Negative experience: When you first walk into Dr. Frankel Dentistry, you’re greeted with warm smiles, polished branding, and what appears to be a modern, patient-focused practice. Unfortunately, what lies beneath the surface is a troubling cycle of incompetence that ultimately forces you to rely on Dr. Frankel himself—a situation that feels less like patient care and more like a carefully orchestrated sales funnel. The dentists Dr. Frankel hires to perform procedures often fall short. Whether it’s rushed work, misdiagnoses, or poor technical execution, the likelihood of needing corrective care seems uncomfortably high. The disturbing part? It seems that this failure isn’t necessarily accidental. The only reliable path to getting things actually fixed is when Dr. Frankel personally steps in. When that happens, the care improves significantly—almost like magic. But why should the bar for competent care only be met when the namesake dentist intervenes? It’s hard to shake the feeling that this might be by design: build trust, disappoint with subpar work, then swoop in personally to “save” the patient and restore confidence in the practice. Whether intentional or not, the pattern is consistent and unsettling. To be clear, Dr. Frankel himself is highly skilled and capable. When he’s involved, things get done right. But in a well-run practice, patients shouldn’t have to fail through other providers to finally earn his attention. If you’re considering this office, know that you may not get the level of care you’re expecting unless you’re persistent—or unless Dr. Frankel decides to make you his personal case. That’s a gamble you shouldn’t have to take with your dental health

Negative experience: 4 years ago I had a root canal done on my lower left side of my mouth. I had to have a crown made and had to keep a “cap” on my tooth for a couple weeks until I went back to get my real crown put on. In these couple weeks, I experienced a lot of pain on the tooth i just had a root canal on. When I came to get my crown put on, I made SURE to speak on the pain I was having in my tooth that i just had a ROOT CANAL done on and shouldn’t have ANY feeling in. My feelings were dismissed and I was told that I shouldn’t be able to feel anything because i had a root canal and that I was fine. These past four years i’ve had reoccurring pain in that tooth constantly and the last few days it became UNBEARABLE. I finally got into the dentist this morning had had to have my tooth fully extracted because there was a giant crack in the piece of tooth they left down in my gums during my root canal. If they would have caught this 4 years ago when I initially complained about still having pain in that tooth, I wouldn't be in this situation. I wouldn’t have been in such bad pain that i haven’t been able to sleep in 3 days. There patient quality care has gone down tremendously. I used to love going here and felt so comfortable with my dentist, now it seems like they’re constantly shuffling through new dentists which is a bad sign IMO. I will NEVER be back to this establishment.

Positive experience: The doctor and nurse excellent but the accountant and check out staff so rude and indifferent I went to Frankel years ago even went to his father but with new office higher prices and it seemed like they kept finding more charges after I would pay and pay I finally kept asking this is it right then low and behold I get a bill so I stopped going after 20 I went back and same problem worked out price after working with my insurance I was finished right yes now 2 months later I received a called from said office we want to close our books out and your insurance did pay full price you OWE US MORE MONEY 162.00 more who’s faults is this not mind and please don’t blame my insurance beware of hidden charges wish old dad was still with us time to find new dentist

Negative experience: The dentist told a mother of two small children she needs to floss more and she looks tired.

Fantastic experience: There is a reason why this dentistry wins best of Toledo every year. They received my 2025 vote and I can’t wait to vote for them in 2026! I have been to other dentists in the area, and they don’t come close to the professionalism and expertise Dr. Frankel’s office provides. They are the best of the best!

Negative experience: I am floored at the awful attitudes these people have at this office. I came to bring in my nephew and didn’t even get checked in before we decided to go elsewhere. Between the way they talked to me and whatever poor person was on the phone with the assistant, I’m surprised this place is still in business. Pathetic.

Fantastic experience: I came in with an emergency cracked tooth and the team was great. Just thankful to get in right away and get it fixed and not deal a broken tooth for long. Thank you for all you 3 did!

Negative experience: So, attended this appointment and no language facilitator/interpreter present. Second incident out of multiple times that they’ve provided one without issues. 1 star because the patient is a minor, leaving out a deaf mother from being involved in a medical setting.

Positive experience: Today I had a wonderful experience at a dental office! I could not believe from the moment I entered every single employee was friendly! My appointment was at frankel Dentristry and my dentist was Dr. Cooper along with his assistant, Stacey! In all my years going to a dentist in 5 different states I never had a more pleasant experience! Dr. Cooper and Stacey went way above your usual dentist experience. They made me feel so comfortable with their friendly and talk about professional ability they were a 10+++. This is no lie, if you want top notch treatment do yourself a favor and make your next dental experience you will be so glad you called Frankel Dentistry on Talmadge and Laskey Rds.

