Negative experience: Originally I was happy with services until dentures were made. My lower denture does not fit properly. I asked to have it remade ( did not do ) and was referred to an implant specialist that wouldn't even look at denture. I went to another dentist for them to tell me new dentures did not fit properly. I have asked for a refund but as of now I am paying care credit for it to sit in a cup as I can not wear it. $ 2303.00 is alot of money for something I can't use. Will not be referring this office to anyone in the future.

Fantastic experience: ’ve had such a great experience at Finley Dentistry. It’s a private practice and you can really tell they care about their patients. I also really appreciated how fair and honest they were with billing. There was a small mix-up with an estimate related to my insurance, and they handled it in a way that felt incredibly kind and professional. They didn’t have to, but they made it right, and that meant a lot to me.

His hygienist Beverly is very comforting and puts you at ease while all of your procedures are being performed, I felt as if I've known her for years. This was my first experience at the office and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a molar extracted. I called on Wednesday as a new patient and I got in Thursday. After x-ray Dr. Finley pulled the tooth out in one piece...long roots and all! Every person there was very nice, pleasant and helpful. I have officially found a new dentist! Dr. Finley and Gail were both very attentive and informative.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Finley's for many years. Dr. Finley and his staff take excellent care of me, and I do highly recommend his practice to friends and family. If I have a dental issue, and we all have an occasional problem, Dr. Finley gets me right in and gives me the treatment I need. The preventative care is excellent as well. I have nothing but good things to say about both the dentist and his staff.

Fantastic experience: I was just in for a tooth extraction that was needed for an infection that had occurred, and I suffer from severe anxiety when it comes to needles and medical/dental procedures. Dr. Finley and his entire staff were very understanding and caring, and were able to help me avoid a panic attack during the procedure. I would highly recommend their practice, especially to those who suffer from anxiety like myself.

Fantastic experience: Super place, excellent care just had a cleaning today ( done by Eric exceptional care) they go out of their way to satisfy you. Very down to earth and very practical in their care approach. I have no doubts that they put what is best for you in your needs and budget as well.

Fantastic experience: So I initially called to see if they were accepting new patients and was so very lucky to be visiting for a routine cleaning within an hour and a half of calling. Everyone I encountered from Tevin in intake to the assistant who actually did my cleaning ( sorry I forgot her name) to Dr Finley and even the receptionist on my way out was absolutely wonderful. Fantastic experience: I had a cleaning and checkup. Beverly was my hygienist and did a fine job. She is very friendly and makes you feel at ease. Dr Findlay checked me out. I had a good checkup. I like Dr Findlay because he is kind and does not try and talk you into extra work. Dr Finley is very good because he does a great job. I had changes on my partial and I was Able to get it the next day. I also like that if you have a problem you don’t have to wait a long time to get an appointment. I have been going to Dr Findlay for many years and I wouldn’t switch. He does good work and always let you know what the cost is before and if insurance is going to cover. I had a good checkup and cleaning. As always Dr Findlay does a great job and is kind. I would recommend him to anyone.

Positive experience: Thank God, Dr. Finley intervened with a Common Sense solution regarding my cancelled confirmed appointment, by some power hungry associate. Even though the reminder postcard has always worked fine for me, since I never missed an appointment. I believe 48 hours is enough to confirm an appointment, especially for an older person in precarious health. It was always has in the past, but now we seem to want to bombard people with texts to confirm appointments weeks in advance, and/or leaving them threatening voicemails that are barely audible, because voice mailer did not have the Common Sense to call their own phone to test the volume of her announcement. If there is a problem with people not showing up, then take names, and take it up with them, but bombarding everyone with this technology “because you can,” can, and does annoy people, who will surely go somewhere else, taking their hard earned dollars with them.

Fantastic experience: Always very thorough. Professional and nice. Been coming here for years. Wonderful and caring staff. Pain free Dentistry has always been the case when I visit for check ups and/or dental procedures.

Fantastic experience: Was having tooth pain and the dentist id had my whole life retired. I went to a big name chain place that I had two different dentist tell me completely different things in the end they didn't do anything. Dr Finley got me in the next day gave me an honest opinion fixed the issue same day couldn't be happier pain gone immediately.

