Fantastic experience: I really love the professional service of the dental staff. Dr Brittney Cruz is awesome and gives a great breakdown of what needs to be addressed with my teeth. Her assistant Destiny is awesome as well. Lance did a great job with my cleaning with no pain due to my sensitivity issues. The front desk receptionist are great and ensure that they give reminders of my appointments!

Fantastic experience: They were very quick to take care of my needs. I would highly recommend them. The stuff were very professional and helpful during my time of need. They also took my new insurance which I was highly concerned about if you're not sure about your insurance. Please call them the prices were great.

Fantastic experience: The best anesthesia numbing I have ever received. No discomfort at all. The extraction was with out the most effective I have ever experienced. Little to no bleeding and already healed. That little Dentist needs 10 gold stars + a huge hug. You got my busyness! Thanks for a job very well done.

Fantastic experience: 6/9/2026 I went for my routine cleaning. Since I have a new Medicare Advantage plan, I shared it with Mary. She checked my policy. We discussed x-rays and she told me that I wouldn't need new ones for this visit. I informed Mary that I wanted the fluoride treatment. She processed my request and said it would cost $23. Monica, the hygienist, did an outstanding job! Sadly, it was her last week before she moved. In all, everyone at Castle Dental was prompt, polite and very helpful. I left feeling great about my oral health and how I was treated at Castle Dental!

Negative experience: I actually ended up at this place because my previous dental insurance provider had no other options. I’ve known the practice for over four years; initially, it was good because the administrative staff was excellent and the dentists were very skilled—I want to highlight the orthodontist in particular. However, everything has changed so much that I don't want to go back. The current orthodontist is a terrible professional; she never greets me kindly or even says hello. All I hear from her is "open your mouth," "close your mouth," and "smile," and she spends less than five minutes on the appointment. For me—traveling over half an hour just to see this kind of specialist—it has been a terrible experience. Unfortunately, I am nearing the end of my orthodontic treatment; I still have check-ups scheduled, but I no longer want to return to the practice. I don't understand why so many healthcare professionals lack empathy—especially given that their profession demands it, and I am certainly not visiting a veterinarian. It’s not just me who feels this way; the entire clientele and even the staff themselves are uncomfortable with this professional. Cast Dental, I have a question: isn't there another professional (orthodontist) available for your clients? I hope I don't receive worse treatment because of this comment, but I cannot remain silent about poor service that I paid for; I hope this helps improve things and encourages that lady to reflect a bit—as a human being, first and foremost, rather than just as a dentist.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE FOR ORTHO/BRACES!!! Their doctor turnover is so poor they’ll have you driving to Austin and Waco just to get an appointment. They are severely understaffed and therefore stressed, rude, and dismissive. By the time I finished my 2 year braces treatment I had been under the care of 5 different Castle orthodontist in 3 different cities. They also REFUSED do deep clean my teeth during that 2 year span so I had to get my teeth cleaned elsewhere.

Takes his time and is not aggressive. A gentle and thorough professional. It's the second time he sees my wife and I. We hope he stays at this location for a long time. Very clean location. Fast service and on time with our appointments. We highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: Staff is rude and unprofessional. Requested to stay within the limits of the insurance for a cleaning and they refused. I understand a recommendation for a deep cleaning but we requested a basic cleaning, I think their goal is to run up a big bill. Not cool.

Negative experience: What they are doing cannot be legal. I booked an appointment for my daughter after confirming they accept children. I completed all intake forms listing her age, and when they called to verify insurance, I again provided her date of birth. On the day of her appointment, they performed the exam, and only afterward told me they do not see children under 7 and could only offer a referral. Why was I not called ahead of time so the appointment could be canceled? I could have scheduled with an office that actually treats children. Why is it not listed anywhere, why does their website list children of ALL ages? The exam room had a stack of referral forms at the desk, which suggests this is a known issue. Now, when I try to schedule elsewhere, each provider requires their own exam and X-rays, meaning I must pay out of. They billed my insurance but provided no usable services. To me, this appears to be intentional, as they had multiple opportunities to identify my child’s age before the appointment and still proceeded. I have begun the process of reporting this to my insurance company. They are listed as the provider on my insurance card, which means when they became contracted, they had to state that they accept children.

