Fantastic experience: Yesterday was my first ever time coming here bringing my daughter who is on the autism spectrum. It was her first time ever going to a dentist so I was a little uneasy on how she was going to do and how she would be treated due to her disability but wow my daughter did absolutely amazing for her first time all thanks to the dental assistants and dentist being super kind and gentle working with her as best as they can ! They made us feel very well welcomed and made sure to explain thoroughly what made my daughter needed work on and the steps we can take to not have her overstimulated. I appreciate them taking my daughter’s disability into consideration and being so nice and gentle from the moment we walked in .

Fantastic experience: After going to several other practices in town, My Kids Happy Teeth is a breath of fresh air. Honestly, just happy to be at a place where the staff is kind. Between all of our kids, we have had plenty of different procedures done and they do a great job helping the children feel calm and safe. Sometimes the scheduling is a bit far off but they are busy because they are good!

Fantastic experience: My child is 5 years old and has had treatment here a couple times and comes back for her routinely checkups, I can honestly say the staff is very kind and always tries to comfort my child the best way they can. I believe if she is the RDA that works there is truly amazing & sweet. I would recommend this dentist to any first time pediatric patient.

Negative experience: 40+ min wait time is crazy. don’t understand why there’s an appointment to just wait close to an hour. they ask us to come in early only to have us wait this long.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a great first dental experience. The ladies & dr were friendly and gentle and explained to my daughter what they were going to do before doing it. The wait to be called back wasn’t too long. Waiting area is kinda small and I was kind of bummed they didn’t have some kind of toys while she waited but not that big of a deal. Overall we have a great experience.

Fantastic experience: I brought my girls here after an awful experience that left my oldest child terrified of the dentist. She is treated with the upmost care here and neither of my girls fear going to the dentist anymore. They enjoy going! The office is clean, the staff is friendly and the dentists are wonderful! Fantastic experience: I just took my special needs and medically complex 3 year old son to his very first dentist appointment today. He has hydrocephalus, nonverbal, and other conditions. I’m not the type to leave reviews, but I hope this would help another parent in my position. I was so nervous about today’s appointment, but everything went perfect. Better than I could have ever imagined. They were so kind and gentle with him. My son felt so safe he didn’t even give them a hard time. I also love the precautionary measures they would take if my son ever did need any work done on his teeth. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to take my son. Thank you to the whole team who took care of my son! I’ve met so many different providers due to my son’s conditions, and it’s hard to come across people who genuinely care. Truly in awe. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience: My son is 5 and had to have an extraction. The staff and the dentist herself were incredible, so sweet, attentive and interacted with my son gently and with so much kindness. They made sure he was comfortable. They also proceeded to check on his progress the next day, which I really appreciated. This is care. As a mom, I highly recommend bringing your kids here.

Fantastic experience: When you first walk in their staff greets you with welcoming smiles. Dr. Raj did some fillings for my grandson, and he communicated every step along the way and asked often if my grandson felt any discomfort. My grandson was at ease throughout his procedure. I am very happy with this office and staff.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to my kids happy teeth since my baby was about to turn 1. She is 2 and a half now and every time we come to my kids happy teeth we have a pleasant time. The waiting time isn’t long about 5-15 mins max. The waiting area has a tv for kids to watch while they wait and there is also kids magnets for them to use. The front staff are very friendly and everyone who works there as well.

They were caring, gentle, and really wanted to grasp all of his medical history to come up with the best dental plan for him and that’s exactly what they did. Fantastic experience: My son is in his terrible twos so I was not expecting the visit to go so smooth. The dentist’s assistant was so kind and patient with my son and was able to get him to cooperate with her for his cleaning. I was very impressed not only with her patience but with how my son responded. The rest of the staff is always very friendly as well.

Fantastic experience: My Kids Happy Teeth is a friendly and professional place. I bring my two young girls here, ages 6 and 4. I want to share that the staff-Saira, Bianca, and Breaunna-make my girls' experiences the best they can be. My oldest daughter has anxiety about the dentist, and Saira knew how to handle her treatment and keep her calm. My daughter responded very well and did great with the brushing, check-up, and X-rays. She was as happy as could be. My youngest needed two crowns and a filling. The process went smoothly, and my little girl left the office looking good as new, aside from the anesthesia. Fantastic experience: The staff here is simply amazing. We have been going here for 4 years now, taking our oldest daughter and now her little sister. Our youngest is extremely stand-offish, but the way the staff was so patient and understanding with her, she did so much better than we anticipated. The lobby is pretty small, but they get you in and out of there. It’s clean, friendly, and we are so excited for the new location to open in January!

Positive experience: The people are all very nice but I am unhappy with my son's treatment. When they found 5 teeth that needed to be watched I asked if there was anything we could do to stop cavities from forming. They said no. His next visit all were in need of treatment. Come to find out that there is silver diamine that could have been used to stop the cavities. I asked because I knew they would turn into cavities. I was also told he had 5 small cavities and so sleep dentistry wasn't needed. Well yesterday we go in and im told no he needs two root canal and crowns and that was written in his chart last visit. I was told 5 small cavities. There was no way I was letting my son be tied down for these procedures. I don't know why this happened but I wanted to spare my son having to go through what I went through and I wish I had known about the silver diamine. He is only 4 years old.