He has done all that he could do to make sure I was comfortable and pain free, his staff is very welcoming and friendly and they all treated me so well. In fact today, as I walked out the doors after my appointment, I thought to myself, wow..this is really one of those rare establishments left in Toledo that has kept the friendly neighborhood feeling alive while at the same time keeping up with all the modern equipment that is guaranteed to keep your teeth healthy & clean. Your first impression when you walk through the doors will be how impeccably clean everything is. It amazes me every time, and is important to me. I know that when businesses take such great care of their facility and pay attention to detail that they are more likely to take great care and pay attention to detail with their clients as well. Especially when I am at the dentist or doctor, seeing that everything is sanitized and dust free (and has a clean scent in the air) tells me that I can relax. Not to mention, all of the staff is so friendly and kind. Ive never had to wait in the waiting room long before my appointment, not once. They are well organized and proceed in a timely manner. Ive never had trouble with billing or any hidden fees. They are always up front with costs and provide recommendations to help keep up healthy teeth but never pushy in selling anything I dont need! As a lifelong resident of Toledo, I appreciate Dr. Finley, his staff, and establishment very much!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Dr. Finley for years . I broke a part of my tooth off over the weekend and called first thing Monday . They got me in and prepared me for temp crown that same day. That is wonderful service you don’t get anymore .

Fantastic experience: Would like to start off by saying I have such bad anxiety when it comes to dentists. I have had such bad experiences in the past. I had a dental emergency and needed one of my 4 baby teeth pulled out due to being very painful. The staff was so nice and very patient. My nerves quickly subsided. They were able to pull my tooth with just a simple exam. Dr. Finley was the kindest amd gentlest dentist I have ever been to. His entire staff was super nice. I will be back for sure for all my dental needs. They got me in same day and saved the day! Thabk you and I will be scheduling my cleaning very soon.

Fantastic experience: One of a kind!! This guy is amazing. I had an appointment for a cleaning and got a call saying my hygienist wouldn't be working that day and could I reschedule. My schedule is tight and I didn't want to reschedule so Dr Finley stepped up and cleaned my teeth himself. I was shocked by this amazing customer service. I've been to dental offices that make you feel like part of an assembly line and there is no way this would happen at one of those places. If you need a great honest and caring dentist Dr. Finley is you guy. You won't be disappointed!!

Fantastic experience: I took 2 of my children (ages 5 and almost 4) to Dr. Finley and they were absolutely fabulous. I'm truly awful with names but the dental hygienist who worked with us made the experience enjoyable for them. My kids are (thankfully) not scared of dentist, but they were extremely patient and explained everything, while playing with the equipment to make them enjoy their experience even more!

Fantastic experience: First, the dental assistant Reyna was amazing! She was very welcoming and made the whole process way less scary! She was so kind! As far as dentists go, I have never had much luck with dentists and dentistries, but Dr. Finley was awesome! He was very straightforward without being condescending and very nice! Fantastic experience: All the staff is super friendly and super helpful! I can’t thank them enough for squeezing me in for an emergency appointment. I have bad dental anxiety and everyone, including the dentist himself, make you feel comfortable.. and I had to have my first root canal!! Dr. Finley is a saint in my book! I wish I could remember all of the lovely ladies names who helped me out as well. Also, I think I should mention I hadn’t been to him in 3 years or so and they don’t make you feel guilty about it. (I know that can be a reason I avoid the dentist sometimes, we all get busy with life‍♀️)