Negative experience: New patient here, got my cleaning and x-rays, they said i needed a small filling in my very back molar since the old filling looked like it had partially came off. well to begin with getting the filling was already not the best expedience, i had to stop them twice since the doctor kept on pinching my top lip with his tool, made me feel like he had no experience. Next few days i felt a little pain but i though i was just sore from the injection, on day 6 i got the worse pain ever it woke me up from my sleep, The molar right next to where they did the filling (where i have a crown)was hurting so bad. I scheduled a same day appt they did x-rays again and said i needed antibiotics since it was infected, and that it was just a coincident that it wasn't due to the filling he performed, I DO NOT BELIVE THAT so now they are sending me to see a specialist to see if they can save the molar or get it pulled. They are sending me to Riverbend Endodontics at my own cost, my insurance will not cover for that and just the consultation with them is $626 plus $1,910 WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! I do not recommend Dr. Hasan Abbas

Negative experience: I hate the dentist and avoid it so much I tried a leap of faith- because I had a serious issue that I guess I didn’t stress enough while I was there. I made an appointment, to basically make another appointment over a month away- oh! And I have to make another appointment to yet make another appointment then, I basically walked out sat in my car and cried. My last dentist would never let me walk out without fixing the problem.

Fantastic experience: This is why I recommended Dr Hasan Abbas and his assistants at dr Frankel!!!!! Where to start… I have all my dental work done by Dr. Hasan Abbas at dr Frankel on Talmadge and Laskey. He is an amazing Dentist and a great guy. Amazing work on my teeth every time I visit. Dr. Abbas also uses the best assistants. I always feel very welcome and comfortable. The stress goes right out the window when you hit the chair. He’s very upfront and truthful with you! Assistants are too. They also deserve a lot of recognition as well!!! This is an example of how great he is MUST READ THIS. I text him Saturday afternoon 9/27/25 that I just broke my temporary front tooth crown. Mind you I have birthday dinner for my son w my wife in 3 hrs at 5pm. I was worried I wouldn’t attend due to my appearance and able to eat right. He responded with a few questions and a msg saying if you are comfortable with me coming to your house I will try my best to get you to your dinner tonight for your son. Dr.Abbas left the gym, went home got his tools, stopped at Walgreens for supplies and was at my house in less than an hour. Needless to say I was at my son’s birthday dinner by 5!!! I have never been so dang happy in my life. I was also able to attend dinner on Sunday with the whole family for his birthday!! Permanent crown came in 9/29/25 and installed 1 day early after I got off work. Looks perfect! If all that doesn’t explain how AWESOME of a guy he is along with his awesome dentistry work I don’t know what does. I will never forget that experIence and I will thank him the rest of my life!! Thank you so much Dr Abbas.

Fantastic experience: My experience September 10/2025 was patience, compassion, and kindness. The skill set I received was exceptional. I invested in a full set of denture implants years ago. Seriously, Smiling!

Fantastic experience: When my long time dentist Dr. Garber retired, I was referred to Dr. Frankel Dentistry. Of course, I was already familiar with their practice based on the different media they'd utilize for their commercials. Years later, I am very happy to still be a patient of theirs. My hygienists Ashley and Karen are great, do an outstanding job at keeping my teeth and gums looking their best. With every visit, my experience with his group continues to only get better! Fantastic experience: Zak was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to help me out in cancelling and setting up another appointment. Originally I was told there were no appointments open until October. I previously had conversations with 2 other gals, which neither were able to help me. But, Zak knowing how important it is to get your cleanings in a timely manner, spent a lot of time on the phone with me, so that I'd be able to get my cleaning sooner then October. His voice, his overall everything was over the top. He's truly a keeper, thank you again Zak, for all your help. Madison did my cleaning today and I really liked her a lot. She was very professional, super friendly and was very good and thorough at what she was doing. Thank you Madison for being here on Friday to clean my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Dr Frankel is a great dentist. I needed a root canal and a crown. He got it all done in a couple hours. I feel so much better. My dentist in Florida would have taken 5-6 weeks. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Frankel’s. Office.

Negative experience: Not happy with services, particularly when they pulled two healthy teeth to put in an upper partial that looked very bad. Too much metal around the sides and it shows. I am too embarrassed to wear them.

Negative experience: Switched to frankel because my my old dentist retired . First couple visits were amazing and then went down hill fast. Got a root canal done and took months to get the job complete . Went in for a tooth extraction and the dentist couldn’t get me numb because he couldn’t get the needle far back enough . So referred me to a specialist . Missed work a lot for appointments and nothing got accomplished at any appointment I’ve been to recently.

