Fantastic experience: We are so glad we switched to Nickel City. The entire team from Dr Pallotta on down has been nothing but professional and very helpful. Each step of the treatments have been explained to our satisfaction and every question answered. We have been extremely happy with all the work done thus far. And, they play great music in the office!

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist in nearly a decade, and was absolutely terrified about the whole concept of dental care. Kaitlyn and Dr. Pallotta were both very kind, nonjudgmental, and helpful at getting me back on track. After a few appointments, I'm much more confident in my smile, and I know my teeth are much healthier. If you're nervous about seeing a dentist, I can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Nickel City Dentistry is the BEST Dental experience I ever had! The whole team at the Hertel Avenue office was Amazing, Dr, Palotta was very compassionate and understanding of my concerns. But it all started with my phone call on Monday Alyssa, Receptionist was Amazing! When I walked in for my appt the next day Alyssa was attentive. Aamna, Dental Assistant was funny yet considerate, she really put me at ease. After seeing Dr. Falotta there was a cancellation so they had me see Kaitlyn, Hygienist, again Compassionate and understanding and explained everything thoroughly just as Dr Falotta did!! I’ve been telling everyone about this office! Thank you for being You 2/25/26 I’ve had two visits with Kaitlyn, Dental Hygienist since my initial appt on 1/6/26. Every visit from the moment I walk in and greeted by the Amazing Alyssa at the front desk makes you feel truly Welcomed and is very knowledgeable about Insurances. And as for Keen Kaitlyn, she made me feel comfortable and understood my worries, she is a very compassionate human-being. I can’t say enough about this Office, but again Thank You for being YOU

Positive experience: I’ve always loved this place, everyone is super friendly and attentive. They’ve always cared and catered to my needs. I was so happy when they opened up near my neighborhood, besides being in Snyder, it made life so much easier when I had young kids. Even though my husband and I grew up in Snyder. He chose to stay at that location. We’ve both been happy. However I had a 6 month cleaning this week and was very disappointed to find out that Dr. Augello will no longer be coming there on Tuesdays. I honestly would have liked a heads up ahead of my scheduled day especially since I’ve been seeing her for many years.

Fantastic experience: I recently started going to Nickel City and I’ve had a great experience after having several bad experiences at other offices in the Buffalo area . At my cleaning, they did gum measurements and a very thorough cleaning, as well as fluoride treatment . Dr Kennelly did several fillings for me, and was very thorough and explained everything as we went. Everyone there is so great, very personable and thorough. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I needed a new dentist and found Nickel City just over a year ago. They’ve been wonderful. Communication is fast and the reminder calls / texts are nice. The staff is friendly, helpful, and make what can be an experience many of us dread actually nice and even enjoyable. They worked well with me with some insurance questions and were up front about what they can and can’t do. Clarity is appreciated. I hope to stay a patient for the foreseeable future.

Negative experience: Yesterday's cleaning left me feeling sad .. i felt as if it was rushed, aggressive, and perhaps the tech was preoccupied with other thoughts. I took special offense to her touching the touch screen monitor with the exam gloves used for my cleaning. Yesterday just was not it for me.

Negative experience: If I could give this dentistry a 0 I would. I went in for a routine cavity filling and ended up having no feeling in my tongue for 6 months. I still have a slight tingle. When I went to the doctor they told me the dentist had served a nerve in my tongue when they were numbing it. I had cancelled my next appointment with them because of this issue and they told me to give it a week and come back to continue getting my next cavity filled. On the day I was supposed to return I called them and let them know that the numbness and tingling had not gone away and I needed to cancel my appointment. Since then, I have had collection calls over cancelling my appointment because I didn’t pay the cancellation fee even though they serve red my nerve and told me to cancel if it wasn’t fixed by then. No accountability. Will be filing a lawsuit on this as well.

Fantastic experience: I unfortunately had a cracked cavity filling and to my fault let it linger a bit longer than I should’ve … until eventually I was flossing in the morning and the whole filling itself fell out. I was stressed, I didn’t have a consistent dentist I liked going to at the time and didn’t know who to go to. To add to the stress of this, this also conveniently happened in the midst of a winter storm here in Buffalo. I was calling around had no luck until I tried nickle city dentistry, they were able to fit me in the same day that I called to my surprise. The visit was very pleasant, they fixed me right up and it was a huge relief to get it fixed the day of. The whole staff was very nice and knowledgeable, I now am very happy to know that I found a new dentist I can feel confident going to on a regular basis, thank you nickel city dentistry

Fantastic experience: Being new to Buffalo, it was hard to know / find a good dentist. As somebody who really tries to take care of his choppers, having proper dental care is important to me. I cannot stress enough how awesome Nickel City Dentistry is! Friendly, welcoming, professional, clean and from fillings to cleanings they are perfect. If you don’t like who you are currently using or are just in need, do not hesitate at all to use Nickel City Density. I literally can not recommend them enough!

