The waiting area has a little kids area built into the wall that my kiddo loves! And we are in and out, but I don't feel rushed at all! I HIGHLY recommend! Each dentist has been such a pleasure to work with and make the visit stress-free. We recently moved an hour away and still plan on taking him here!

Fantastic experience: Great experience! The Dentist as well as the Hygienists were very friendly, thorough and informative. They were extremely patient with all 3 of my kids, who are quite the handful! One of whom has a learning disability and used to be so scared and would even cry sometimes about going to the dentist.His younger brother and sister were the same way up until these last 2 appointments. The staff have made them feel so comfortable they have been genuinely happy and enjoying themselves the whole time. They all said they are excited to go back next year! Crazy!

Negative experience: We have used this office for over two years for orthodontics. We had lot of issues in the beginning and then it got better. Once the switchover happened we then were no longer drafter for our payments or the drafts would come unexpectedly on a date not discussed. Multiple times I attempted to call and was told the system changes were being difficult. I asked to speak with someone at each of our office visits. One of the orthodontists assured me at one visit that it would be fine and they would work with me. Now today I was called and told pretty much it was my problem they weren’t paid and that if something wasn’t done by our next appointment my son could not have his braces removed. We made our payments each time for over a year until this happened. I feel as though it’s a repeat of the beginning of our journey all over again, nothing but frustration.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had my fair share of dentists, orthodontists, anesthesiologists, dental assistants, and medical support staff. Dr. Pritts, Ms. Katie, Ms. Jasmine, and of course Dr. Moore set the bar high in the medical world. They have exceed every expectation. Communication is top notch. Quality of work and genuine care of patients is above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Both of my children have high sensory needs. The two of them were like ok mom, we are going to hangout with the docs now. Ages 4 and 6 for reference. If you’ve never had any kind of experience with anesthesia or maybe not the best understand this: Anesthesia is a craft. Not every provider practices the same, or follows the same formula of medication choices and IV placement. Dr. Pritts doesn’t just give anesthesia, he has his craft and he truly loves it. You can see it in the care he gives to his patients. If I had the option to pick a team to do any and all of my anesthesia and patient care it would be this one. Thank you all so much for everything.

Positive experience: I brought my son to Lume Pediatric Dentistry in Wilmington and it was a pleasant experience. The staff made him feel at ease and everyone was polite and professional. I would definitely recommend Lume Pediatric Dentistry and will be using them for years to come.

Fantastic experience: It was my son’s first dentist appointment and Dr. Farrow had him grinning immediately. My son does NOT like new people so that speaks volumes. The dentist was very thorough in explaining exactly how to care for my toddlers teeth and how to ease his discomfort during teething. Everyone at the office is very kind and caring. Highly recommend taking your kids here!

Fantastic experience: My 4 and 7 year old both have been patients here. My 7 year old has no dental issues but my 4 year old is prone to cavities-they took great care of her but also listened to me (I had preferences for trying to fill the cavities using only laughing gas from a positive previous experience vs a bad experience with being fully numbed) The dentist was great at talking through options and allowing me to be apart of the conversation. Staff is always friendly, location is spotless. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Fantastic people and facility!! We went in after being told by another dentist that my kiddo needed a filling. Dr Rob explained what was actually going on with the enamel and why there was nothing wrong and no filling needed. He was very understanding of the other dentist's opinion, but I now trust him more than any other dentists I've ever worked with!! We will be going back for our cleanings now and I highly suggest the White and Johnson practice to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist!!

Fantastic experience: I rate White and Johnson a 10/10! My son had excruciating tooth pain caused by a cavity in one of his baby teeth during the night. I called first thing in the morning and the receptionist was super nice. She told me there were no doctors in the office, they were both in the OR for the day, but she would try and get ahold of one to see what they could do. She called me back promptly and told us to come on in. Dr. Moore was waiting on us and he was able to fix the problem in less than 30 minutes! I’m so happy they were able to accommodate us that quickly!

Fantastic experience: White & Johnson are the best. My son does so well with Dr. Johnson. He's so quick so my son never realizes the scary stuff. They accommodate they children with TV, tokens, and popsicles after scary procedures. I would most definitely recommend White & Johnson to anyone that has little ones!

Fantastic experience: Today my daughter went in for a cleaning. I told her a couple hours before about her appointment and she cried so I told her it was an easy appointment. We got into the office, she sat down in the chair, crossed her legs and let the hygienist do her thing. She got her xrays done and then Dr.White did a quick exam. I asked my daughter why she was so brave today and she said because she knows everyone at the office and they're very friendly. She's 4 1/2.

Fantastic experience: Dr. White has seen my children since they were babies. They are 11, 10, and 8 now. She’s amazing with them. Knowledgeable. Also I worked with her in an office before she started her practice. I knew then I would want my future children to be patients of hers!

