Fantastic experience: I highly recommend mint dental for any of your dental needs the office is very clean the staff is very courteous these people are great. My first appointment was yesterday in two days I'm getting all of my teeth pulled 14 to be exact and I will be updating this review after that procedure. So far I'm very happy with everybody in that office. 6/5/26 just had all my teeth pulled I'm in the healing process mint dental did everything they could to alleviate my fear of needles they went above and beyond I love these people they can take care of me for the rest of my life.

Update : I Had a lot of teeth removed and this was the best experience The technician modori was so kind so calming and Dr Jenson was very quick and made sure I was completely comfortable and felt nothing , The procedure was done before I knew it !! The staff and doctors at mint dental in independence are absolutely the best you will be in good hands with this office ..The process has gone so smoothly I couldn’t be happier how things have turned out !! Positive experience: I decided on Mint Dental based off of other Google reviews, and I wasn’t disappointed. Friendly staff all around. They were quick and efficient. I’ll be making Mint my home. Edit: my son was a bit scared when we went back for his cavities appointment. The dentist was pretty abrupt with him. He wouldn’t show my son the needle or really answer his questions. He said he wasn’t going to show him. Like myself, my son feels better when he can see and understand beforehand. I was the one to explain about how big the needle was, what exactly he would do with the needle, etc. At one point the dentist said, “he has to put his hands down or he’s out of here.” While I understand that’s definitely a safety concern, my son just needed some explaining and compassionate bedside manner. He wasn’t flailing his arms he just was slightly guarded. Once I explained things he relaxed more and kept his hands on the armrests. For being a pediatric practice, I was surprised at the lack of empathy. Everything went smoothly overall.

Fantastic experience: The dr'.s and staff are awesome and the whole Office is full of great people and kind and the services that they provide are top notch and the time it takes to get you in and out is so fast you are ir will be amazed I bet you will think I pretty much just got here and your done all ready it's so amazing and so nice and kind .I recommend Thier services to any one that wants quality quickness with a great staff they are where it's at so five stars all day from me .

Fantastic experience: As a senior citizen who has had a great deal of dental care throughout my life, I am astounded by Mint Dental staff and dental professionals' patient focus, expertise and kindness. It is refreshing to have conversations outlining options. I left today's evaluation and planning appointment feeling that I am part of the process.

Fantastic experience: Excellent visit with friendly respectful manners, on time with no waiting hardly and she was very careful cleaning my teeth and everything. It did not hurt at all. It was very well done and very nice and clean building as always.

Fantastic experience: They were both professional and friendly. I had an infected tooth and was able to get an immediate appointment.

Negative experience: Did not show compassion or concern when I returned for pain and injury follow up after fillings and pulp cap. Main focus of conversation was dentist telling me they didn’t cause my injuries that I must’ve bit my tongue or lip after being numb. More concerned with releasing themselves from responsibility instead of addressing pain, discomfort and healing. Did not show any type of concern for the level of pain I’m in or how the pain is affecting my ability to eat and talk. I did not return to blame them. I returned for professional advice, and care. Dentist was in a hurry, took one look at my mouth, asserted that it was not due to their injury and said it will heal in 14 days. It was the assistant on the way out that mentioned that I could do saltwater rinses to help with healing. I specifically asked if there’s anything I could take or use to help with pain or healing and was told no. No advice given for what to expect during healing or how to avoid in the future. Again, no compassion shown just a quick hurried check to release themselves from liability so they can be certain they “mark it on the chart”. It’s a shame because I have a large family and wanted all of us to start going here for care. However, I will not return and will tell my friends and family about my experience. My advice is no matter how busy you are, show care and compassion for each patient and be professional and thorough with your advice. We are not numbers or liabilities to be avoided; we are human beings and people with real lives experiences.

Fantastic experience: Since my dentist retired in Lees Summit, I was passed to a dentist who took over his clients in Raytown. I didn't enjoy them because I seemed to have more issues after every visit. Then I found Dr. Jenson with Mint Dental. They got me in quickly when I had a tooth crack, which was right after I finished getting a crown on the tooth right in front of it from the Raytown dentist. I was very impressed with them right off the bat. The dental chairs are super comfortable, and they offer sunglasses for the bright lights (my previous dentists didn't offer them). The front desk staff are always friendly. My hygienist Stacey is awesome and happy-go-lucky, and I enjoy chatting with her. Dr. Samuel is always joking and talking about video games with me. Dr. Jenson is kind and straight to the point. He reminds me of my dentist who retired in Lee's Summit, knowlagable, and experience. Dr. Jenson fixed up my front tooth recently. I was so happy he did that for me because it was bothering since the Raytown dentist "fixed" it over two years ago. Today, we had a little mishap, which was nothing crazy terrible. Was scheduled to get fillings done that were actually already done back in the fall of 2025! I pride myself in being an understanding and patient person instead of being upset or angry, because that never fixes anything. The staff were highly appreciative, and honestly, I feel we had a great laugh about it. Safe to say, I've found my dentist ❤️

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with my dental hygienist, Stacy, and I want to recognize the outstanding care she provided. From the beginning, she was welcoming, professional, and made me feel very comfortable throughout my visit. Stacy was extremely thorough with my cleaning and took her time to make sure everything was done carefully and properly.