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. (I want to reiterate- they will sell your account to a collections agency over $75 cancellation- never sending YOU, the patient, a statement first. So even if they respond to this saying they tried sending reminders- the actual problem is they never sent a statement.) Not only are they incompetent, upsale you for prosecutes you don't need and have a habit of rescheduling you 3-4 times before you can actually get an appointment. They also pester you about getting Invisalign if you don't have perfectly straight teeth. As well as if you miss 1 appointment due to family emergencies or are not able to get back to them about a cancellation they will sell your account to a collections agency over a "$75 cancelation fee" without contacting you prior to try and collect. Save your time & money by going to any of the other reputable dental offices in the

Positive experience: Everyone was great. The only problem was they did not have a numbing gun. Even though I have appointments I may still try and find a dentist who has a numbing gun. I think I’m allergic to lidocaine. The patches for skin irritate me?

Negative experience: As you can see this dentist loves to blame the patient and refuses to take ownership for their lack of care. My previous review was more than accurate and to wrongly accuse myself and my daughter for being unable to speak with your staff in a professional manner is outrageous! If I was lying WHY would I go into such detail with my review of your practice?? We ONLY spoke to YOU Dr. cha and we were NEVER disrespectful or unprofessional to your AMAZING (and I mean that your staff knows how to treat your patients and it’s unfortunate you felt the need to throw them into your response to me!) staff!! I stated I did indeed raise my voice in frustration because I was in HORRIBLE PAIN and I am accountable for my actions. You are ONLY stating that because I asked you to accept responsibility for not treating me sooner. I am assuming you have never been asked to do so and that’s why you find it unprofessional and disrespectful. It’s insulting that you would bash myself and my daughter in this way and not own up to your lack of care when I was in NEED of URGENT dental care. We will see what the Dental Board has to say about this. And also, I canceled my appointments a WEEK before you discharged me. There was no need for you to send me that “once again” accusator letter of discharge. It’s a shame when a review is given and instead of just saying, “We are so sorry we could not provide you with the best care possible, please call our office to discuss.” Instead you chose a path that was very unprofessional and disrespectful! People read good and bad reviews to make a decision on whether or not they will trust a business with their care. I hope with all hope you take that into consideration when responding in the future.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding experience beginning to end—from Amy making the new patient booking process easy & informative—to everyone I interacted with during my visit, I can’t say enough good things. Initially, I had to wait a little over one month to get an appointment (which I expected, as a new patient), however they also put me on a wait list in case something opened up—I was able to get in 2 weeks later! It had been a while since I visited the dentist so I was nervous, but my dental hygienist, Cassandra, was incredibly nice, professional and gentle. I’d inquired about Invisalign & whitening prior to my visit and Dr. Lawson & his team thoroughly educated me about my options—without ever feeling like they were giving me a sales pitch—they truly want to help. I’m actually looking forward to going back for my next visit! Highly recommend—my best dentist experience to date! The entire team is fantastic.

Fantastic experience: New dentist, and all went very well, from reception to check-out. Clean office. The staff were all friendly and courteous, and seemed knowledgeable and efficient. Current technology is in use and I felt relatively relaxed throughout.

Negative experience: Horrible painful experience. A couple years ago I went in for a routine checkup and the dentists said I had the start of a cavity, so they scheduled me for a filling appointment. Before this procedure, I had no pain or discomfort whatsoever. During the procedure I felt immense pain when they drilled into me. No dental experience has come close to being this bad. At the time I attributed it to the fact that I hadnt gotten a filling since I was a little kid, however as the days and weeks and even months went on, that horrible pain from the drilling lingered. So I went in to their other location in Williamsville to have it fixed, and I was optimistically told not to worry, as sometimes it takes a few months to fully adjust. That advice was temporarily helpful. Now, still a couple years later, that awful distinct pain has not gone away. Rather a newfound sensitivity to hard foods or hot or cold drinks etc. is there. Horrible nightmare worst experience zero stars I miss Dr. Raczka and Dr. Danna :(
