Negative experience: Initially, I believed they were a caring dental practice, but during my last treatment, they disregarded my concerns and failed to address the issue that prompted my visit. They neither discussed a payment plan nor provided a referral elsewhere. It appears their priority is profit over patient care and well-being, making them the worst dentist I've encountered.

Negative experience: My husband had his tooth extracted and the doctor gave him 5 injections of novacaine which is crazy and put gauze over the hole.she didn't give extra gauze for the ride home and it was a mess.

Negative experience: The dentist butchered me took out half my tooth the other half of my tooth is so lose. I am in more pain than when I went in, now I have to go to another dentist to go back on that tooth and pull and cut some more.

Each visit is getting closer to my goal. I can’t wait till my next appointment with them. They gave me a dental plan and are helping me along the way with each step to achieve my goal smile. They talk to you so nice and pleasant. Very down to earth bump professional they are down to earth making you feel like you matter that is hard to find in the times we are living in. I truly just love this place and so glad I found them God is good !

Fantastic experience: We are new to the area and found FFD. My husband and I had a GREAT experience with them. The atmosphere was chill. The staff was welcoming and very professional. This was just the front staff. When we got the back, more awesomeness. My Hygienist Brittany was very professional. I told her I was apprehensive, she was very gentle and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Then I saw the Dentist. She was so kind. Very professional and knowledgeable. I felt so comfortable in this environment and knew my husband and I found the right place. By the way, my husband had a great experience as well. We highly recommend you giving this office a try. Fantastic experience: 2 months I suffered with extreme pain. One dentist office gave me the run around for an entire two months. I called Fayetteville Family Dental and they had me feeling better than I have in two months in less than 24 hours. I am truly grateful for the compassion and treatment I received. They will forever be my family's go to for anything Dental.

Fantastic experience: I was called quickly and didn't have to wait long which is good. After my teeth were clean, the dentist told me I was good to go and had no cavities. Overall the appointment went well and it only took less than one hour.

Fantastic experience: All I know is this place saved my day and my baby's. My daughter had an apt with Day & Night dental.... which by the way came thru in a clutch to give her the apt, however after getting to the apt and receiving a text to confirm I'm coming to only get there to find out their system was down until this coming Friday (2 days away)!!!!! Needless to say I had to find immediate attention for my daughter. After riding around and few calls later I ended up here at smile starters. I was informed that they don't take walk in's but they took me. The young lady at the front desk almost made me cry with her gestures of kindness. I do mean every single staff person I encountered was a blessing and super kind! We go back today to finish the apt and I'm at ease for my daughter's apt. I recommend this place 5x over! May the staff stay blessed as they work to deal with the public and while remaining kind yet professional !

Fantastic experience: 2 time here at this dentist. A very welcoming group of people. My hygienist was a very kind young lady and explain things as we went. The dentist explain things at the end and I felt very comfortable in their facility.

Negative experience: The teeth cleaning portion was excellent. I don’t want to have my teeth pulled and I certainly will not go to Sanford to have it done. I guess I will have to look for another dentist. But I will give you time to respond to this feedback. Also 7100 dollars is insane who has that kind of money and that’s after applied insurance.

Negative experience: The front staff is great. The young asian woman who is one of the dental Dr's, who did my fillings and dental work, the fillings were done badly with gaps under the surface that globs of food gets stuck in, i went back and had them fix it and i left qith it still messed up, they did other fillings and messed them up so badly that I am now constantly in pain, when I went to them they said give it time or get it pulled and didnt look at the tooth I indicated was giving me issue. I left that office with a sheet of paper they handed me that had other dental offices that accept medicaid and half them wont pick up, and the other are typos that fayetteville family dental made, effectively rendering the whole paper a wasted effort since they wont keep up with editing them or making sure the information is reliable. They also normally ask me if I am okay with having a dental student present if their help that time is a dental student, but the one time they didnt ask, I had to find out, was when they did the fillings that are now causing me severe daily issues. They are untrustworthy and lack integrity as dental dr's unfortunately. Theyre interested in cranking out badly done fillings.

Negative experience: As a dental office manager myself, I had scheduled my daughters for appointments on December 31, 2025, at 1:30 PM to ensure they received care before their benefits expired. I was disappointed when I was called to have the appointments canceled and offered times the following day, which, as a single mother with a demanding job, is not feasible for me. Additionally, I was offered appointments that were not simultaneous—one at 8:00 AM and one in the afternoon—making it even more inconvenient. I understand that the end of the year can be busy, but I believe it is important for offices to make reasonable accommodations for patients trying to utilize their benefits before they expire. Due to this situation, I will be taking my children to another dental practice. I hope this feedback is helpful for future scheduling considerations.