The front desk staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the dental team-though I don’t know all their official titles-showed such kindness, encouragement, and professionalism throughout my visits. Dr. Cruz is gentle, patient, and reassuring, which made a big difference for me. I also appreciated how proactive they were during the recent inclement weather. Not only did I receive a text about the schedule change, but I also got a personal call to check on my safety and confirm a new date. That level of care matters. Today, I was seen right at my appointment time. Pricing was explained clearly and upfront, and they made sure I understood exactly what procedures would be done before we started. It’s rare to find a dental office that blends efficiency, compassion, and excellent communication so well. If you really fear going to the dentist like I did ; the team there will do whatever they can to calm you so you’re comfortable when they have to do the work you need done. They’ll answer any questions you may have without making you feel dumb or like you’re being a baby about it !!! Like I said this place is amazing! Don’t worry if you aren’t rockafella and don’t have the money for treatment like that they’ll create a fair affordable and workable treatment plan for you ! I mean it when I say Castle is definitely the best place to come for Dental work hands down !!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m always concerned when I need to get dental work done. One bad experience is all it takes to keep you away. During my first visit it was organized, clean and the employees were courteous. Ms. Tee immediately gave me good vibes and a smile telling me not to worry. She was excellent with her treatment. Dr. Murni immediately addressed all my concerns with a clinical and experience eye. During any long waits they advised me of what was happing. Then Ms. Sharon assisted me and provided such great dental coverage information I felt secure about my dental plan. Excellent care!

Fantastic experience: Staff was very friendly and the lady who took my xrays was very patient with me since i have issues when it comes to getting films of my teeth.

Positive experience: I normally have great and speedy service. I have had to deal with a very unprofessional tech named Brittany at the Killeen location. She is very rude and unable to control her emotions. Even gone as far as being very aggressive when adjusting my braces causing harm to my gums. She has tried on several occasions to argue with me after jumping from the pain and has gotten even more upset after my refusal to speak engage in a back and forth. I’ve had to explain to her on several different occasions that I would like not to have a conversation but to get my adjustment and leave the office and she’s stormed away offended while having me laid back for an extensive amount of time to get someone else all while being pregnant. Other than dealing directly with her, I have had several positive interactions with the techs and love the environment.

Fantastic experience: This is the 1st time with Castle and very impressed with staff and doctor. Gave me a diagonosis no other dentist has given very detailed. So far so good!

Negative experience: Castle Dental in Killeen some SCAMMERS. The staff is so nice BUT they gun tell you everything under the sun is wrong with your mouth. They said I needed a $202 deep cleaning , with $450 worth of localized delivery of control released antibiotics (because they say they can’t give an oral pill form antibiotic) for my gums….. I go back to my old dentist to get a second option & im fine. Just a month overdue for a regular cleaning.

Negative experience: I've used the Castle Dental in Waco and Houston and have had GREAT experiences. My 1st appointment at this location was awesome. The dentist and his assistant were kind and knowledgeable. Raven took my appointment and was also very friendly.....CUT TO 8 MONTHS LATER and here I sit with missing teeth and a partial that has been paid for BUT NOT COMPLETED and an office manager who refuses to call me back! I am humiliated for the way I have been left to look. It has have a negative effect on my personal and professional life. My mold has been taken and messed up 4 times. I have missed MANY hours off of work and I am a single Mom. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE UNTIL THEY CAN GET IT TOGETHER….. Today is 2/11 and here I sit STILL no refund. They still refuse to give me the number to corporate they’re holding up almost $600 of mine keeping me from going to any other dentist with a down payment. That’s theft. I guess the only recourse I have at this point is to hire an attorney

Positive experience: Dr Hassan and Dr Beltran are outstanding. Very professional and helpful. Beware however of insurance plan/estimates/resulting charges. I was extremely upfront about my financial capabilities. I am insured in network. They insisted I had to have oral surgery. When billed Met Life paid them. They accepted and cashed the check but because Met Life paid less they want me to reimburse them almost $500 out of my pocket in addition to an overpayment by me of $284. Beware because per Met Life that is not supposed to be part of their network agreement with them. Really nice people. Good work but this is dire to me $. I was upfront. Not sure they were as careful with me but they are appealing and hopefully we can resolve.