Negative experience: I am kind of surprised they decided to send me an email asking for a review. I was looking for a new dentist for my daughter. He long time dentist had recently retired. I came across Finley Dentistry. They said the accepted my insurance so I set an appointment. When we arrive they do her new patient registration and review her benefits. Upon doing the exam they said she had 2 cavities that needed to be addressed. I asked Mr. Finley how much it would cost. He told me he would let me know for sure how much before he did it. After about 20 minutes they came out and told me my portion would be 130 dollars and that my insurance would cover the rest. Based on that knowledge I decided to move forward with it because it lined up with what I had already been told. Seeing how they accept my insurance I would assume they have used them before and know how to bill within the guidelines. Knowing exactly how much the company is going to pay for the procedures or at least a better idea based on knowing the cap the company sets. I was already armed with the knowledge that if I payed cash at a competing dentist I could get a new patient exam for 99 and fillings for 40 each. They told me here 130 for what would cost me 179 cash elsewhere. So it lined up about the same as the cash place. some money from me and some from insurance. Fast forward a month later. I get a bill from them asking for another 500 dollars. Which is absurd considering I could have just spent 179 just down the road with no insurance. And I had already paid then 130. I called in and spoke with a lady asking how this was possible. They explained their side but I told them that was unacceptable. They accept the insurance and they should have known exactly how much the insurance company would pay. They take them so they would have submitted a claim for a cavity before. I checked with the insurance company and they paid 100 percent of what they pay for the procedure. Which is something they should know beforehand. The fact is they knew I would be billed more and they didn't disclose it up front. Probably because I would have declined. They didn't offer me the option to send it for prior pre approval or anything. I have 0 doubt they knew they would be billing me more before I left. I reviewed how they billed based on what they saw in my benefits and it was clear there was a discrepancy. Also, the final bill I received contained items not even billed to the insurance company. I tried to talk with Cortney Smith but she quit communicating via email and my guess is she doesn't want me questioning her billing practices. I have 0 interest in calling back in. I have given her a chance to make this right but she appears to want me to go another route. She has been stand offish at best. The email keeps the conversation in writing. Plus we had already talked via phone. I have been to several dentist and 0 of them have billed me after they received payment from my insurance company. As a matter of fact one sent me a refund check. All of them billed more than the insurance company paid. Still waiting for them to make this right. I wasn't even going to leave this review till they asked. One things for sure Is I am not going to let this go.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Finley and his staff are ....awesome! I called them in an emergency as I could not get ahold of my dentist and not only did he fit me in, he made sure I was taken care of - i was in allot of pain. I plan on staying a patient as long as he'll have me!

Fantastic experience: Entrance is NOT handicapped-friendly--there's about 4 stairs to navigate to get into the waiting room. (I'm sure the place is grandfathered in the ADA.) This is my ONLY complaint. Dr Finley & his staff are quiet & efficient--wonderful people!

Fantastic experience: Had a few issues with a couple of my rear molars. Reached out to a few dentists, but unfortunately they did not do rear extractions, but they did recommend Dr Finleys Dentist Office! So after careful consideration, I decided to try here because I knew that I wanted to get these few teeth pulled as soon as possible!! They got me in quickly! The whole process was extremely efficient! Dr Finley was assuring and kind, which put me at ease! He had this tooth pulled quickly, and painlessly, and then it was time to go! My type of guy!! Ms Rayna was most certainly a pleasure to deal with as well! Everyone here is very very nice and welcoming! Which makes you want to come back! I mean no one enjoys the dentist, but when everyone is so nice and efficient, makes you want to come back if need be!! Thanks again Dr Finley!

Fantastic experience: I was terrified to see the dentist after a horrible experience over 15 years ago. I had to come in for an emergency appointment and EVERYONE in the office was AMAZING! They were very empathetic to my fears and understanding as well. They all made me at ease for this appointment and not feel terrible for not coming in sooner. Fantastic experience: I broke a large filling out of a tooth while eating popcorn . Dr Finley’s Staff scheduled me right away. Unfortunately, the tooth wasn’t able to be saved. But , Dr. Finley is so gentle and kind and after studying my X-rays he explained everything to me. You know you’re getting the best care at the most reasonable cost. Also , like the fact that you aren’t sent to other Dentists to have things done. He is an experienced Dentist and can take care of almost any Dental care you need. It’s done right there . Except for Implants, your care is right there . Dr Finley and his Staff are the best I personally think you can get . I’ve found my Dentist and if you’re in need of Dental Care, you’ll be very happy you found the best too .

Two years ago I got dentures and they look so real no one notice them . Thank you to Dr finley and his staff you all are so kind .

Fantastic experience: For the last two years, I've had devastation in my life. The dentist was on the back burner. I went today because I was in pain. Dr.Finley and his staff are extremely nice, personable, & professional. I don't recall a dentist office ever taking my blood pressure before a procedure. Mine was high because I was nervous. Dr. Finley extracted a broken tooth, and prescribed antibiotics for my infection. They also gave me four antibiotics to take in the office. I assume that was to hold me over until my prescription was filled. For that, I was grateful. Dr. Finley explained everything he was doing, and what needs to be done in the future. I actually look forward to seeing him again this month.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Finley's knowledge base and techniques are both superb. He and his staff were completely professional and yet personal at the same time. They were thoughtful in their comments and responsive to my concerns.

Negative experience: My daughter had the absolutely worst experience here today. Not only was it the hygienist first day but she was rough and talked down to my daughter because she hadn't seen a dentist in 5 years. As did the dentist. Not everyone has insurance or extra $ for twice a year cleanings. It took a lot for me to convince her to go and the experience she had was very disappointing. I will be looking for another dentist for both of us.
