They are leaving the practice with a VERY NEGATIVE IMPRESSION! IT IS COSTING THEM! They do'nt answer the phone nor return calls, and very unprofessionally spoken!

Dr. Kayongo is a great dentist that has done superb work for me with exams, evaluations, and fillings that have not failed. Dr. McGowen is also friendly, thorough, and professional. He has a more wait and see attitude instead of pushing more expensive treatments. He is willing to jump in and help his staff and is not bothered by interruptions. I highly enjoy and recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Everyone is so friendly!

Negative experience: The level of care and kindness was extraordinary during the first visit. The office staff is not good at customer service. Due to my work schedule, I can only call within a certain time frame. Unfortunately, there is no one in their office during their lunch time. Therefore, the response is either not done or delayed. Because I recently learned of additional dental coverage, I also would like to understand the amount of my portion. I was told on a Monday that I would receive a returned phone call. No one called. No one called on Tuesday, and after calling several times on the same day, I finally got a returned call on Wednesday. An appointment was set up for Thursday. After discovering a conflict, I called again to cancel and reschedule. I left a message. I received a text message from your office (I have kept the messages for documentation which includes the number of attempts I've made). I am now being told the earliest I can be seen is December 30th. I am in pain and have advised that, I am a referral from a Minister whom I have great faith in. I also appreciate Dr. K. who has provided exceptional service, however, I don't appreciate the negativity I've received from some of the office workers.

Negative experience: I scheduled a cleaning here as a new patient. I was a few minutes late as I had trouble finding the building. When I walked in the receptionist greeted me with "what's your last name" yelled from the back of the office. When I said I had insurance, she contradicted me twice saying "you're paying cash". Then, they said I was 15 minutes late and cancelled my appointment. Then they had the nerve to try to sell me other services. Edit: I called, they had no idea what I was talking about.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely embarrassed about the condition my teeth were in but the minute I walked in the door everyone made me feel very relaxed assured that I had nothing to be embarrassed about that they were going to take good care of me. Which they did! I trusted them and Dr. Kayogo and her assistant were wonderful!!!!! I'm 69yrs old and have never had such a positive comfortable experience in a dentist office before. Will recommend them every chance I get. ❤️

Many times we've come in and had an issue with our teeth and instead of scheduling another appointment, Dr. Kayonga was able to fill the cavities, perform a root canal, or build up the tooth at that time! Would highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: I have a somewhat irrational fear of the dentist, mostly from a terrible experience as a child. To say it's been a while since I've seen a dentist is an understatement. But Dr. McGowan, Alicia, Orly, and all of the staff at Toledo Family Dental are so kind and reassuring, they made my visits much easier than I anticipated. I look forward to continuing my dental health care with TFDC!