Negative experience: I was new to the area and was looking for a Dentist in the Fall of 2024. My first impression was very good. The people at the desk and hygienist were very nice and efficient. Then the Dentist arrived and everything went south. The Dentist was very rude, telling me over and over that he would give me my charts so I could go elsewhere. I still don't know why this comment was made and I was left very confused. He proceeded to take a personal call in the middle of the appointment. Normally, this wouldn't bother me but given his behavior, it was clear that his patients were not his concern. I took his advice and found a Dentist elsewhere who is amazing. This was the first time in 60 years that I refused to go back to a Doctor or Dentist for unprofessional behavior. To his credit, Dr. Frankel contacted me first thing the next day and offered to work on my teeth himself. First impressions are everything and I decided not to take him up on this offer as this was not the practice for me.

Negative experience: I really thought these people were going to be a good dentist. Although there were signs from the beginning. However after my insurance maxed out they decided after me paying 7,000 out of pocket that they were going to continue to add random fees. I’m not sure if this dentist is broke or what but they only care about money! It’s disgusting! They even went as far to tell me they did me a favor by giving me in network costs. Do better!

Positive experience: Was able to get in fast, unfortunately after 10 seconds of looking at me I got a referral to a surgeon and was told they couldn't do anything for my wisdom tooth with the consideration that i am pregnant. Which is fine. The kicker though is that within just a few minutes at a different dentist they found i had a cavity in the location I had pain and prescribed me an antibiotic. The only saving grace for this place is that the kind lady there took pity on me and didn't charge me. As they should've of, because they did absolutely nothing for me.

Fantastic experience: Kristen is amazing! She always cleans my teeth every time I come and she always is easy to talk to and gives great advice on the care of my gums. I'm seeing great results and I really appreciate when she tells me I'm doing a great job. Before frankel dentistry I went probably 10 years without a dentist because my childhood one didn't work out. Now my mouth feels healthy and going to the the dentist is an enjoyable experience. I couldn't imagine not going to frankel for all my needs. Thank you all so much and tell Kristen she's amazing for me!

Fantastic experience: Dr Sablini and the entire staff are so kind and helpful. Lindsey is the sweetest and always makes me feel welcome and truly cared for. Dr Sablini manner is so kind and understanding and make sure I was comfortable every step of the way with my anxiety. So very appreciated. 5 stars for sure and highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Had a root canal, filling and crown all in one day! Dr. Cyrus was very Professional & personalable. I don't like Dentists and therefore don't get regularly checked! Fantastic experience: My wife had a root canal performed at Jon Frankel Dentistry. The procedure required some follow-up care, and Jon was quick to respond and address the issues right away. We were pleased with the outcome and would recommend Frankel Dentistry to others.

Negative experience: Visited this location in December 2024 found out a root canal needed to be done. Due to busy work schedule had to make the appointment in advance, march 2025. Made the appointment with the maumee location only to find out that on the day of the appointment Toledo never actually scheduled the appointment. They gave us the appointment reminder card and that was it. They even asked if we would like to pay in advance! This place is an absolute joke, don’t go here if you value your teeth or time!

Fantastic experience: This place has been awesome the few times I have went I was just there for an extraction everyone from the front to the doc was super nice they made sure I was comfortable and didn’t feel anything . I would highly recommend these guys excellent service and very understanding.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Cyrus and the entire staff. With being very sensitive to oral pain, even during cleanings, I’ve often avoided dentists. And after some bad experiences elsewhere, I stumbled upon Dr. Cyrus at Frankel Dentistry. His work and patient care is second to none. Additionally, the staff are all very friendly as well and take great care of you. With all that said, trips to the dentist as an adult will never be fun per se, but they can be painless and rewarding when seeing him and the team there!

I just came back for an adjustment and I did not see my most Favorite Person Ever Ashley Erdman ❤️ Ashley is an amazing sweet and explains things to me in a way I understand she was with me through my whole process even when I know I was a little grumpy she just still encouraged me and her knowledge of her practice you just cannot ignore! I know it’s hard to trust medical doctors in any form but I feel welcomed heard and just simply happy when I see her smile..Ty girl for getting me through now I’m enjoying my Glow Up!!!

Fantastic experience: Again, when I walked through the door to check in for my appointment until the time that I checked out, everyone was amazing. This is normal for this office. The staff treat you with courtesy and respect. They do use state of the art equipment which makes your visit more efficient and cuts down on time in the chair. I have no plans on changing my dentist.