Negative experience: I went to this dentist last year, October 2023, for a new pair of dentures. I was sent to Austin for a CT scan and the day I went; the doctor was not there (they scheduled the CT scan for me, but the doctor was on maternity leave I was told), and they had to reschedule my CT scan for another day. Mind you, I'm traveling from Killeen and took the day off from work. I finally returned several weeks later to Austin for the scan and although I had applied for financing and was approved for $2000, the Austin office had no information on this. I had to sit and wait for over an hour until they cleared things with the Killeen office. I still had to pay a $50 co-pay out of pocket anyway because they were not clear on the amount I had been approved for. Then I finally got an appointment about 4 months later at the Killeen office for a review of the scan and a plan for the new dentures. I saw Dr. Farrell and I thought we finally had things moving to only find out no one knew what the plans were when I went for the second visit and saw Dr. Hassan. I was impressed with the process he explained needed to happen. He took the first impressions to start working on temporary dentures. I was supposed to come in two weeks later for another fitting. I had to continuously call to get the appointment because the office kept telling me they were going to call me back with an appointment and no one ever returned the calls. When I finally got an appointment, it was months later and this time it was an appointment with Dr. Murni. He asked for the CT scan, but no one knew where that scan was. Then he asked for the previous impression taken by Dr. Hassan, those impressions were lost too. We had to start again from scratch. I've had three separate impressions taken by Dr. Murni and was supposed to go in for the last fitting last week. When I saw no one was calling me with the appointment I called. I was told by Mary that Ms. Sharon would call me back to schedule that appointment. I never received a call. Then I called again last Friday and spoke to Emmanuel, again I was told “someone” would call me back because Dr. Murni had left the practice. I never received that call for an appointment. I decided to give them a few more days and called today only to find out that Ms. Sharon the office manager, had also left the practice and there was only one doctor available to see patients and no one had his calendar but the managers who were all in some conference and would not be available until Monday to see about giving me an appointment. I am paying $82 every month for financing to the Austin office and $36 for some financing I supposedly got at the Killeen office that did not get added to the financing approved for by the Austin office. Plus I pay $60 for Delta Dental and I pay about $10 through my Employer for MetLife dental and the Killeen office has yet to submit any claims to my insurance companies so I can get help with my dentures, exams, x-rays, and CT scan. I have been paying your office for about 8 months now. Where are my dentures? Where is my CT scan and what are you guys doing? This is a horrible way to treat your patients!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Castle on Trimmer are all professional. Two of them stood out at my appointment. I only wish I would have gotten their names. The 1st was the young lady that was helping with or making the appointments. There was a lady that was in the office and realized that she didn't have want she needed to have for her appointment. She needed to go home and come back, but didn't drive. The assistant told her that is was ok and it wasn't a problem. The next available was 12:30. After waiting on her ride the lady asked that the 12:30 appointment to be changed. She wouldn't make it home a back before the time. The assistant again told her no problem. She made her another appointment for some time in November. After still waiting for her ride to arrive, (i guess she thought about it)the lady asked if there was an early appointment. She was advised that was the earliest, but if there was a cancellation she would call her. The lady was still waiting on her ride. Some time passed, the assistant asked "mam are you able to be back by 3:30"? She said yes and seemed so happy for the change. Though out the whole ordeal, the lady behind the counter was very accommodating, positive, understanding and just downright pleasant. I saw all this waiting to be seen. It made me feel good. the 2nd person. Was the young lady taking the x-rays!! OMG!! How efficient and quick was she. You could tell she's done that a couple of weekends! And just as pleasant. She told you exactly what she was doing and what was going to be the next step! She made sure you were comfortable after you moved to the next room. All the staff was full of smiles, friendly and warm. They were busy but made sure you felt welcomed and appreciated! Thanks Castle!! You guys rock!

I was pleased with the service from the moment they answered the first phone call to schedule my first patient appointment to the appointment and follow up appointments for further treatments. Fantastic experience: I am so very thankful to Castle Dental - Killeen Texas. They literally fix my two front teeth- giving me my smile back!!! The dentist and dentist assistants there are so gentle and understanding. This week, I had a special cleaning due to receding gums. The technician who performed this procedure gave me the best of these type of cleanings that I ever had! I feel valued as a patient. Thank you - Castle Dentist!!!