Fantastic experience: I apologize for any and all things that someone may have misunderstood my daughter and I have been going to mint Dental for about five years now and my complain was only about the manufacturing lab not mint Dental I am very pleased with them and would like to thank Ms. Carla who contacted me this morning to correct all of my concerns

Negative experience: They lied to me to get me i the door. I called explaining i needed a replacement crown to be put on. I was quoted 300 to 800 for the build up and temp crown. Once I get there it is now 2240.00 and I don't need a root canal??? Huh?? 549 for build up and 1277.00 for porcelain crown and 414.00 For pulp cap resin composite I was informed there was no other material choice just porcelain. I went there instead of regular dentist because they lead me to belive i could afford this. Over the phone I was under the impression that I could pay to have the temporary done with the buildup and they come back once my insurance kicked in to have the actual crown done. Upon paying I found out that I have to pay for that permanent or they won't do a temporary. The whole point was to get me by to my insurance kicked in. My regular dentist said 910.00.. so I waisted my day and 99.00.... Staff was rude.... all the front desk was rude the dentist was wonderful and the dental hygienist was wonderful as well. I wish I could add the Snapchat of me videoing all of the bugs in the room that were landing on me tiny little flying bugs everywhere. Once I complained about it they did actually investigate it like they cared. I can't attest to the type of dental work they do because we didn't get that far........ Update 2 days later.... the office manager reached out and offered me a discount on Services if I would change my review. I was honest in my review and intended to keep it honest. Ended up going to Blue Springs Dentistry saved around $800 and got my permanent Crown today instead of coming back later with the temporary crown on. I should have just stayed with them as they have been my dentist for more than 10 years I was just trying to save some money.

Fantastic experience: I have a great experience with Mint dental every time. Waiting times are never too wild, and walk ins welcome. The people at the front desk are always professional and sweet! Dr. Jensen, Essence and Stacy specifically helped me this time, but I love everyone there!

They remember their patients and are always happy to see everyone. We see Dr Mark Jensen and I couldn’t say enough good things about him. All around great dentist and great at what he does.

Negative experience: Ericka in the head office asked me to adjust my prior review once she told me they were writing off a balance, when they were in fact only writing off after insurance owed. They still billed my insurance!! Half my mouth is done half will have to wait until next year! They are a fraud- their office manager had her adult daughter behind the counter in full view of patient information, clear HIPaA violation! No treatment plan presented prior to treatment! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Carla, the office manager ensures that the front desk team greets a patient with a welcoming smile. In addition, Carla is your "go to" for ANY questions & concerns about your insurance coverage/claims. She is dedicated to 1 thing: ensure that the patient walks away completely satisfied with services rendered! Dr. Jensen is THE BEST dentist! In my 50+ years of dental care, Dr. J. is DEFINITELY at the top of my list! Recommend Mint Dental to friends & family...I have & they expressed the same as I have in this review.

Positive experience: Great experience. I came to them for second opinion and they did amazing job explaining what they saw and what needed to be done. I had my first fillings done today and they were very patient with me and did great. Minor issue with my bottom filler not being shaded enough.

Fantastic experience: This is the absolute best dental experience, all around, that my family and I have ever received!! That is saying something because we have had phenomenal care by two other dentist offices when we lived in a different city. Almost everyone in my whole family has been able to receive care here & so I think we have had experiences with literally everyone that works there and they do such an amazing job at being phenomenal humans as well as doing their job very well! I love that we also don’t have to wait very long for appointments generally though when it comes to some specialties like dental hygienist, then there can be awaiting period which is understandable anywhere. It is absolutely worth it! Though I don’t want them to have so much business that it’s hard for them to be able to get us in, I truly would understand why everyone would want to go there. I am newer to this location and so it’s always really awesome when I meet others that also have the same dental office and they all have raving reviews as well! I probably could’ve done a dozen of these reviews based on the care that was needed for my large family, but they would all basically say what this one is: Excellent care! Excellent service! Clear instructions, very comfortable, and people who are just absolutely fantastic and enjoy working with one another and taking care of the needs of the community with respect and dignity while having fun!

Fantastic experience: I have a huge fear of dentists from past trauma with a couple of dentists. I had to have a tooth removed and decided to try Mint Dental. From the moment I walked in everyone was welcoming. Carla at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Brittany and Midori made me feel comfortable. And Dr Jensen is a rockstar among dentists. I had a second appointment for fillings and was still a little anxious but I did not feel anything even the needle to numb me. Any questions I had they were very willing to answer. I think more dentists and dentist offices should take lessons from this office. I'm so sorry that I didn't find this office a lot sooner than I have.

Fantastic experience: A perfect experience from beginning to end! Unknowingly had made my appointment at the Kansas location instead of the independence, Missouri location. They took care of all of that for me and still had room to see me and then as a bonus I was able to get some of the procedures I needed for fillings done right after my check up! Doctor Jensen is wonderful. He has a soft touch a great sense of humor. He’s quick and makes it painless as possible! I 100% recommend mint, dental and Independence, MO! Being new to Missouri, I didn’t have a recommended dentist and to think I found such a wonderful place just because it looks so darn cute on the outside! Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extraction today. Had as good a time as you can have getting a tooth removed. Dr Jensen was perfect no pain in getting anesthetic or the tooth pull. Samuel the dental assistant is pleasant and calming. Adrianna the billing clerk is sweet as she can be. Carla the office manager was professional and treated me more than fair on pricing.

Before I left the office, I was surprised to have been given a printed report on what my insurance will pay for each dental procedure...a very detailed impressive, informative service re: charges and what my insurance will pay, which I had never received from any of the many prior dental practices I've dealt with over 7 decades! I really look forward to interacting with the Mint top notch staff...I could not have expected a better initial experience and feel fortunate to have found this practice. My son is a patient at a different Mint office and has been extremely pleased with the services he has received there by Dr. Yang and staff.

Fantastic experience: I totally forgot the Dr's and assistant name but they deserve a raise. They took care of me and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Getting dentures and had 21 teeth extracted and they worked like they been doing it for years. I recommend this office to anyone. I wish I could remember their name's but I was on gas that just made me laugh the whole time, lol.
