If you don't have dental insurance they will help you with that and even come up with a plan for you...they don't force you to do anything you don't want to do either. Fantastic experience: Mercedes was an awesome Dental Hygienist. She explained my treatment plan and explained the entire process to me. Unfortunately, this is the second time that I could not receive my screening from the Doctor. Nonetheless, Mercedes is awesome in what she does.

Negative experience: If I could give a negative star I would ! This place is horrible they canceled my appointment twice, after I take off work two separate times for this one appointment! They are very rude and unprofessional! I took off for my appointment today only to be canceled when way earlier in the day claiming to be because of the weather… mind you this was a 2pm appointment it wasn’t snowing today only a little rain …..

Negative experience: I do not recommend Coast Dental due to the staff's lack of professionalism. My daughter was coerced into having her treatment interrupted to take a corporate staff photo without her consent or knowledge. She was led to believe it was for an x-ray, but when one of the women on staff barged into the room during my daughter's cleaning, she impatiently stated to my daughter words to the effect of "we're ready, everyone's waiting!" The hygenist stopped cleaning my daughter's teeth to join the others. My daughter felt obligated to take their precious corporate photo. The staff didnt have the courtesy to apologize for their behavior afterwards, and I wasnt there to prevent their shabby treatment. The hygienist resumed the cleaning after the photo was taken, but I didn't appreciate my daughter's cleaning being interrupted. The staff was unprofessional and displayed entitled expectations. I reported the incident to Nancy who identified herself as the "office manager" and gave her a few days to contact me back with a resolution. No surprise that I haven't heard back. This company has lost another long-time patron due to its inability to retain quality staff members. We're done.

Fantastic experience: Today, I had my first cleaning with Mercedes. I cannot recommend her enough!!! I am a person who has anxiety before getting into the chair. I know all the tricks to settle my nerves, the best I can: wear earbuds with a carefully planned playlist, wear a comfy hoodie, so you can lay back and snuggle into something for comfort, and so on. It just so happens that today's cleaning was going to be an invasive one, to the point that it is scheduled as half of your teeth one visit and the other half the next visit. It's too much to do all at once. Needless to say, anxiety was high! I go in and meet Mercedes, and to my pleasant surprise, she was just the most joyful precious human! I brief her a little bit on why I am such a baby...lol. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease. You guys, the sort of cleaning I had to have done today required her to go deep below my gums on each tooth. When I booked my appointment initially, I kept hearing words like....invasive, deep cleaning, root planing.....scary words! However, I didn't feel any of that! Every time she would reach for something, I would think: okay here it comes, this is it, here we go! And then nothing!!! No pain!!! So she starts to talk to me, and I have to pause my playlist to hear her. I realize she is telling me what a good job I have done. I'm processing her words and I'm beginning to catch on that we are all done!!! What?!?! She didn't speed through, as this appointment was over an hour. But she navigated it in such a way that I didn't feel anything. She is a very talented, skilled, precious person!!! If you are looking for a hygienist, please make an appointment with her!!! I will be back myself, in a few weeks!! And I don't have any anxiety over it. She gave me a gift today by removing that. I'm so grateful!

Positive experience: Love the staff truly do. But the turn around for a crown is absolutely ridiculous. I have had a temporary for now going on 12 weeks 3 different fittings never once fit. It’s so frustrating due to the fact that I payed 1100.00 to get this all done to continuously get the run around. Especially due to the fact that when rescheduling is asked for by staff it’s the day before an appointment and I work at a bank so I have to replan these days ahead of time . Honestly like I said staff is great but turn around is horrible!

Negative experience: I visited this dentist for a crown on a tooth that had a previous root canal. The dentist told me that because I waited too long, the tooth needed to be extracted. When I asked if there was any way to save the tooth, he said it was impossible. Fortunately, I sought a second opinion, and another dentist was able to treat the tooth and successfully install the crown. If you need a crown, I would recommend seeking care elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: My favorite thing about going to Coast Dental is the kindness I receive from Laura. I dread dentist visits, however, she always puts me at ease. She is always making sure that I’m okay and not feeling too much discomfort during my cleanings. She is excellent at her job and her kindness makes all the difference. Negative experience: Unfortunately, I had an appointment today for a cleaning. My son also had an appointment. My appointment was stopped because I was told my husband had been waiting for me only to find out. It was my son and they had canceled his appointment. Neither lady at the front desk wanted to take accountability. I was told I spoke to the call center when I in fact called the actual office. I left without getting a filling that I was told was coming out of my tooth a needed to be replaced right then! By the time they finally figured out the confused my sons spot with my husband even though one is 21 and the other is 48! They told me I couldn’t get the filling done that day but had to wait almost a month!!! incompetency at its finest. no one wanted to take accountability. I will never come here again for an appointment I would advise everyone else not to

Fantastic experience: I struggle with severe anxiety which makes it extremely difficult for me to stay calm when dental work needs to be done, but Irene and Dr Nayak were amazing and helped me throughout the process judgement free and made me feel at ease! I have a terrible gag reflex and they worked around this providing service to me with no problems, the first time in years! They made me comfortable and worked together seamlessly as a team. I’d also like to recognize Mary, front office who assisted with appointments and paperwork, extraordinary customer service. No one likes going to the dentist but with these exceptional professional staff, I ALMOST look forward to my next appointment!

