Fantastic experience: It was an appointment for my son and the experience was awesome. I do not recall the gentleman's name who assisted us in the beginning, but he was friendly and answered all of our questions. Shelisa was great! She was as gentle as possible while cleaning his teeth and took very good care of him.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this dental office! My family and I have been going to this dentist for over 20 years. My most recent appointment was for a routine cleaning with Sharmaine, my dental hygienist. Sharmaine is great! She is always in a good mood and plays the best music while she is working. Her humming to music relaxes me while she's cleaning my teeth. I also enjoy our conversations during my appointments. Sharmaine always asks questions and requests feedback during my cleaning to make sure I am ok, etc. She is very kind, professional, knowledgeable, gentle, etc. I get anxiety when having to visit the dentist, but she really makes me feel a lot more comfortable and relaxed.

Negative experience: Called for appointment told them my issue waited 2 weeks for appointment filled out all forms was called into the office then told we don’t do the procedure now have to wait another 2 weeks for another dentist office

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome for standard dental care. I can’t speak for people who have complicated dental issues but for those of us who just get regular cleanings and preventative care, it’s top notch. I never wait more than 5 minutes, never have billing issues with my insurance, and the staff is really friendly.

Negative experience: I’m shocked to see such positive reviews of this place. I think unfortunately people are none the wiser until they are…. I neglected my teeth for years. When we moved to Tx we got on a plan and I made an appointment. Let me start with the supporting staff is great. Specifically Brittney at the front desk and the dental hygienist. Great. My problem is with the dentist. I don’t know if he’s incompetent or lazy. I was shocked that after years I got a simple cleaning and needed one cavity. But I was grateful that was it and went on my way. I had some pain but he said it would go away with the cleaning, and that it did. FFWD about two months. I’m about four weeks pregnant and intense pain is triggered in the same spot. They refer me to an endodontist at another clinic telling me I’d need a route canal. To tell you this doctor was baffled at my mouth was an understatement. He said my gums were swollen and enflamed. I do NOT need a root canal but that I have severe gum disease. How did Carus miss this?!? Carus said my wisdom teeth didn’t need to be pulled unless they caused me an issue. Well I guess they failed to mention the GIANT CAVITY on my wisdom tooth. The doctor literally said “ticking time bomb” in my mouth. So if Carus had caught this and not done the bare basic minimum to check a box on me I could have had this gum treatment taken care of already. But now that I’m pregnant I need to get approval from my OB to have this treatment done and the dentist has actually told me there’s risk to my baby with this much bacteria in my mouth. I would literally sue this place if I could because of their negligence. BEWARE.