Negative experience: They do good work, but I really feel like they try to push stuff off on you that isn’t necessary. They wanted my wife to get a crown on a tooth that had a large filling, even though there was nothing wrong with the tooth or the current filling, but they just wanted her to get it because the tooth could crack at some point in time Like okay…

I find that Frankle Dentisty is a place I can go to without too much stress. My RDH Payton Wojcinski has really been great, she has helped put me at ease and actually I think of her as a friend. Negative experience: I don’t even know where to begin, i came in for a cleaning 2 weeks ago everything went perfectly fine during this visit. The dr came in and mentioned i had some cavities they were wanting to fill. Understandable so i make an appointment for the following week to come back and get some filled. I came in last Tuesday November 5, in the beginning all things were going great no issues throughout. They numbed me twice once with the cream/gel and after with a shot. I leave and i get home and 15 minutes later my whole left side of my body went COMPLETELY numb!! I knew this was not right and just hoped it would ware off soon. 7 hours later it finally wore off. And i was in so much pain that i couldn’t speak, which i wasn’t sure if that was normal or not… I then wake up the next day and notice my left side still feels a little tingley and i have a huge migraine and my face is swollen with a earache. I call Dr frankel in the morning the next day since i couldn’t speak the day of procedure and the lady i spoke with she had worked on me the day prior, i explained my situation and she tells me that i am probably having a stroke and that i need to go to the hospital ASAP…. Of course panic sank in for me at this moment and was beyond frightened. I go then to the hospital and let them know the whole situation. After being in the hospital for 6 hours (mind you i had to leave work) they told me i was not having a stroke and that the injection just hit a nerve that connected to the left side of my body. And also that it could of also been a hematoma…. The office has tried to contact me after I’ve gone to the hospital to check up on me, but I’ve declined to speak with either of the parties that worked on me. I will not be returning to this practice anymore, and i don’t recommend anyone else too.. unless you want to spend more money for a hospital bill I am now scared to go to any dentist office i am traumatized from this situation and i hope this never happens to anyone else.

Negative experience: Completely incompetent Dentist. Yearly exam not conducted in thorough manners. Misinterpreted easily seen lumps as “nothing” as dentist statement whereas It turn out to be Cancer. Would not recommend going to this office whatsoever !

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Frankel Dentistry for some time now. Each and every experience is always a pleasure! I had a chipped front tooth repaired yesterday. Dr. Cyrus and Brittney( EFDA), took care of me. I not only got the repair done, but they also repaired a small chip on the adjoining front tooth, reinforced the 2 teeth, and evened out my smile better than it has been in years. Needless to say, I was absolutely delighted with this outcome! Their dental services are always performed in the most friendly, professional, and competent manner. I can highly recommend Frankel Dentistry to anyone seeking a new dental practice.....they are just the best I have encountered! Derek D.

Negative experience: Dr Al Janabi decided to surprise my partner of 5 years with a new needle in the mouth instead of the usual topical numbing only this morning. My partner battles with PTSD, from medical trauma nonetheless, and his unwarranted use of a needle almost immediately sent her into a panic, and she was left to stand up for herself after he tried to insist she stay and let him do what he wanted to do. Completely inappropriate, scary almost. His assistant was left shocked as well, apparently she was not expecting him to come up from behind her with no warning, grab her lip, and inject the syringe in to her mouth either. He quickly said sorry before leaving the room, and urging the assistant to do the same. She instead chose to comfort my partner and walk her out to her car and make sure she was okay. We are concerned for our future in dental care.

Fantastic experience: I don’t think I’ll ever switch dentists, they’re exceptionally nice and thorough each visit and the ladies who work in the office are super nice too! My kids don’t ever fuss coming here and that’s a blessing :)

Fantastic experience: Huge shout out to Dr Siblini and Dental Assistant Kori at the Toledo Office. Idk how I managed to chip a front bottom tooth (eating fruit snacks), but I was beside myself, On a Friday at 2:29 (the office still answered their phone) even though they closed at 2:30p. The receptionist was able to get me in 1st thing Saturday to have it looked at in Maumee. The Dr there did smooth it out and said it can be fixed or I could live w it if it didn’t bother me. I chose to have it fixed. I saw Dr Siblini and Kori-(Monday) and the professionalism and kindness that was displayed is so appreciated! Thank you both so much! Kori you did amazing work! I’m so grateful for you. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience with Lindsay, she was super thorough with explaining everything & made my visit calm and comfortable! She was an absolute gem! Elena who is their Director of finance also filled me in about monthly affordable payments that actually made more sense than using my insurance! Fantastic experience: Hands down best dentist office in the area. I live with serious PTSD when it comes to anything medical. Battling cancer leaves you feeling like you have zero control of what’s happening to you, with your or about you. Every single member of this staff through my entire battle and after have been patient, supportive and compassionate with me. (And I don’t always deserve it) If you struggle with dental/medical anxiety and worry about going to the dentist.. try these guys! It’s a long process overcoming illness, and it appears the mental effect is worse than I was prepared for. But one thing I don’t have to worry about is getting good care. Thank you to the entire staff of the Talmadge location. You are appreciated and I am so grateful for each one of you. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ahmed and especially Mendi Wilson were great. Mendi made the scary process of getting a cavity drilled feel comfortable by talking about the nature show playing on the TV, tapping on my shoulder while I got the anesthetic shot to distract from the minor pain, and making sure I was relaxed throughout the whole procedure. She was so nice and did a great job on the filling! 11/10 would get a cavity again.