On the day of my surgery 8/28 everyone that treated me was very loving and made me feel very comfortable cause I sure was very nervous. Procedure went well and the surgeon called me to check up on. Negative experience: I want to start by saying I grew up with my sister as a dental hygienist. I am very familiar with dentist offices and have never been a difficult patient. That being said, this was probably the worst experience I've had at any dentist. Everything felt rushed and my concerns were obviously not listened too since there was confusion when confirming my concern. Was not confident in the xrays taken, given the ONE machine they had moved from the designated spot after the assistant LITERALLY ran back and forth between the machine and computer to initiate the xray. I mentioned that I had a sharp piece on the inside of my bottom molar, that especially when getting teeth cleaned becomes very sharp and makes my tongue sore. Not sure how much more straight forward I could've been, but I had to reiterate multiple times to the assistant just for it to be written down completely wrong for the tech that came in to check my gums to be confused when reading the notes. The tech that came in and checked my gums was fine up until my tongue was pushed over my throat. I was fine for about 5 seconds before I started putting my hand up to let him know to stop. Waved my hand around even, and was ignored. I finally had to sit completely up because i was choking on my own tongue. I didn't move it because I didn't want to get stabbed since he was still checking. After recovering, I let him finish and without any consultation of sort, claimed that I needed an additional in depth cleaning. Where he was probably right, there was no talking about it, and with me being aware of my finances I needed reassurance that there was no additional cost from what was already established. "As long as it was covered by insurance" I said. I was not responded with anything along the lines of "let me get this approved or looked at" , no I was responded to with "there's about 900 insurances out there". Felt like a money grab at that point. That was strike 2 for me. Strike three was when the technician turned his back I looked at the tools that were being used. Though i have no doubt they were sterile, I was not happy with the fact they looked tarnished. They were definitely old and I was not happy knowing they were in my mouth. I took a picture of them and walked out. There was nothing personable with this visit and was very much so "wham, bam, thank you ma'am".

Negative experience: The staff are pleasant, however, we waited 30 minutes beyond the appointment time before we were called. An appointment for a consultation that should have taken no more than 45 minutes took 90 minutes. Half the staff had no idea how to do their jobs. Overall, it was a less than optimal experience.

Negative experience: Felt very judged and all employees were very unprofessional. Placement for X-rays was painfully digging into the roof of my mouth leaving cuts in my gums. Doctor was shaking his head and taking big sighs like he was annoyed I hadn’t had a cleaning due to not having insurance for 5 years. Told me everything was fine besides needing a “DEEP CLEANING” which my insurance (Tricare) coincidentally didn’t cover. Said that’s the only work I needed. Which I knew wasn’t true because 5 years prior I was told I needed a retainer to sleep with due to grinding in sleep, along with needing two wisdom teeth extractions. Seems very unprofessional and judgmental the whole time. Was told I’d get an exam to check for gum disease and cancer and that my insurance covers it then didn’t even do that exam. Doctor looked in my mouth for a total of 2 minutes poking gums in only two spots for over a minute causing pain and making them bleed. The entire visit seemed off and not right. They want me to pay over 1500 for a deep cleaning. I have dental insurance through United Concordia for a reason you’d think it would cover a deep cleaning. Seems these people just wanted money because the gentlemen in the front advised me to call the insurance to get it approved myself over the phone before signing the liability agreement when it comes to charges. and the lady scheduling rolled her eyes at him like he needed to be quiet so they could just charge me the 1500 and get my signature. Again I left feeling horrible about myself and felt very judged. I will not go back here for work at all, and if I get a bill in the mail, I’m taking them to small claims. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Fantastic experience: Castle Dental is excellent. I had a denture procedure this past Wednesday and the staff was very comforting. They described the pre, during and post procedure and aftercare several times to ensure I knew what was going to take place. David Beltran and staff hats off to you. Sharon the office manager makes you feel like family. She missed me at check in but came to my room to make sure everything was going well. Thanks to the staff at Castle Dental. You have a customer for life here.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at the office are friendly and respectful starting with the front desk to the hygienists and dentists. They do a really great job and have a positive attittude. I have had no issues for myself or my family.