Negative experience: Fayetteville Family Dental was one of the most unprofessional offices I’ve ever dealt with. The doctor, I believe Dr. zhu was downright rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping me. The staff felt unprofessional especially Kristen and how I heard her talk to her staff and patients. Honestly, based on my experience, some of the staff needs to be replaced. I left feeling shocked at how poorly I was treated. EXTREMELY unprofessional and uncomfortable environment.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place! It's my 2nd time going after having some bad experiences at a very popular other dentist office that I had been going to for years....the front seat staff are smiling and kind as soon as you walk in. They are informative and very thorough with cleanings. I'm glad I stumbled across this place and actually enjoy my 6 month cleanings not dread them!

Fantastic experience: Brittany the hygienist was amazing with both our sons. One of them is extremely scared and wants to know your every move, she took the time to explain. Our other son is autistic and asks a lot of questions and she was amazing answering them and also very patient with him. 2 years later and my whole family goes here!

Fantastic experience: For being heavy tattooed I can admit I’m scared of the dentist everything about it makes me nervous but the staff at this location made me feel comfortable they are nice and the whole dentist experience for me was a 10/10

Negative experience: Overall happy with the dental treatment I have here. Brittany is amazing! But the front desk worker who confirms calls needs further training in customer service, care, management, and overall friendliness. I confirmed my appointment only to have her call a third time claiming* that their was a time conflict. Then at exactly 8:01 (my appointment was at 8am) she harassed me again to confirm and then said they don’t have a grace period. I have never been anywhere where they don’t give you a fifteen minute grace period. Not to mention I have called before and this was never the case. I literally came in the door at 8:05!!! That is insanity to me, and I don’t appreciate the hassle.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but fantastic things to say about this office. the first time we came here it was the first time my daughters had been to see a dentist. Brittany was so kind, patient, and made both of my girls feel less nervous about getting their teeth cleaned! the second time it was for my son and i. I am unsure who cleaned my son's teeth but he felt the same way and is super excited to come back the next time! really outing myself here but I have not been to the dentist on 15+ years :/ I was incredibly nervous and also embarrassed but Futoria was AMAZING. I mean truly I could rave about her for days. getting assigned to her was the biggest blessing. she took all my nerves away, explained the process so I knew what was happening, and had me laughing! by the end of it I claimed her as my bestie. lol. We love love love Fayetteville Family Dental and cannot thank y'all enough for having the best staff ever, from the receptionist to the doctors!

Fantastic experience: I decided to try FFD after a terrible experience at another dentist in town. The hygiene assistant (I’m sorry I can't remember your name) did a great job and listened to all my concerns, which she shared with Dr. Oh. Dr. Oh answered all my questions, was professional, and was a joy to talk to. The process was easy and efficient. I will continue to go there.

Positive experience: Futoria I think was her name? She was very passive aggressive uninformative and treated me as I was annoying her? I was nice and even had to ask her how she was doing because it felt tense when I walked in and even after that she barely responded so I’m not sure what that was all about but I actually Pride in, bring a new patient there and telling them To join my dentist because I’ve always had a lovely great experience up until yesterday Every single time I’ve come there I have had nothing less than excellent service. She was the first time I have ever had bad experiences my two children, their dad, my niece, and few other of my family members attend this place As well as myself, and I have always loved it and talked highly of it up until yesterday upon checking out I requested that I never have her In the future, so hopefully that will help and hopefully this survey helps as well and I typically never do these, but I hope you guys would Evaluate and improve if she was having a bad day, I understand, but in that case, I should have never experienced it. I forgive her and I hold nothing against her. I just would rather not have to deal with that kind of spirit.

My hygienist is wonderful and made it easy to talk especially with my sensitive teeth issues understanding my constant squinting causing splatter. Overall from beginning to end Great. I even tried to do a FB shout out. I like to keep the same hygienist especially when theyre good and reduces the repetitiveness explaining medical hx in depth again. Fantastic experience: They answered all my question and made me feel comfortable and like a family member, not a stranger.

Negative experience: I went in to get 2 cavities filled. I told the front desk about my needle anxiety and told them to make a note in the chart about being patient and gentle. On the day of the appointment, I told the tech and Dr that I have needle anxiety and that I need the numbing gel. The tech wiped the numbing gel on on my gum and then the dr immediately went in with the needle. I dont even think it had time to numb anything. I feel like Dr Zhu was rough with the needle and it hurt so bad, I yanked her arm out of my mouth and started shaking and crying. I feel like she got mad that I yanked her arm away and was not sympathetic at all and simply said she was gonna refer me out to another dentist to be sedated. After I left, I had chest pain momentarily and then pain in my temples in my head. 2 days later I still have pain in my temples and I'm almost positive it was from this horrible dental experience and is a result of nerve sensitivity from her not being gentle with the needle. I would highly NOT recommend her to anyone ever!!!