Negative experience: One of the worst dental experiences I’ve ever had at a dentist. All I wanted was a cleaning. They made an appointment just to do exams and check my gums. I just wanted my teeth cleaned! They proceeded to force a root canal appointment on me and then after that would be a fillings appointment. Like I said twice already in my review, I just wanted a cleaning first. Then they could have done the root canal and fillings. Just a way to make more money off of me so I’ll keep coming back. I’ll be going somewhere else. Also the dentist made me feel very uncomfortable. He and the other staff were making weird jokes and he made a very disturbing joke that made me uncomfortable. Very unhappy with my experience here. **UPDATE** In Frankel’s response to my review, I’m asked to call Jon Frankel’s personal cell. How can I do that if I don’t have the phone number?!?!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Siblini and the dental technicians working with him were awesome! From the first appointment and beyond, he made sure to address any concerns and even my anxiety. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Siblini hands down the BEST dentist! What an awesome guy! Never had a dentist give me a hug before. How thoughtful and understanding is that? WOW!! Just wow! Fantastic experience: Dr. Siblini and his staff are absolutely incredible. After some facial and oral trauma, Dr. Siblini put my smile back together. Practically painlessly, and I'm a coward when it comes to the dentist! He is so extraordinarily gentle and he is very in tune with his patients. He noticed I was anxious and brought me a blanket. He took his time and explained what he was doing every step of the way, always making sure I wasn't uncomfortable. He even took the time to place a follow up call after my initial session. He is very kind, polite and courteous to his staff as well. I'm very thankful to have found such a compassionate and skilled dentist! He was able to calmly extract a tooth that was certain to be converted to a surgical excision and he never even broke a sweat lol (I did, when he stood up and raised me up to do it) Thank you for everything, Dr. Siblini! Always remember that you are making a difference in your patients lives!

Fantastic experience: My first experience at Frankel Dentistry was absolutely wonderful. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist was extremely professional and courteous. My dental assistant Mendi was amazing! Knowing that I am terribly afraid of the dentist, she was very sensitive and took so much time to make me feel totally at ease. Dr. Sublini and his assistant made me feel so at ease, still have alot anxiety. They were able to calm me down and did a treatment plan for my next appt in a week. So far so good. I highly recommend them, they went step-by-step, showed pictures of multiple options I could choose to pursue and didn't do anything without discussing with me 1st. Still not a fan of a dentist office but my procedure next week with what the plan is, I feel a little more at ease knowing that they will take care of my concerns and anxiety to complete what is needed to be done. Friendly and caring and that is what I like the most.

Fantastic experience: This place is wonderful. If you have any kind of dental anxiety this is the place to go. They are all kind and patient and explain every thing they do. They really eased my fear. I have had a tooth pulled and my wisdom tooth removed here. I highly recommend Frankel to everybody.

Fantastic experience: My 9 year old son had a dental emergency yesterday he broke his 2 front Adult teeth at school. We only lived here for around 7 months so I did not establish a new dentist in this area yet. They got us in within the hour of him breaking his 2 front teeth. My son unfortunately has some sensory issues with dentist because things in his mouth other than food make him gag. Let’s just say they were kind, patient, and treated him like he has been going there for years. I don’t know if him gluing the tooth back in will hold I pray it does. But that the Dentist tried his best and the Dental Hygienist and that’s what matters the most. That they tried without knowing us and treated us so kindly. I highly recommend this dentist!

