Negative experience: The staff has been really nice. If to do all I've had done again not sure I would have choose them, have had what seems to me several issues and mis communication I feel. They are trying to make all this turn out good but has been alot of trips, and not always easy for me to get appointments. I've still till this day waiting for corporate to get back with me, they do NOT reach out to complaints, I've also ask back then for the office to have corporate contact me. Again I say do not use them, I still have several issues with their work, and didn't get the out come that they told me I would have . I have been trying to reach out but the number provided does not work Please reach out to me by phone or how ever you can , please. I'm not really happy with any of this. Thank you And I forgot to add if you want your insurance estimate to be way off (like up to thousands of dollars) then yes you might like them, my services have cost me WAY more than they told me, and I'm not even happy with services, still have a lot of issues with there work, I will repeat a really bad experience all around

Negative experience: So, I went in needing 2 crowns. I ended up having a tooth pulled and got a double crown that was one piece but covered to spots. I had to return 5-6 times to have it put back on. The last time dentist put it on, I was put on crooked. So now, I have a broken at the gum tooth and no tooth in the front of my mouth. I was told the finance people would call me back with a game plan. It has now been a week with these 2 missing teeth. IN THE FRONT!! I have tried for 3 days to call the office to get some answers...nobody will answer the phone. They want to charge me for the root canal and post! My tooth broke because crown was crooked. I honestly just need to get this fixed. I have exposed nerve and cannot eat. Please help!!! This has been going on for a year now. I just want my teeth back.

Fantastic experience: They are reasonably priced if you have no insurance and the nurse Jane was amazing, she was honest and very friendly. She gave ample reassurance with our anxiety and her and the Dr. Worked quick and efficient. So happy with this place. We choose this building and these specialists personally. Not just Aspen dental. Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic first visit at this office. Not only did every staff with whom I interacted hit 10 out of 10 in every possible metric, but I went into my visit with intense anxiety about beginning the process of dental treatment, however Dr. Benton and every other staff went above & beyond to alleviate my anxieties. Up to the point of being called back from the lobby I had been filled with great dread about visiting a dentist, but my experience today had me leaving this office feeling much better about the work that needs to be done than I ever have in the past. Thank you Makiah, Jen, Lexi, Ashley, and Dr. Benton. I'm glad to say that I'll be returning to this office because of their kindness and dedication to their work.

Fantastic experience: I walked in and was so incredibly self conscious about not being able to wear my dentures because they had cracked everyone there made me feel at home and everything they could to get me affordable pricing so I could walk out with a repaired denture today. I am incredibly grateful for that. Staff is amazing.

Negative experience: My experience here was extremely disappointing. They did not use my insurance appropriately. Then billed me for a charge they didn’t a service on. The receptionist was extremely disorganized and untrained although if you don’t have good management how can you be trained effectively? They also upcharged me on my first cleaning with fees and items I didn’t need and could not say no to! As it was apart of the service they didn’t tell me about. All I wanted was a cleaning my insurance pays for then they didn’t even use that so I was charged. The hygienist was kind and same as the DR. However the other employees were not friendly. I would also hear them talking about patients when they thought no one was listening. Violating HIPPA. Dysfunctional, unorganized and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Aspen Dental (this office in particular) has a wonderful and caring team. Ashlie and Brandi are amazing and helped me make sure that we found a solution to breaking down my treatment plan into chunks that would fit my financial needs. Seriously, we sat there for 45 minutes or so navigating an insurance mishap and setting up financing. I know that medical and dental isn’t cheap and in a perfect world we could all afford it. This office didn’t make me feel like a wallet and an Insurance card holder. They make me feel cared for. At least come in for a consultation. If you have insurance it’s definitely worth the copay to give them a shot.

Fantastic experience: After a really poor experience at another office I was sent to this location. The ladies were kind and the doctor was efficient. He explained everything he was doing and I was in and out of there in 30 minutes.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff there were really nice. They took X-rays of all my teeth and gave me a full understanding of what I needed. They were very thorough. I trust them. The estimate I was given for all services was very reasonable. Not to mention, payment plans are available. I have a new dentist. I'm 55 yrs old and I want to keep my teeth. I highly recommend these folks on Bolger Dr. in Independence.

Fantastic experience: This is a nice crew, I felt like a person and not a dollar sign. I certainly hope this office keeps the people they have now. The ladies who were there when I got my denture were flat out rude! I needed a minor adjustment for my new denture. They tried to make me an appointment the following week. This time I feel like a person.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extraction done at this location, everyone was very nice and the guy doing the extraction properly numbed my gums and had yanked my infected tooth out before I even knew he had a good grip on it. If I were to need my other broken tooth extracted (had 2, only pulled the infected/painful tooth), this is the place I'll be going. Thank you all for the great service. I mentioned the numbing bc when I was 10-13 years old I had baby teeth pulled, it was NOT this "pleasant". This time, I didn't even feel the pressure he was warning me about when pulling the tooth.

