Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to First Choice Dentistry for about a little more then five years! I love coming here, always so welcoming and friendly. The staff are super nice and make me feel comfortable with every visit! One of the dentist assistant “Isa” is amazing! I’ve never had issues with any of my fillings, crowns or root canals! Dr. Allen does incredible job and always makes sure I’m comfortable throughout my procedures. My whole family of five comes to this office. Keep up the great work First Choice Dentistry!

A great environment that makes the nervous or typically awkward experience of having a stranger look in your mouth easier to bear and more relaxing. The girl that did my cleaning, Isa, talked me through everything that was happening which made the appointment very informative. Overall great place, would recommend!

Positive experience: In 2021, when I first visited Dr. Mossaei’s offie, they were ready to help when I was experiencing severe pain. He genuinely wants to help, his employees are kind and educated, and the office will answer calls and call back if you miss them. In my last visit during 2024, the original staff I had come to know had been turned over. The new staff was rude and treated me as if I was uneducated of the dental industry. Their prices were highly inflated much more than before. The visits also felt very rushed and unthorough. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I never returned. Unsure if the staff is still rude. But, Dr. Mossaei is a phenomenal dentist and treated his patients with care.

Negative experience: LAST CHOICE DENTISTRY IS MORE LIKE IT. I had no pain and just wanted a cleaning. They took 2.5 hours. They did not clean my teeth. They basically brushed them. They said for the actual cleaning, I needed to come back another day, and they had to give me shots to do it. 4 different sessions of shots and cleaning. They said I needed EIGHT fillings. They said they couldn't do the fillings and cleaning on the same day. I feel like they are just milking the insurance and charging extra for shots every time. At my previous dentist, they would clean my teeth every time without any shots. This dentist will not do it. They billed my insurance for a cleaning which they never gave me. I had to wait a year to be able to actually get my teeth cleaned. This place is doing insurance fraud.

Fantastic experience: As a patient who has had a fear of going to the dentist since I was a young lad. This dentistry went out of their way to keep me calm, relaxed and comfortable throughout my whole visit. 1st of all I want to personally thank Isamar for her service. She really knows her stuff and was super nice, accommodating, professional and funny. So it really did make a difference. Secondly I would like to thank the ladies in the front desk, they got me in fast and easy. Miranda (I believe was her name) was very transparent on what was gonna get done and how much it was gonna cost. She also was kind and sweet and was willing to go out of her way to accommodate my son ( I took my son with me) and lastly but certainly not least I would like to thank the Dentist who worked on me. He was fast and professional and he did his thing I hardly felt anything . I will definitely make this my primary dentistry. Oh I would also like to thank the two other ladies in the back who made my son feel special and heard. They really are ALL awesome here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience! I have a lot of dental anxiety due to autoimmune issues and having some missing adults teeth (born without two ) and they made me feel at ease. They also are not pushy like previous dentist and are really in depth and friendly. Isa was so sweet and caring that I barely had any anxiety. I would definitely recommend this office!

Negative experience: Sadly the good review was only the first visit because they ended up drilling my wisdom with no anesthesia…. I don’t even know. He stormed off after he did it too, it left the assistant with a quivering voice who then told me “yeeeea uclaaaaa is better for dis kinda stuffff”…. I’m devastated tbh

Negative experience: Unfortunately, this place is a scam. My husband and I went here for our first visit, we both got our teeth cleaned. The week after, I went to a periodontist and needed to get my gums checked. They stated that the cleaning was bad, and I still had tartar and plaque. They had to do a deep cleaning that they split up into 2 days. They did one side on one day and another on the second day. They took an hour for each side. This dentist did my cleaning in 15 minutes. Secondly, when my husband's teeth were evaluated, this dentist stated that he needs crowns and has 6 cavities and would have to pay around 2k for that. We went to a different dentist for a second opinion, turns out my husband only has 2 cavities and needed no crowns. Save your money!!! And teeth!