Fantastic experience: We just had our very first visit to the dentist for our 1.5-year-old son, and it was a wonderful experience! The office was clean and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. The assistant was so kind and gentle with our son — you could tell she genuinely cared. Dr. Engineer was amazing! She was fully engaged during our visit, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and gave us great tips for caring for our little one’s teeth. She also speaks excellent Spanish our son only speaks spanish, which made communication even easier and more comforting for him. We’re so happy we found this place and definitely plan to keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Raj, as well as all my kids happy teeth staff have continuously gone above and beyond for my son who has sensory difficulties. They have accommodated all of his needs to the best of their abilities in order to make sure both myself as well as my son are comfortable during treatment appointments. They give us options and strategize with me every step of the way. I have never felt like a burden or rushed even when treatment appointments didn’t work out the day of because my son was having a hard time. They have always been understanding and meet him where he is at. I cannot recommend Dr. Raj enough. Thank you my kids happy teeth!

Negative experience: We went in for x-rays and a standard cleaning/follow up. We were seen by Susie. My child apparently bit her by accident while she was instructing her to bite down on the plastic x-ray films. When my child tried to apologize (I first understood that she tried to ask her a question but she told me tried to apologize) she was told to “Shut up.” Susie needs better training on how to treat others and how to handle situations that will happen in her line of work. You don’t speak to children, or people this way.

Fantastic experience: Had a visit this morning for my 3y girl and 10y boy. My girl can not stay still for the life of her and I’m usually scared taking her to new places due to judging but this dentist is by far the best place I have ever brought her to. She sat with the girls in the front office while I sat with my son in the room. They gave her balloons and she colored. I felt a big relief after seeing how they accepted her and didn’t get angry. Def 10/10 recommend this dentist !

Fantastic experience: First time bringing my toddler here and I had a great experience. He also felt very comfortable because he’s very shy and nervous but on the drive home he told me he can’t wait to be back! The waiting lobby has little magnetic tiles they enjoyed playing with and we got called to the back without having to wait hours. They did X-rays pretty quick and then we waited for the dentist to come into the room which also very quick. We didn’t spend more than an hour in total during our visit! I also like how friendly the staff and dentist were, I’m glad I found a dental place my kids feel good and comfortable with! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: We went to My Kids Happy Teeth on Truxton. Such a great experience! My son’s first time. They let me sit in the chair and have him on my lap for X-rays! Gal was super sweet! Then the hygienist was also amazing, talking slow and explaining everything and showing him each tool and what it did. She kept praising him!!! She asked his favorite color cause they get a balloon!! And of course the goody bag with the new Pokémon tooth brush, sparkly tooth paste, floss picks, stickers and a business magnet for the fridge! The Dr came and explained her plan for treatment. She was very sweet. Said his top front teeth are loose too. He said he liked it!! Thank you!!

That alone should say something—but here’s the kicker: we drive FOUR hours each way from Fremont just to see him. Yes—8 hours round trip, and we do it happily. Why? Because Dr. Raj, Dr. Cheryl, and their phenomenal team genuinely care. This isn’t just a pediatric dental office—it’s a place where kids are celebrated, not treated like numbers. From the moment you walk in, the entire staff treats your children with such joy, patience, and heartfelt attention that they actually look forward to coming back. A huge shoutout to Susie, who made X-rays, sealants, and polishing FUN (seriously—fun!). And guess what? No cavities this time! But that’s not even the best part. Dr. Raj noticed a stubborn baby tooth in my oldest mouth and handled it gently and efficiently. Then, he saw a loose one in my youngest and said, “Let’s just let that fall out naturally”—even though he could’ve charged for an extraction. That level of honesty and restraint is rare these days, especially compared to many Bay Area dentists where it often feels more about the bill than the child. Not here. My Kids Happy Teeth is about the kids—not their wallets. Every visit feels like we’re walking into a place where our kids’ health, happiness, and comfort come first. This is how pediatric dentistry should be done. We’re also so excited to hear about their second location opening soon—huge congratulations to the team! And as a parent, I love that I learn something new each time we visit. This time, Dr. Raj gave us a simple but game-changing tip: after brushing, leave the toothpaste in the mouth for 5–10 minutes before rinsing to help it coat and protect the teeth longer. The boys tried it tonight and are actually excited to do it again tomorrow morning and from now on. ✨ If you’re reading this and looking for a pediatric dental home where your kids will genuinely enjoy their visits, where you’ll be treated like family, and where integrity still matters—My Kids Happy Teeth is that rare gem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Negative experience: I made an appointment for my daughter for her tooth pain at 2pm. I called to inform them that I’d be 8 minutes late, they said it was fine. I check in at 2:08pm, waited 30 minutes! I had to ask if I was still checked in, after checking their sign in list they said that they’re going to get a room ready for me now “sorry about that”. I was seen by 2:40pm. At least double check the waiting room to make sure that everyone’s being called accordingly, I waited patiently until the room was empty since it was crowded. Everything went smoothingly there on after.

Fantastic experience: Had an insurance issue, but was able to solve it once I arrived. The technicians were amazing taking my children one at a time to get x-rays and I was able to give them an update of their daily habits. Dentist reviewed each child and gave them a cleaning and no cavities found.

Fantastic experience: Really good service, had entertainment for the kiddos and the everybody was very thorough since I had a lot of questions being the first dentist visit. I was nervous and they all made me feel more comfortable while making my child cooperative when she fights me brushing her teeth.

The staff was so gentle and sweet with him. He got to pick a movie he wanted to watch during the service. It was a great experience!