Negative experience: Don’t ever go here. Horrible customer service. Had to wait forever at several appointments. Everything I got done there the misquoted the amount. They billed my insurance two weeks ago for an appointment that I didn’t attend. I’m not sure if it’s Aspen Dental in general but this location is horrible!

Fantastic experience: Quick appointment after I lost a tooth from my very old dentures. 15 years old! Aspen Dental had made my dentures and they were the best fit from the first time I used them. They today said my dentures were still in very good shape! I highly recommend them as that is basically what they do I think. My brother just got new upper and a partial and he had to have them redone as he could not accept them because of a very poor fit. Dentist office did them like my first ones. They were awful. Negative experience: Went in for a broken tooth. They did the whole nine. Whatever I needed a new dentist. Thought this was the place boy was I wrong. Did my exam and my cleaning then got a print out for 10,000 with no breakdown. Finally told her my biggest concern! Got a price for that set up an appointment to come back. Went back and waited over an hour and a half all for them to tell me that they couldn’t do the procedure all to find out the tooth they quoted me on was the wrong tooth. They asked me if I could stay absolutely not. I will NEVER EVER use them. Very unprofessional and unorganized. The financing lady seems like she scams people for a living! She definitely doesn’t give you a breakdown of what they are charging you for unless you ask! Please if you do decide to use them stay on your toes otherwise they will get you!

Negative experience: Third time rescheduled new patient. Asked me to change my appointment time by three hours. I complied and got there at 11am. Waited 45 minutes in the waiting room. Got x rays. Waited 20 more minutes for anybody to come into the room and no one did. So I left. New patient? Not here.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time coming to Aspen dental. I’ve always had anxiety with dentists. The independence location staff were all very friendly, professional, and quick. I had a tooth that needed to come out and the Dr made time for me to get it out that day at the appointment. He answered all my questions and helped me feel as comfortably as possible. I do recommend them, especially if you are like me and nervous about dentists.

Negative experience: I was there for a repair on my dentures as was another woman. After being skipped over in the order patients were to be seen. When the repairs were finally done I was given the other ladies dentures and she was given mine. Luckily we tried them on there, but how unsanitary is this. Hopefully neither of us is sick with anything. Very careless and unprofessional

Negative experience: Website says it takes my specific insurance i leave early from work show up to my appointment and they tell me they dont accept blue cross that's after they tried to get me to reschedule 2 minutes before my appointment and when I showed up at my appointment at the scheduled time the lady at the front desk was visibly annoyed huffing and puffing

Negative experience: Set my appointment up over 2 weeks ago. Told them exactly what kind of insurance I had. Explained that I had multiple broken teeth that were causing me discomfort. Waited the full 2 weeks for the appointment, took a day off work, to show up, and had them tell me the moment she looked at my insurance card that they don't accept that insurance. Why wouldn't you tell someone, maybe, when they set the appointment up? Thanks for the time wasted and the continued pain. Go somewhere else and save yourself the headache of dealing with this incompetent company.

Negative experience: Went to have cleaning and more done. I was told I was covered under my dental plan upon arrival. Did the xrays, checkup and more and was waiting for a date to get the work done. Was called to the $ person to go over costs. I didnt care as it was covered supposedly. Suddenly I'm hit with a 3k estimate as they now say they don't accept my insurance lol. Total waste of my time as I have better things to do than hang out in a dentist office. Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: Terrible place to go. They say they offer emergency care but I went in with a broke tooth that was causing pain and they did nothing. They tell me to call them and I call 6 times and no one will answer the phone unless I call corporate and have them transfer me to someone directly. They tried saying with double insurance it’s more expensive than having 1 insurance which was not the case at any other dental place. They also asked if they could call me back on Friday and then just ended up leaving for the day instead and just called me today which again I can’t get anyone on the phone. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: I had a very painful wisdom tooth I needed taken out. The staff at the Bolger drive location were so warm and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Fantastic experience: I have deep broken wisdom tooth an I've been to two oral surgeons tthat refers me to a different one to two different dentists to refer me to someone else so finally I look up Aspen and give that a try and finally my teeth will be taken care of. The team today were great. They actually explained to me what I have going on and was very thorough with the details and I so so appreciate that!! And the payment plans so affordable. Fantastic experience: After the nightmare of dealing with my husband and dentures my hopes were not high. This was my first appointment and I believe it went very well. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I actually went in for a consult and they made time to clean my teeth also. I hope future appointments go as well.

Negative experience: I had a standard crown about a year ago. I received a call from a collection agency. Talking with my dental Ins,this claim was coded wrong & a partial denial. The claim was not corrected,I never received a statement of balance,but sent to a collection. I received a call & thought I paid it. I called needing an appointment & was told I had a balance & would not be seen until paid. Talking with the collection agency,my card wouldn't go through from a year ago. No return call on the card not working. I paid the balance & called the office for the appointment. I was told they couldn't schedule me until I talked with the manager. I left two messages & still no return call. I will not do business with these people,they are unprofessional. I worked Ins & collections for a living & I know how this works. The denial should have been worked & resubmitted for payment,billing should have mailed a statement & they are paying a collection agency that is not doing their job. Think long & hard before going to this office.

