Fantastic experience: Great dentist! Always a good experience

Fantastic experience: I visited Mt Vernon Dentistry yesterday for some X-ray’s, and a very exhaustive screening of my current dental needs. Additionally, today I had a teeth cleaning and was very impressed by the professionalism, and efficiency of the dentist and all the supporting staff. I experienced all the office staff working well together in a very coordinated fashion! Thank you Mt. Vernon Dentistry!

Negative experience: Horrible. I literally had 2 front teeth permanent put on and I was to come back just for a check up and a cleaning.i had my deep cleaning done in 2024 so I wouldn't be eligible for a deep cleaning untill2026 the Dr went in there did x rays and then proceeded to let me know what I need done...mind you I already know all this but that wasn't why I had came in ,just check up and clean.well they did all that then had me wait in the lobby just to tell me how much each of the procedures will cost....!what i was like wait I just came for a check up and cleaning i know all this i don't want to do this and the Dr wanted to schedule another deep clean.i never got my teeth clean i went in at 11a.m and left at 12.37 p.m wasted my time.i will not go back they are good for a first visit then after they just wanna sell you on procedures.

Positive experience: I like this clinic the staff is really friendly and caring. There's one issue I have with scheduling please don't schedule patients on the saturdays you guys are closed. People have other things to do other than waiting in the parking lot for a phantom appointment. My appointment was comfirmed when I got to the parking lot and you guys were closed. ‍♂️

Reception is always so friendly & quick to get you checked in & pulled back, I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes. The hygienists are super nice & funny. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I recently had an experience at Mount Vernon Dentistry that left me feeling mixed about their services. During my last visit, I was initially quoted a higher amount than what my insurance would cover. After I pointed this out, the staff took my paperwork to the back and returned to confirm the correct amount, which was a relief. I was able to schedule an appointment, but when I needed to reschedule, I was informed that the next available slot was 4 to 6 weeks out. This was frustrating, especially since I had heard they could accommodate other patients within a week. On a positive note, the dental hygienists and doctors were very friendly and professional, making my visit much more pleasant. However, I do think the front office team could benefit from better management and communication. While I was considering referring others to this practice, my experience with the scheduling and billing issues has made me hesitant. I hope they can improve in these areas, as the clinical staff is truly commendable.

Fantastic experience: The Technian that cleaned my teeth was excellent. Professional and personable. The receptionist was great, as always.

Negative experience: Doctor recommended unnecessary work on both my kids. She also confused my kids and said another key was mine. Do not take your kids here, all they do is recommend over the top work that isn't needed. At the very least get a 2nd opinion at another dentistry.

Negative experience: Recent Experience at Mt. Vernon Dentistry Dear Office Manager’s 01/11/2025 I am writing to share my recent experience at Mt. Vernon Dentistry with Dr. T, who is very rude, and I believe is the owners wife. I believe feedback is important for improving patient care and customer service. I have been a loyal patient for years, consistently bringing my daughters in for their weekend appointments. However, during our most recent visit, I encountered a situation that left me extremely disappointed. While my daughters were present for their scheduled cleaning, Dr. T stated, in front of her staff and another patient in the waiting area, that her staff had made a mistake in scheduling children on weekends. She further explained that weekend appointments are reserved exclusively for adults (18 is considered a child per Dr. T) who cannot take time off work during the week. This was not only surprising but also disheartening, as it was conveyed publicly and made me feel dismissed as a patient. When I expressed my frustration and indicated I would seek care elsewhere, Dr. T seemed indifferent, which only exacerbated the situation. As a longtime patient, I expected a higher level of professionalism and courtesy. This encounter has unfortunately impacted my trust in your practice and my willingness to refer others to your care. I am sharing this feedback not only to express my disappointment but also in the hope that it may lead to improved communication and patient relations in the future.

Negative experience: I was so dissapointed this time, I had never experience a type of attitude before in all years I was client. The first attendant at the room had emphaty to my questions. The recepcionist (the billing lady had the worse attituded i ever had due my reschedule dates, I prefered to leave then keep talking to her) I dont like to complaing but in more then 10 years I never had a bad situation like this.

Negative experience: Very poor service. Lot of rolling eyes and smugness. I had a new insurance and that seemed to upset the front desk person because no she had to do her job and verify it. Then I was told I couldn’t get accurate chargers for services today because there were still claims open from my old insurance they didn’t bill promptly. I was given a referral on a post it note with just the name and address, no phone number. I asked if I can get clarification to what the referral was for, the hygienist got rude and told me well what did the Dentist tell you. Not going back to those mis-managed disgruntled people.

As an adult I not been to the dentist for over ten years due to fear of the needles and the dentist in general. The staff was all very kind and careful. I do not dread going anymore! Our two small children enjoy going to see the dentist. Each visit we are presented with education and great explanations for dental care plans. The newest hygienist Kimberly was very personable and gentle. We are usually sent home with little goody bags as well! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to Mt. Vernon Dentistry . From the moment I walked and checked in, I was greeted by the receptionist and Dr. T herself welcomed me and personally gave me a tour of the facility. She introduced me to everyone and told me what services they offered. Dr. T took her time and got to know me and also a told me a bit about herself. Her approach was very welcoming. The xray tech Kayla was very sufficient in her job. Taking the time to make sure I was comfortable. Afterwards I was greeted by Alexis the hygienist. She took care of the treatment Dr. T recommended and made sure I was ok during the process. Overall the visit was very welcoming and informative. I will definitely be recommending Mt. Vernon Dentistry to family, friends and coworkers.