Negative experience: Horrible. They treat you like you're on an assembly line. And don't call me asking to change my review because the last time I left a negative review Frankel called me and said he would take care of me personally. I agreed to come back. I was supposed to be getting a root canal and yes he did take care of me, broke the tool off in my gums and I had to go to an oral surgeon to get my tooth extracted. I'm pretty sure he done it on purpose. 3 times I have left there and had to see a specialist because of their incompetence. AVOID THIS QUACK SHOP.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient to this office, I throughly enjoyed my visit! The office was very clean and everyone seemed friendly and pleasant. The hygienist and doctor made me feel comfortable and helped to address all of my questions and concerns. I will not dread going to the dentist again and will look forward to my next cleaning! Fantastic experience: Not comfortable anywhere else but here. I love this place. Overall I have enjoyed getting help for my dental issues over the past 5-7 years with Frankel. I do and always have have a terrible fear/anxiety about dentists. We had a slight clerical issue and it was corrected. (3 months later update) I never talked to the owner as he offered below my review but my appointments were ultimatly honored as I had hoped. I appreciate the continued service and exceptional service that I have received through all of this. I have mended my review to reflect my appreciation.

Negative experience: AVOID IF YOU HAVE MAY HAVE QUESTIONS PRIOR TO PROCEDURES!! My wife had an appointment today at Dr Frankel for a major procedure. After arriving and checking in (patient privacy is also apparently not a concern here fyi) they asked if she had any questions. Being nervous already she obviously replied yes, wanting some re-assurance from the Dentist that this was the right step. After waiting in the room for the dentist, she asked her questions. Instead of re-assuring compassionate responses she was left feeling wrong for asking questions. To the point they told her they no longer have time to even do the procedure!! So at 8:45 she left IN TEARS with no procedure, no appointment to get it finished, and humiliated. AND used her last 2 PTO days for the recovery already! Not much can make a guy more angry then seeing his wife come come in tears!! Is this the Frankel way? UPDATE: For those that may see this. I did promptly receive a response as you can see from one of the owners. Dr Amber Puhl asking me to call them as they wanted to discuss the issues. This had gave me hope we would have a quick resolution to a horrible experience! I contacted the office and left my contact information for Dr. Puhl understanding she likely had a busy schedule. I had a call from 2 office managers and another dentist but not a single contact from either Dr Puhl or Dr Frankel. Each call I informed then I would prefer to speak directly to Dr Puhl. So if you see bad reviews with prompt responses asking for that person to contact them. Please be aware that is smoke and mirrors they aren't going to contact you directly.

Fantastic experience: This Dentistry practice is top notch! The building is clean, professional, and updated. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I even received a free whitening kit for being a new patient. The first visit exceeded my expectation.

Highly recommend Dr. Cyrus and Brittney Gates. She was great numbing my gums and Dr Cyrus Razmgar is a perfectionist:) I could go on and on how great they both are as a team. THANK YOU They took the fear of going to the dentist out of me, made me a believer again, that it's OK and not to be afraid getting dental work done. After 59 years of having silver implants, my new implants look so natural. I can smile again, lol and no one e could ever tell I have implants! Fantastic experience: Update: Appreciate the outreach by Doctor Frankel and for addressing my concerns. Looking forward to continuing care with this practice. I am writing to express my concerns about my recent experience at your practice, particularly during my visit on 01/29/24 with Dr. Elsati. As a relatively new patient, my initial interactions were positive, working with Dr. Griess to address extensive damage in my mouth. However, the recent events with Dr. Elsati have left me with a less favorable impression. During my first visit on 01/09/2024, Dr. Elsati recommended three caps and two cavity fillings. While I agreed to the cavity fillings, I expressed hesitation about the caps due to recent dental work. Given my commitment to avoiding debt for my care, I carefully consider and sometimes delay recommended treatments. On the day of my cavity fillings, the procedure took an unexpected turn. Sherri Kay, EFDA, DA, initiated the process, and Dr. Elsati, seemingly overwhelmed, joined later. A disagreement ensued between Dr. Elsati and Sherri Kay over the treatment plan. Sherri Kay reminded Dr. Elsati of his prior recommendation for two cavity fillings on the left lower part of my jaw, contradicting his current stance on the necessity of caps. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Elsati displayed unprofessional behavior, repeatedly bumping against my teeth and accidentally dosing my face with water. Despite expressing discomfort, my concerns about a plastic contraption causing a gag reflex were dismissed, with Dr. Elsati advising it was necessary to prevent gagging. After the cavity removal, Dr. Elsati abruptly left, leaving Sherri Kay to handle the aftermath and complete the fillings. This experience, combined with Dr. Elsati's behavior, has unfortunately left me with a negative impression. I have also communicated my concerns to Brittany Lopez, emphasizing that under no circumstance do I want Dr. Elsati to touch my mouth or perform any further procedures on me. I provided feedback on his unprofessional behavior, adding some colorful commentary to convey the extent of my dissatisfaction. I trust that you take these concerns seriously and address them appropriately. My goal in sharing this feedback is to ensure that the high standard of care I initially experienced under Dr. Griess is maintained. Additionally, could Dr. Griess and/or Dr. Frankel kindly assess my images and validate whether it is essential to add three more caps to my teeth? Due to the argument today, I am hesitant to move forward.