Fantastic experience: Came in as a new patient. The office manager Mrs. Sharon was very welcoming and inviting, she set the tone to make the environment relaxing and calm. Negative experience: have been waiting for over 1 month for a refund on incomplete service. multiple request thru their website went unanswered. we were promised a refund by the office manager within 15 business days but have yet to receive. supposedly it has to come from corporate headquarters. just say no to castle dental.

Fantastic experience: I just left this dental office and I had a really great experience. First, Sharon was amazing at helping with my check in and then helping explain my treatment plan with costs in great detail. She was patient and very thorough. Then, Tee was the dental assistant/hygienist that was amazing! She was very welcoming and while she was doing my X-rays, she even spotted things that no other dentist that I have been to prior, has spotted and told me. She was a great help with helping Dr. Murni in my treatment plan. Also, Dr. Murni was great. He walked in and just by glancing at my X-rays, he was able to diagnose things quickly before looking into my mouth. He was very honest with the issues I had and worked hard to refer me to the right people to fix my teeth. Also, he was very funny and comfortable to be around. Sharon and Tee felt like home. Talking and joking with them made the dental office feel like home and a good time, and made it less scary. Thank you guys!!!!

Fantastic experience: Sharon the office manager was great ! She went above and beyond to help me out. She went out her way to make sure I had the best experience and even went out of her way to make sure that I get the dental work I need the cheapest possible! The X-ray technician T was great as well!!! Thank you for everything!

Negative experience: I went to this place with my daughter they called her told her come in early which was 3 at 450 still not seen not one word to us about the wait finally I ask what was going on I get oh the treatment plan on the patient before us is taking longer but no word to us sitting in there for almost 2 hours while the receptionist dances behind desk ask how much longer she says I cancelled the appointment u can call and make another this was minutes before 5 in which they close all they had to do was keep us informed nothing they called us to move appointment up never in my Life have I experienced such unprofessionalism we drove 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back home life is too precious to send that much time at a dentist office and then no service very disappointed in this place and how they treat their patients

Fantastic experience: The service that was provided to my mom was exceptional. The dentist Dr. Musunuri was so patient with my mom. The staff Ms Mary, Ms. Sharon and Tee really spoiled my mom and took care of her as if she was their own mom. I thank you ladies for all that you done for my mom. CASTLE DENTAL ROCKS!!!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter was seen here for tooth pain. They were able to get her in on a Saturday which helped a lot! Mrs. Tee the assistant was so helpful and made getting my 10 year old x-rayed a breeze. The staff was very kind and the dentist made sure we understood what the problem was. Fantastic experience: My experience was wonderful when taking into consideration why I was there. The staff were great and the doctor was awesome and patient with me. I tend to have some serious anxiety the moment I step into a dental office but each person with this particular office helped to put me at ease. This was especially helpful as I was having a tooth removed. This experience was 1000 times better than my first tooth extraction experience several years ago. Much appreciation to everyone in the Killeen office!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at the Castle Dental Clinic on Trimmer Road. The staff very customer friendly and assisted me with Amy questions that I had. The dentist was great, explained everything he was doing throughout my procedure. Will definitely be going back there for any dental work I need.

Negative experience: Stayed for as long ad I did because Dr.Kao is amazing. His front end staff are the hight of unprofessionalism, however.The office manager wants to act like someones mother, and reprimand them while voicing your concerns. They cancel appointments on you with zero explanations, you wait on your appointment and they forget about you, then reschedule appointments and end up canceling those too. It is always the same excuse… they don’t have dentists or someone no longer works there. They act snotty that you haven't been there in a while for a teeth cleaning but how can anyone if they keep canceling appointments and then act like you never had said appointment. The place is dirty, smells unclean, dust all over the waiting area, give you chewed up pens to use, and the equipment is outdated. They also will always refer you to the same ortho even if you request to go elsewhere. Best of luck to you if you use them.