Dr.Amy Oh(I do believe that’s her name) Definitely put me at ease she set me up for a return appointment and this was my 1st time also stated we can look into other options concerning my teeth! Fantastic experience: UPDATE: 7/31/25 - My regular hygienist, Christins, is super because she is pleasant, personable, thorough, explains what she is doing and why, gentle and good at her job. The front desk staff are pleasant and very helpful. The doctor is pleasant. UPDATE: 7/16/24-Great hygienist! So pleasant and personable! The new Dr. O was very thorough and personable! Gave me lots of tips for keeping my teeth healthy. Update: 7/11/23 - Front desk staff could use a smile and kindness when dealing with customers due to delays in the scheduling for the day. New office, new staff! Same great service and care! I’m glad you came to Fayetteville!

Fantastic experience: My dental exam and cleaning were excellent. However, the paper referral that they gave to me for a different facility is not accepted there. The oral surgeon office that they recommended only takes a referral from the dentist and now I need to go back and redo the paperwork so that they will send a referral and not hand it to me. This is frustrating. I expected the office staff to have a better understanding of the referral process.

Negative experience: Came in last year for a cleaning and check-up. The visit went great until the dentist told me I had a whopping 10+ cavities! I left that day with an extensive care plan and a lot more $$ spent than planned. Over the next few weeks I had a 4 filled, but felt deep down that something was not right— especially after I had to go back multiple times due to one of the fillings needing fixed. Long story short, I ended up going to a new dentist who confirmed that I do not have any cavities currently! Although I can’t say for the few filled before I switched, I definitely did not have 10+ cavities total to begin with. I’m usually not one to post reviews like this, but I want others to be aware that this happened to me.

Fantastic experience: My lifetime Dentist passed away a few years ago. Tried several clinics since then, but none ever compared. Recently made appointment with Fayetteville Family Dental. What a pleasant afternoon. Clean, friendly, and professional. The hygienist (Christina), was the best. I have found my new Dental care "home".

Positive experience: My dental journey hasn't always been a good one. I was traumatized as a child and that moment is always with me. Today I had a heavy-handed hygienist. To the point I had to ask her to stop and reschedule with someone else. If someone tells you that they're in pain. You should listen to them. However letting them know I was in pain seem to ruffle some feathers. I was asked to go somewhere else for service. Before today I had nothing but rave reviews. Fantastic experience: I’m a new patient to this practice & just finished up my cleaning appointment with my hygienist, Christina, who was beyond thorough & an absolute delight! I came in for today’s cleaning after having a depressive episode where I severely neglected my oral hygiene. I’m also a former dental assistant, so my embarrassment was ten fold as I know and understand how important dental health is in my overall health. Despite the embarrassment, Christina didn’t make me feel bad or judged for a single second. In fact, she was so relatable and just had this calming ease about her that really helped to erase any remaining anxiety/embarrassment. My overall experience from the front desk staff, to my hygienist Christina, to the Doctor that developed my treatment plan, everyone in this office exceeded my expectations & went beyond in meeting my high standards. If you’re in search of a dental provider for you and your family, look no further! They accept most insurance, including Medicaid. Thank you for your kindness Christina and for doing a phenomenal job getting my teeth “squeaky clean”…Literally lol!

Positive experience: It went well except the dental hygienist was not too friendly, she even snapped at me because I needed to get the water out of my mouth before I choked and she yell d at me to wait until her hands were out to f my mouth?!?! I replied to her that I as about ti choke and I couldn’t help it!!!

Negative experience: Robbery…I spent 300 dollars and got back 111 dollars and all they did was look in my mouth because my blood pressure was high. I spent 70 dollars for them to tell me I have cavities and I honestly don’t know where the rest of the money went. I recommend if u don’t have a good insurance do not go here

Fantastic experience: Awesome. My appointment was 8:30a got there at 8:28a sign it. Got called in. X-ray. Spoke about their finding explained it. I ask question they answer with no rush. Explain the cost. I was treated with respect.

Negative experience: I don't think I am coming back and I never seen a person who looks in your mouth and act like she don't want to touch your mouth from what I felt when I went there my question didn't get answer so for me it was a waste of time something kept telling me not to go here and I went anyway
