Fantastic experience: Today I had two teeth extracted, as it was my first time here I was so nervous, but my dental assistant made sure I felt comfortable, relaxed, and was SO kind, She even held my hand while I was being numbed and made sure my experience was the best it could possibly be. I also had another kind dental assistant bring me a stress relief ball because she knew my anxiety was high. The doctor who extracted my teeth was great as well he made sure I was okay during the procedure and made sure I was aware of what was happening the whole way through! Very great staff Very great office!

Negative experience: I was highly disappointed with this visit as I checked out the lady at reception area stated that I had canceled twice so from now on I must call and make my own schedule. I have been going to this establishment over 5 years and I have only canceled twice. I understand the rules but this ridiculous. The drive is 30 minutes from my home and I don't complain. I may relocate to another dentist office.

They made it happen, as soon as we walked in and nothing but smiles and greetings. From the front of the office to the back every staff member had a smile and treated us with kindness. Negative experience: Positives: Received a good diagnosis. My dental assistant was warm and pleasant. The cleaning was average, but acceptable. Negatives: The second dental assistant who was monitoring the screen came in didn’t say a word to me did not introduce herself and continuously talked to the first assistance as if I didn’t exist. She finally spoke to me because she had to take my blood pressure and she just let me know it was high. She continued this throughout my appointment. When the Dentist finally came in it got worse. I felt rushed and dismissed when asking questions regarding my diagnosis and treatment plan. Overall if it wasn’t for the first dental Assitant who did my cleaning it would be a 1. She did great, but my overall experience was not good.

Fantastic experience: Karen was super friendly and addressed all my concerns.

Negative experience: I was asked to come back for a touchup on a chip from the corner of a front tooth. After waiting almost an hour past my appointment, the assistant, at the dentist direction, insisted I have my mouth numbed for this. I did not have to have my mouth numbed when i initially had the chip filled in a few years ago and there was no reason to have it done this time either. That is other then the fact it was something that could be billed for. If i had followed through it would have taken me past my clock in time for work. Quite ironic that if I showed for an appointment almost and hour late they would have refused to see me but had no issue disrespecting my time.

Positive experience: Although they provide good service and the staff is friendly they have decreased the quality of the service I no longer get fluoride after cleanings and the cleanings seems to be rushed.

Fantastic experience: People often hold a lot of shame surrounding their oral hygiene. Particularly I had a lot of anxiety due to being an adult in my thirties and never having had a cleaning. I regularly brush and floss but due to the fear of the unknown I have put off going into the dentist to be evaluated. I finally took the leap and I feel blessed to have been seen at Baywood. My hygienist Marilyn had evidently looked into my medical history to prepare for my visit and took great care to tailor accommodations for my high dental anxiety and Autism. When I confessed that I had never had a cleaning, Marilyn instantly took the prompt and explained everything to me prior to taking each action. This level of care and kindness is exactly what makes a difference in patients receiving and continuing care. She also went out of her way to reassure me that I had nothing to feel ashamed about and in fact mentioned I took great care of my teeth and gums. She also made sure to explain the average expectations and measures of healthy oral care which was helpful as a guide at which to measure my current and future oral hygiene maintenance. A very terrifying experience was not just made manageable but made comfortable and now has increased my eagerness to take pride in my health.

Negative experience: When I went to get my cavity filled they numbed the wrong side of my mouth with the gel, and then stuck a needle in my gum, raw. I went to go floss a month after and my teeth hurt. The filling cracked because I flossed it a little weird.

Positive experience: Overall, my visit was okay. There are some new staff members still learning the ropes, which led to a few delays and issues verifying my dental insurance. That caused my blood pressure to spike a bit from the stress. However, the team remained polite and tried their best to help. I understand new staff need time to adjust, and I appreciate their efforts. Hoping for a smoother experience next time.

Negative experience: My experience here was not good . Had a crown made here not even 2 years ago and it came out after eating a soft shrimp. Went back to baywood to see if I could simply get it put back in... they did...but not without me paying almost 400 dollars first!!!! For a crown that they made smh!!! Never again

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this place enough. They were super quick to get me in, and every single interaction I had with the staff was beyond positive. EVERYONE was SO incredibly nice. I hadn’t been to a dentist in 15 years and was honestly terrified, but everyone was so easy going it really put my mind at ease. Marilyn did my cleaning today, and she was so so sweet and so patient with me. She explained everything she was doing, and in general just had such a calming presence. I’ll recommend to everyone to come here!

Negative experience: The office called to asked me to come in early my appointment was 4:30pm. I get to office at 4:06pm when I came in the lady told me my insurance was no action.. Few minutes late about 30 minutes the lady from the back office told me that they made a mistake. I was asked to come early and still waiting until 4:30pm what the point coming early. I was not happy with the time wasted.