Positive experience: At first it felt more like a family. It has turned corporate and cold. There is a technician that should be shaping ALL teeth. They made me cry they looked so real. Leke has outshined everyone.

Fantastic experience: Honestly I love this dentist. I never feel bad about my teeth when I go here. Everyone is always so nice. I have been putting off dental work for so long, and I’m glad I came here.

Negative experience: Do not go here. I promise you! This place is a smoking mirror. They can not keep staff here long term. Newer patients might not know this places history. Since 2021 they have been through 3 different orthodontist. And can't find another one to work there. Each time they lose an orthodontist there is a gap in care and service for patients. They force them to just sit and wait with braces on with no treatment. My son's going on 6 months with no treatment because they dont have an orthodontist.  There is no one there to even take them off. We have requested a refund and a change in service but we can't never get a call back or anyone to answer. When we talk to Korey the office manager, she says there is nothing she can do, she is just the middle person and we have to contact their Florida office. Their Florida office never answers or calls back.  The office manager says she can not give us the information to contact District or a manager higher than her. Only she can contact them. How can I trust she is contacting them to get back to us, when no one is getting back to us for 3 months now. I call corporate daily and no one answers 99% of the time.  If I get a answer they say they will leave a message for someone to call me, no one calls.

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional and felt huge lack of care here. Thankful at least they referred me somewhere else who took care of exactly want I wanted! Will not be returning or giving them any of my money! Almost had to take a loan out for unnecessary work!!! AVOID THIS PLACE.

Fantastic experience: I went in to have my permanent bridge and crowns put in. It went well up until I was getting ready to leave. At that point I was informed that my next appointment for a partial plate would be next. I distinctly remember telling someone that I did NOT want a partial plate when this all started. I am a bit confused and wonder if that is why my bill almost DOUBLED on my initial appointment! At the time I was informed it was due to my insurance not covering my bridgework after all! Good grief! This is concerning!

Fantastic experience: The hygienist Katrina was amazing. I will definitely come back to her. The last one I had was not so good there. I’m glad she is there.

Fantastic experience: Good and prompt service, caring and kind nurses, professional and efficient doctor. They put a bridge that was made well and perfectly fit. The extraction caused no pain and any discomfort. I highly recommend the clinic that was actually recommended by one of my students.

Negative experience: As a Retired Service Member and now Educator , I am for a second time in less than six weeks dissatisfied and disappointed with the service provided by Costal Dental after a recent positive three year customer/ provider relationship. All I asked for is a teeth cleaning , after paying for x - rays "as I was told I had to get" before cleaning or a recommended deep cleaning ...nothing more . Never had these issues when I was a Senior Active Duty Service Member with Braces in Which they serviced, the then staff was very accommodating , thank you to the remaining front office team. When did their Business Model, leadership and mission statement change from meeting the paying costumers Needs and desire to what they think the customers needs are. While I value and Respect the providers recommendations , all I ask is do what “I” the paying customer is paying you to do and Not what you want me to do in order to increase your profits from your actions Respectfully . I fully understand the " Bait and Switch concept"....which is what I think happened in my case . Make sure the recommended corrective action plan is clearly is clearly explained so All of your costumers understand their options and outcomes . Negative experience: My daughter started with dental facility when they were inside the base. They were so good that she decided to start her braces adventure with them. Per the doctor at that time it should only take about one year and a half. Now 3 years later in this different facility they have given her so many excuses why they still have her with braces. Most of the time it was because they put the wrong brackets or wires on. How can an ortho crew put wrong stuff in someone's mouth? They are good at not taking care of you if you don't pay them on time. But are not worried about how a young person is feelling with having so many years of braces on. Wishing we could have been able to switch facilities. But no one will take you with an on-going treatment.

Positive experience: Been coming for months , I can say today I was thrilled to leave this review because I see they have stepped up tremendously with the wait times on scheduled appointments. Normally I’ll wait a while , but today I was in in less than 3 mins. My cleaning was fantastic, I also get ortho treatments here.

Negative experience: The five star reviews HAVE to be fake because everyone I’ve talked to has had the WORST time at costal dental. They sent me a paper in the mail for a free whitening if I made an appointment in Aug. it took me a week to get a hold of anyone to make sure they took my insurance. My appointment was at 3:40 for a cleaning and whitening they didn’t call me back until 4:30 and then took X-rays of my teeth and pictures and told me I had to come back to get anything else bc they close at 5. I was told they wouldn’t give me my whitening tray bc I didn’t bring the paper. They charged me for an appointment and then scheduled me for the next day. My friend who went said they made her go to three seperate appointments just to clean her teeth and they charged insurance separately for each appointment so of course insurance didn’t pay and she had to. Every time someone walked into my room it was a different person. They started forcing all these extra things such as liners on me when I told them my teeth are straight and I’m not interested. It feels to me like they are only out for money. When I walked in I sat in the waiting room for almost 30 minutes before anyone at the desk even said anything to me. I was the only one in the desk. Ppl would interupt me to have their own side conversations. This place is awful. I should have asked around before I went. I now know why no one was there when I went. Please save yourself the money and headache and stay away. I’ve learned my lesson.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dental office I have been to in Killeen. I have had unpleasant experiences with other dental offices in the area until my visit at Coast Dental. The dental receptionists are friendly and helpful! The Doctor is nice and the Dental Hygienist was great!