Fantastic experience: First Choice Dentistry is very skilled and professional. As part of my treatment plan I was referred to UCLA. When I went to the dentist at UCLA, the team there “ooohed and ahhhed” at the work that had been done on my mouth by First Choice. They were so impressed. They confirmed the plan given to me by First Choice Dentistry and told me I was in very good hands. I am so grateful! The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Amazing dentist, great office. Negative experience: Amazing customer service, quick appointments….but they don’t give a proper cleaning I was attending this office for around 3 years….I assumed everything was fine with my teeth because it was a quick 5-10 cleaning A friend told me about the office they attend, and how they performed their deep cleaning. I decided to switch dental offices and finally received a proper cleaning At first choice they never cleaned inside the gums

Negative experience: Gave this place a try and was very impressed at first. I was offered to get all my feelings changed for free if I left a good review. The dentist was very rude. He hurt me multiple times (even though i stopped him to let him know) to the point where I cried, and I am not a crier. He didn’t finish my teeth correctly or fill them correctly and made them uneven where my jaw doesn’t close properly anymore from my bite being off.

Negative experience: I went to this place to have some work done in the beginning the Doctor was very nice but after he did a job Everything changed I went back to have a fix and he was telling me that I had to do other stuff so that i don't have a problem but he did not say anything in the beginning He almost took 4 hours to do my root canal ,we are self pay if you are too ...I Suggest to make more research where you going to spend you money..... And the other hand that stuff is next level They even do better job than the own Doctor All the employees they are very nice and when they talk to you they look at you when a Doctor talk to you they look like somewhere else it even put attention whatever you wanted to ask

Fantastic experience: Great service! I had lots of needed dental care and treatments done throughout the last month, and had great experiences everytime. The staff from the front desk to assistants to the doctor, have all made me comfortable with any treatment being done for health and cosmetics.

Negative experience: I went in for a simple cleaning and was disappointed by the lack of professionnalisme. After waiting for over an hour the dentist rushed through the exam. After asking a simple question he seemed annoyed and started poking my gums from far away using only one hand with his mirror tool while talking to me. After that the hygenist barely did anything just applied tooth polish and floride. After this exam and cleaning I went back for my fillings. While I was waiting I overheard the receptionist say they only do silver fillings so I stopped the dental assitant and asked if they were using silver or white fillings so the dentist had her play me a video about onlays instead of expaining anything to me himself then the assitant lied to me saying my insurance will not cover it then backtracked and said its the dentist preference and backtracked a third time saying Its not possible to use white filling and suggested they do an onlay. I confirmed this is not true by calling a more trusted source.

Positive experience: I’m having a problem with a filled tooth. I was told two-three months time would allow the sensitivity to go away. The sensitivity is getting worse. I think the tooth was beyond repair with a filling. Update: I don’t have issues with the tooth anymore. It just took many months for the sensitivity to subside.

Positive experience: My first treatment there was getting a porcelain crown. I didn’t get the dental assistants name but she wasn’t very patient with me. I have horrible gag reflex so putting a mouth guard made me more nervous. She seemed very annoyed of me and I hope she realizes that not everyone find the dentist a comforting place. It can be scary. HOWEVER, my second time going, I had a way better experience. Both the doctor and the dental assistant were very kind, gentle and explained what was going on. They both talked to me and that definitely made me feel so much more comfortable and more calm. Maybe because of that, I had no issue with opening & keeping my mouth open wide. The porcelain crown fit like a glove! They asked me like 3x how it fit, if I liked it, showed me with a mirror. Thank you Dolores for making me experience way more comforting & helpful. Fantastic experience: I hadn’t seen a dentist in over ten years so I was very nervous coming in to first choice dentistry. But the staff and doctor are very friendly and helpful and gave me a treatment plan. The treatment plan (included root canals and crowns) went very well and was almost painless! If there was any pain or discomfort the doctor and staff were very nice and would offer more numbing agent. Overall I very much recommend first choice dentistry.

Negative experience: I absolutely love Dr. Mossai, and I’ve been a patient for over 3 years. As of late the office staff has been horrible and giving me a horrible experience to the point where I’ve decided to get a new dentist. I could go into detail, but I’m not even going to bother. Just know that they cost me unnecessary time, energy, and money. I wish I could stay because the dentist is the absolute best I’ve seen, but I can’t tolerate their office staff giving me the runaround.

Negative experience: They initially said they accepted my insurance. After doing x rays and everything they said they didn’t and I needed thousands of dollars worth of work and to set up my next appointment! They also said I had 18 cavities meanwhile TWO other dentistries said I only had 3. Then when I paid to have my x rays sent to another dentistry they sent someone else’s. I do not have a common name at all so this was a very irresponsible mistake. Not sure why I was treated this way when they have good reviews
