: Showed up yesterday for my cleaning, and the staff handed me a patient form to fill out. The type was so small, a flea couldn’t read it. I am 72, and if I’d been given notice that I had to fill out a questionnaire, I would have brought my glasses. I was frustrated, and walked out. I have been going here for years and years.

Fantastic experience: I have always been afraid of going to the dentist ! The Dentist and hygienist that did the work on me today did a great job I'm so happy with the results. Thank you both

Fantastic experience: Dr Gretchen & Kristen - the dynamic duo - are the BEST in Buffalo! They literally saved me from a horror story that happened at another practice and my fear of the dentist is gone. I was cared for in such a kind and appreciative way under their supervision and i wouldn't recommend anyone else! 5+ stars!!!

Fantastic experience: I love this office so much, everyone there is super nice.. dr Gretchen is my go to, Shantielle is a doll, super nice & informative. YEAR LATER UPDATE:Service has gone down tremendously, I tried to speak to Dr Ryan about my unpleasant experiences, to which he blew me off.. a customer who paid over $7,500 CASH MONEY for my services.. so if the head Huncho doesn’t care that’s explains why the staff IS NOT on top of their game. Dr Gretchen is STILL THE BEST

Fantastic experience: I called this location to get some information and I spoke to a young lady named Michelle. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient with me during the entire call. If the rest of the staff half as good as her, then I look forward to sticking with Dr. Bob's and referring them to my friends and family! And honestly, if Michelle had to work during the crazy days of the eclipse phenomenon, then I think she deserves a raise for dealing with all that recent craziness.

Fantastic experience: Everybody knows the usual fears that people voice about not liking visits to the dentist. But a lot of folks would never reveal to people that it's been YEARS since they've seen a dentist, and now they're afraid to get in the chair and open wide because they think someone will be judging them. Or they fear getting some kind of horrible news that will leave them once again swearing they'll never go back to a dentist. Or...well, you get it. If you're still reading, I'll assume I've hit a nerve (sorry--I couldn't resist). And you really should just try to RELAX. Then go make the appointment. The entire staff couldn't have been nicer, and my intake visit moved along at a pace that didn't leave me sitting anywhere, just waiting. (I'll bet that you hate that, too.) Bottom line: I left there feeling better about everything--even the unpleasant stuff. So I made an appointment...and I'm not dreading it at all.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Dr Bob's Kenmore for 5 to 7 years and especially over the last 3 years I have had such a good experience that I always keep my 6-month cleaning and keep current with my dental work. My hygienist Holly is so gentle and thorough even though I have sensitive teeth and Dr Ryan is such a good dentist I no longer avoid going to the dentist! Thank you Holly, Dr. Ryan and staff!

Negative experience: Terrible. Went there for a filling, and the dentist needed to give me novacaine 3 times because she could not get it right. The 3rd time she injected at the base of my nerve to numb the whole side of my mouth, but while she had the needle in my skin, she adjusted it and sliced my nerve. After my appointment, my jaw was numb for a week and swollen for 2-3 weeks after that. Now the bottom right corner of my mouth does not meet up with the top corner of my mouth when I smile, leaving an ugly gap. I do not feel the happy tingly feeling (in your cheeks when you smile) on the right side of my face anymore. Even better, when the dentist and her assistant finished, they high fived each other saying it was record fast for them for a filling. Absolutely unprofessional and I wish I could sue. I saw an oral surgeon and unfortunately they cannot fix Dr Bob's mistake.

Fantastic experience: My experience today was so nice. They listened to my issues and fixed them with no problem. They were nice and have good customer service skills also very professional and my teeth feel amazing

Negative experience: Friendly staff but after a appointment in August I needed a crown and they stated they would let me know when insurance approved to set up a appointment months later I called them and was informed insurance company had t responded yet and they would resubmit claim and to call back in a few weeks after a few weeks I called back then was told I needed to call insurance company myself which I did it’s now November the insurance company informed me they were waiting on X-rays and needed to know of I needed a full crown or partial done and dentist office hasn’t submitted anything so I call back get answering machine and leave message after a week of no one calling me back I called again letting them know I had called with. No call back and if someone could please return my calls week goes bye we ate now in middle of December and no one will return my calls was really disappointed because I thought I had found a great new local dentist , so now after 5 months of waiting I will be seeking a new dentist office

Positive experience: A bit slow but I'll take slow over painful any day. The techs are really nice and gentle and open to questions. My only complaint is that it would be nice if they would call someone when their insurance is giving them a problem instead of just kicking patients off without warning :(

Fantastic experience: Dr Gretchen and Kristen p. Extracted my wisdom teeth . They both were very friendly and nice made me feel comfortable in a super nervous situation .

Negative experience: Called to reschedule an appointment, no one answered and I had to leave a message. No one ever called me back and I got charged $50 for a "missed appointment". Last time I was there no one got my name right and wouldn't use my pronouns. Don't come here if you're not cis.

Negative experience: Overuse of numbing application. Got a filling redone (for the third time, first two times it fell out the day after) and so far my face has been numb for 5 hours, can’t say I’ll be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually right reviews but Dr Ryan that’s my guy.. i previously went too dr bobs on elmwood and had a terrible experience so it was challenging trusting and new dentist but Dr Ryan is very professional, honest and doesn’t leave his patients when he’s working on them.. there’s more than one dentist there so he keeps his attention on his patient which is important and also his assistant that helps him is very nice and comforting great team work .. 5/5

Also, wanted to add the Dr. Ryan is the first dentist I have ever felt comfortable with. I've had a phobia of the dentist due to splotchy health insurance through my youth and young adulthood. My teeth were a disaster and DR Ryan wasn't judgemental at all! He just helped make a plan and now my mouth is so much better. Definitely come here!!!

Fantastic experience: Originally from the Bronx, I didn’t know anything about dentist offices in Buffalo and decided to give this one a shot. Place was nice and staff were friendly, especially Aniya, as I had a lot of questions and she helped me to the best of her ability and remained patient.

Fantastic experience: Everyone as very kind and professional, I am particularly happy with my hygienist Annette, who checks on me when I am there for other services, I am a little tactile defensive when it comes to my teeth an when I get a cleaning she spends extra time being gentle and careful, she remembers from one visit to next things that worked well with me and things I did not tolerate as well. Honestly after my crown and implant, I contemplated changing dentists but I stayed because of Annette