Fantastic experience: I had a morning appointment the staff up front was so nice. The tech that brought me to the back for X-ray was gentle and kind. Now the dentist he was so sweet gentle and listen to me with no rushing me. Dr. Kao wonderful made me feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: This is an awesome dental office. Quiet, comforting dentist is a new experience for my husband but that's what you will find here. The receptionist was helpful and efficient and our dental assistant Jennifer was absolutely wonderful.

Negative experience: The worst dental office in killeen by a long shot. If you’re thinking about getting orthodontic treatment here, run. I reviewed treatment for 11 months and my teeth remained the same. Not only that, they practically scream your business in a lobby full of people. The most unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had really bad anxiety about any dental work since I was a kid. It’s my own problem. Dr. Kao and Jennifer, his assistant, took it on like it was their own. I was able to get a deep cleaning done on my gums only because of their patience and empathy. I seriously can’t commend them enough. I’d send my family here. Thank you for a great experience

Negative experience: I wish I would have read the reviews before getting work done here. The dentist and hygienist were very professional, the front desk staff on the other hand are very unprofessional, rude and discuss so much personal stuff at the front they don't seem to care . I've gone twice, was quoted an amount before hand , same amount over the phone then I get to my appointment and it was a little more expensive. Now since having the cleaning I'm in pain, noone is answering at the Killeen location, I called the Austin location and was told that someone would call me back, still waiting on that call. I'm currently looking for a new dentist

Negative experience: Goodness...too many issues to list. I will say one thing though, if you are short handed then for crying out loud STOP TAKING IN MORE WORK!!! When you do this the patient suffers and subsequently so does your business. DON'T GO, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!! Please do not respond with your lame cut and pasted response requesting me to follow some link and provide you with more details, you do not need more details as I've provided you with enough and so has everyone else for that matter. Stop asking for more details and start actually making some changes...let's try that shall we?

Fantastic experience: This office changed my outlook on dentists. I've had lots of bad experiences that cause me a lot of anxiety. Dr Kao was very calm and understanding. He communicated well the procured I needed done and what the process would be. I had a bit of a panic attack while getting numbed but his calm demeanor really helped me ground myself and I was able to get my full deep clean done. All of the staff are amazing and kind. Negative experience: The dentist and his staff were great, but the front of the house the customer service is horrible. You call and they don’t answer the phones at all, you leave a voicemail and they don’t return the call. You walk in when they aren’t busy and they continue to talk about something that not pertaining to work and tell you to wait. Than when you get done with the exam and they go over the charges or what they maybe and you question is the head lady gives you a nasty look of disgust. I even had a chart of what my costs should be from my insurance company and she questioned me on it. She was very unprofessional and I will never ever go back to Castle dental!!!

Negative experience: HORRIBLE FRONT DESKS. The office Manager, SHAWN, who states she is the office manager is sooooo rude. I had an appointment on January 16th, 2023. That initial experience was horrible. I was informed that the representative would email me my final documents from that day. I didn't receive an email. I called to the office today at 3:50 PM and reached Shawn, who states she is an office manager. She was beyond rude. She told me that the documents was emailed to me on January 16th at 4:00 PM . I informed her that I haven't or didn't receive it. She tried to tell me it was sent. I requested the email address it was sent from. Shawn, initially did not want to provide any information. She came back and claimed that they received a message saying my "inbox was too full", which is totally incorrect. This is my personal email I use on an everyday basis with no problems and never had this issue before. I requested if Shawn could forward the documents to a different email. She specifically said NO. She also stated, "you going to have to come up here and get it" because we can't keep sending these documents to different emails. But how have you been sending it to different emails when you just informed me that the email originally didn't get sent. I called back for assistance with getting my referrals faxed over to the Oral surgeon and receiving my final paperwork from my appointment on January 16, 2023. Shawn specifically stated they don't fax anything, they only email. The oral surgeon requested the documents to be faxed. I asked Shawn if she can spell her name for me, and she said NO. She asked me if there was anything else she could help with me. She never helped me. I asked if I could politely speak with someone different, she told me NO. She said she is the only office manager and the only one that I can speak to and no I cannot speak with anyone else. I use to attend the Castle Dentals in Austin, which had better customer service and a better overall experience. These are the individuals you employ and are a representation of your company