Fantastic experience: Audrey & Dr Siblini were both incredibly kind, knowledgeable & understanding. They helped me with various issues promptly and swiftly. Britt did my cleaning, she was extremely precise and caring, she was wonderful. it was my first time here & definitely the best dental care i’ve received in my 10+ years of living in toledo.

Fantastic experience: I love walking into a place of business and finding employees that seem genuinely happy to be there. Far too often I see people just miserable and that is not why we are here on this earth. aside from that I feel like the first exam was very thorough, fully explained to me and also looks great. I was also pleasantly surprised that I did not have to ask how much an upcoming procedure would be. . . it was just part of the process to include what I should be looking to pay for a cavity fill. I'm so used to being told, oh you'll get a bill in the mail, no ball park or anything. It's good to see that being handled properly.

Fantastic experience: I was a new patient here about a year or two ago. I have insane dental anxiety and every single time I have come to this office, I’ve had the best experience. Everyone is extremely kind and professional. They are caring and explain everything to you to make you feel at ease and help you understand what they are doing. Pretty sure I’ve had a different dentist each time (just due to my crazy schedule I cant plan on seeing the same one every time) and every single one has been so kind. All the hygienists and dental assistants are awesome as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: I did couple of procedures at Frankel dentistry and am not satisfied at all. I had a crown and had to visit them 3 times for adjustment and fixing one single crown. Although it is a part of their service to adjust the crown, they charged me $125 extra, if I remember correctly, for the x-ray. I am not still happy with the crown! I had a filling and root Chanel, the burnt the corner of my lips so I couldn’t open my mouth for two days. And other complains…. I will I could put less than one star!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Frankel's practice is amazing! Dr. Elsalti, Ashley, and Sherri have taken such incredible care of me and helped east dental anxiety I've been holding for over a decade now (as well as tooth pain for the same amount of time)! I will absolutely be back and am genuinely looking forward to my dentist appointments!

Positive experience: They’re friendly and have good staff, a huge downside however I got sick right after my visit.. Which begs the question of how clean they keep their work stations.. The person cleaning my teeth (before the dentist himself came in the room) had her hands in my mouth then would type on her keyboard then go right back to hands in my mouth. I’m not sure how often they wash the keyboards or if it’s a skipped over sanitization step but a few hours after my visit my throat started hurting and I ran a fever the next day.. All I have are minor cavities, nothing enough to cause the sinus infection, fever and throat pain I got from my brief visit.

Fantastic experience: Ani is always great with cleanings! So far all of the staff have been great. I keep coming back and recommending them to everyone who brings dentistry up! Great job guys!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to frankel dentistry for quiet some time now, but I have never been as satisfied as I was compared to my most recent visit with Karen. She is a very hardworking and conscientious hygienist. She is an angel and really deserves an award! I wish she worked all year round but unfortunately she doesn’t work during the winter time.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Frankel Dentistry for 15 years. However, in a recent visit, Dr. Westmeyer exceeded my expectations and ensured I was more than satisfied! He even went so far as to personally call me on a Friday evening after 5p - talk about “above and beyond”! Dr. Westmeyer is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring. I highly recommend not only Frankel Dentistry, but specifically Dr. Westmeyer. By far, superior in his field!

Fantastic experience: I love this office!! Last week, I came in as a new patient cleaning. My team was great. Kristen and Dr. Dietel were very nice and answered many of my questions. I went back today for a filling. My team was Sherri and Dr. Elsalti, they did a great job comforting me when I felt anxious. They walked me thru the process and gave many positive affirmations. I am very happy with my decision to be a patient at Dr. Frankel’s!

Negative experience: Just wanted my teeth cleaned, actually talk w/a dentist, and old fillings repaired /replaced. Instead, LOTS of color pics/X-rays, no cleaning, & minimal interaction w/a dentist (didn’t come around to where I could see him to intro himself & talk, just saw half his face, upside down, briefly examine my teeth). Charged $150, which I never would have known had I not stopped to ask on my way out. I was shocked so much w/no cleaning, no filling appt. scheduled. Instead, had to endure the HARD SELL ‘consultation’ appt. next, during which I was shamed (especially when I didn’t select the expensive option of having all of my top teeth capped and veneered), harangued, and asked very personal questions. Again, denied a regular cleaning & told you Must have their special deep cleaning, even though I’d read online this can cause gums not to close back around teeth properly. Very disturbing experience. With so many big pics of people smiling unnaturally white toothed smiles, perhaps a good place to go if you have $10,000+ to spend on cosmetic dentistry on each half of your mouth, and don’t mind wearing a night guard the rest of your life, but certainly not somewhere I’d recommend for routine dentistry.