Negative experience: -Lack of communication -Employees lacking knowledge of their coding system -Fails to listen to what pt ask for -No regard for other peoples time A simple I’m sorry goes a long way and I’m pretty sure that was not given for wasting my time for 2 months and ultimately delivering a product that i said from jump i did not want. Highly disappointed but I’ll take this experience as a lesson learned. Hopefully they will do the same.

Fantastic experience: I'm usually not one to leave reviews but Coast Dental provided the best service I've had in years. SO.. to start off..I hate any place that has a hospital-like setting. The staff made me feel so comfortable. They were knowledgeable, professional and very informative. They even played a little music to calm my nerves. I don't remember anything but waking up pain free. One minute I was vibing to music, the next I was all done and ready to go home. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: After 19 months I got my braces off today! They were great during the whole process. Itzel was awesome. She always helped my anxiety through adjustments and she was gentle during debonding. Definitely recommend them for dental needs.

The office manager Felicia is so kind, polite, patient and knowledgeable. The dentist was gentle and sweet. Please have patience with the staff as they are facing staff shortage like every other place on earth. Even with the shortage I entered my appointment on time.

I was seen by Maritza, who was nothing short of an angel in not only her professionalism, but her genuine empathy. Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, very welcoming. Honestly couldn’t see myself going to any other dentist. Between my wife and I we enjoy our visits every time. Morgan at the front desk is my favorite. Felicia is always so nice and energetic. Hands down my favorite receptionist. Itzel is such a wonderful person and she informs my wife and I on the best care for our teeth. Brittany has such great spirit. The vibe that the entire team gives off is so inviting and I genuinely enjoy my experience every visit.

Fantastic experience: My five kids had all their cleaning and braces needs here for the past 9 years. The staff is great, the receptionist lady is the most professional person I've ever met. I love this place and will continue my family needs with them.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to coast dental for some time. We are a military family and they all treat us like family! They understand parental roles and involvement. They are friendly and compassionate to your needs. They are honest and do not try to rip you off, unlike another dentist office who made me feel this way. A matter of fact , Felicia stepped in to help. She is amazing and always ensures everyone gets the best care. She explains things and others solutions, instead of problems. The dentist , assistants, ortho, and oral surgeon team are amazing and really look out for your best interest. They do everything to ensure your comfortable and pain free. The wait time has been great, sure they can get busy , but they prioritize and get you taken care of. I waited from 1pm- 7pm at previous dental visit before finding coast dental. They try to make everything easy and stress free. I highly recommend them . Thank you for everything Coast Dental! You made our family so happy in the most difficult times. We appreciate all you do!!!

Negative experience: DO NOT.., I REPEAT…DO NOT… go to this dentist. I don’t care how many stars they have, you will regret it. I was scheduled to have my teeth cleaned Friday. It is now Wednesday and my teeth are still not cleaned. Friday, I was told that they couldn’t find my insurance. I was rescheduled for Monday. Monday, I was called three hours before my appointment to be told the dentist was sick, and that I needed to come in early. At a time of a pandemic, I refuse to be seen by someone who is ill. I rescheduled for Tuesday. My insurance still could not be found… finally they found my insurance, but had no rooms available. I had been sitting in the office for 2 hours, and that was after getting there early. Finally I had enough, I was told to return the following day… which was today. I was told to come at 8;30am. Only to be told that I could not be seen, because it was “ortho” day.. I was then scheduled for Thursday. I will not be returning. These people have no regard for folks time. People take off work and cancel obligations.. just to be jerked around. I watched the front office staff jerk around the whole time I was there laughing and playing around. This place is horrible.. pick somewhere else please.. Not to mention the first day I went to them I had a rough time finding the place. I was on hold with customer service for 10 minutes before being told that nobody was able to help me, because they would not pick up… save your time and save your money.

Fantastic experience: First time at Periodontist. Have a couple issues in early stages to correct. The staff was very professional and courteous. Dr. Nayak is very knowledgeable in her field. I felt very comfortable and I have no hesitation about moving forward with my treatment plan. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: They got me in same day within 30 minutes. The dentist treated me and kept me informed of my situation. The assistant took good care of me and set up my next appointment at the Oral Surgeon office immediately! They’re all great, kind and very caring!

Fantastic experience: I came here needing alot of work done and severe anxiety. I have been treated so wonderfully by everyone here, Brittany (I'm pretty sure thats her name) is so sweet, comforting, and just a great person. They are all so comforting and make me feel like I'm in great hands here. I would absolutely recommend this office.