Fantastic experience: I called at 1000 at night, had an appt the next day at 8am. That was amazing! The people were all great, the whole experience was great! I will be back to get the full treatment done, it was a lot cheaper than I thought it would be. Overall a good experience.

Negative experience: Very very bad experience. They don’t communicate well and they are not all on the same page. The call center provides incorrect information. I went to my appt and was almost denied service because the call center provided incorrect information to my insurance provider. I was there for 3 hours and nothing was complete but a consultation. I was offered a prescription for the pain but the prescription was never put it. I was at Walgreens for no reason because they never sent my prescription. I went to Meyers Dental off 53rd and Prospect. My tooth was removed immediately for $100! I love them forever and I will not be attending Aspen Dental. They are not for the people . Wanted to schedule me with 2 other services just for a payout. Never again

Negative experience: Over all the dental X-ray lady front desk lady and dental hygienist lady sweet ladies… but that lady that takes u in the room for scheduling she seemed cocky n preppy acting which especially wen discussing financial and dental issues just makes it more awkward making u feel like yr just annoying. then tries to pressure into signing up for the financing even after you state you don’t want to do it and cannot afford any extra expenses monthly due to bills n don’t want your credit being ran either as she ignores it looking at u like ur dumb n insists it’s not a big deal only 40 to 80 a month then wen u hand her back the tablet saying you don’t wanna continue it’s not gonna be something you can do once again looks at you like your dumb and says ok well exit is to the right n goes back in her office… I work customer service normally don’t leave bad reviews but something about her vibe I didn’t like. There are ways to be kind listen and take peoples concerns with a better vibe… I get her job is to push clients but with that demeanor it’s the total opposite. And nor was I comfortable with being push to filled out a financing application after I stated I didn’t wanna do it and didn’t want any integrities on my credit report. Also can I mention she tried to make me feel like I didn’t pay as well asking what was the last 4 digits of my card I used Apple Pay n showed her my bank statements of the payment taken from my account but she was saying the last 4 of my card didn’t match any transactions she had today. I said well had to pay upfront to even receive treatment so she called the front desk lady asking did I pay like I didn’t just show her my account and transcript that clearly said aspen dental on it which once again wouldn’t of been a big deal but I just felt she wasn’t the nicest n didn’t seem to wanna explain things or listen to my concerns just straight pushing scheduling and financing when I didn’t want neither of them

Negative experience: The staff was awesome but…….Don’t Do the Care Credit it’s not worth it. I was approved and due to rescheduling and my work schedule I haven’t been back. I Never got to use the card nor the credit and I kept being charged with a huge interest fee. Now it’s set to creditors on top of that starting they’re going to send it to an attorney. All this over something I never got to use. It’s not work it .

Negative experience: My appointment was at 1:00 and I left my appointment at 2:40. I waited 15 minutes in a room for a treatment plan and no one came so I left… I was told to be there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and I wasn’t brought back until 1:20. I have never been to a dentist and was there for two hours and never had any treatment or a treatment plan. I will not be going back. Don’t waste your time go to a local dentist not a chain

Negative experience: I heard some pretty bad things about this dental place. They give you electric toothbrushes, mouthwash etc under the impression that’s it’s complementary after your appointment then they bill you massively! When you try to return it, after you been tricked, they refuse the return. So sad. Ask questions before making an appointment with this place please.
Positive experience: I went here today for a new patient appointment and second opinion. Everyone on staff including Emily and the dentist were great and I acknowledge there were some people who were out sick but I was there for almost 2 hours which is unacceptable seeing how I only got an exam and x-rays. I should’ve been there at most an hour.

Positive experience: Well, first off, my appointment was at 8 am. I received a phone call the day before from the office confirming the appointment. When I arrived, they didn’t open til 9. When I asked why, they told me that’s when the dr comes in. So, strike 1. Honestly, the nurses were the ONLY reason I gave them 3 stars. Those girls are so sweet and kind. Now, on to the dr. Firstly off, I wasn’t the easiest patient because I am absolutely terrified of getting extractions and I had 2. I first one went ok. But because of my anxiety, he sent me in a script for Val and had me come back for the second extraction. During the extraction I tried to tell him several times the numbing injection wasn’t fully working so I was in extreme pain, causing me to move A LOT. He forcefully grabbed me by my head and move it 2x. Mind you, I’m hurting and he’s not listening. I started bawling because I felt the extraction. When it was over, he slammed down his tools and walked out. He then came back in and gave me an epidural AFTER it was over. If it wasn’t for the girls in the office, I wouldn’t have made it. This experience is exactly why I’m terrified of the dentist. If you are looking for a dental cleaning, This is a good spot, but if you are looking for extractions, I would absolutely not recommend this place.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE! The NEW receptionist treated my blind friend like trash! The manager backed up through receptionist and her inappropriate behavior. Patients here are apparently not the top priority!!! What is the world coming to when it is acceptable behavior to treat a blind handicapped lady like trash? UNACCEPTABLE!