Negative experience: I will never go back to this practice. Your practice once again has sent me on a run around and almost had me pull a tooth that nothing is wrong with. However this time is was about to cost me $7200.00. I went back to the Endodontists that performed the procedure on the tooth in question, Matthew Nakfoor. He is going to write you a letter as he couldn't believe you wanted to pull the tooth and do an implant that cost $7200.00. I'm over this. Also I was not happy with the way this was handled in your office. The dentist that checked my teeth when I told him Nakfoor was out of network for me now and last time I had to dive to Novi MI to have this check for again no reason he was like so pay the out of office visit it will only be $100.00. Umm no correction if Nakfoor's office wasn't so nice it would have been $300.00. I'm sorry I don't make dentist money and am one income sorry you feel like its no big deal but any extra cost is to me. Also when I went in for the consultation your team acted like an implant was the only option. When checking around and with Nakfoor they all indicated that if and when it ever needed pulled a retainer with a fake tooth could be done for a cheaper option . So to me your office was out to make the biggest buck as your office would not even consider that. Definitely glad I went to have Nakfoor check this out as he saved me some money. Also when I sent you this same information in a email you never even responded back.

I haven't been to the dentist in 10+ plus years and the lady Melonie was very good at keeping me calm and not just telling me what I wanted to hear but being honest with my current state. Fantastic experience: Dr Hayder and his team are fantastic, caring and patient I had to go through alot of treatments because my teeth were just so bad but they made sure at the end I had my smile back and I couldn't be happier with the work he and his team had done. Fantastic experience: Had there been more people in dental care like Dr. Dietel and his assistant Christina when I was growing up I would never have had to have dentures. My fear (phobia actually) of dentists was handled with compassion and understanding. They are the best!

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal every single time I go. I've been going here for years since I was in grade school, and I don't think I've ever met a nicer kinder group of people. Appointments are always prompt and quick, and the staff is absolutely killer. They're also extremely welcoming to LGBTQ folks to the point that they use my preferred name and pronouns. Extremely high recommendation easily the best dentist I've ever been to.

Positive experience: 3) raising my rating . The dentist tried to connect with me. Now I get a bill today for $130, after all the phone calls, and final assurance that all was paid. Back on the phone on Monday. 2)I raised my rating . It took awhile , yet persistent calling kept then on the case at this office , my insurances paid, my cash payment was refunded. The hygenist was thorough, very good. The front office should have informed me right up front that it would take 3 visits to get my teeth cleaned. They took 18 individual x rays, they should have asked me if I wanted the easier panorama x ray. ( teeth are fine) Even with 2 insurances, they still got $90 cash from me . They should have told me that up front. The large treatment room on the 2nd visit for a ' deep cleaning' has too small divider barriers between each chair area. I heard all of the guy 2 chairs over hollering out while getting his teeth pulled.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. Took me four months to get a appointment. Told the receptionist what kind of Insurance I had. Was told they took my insurance. Got a appointment four months out. Day of my appointment, was told they didn't take my insurance. Was told they called me the day before and left me a text. They absolutely didn't. . The receptionist was rood. Didn't even offer a apology. Would not recommend. I will tell all my friends and family. Poor customer service.. Bottom line new customer beware

Fantastic experience: I just started going to this dentist and I've been seeing Dr. Hayder. He had a good sense of humor and all of the hygienists I have met have been very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a good atmosphere that I was intimidated by at first, due to the size of the offices. I have had nothing but good experiences.

Fantastic experience: This was a very positive experience. I had old mercury fillings replaced and was a little nervous. Sherri (efda) was comforting and let me know what was happening before she did anything. Dr Dhaliwal gave me the numbing shots and I can’t believe I barely felt anything! She also drilled out the old fillings and again very painless! I would definitely go back again for my dental needs and would recommend them to friends and family.

Positive experience: I had dental work done with a different dentist and now Dr. Frankel and associates are helping to fix my teeth the right way! Always everyone's very sweet and professional. Definitely refer anyone that wants a good dentist!

Fantastic experience: I always have a great experience whether I’m coming in for a cleaning, cavity, crown, etc. Everyone is always so friendly and takes the time to explain best practices so I can take better care of my teeth from home and since coming here I’ve had far fewer issues with my teeth. I recently got braces, my hygienist today was Maddie, she took the time to go over some tips to make sure I know the best way to care for my teeth with that added obstacle. I highly recommend.