But it went so smooth the staff was so nice singing and distracting I wish dentists were this amazing when I was young and I would have the fear I have for them. We had to go to the Wilmington office today , it was our first time going to this office and they were absolutely amazing too! Everyone was so nice and very helpful! My favorite part : they are very patient and respectful- when it comes to the kids!

Fantastic experience: This is the first time my girls sat in the big chair, ages 4 and 3. Both dental hygienists were excellent and explained what they were going to do and showed them the tools to make it less scary. They were absolutely amazing and my girls did great! Highly recommend! Dr. Johnson does wonderful with them as well!

Positive experience: My 23 month old had surgery today in the Wilmington location due to the urgency of it. Overall the experience was great, communication was good from the very start. The surgery scheduled before us got canceled so we got in earlier and the wait wasn’t long at all. He did get cut due to her hand and tool slipping from what I was told and I was not happy about that but accidents happen and she did apologize a lot, just hard seeing your child go through pain and then come out with a cut. Everyone was helpful and informative. I’d definitely go back to this location, overall good experience. Gave four stars due to the cut other than that I’d say five stars.

Fantastic experience: We love White and Johnson Pediatric Dentistry! Nothing but great things to say about Dr. Hailey and Dr. Andy and our experiences here with both of our children. We actually travel about and hour and half to receive this great care. Our daughter had to have a baby tooth pulled yesterday due to it not being loose and the adult tooth coming in behind it out of place. She had never had a filling before so we were not sure how she may react to having a tooth pulled but she did great! Dr. Hailey was so sweet, and calming. Our daughter didn't even know the tooth was pulled and experienced no pain from the numbing shot to the tooth itself being pulled. No fear, no tears, she literally watched the tv on the ceiling as Dr. Hailey was doing the work and singing to her. It was just great!

Negative experience: I took my 3 year old here to have an exam, was told my child needed the four front teeth removed. they made me feel as if there was no other way around it. i truly didnt like the idea of my child missing their four front teeth, but was ultimately convinced by the dentist that was the best decision. the day of the extractions we waited in the lobby for around forty minutes! Eventually we were called back and the way they numbed the area around my childs mouth was too fast and then the dentist quickly started pulling the teeth out never questioning my child if there was pain or stopping to give my child a minute to calm down. my child was screaming and crying in pain. afterwards my child said they felt every single thing!!! And all this while they were forcefully strapped down in what they call a cacoon! it really seemed like torture on my child! and was traumatizing! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! if you feel uncomfortable with the situation please stand up for your child dont let them get traumatized for someone who has no patience with young children!!!

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 kids 5 and under for their follow up visit to the dentist and I highly recommend White and Johnson Pediatric Dentistry. The lobby was welcoming and had kids shows and toys to entertain the kids. The staff were polite and welcoming. The hygienists were friendly and patient with the kids. They explained everything they were doing with their instruments. Dr. Andy is always great with the kids. I was very pleased with the whole process and the kids loved getting a prize when they were all done. Both kids said the chairs were awesome and loved wearing the sunglasses. They can’t wait to go back for their 6 month check up!

Dr. White and her staff always go above and beyond to see that my daughter's experience is a positive one. They are not only professional but also very caring and personable. White Pediatric Denistry is also willing to address any concerns or questions I might have. Dr. White is a blessing to her patients and to the Wilmington community.

Fantastic experience: As another dentist, I take my kid here. Great staff and treatment. Treatment planning is very conservative. Worth coming to, even if insurance is out of network. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Not 4 year old went under anesthesia today to get his teeth cleaned at New Hanover regional surgical pavilion. Dr White was amazing, hopefully we'll get this grind and our teeth under control soon with the extra reinforcement from the crowns.Dr Abernathy the anesthesiologist purple hoodie was great as well very professional explained everything from top to bottom to me before the procedure, and went over after care with me beforehand. The nurse Lori was great with Carson let him put stickers all over her hospital badge watch and forearms. Overall we will stay with white dentistry for as long as we can stay with them. If you have a child and need a dentist choose Dr White and her team they're great with children especially the young ones.

Fantastic experience: White and Johnson pediatric dentistry is fantastic!!! I have a very anxious 4 year old who stresses about going to the dentist. Their staff is wonderful in making her feel comfortable and doing whatever necessary to help us make it through our appt...even if that means allowing my daughter to lay in my lap during cleanings. The staff is always so happy when we are there and that too helps my daughter feel at ease about going!! It doesn't hurt that she also gets to pick out a prize once she's done :)

Fantastic experience: Took my son for his first dentist appointment today and we loved it. My son was in tears scared to go, but by the time we left he said "I can't wait to come back!" The play area in the waiting room is absolutely adorable! The kids got to watch Bluey, and Autumn and Dr. White were both amazing with my son will recommend!

Negative experience: We were referred to White and Johnson for our two year old. Upon arrival, we were impressed with the waiting room and the office itself but ended up waiting for a quite a while. My two year old has trauma/bruising to her front tooth and we were coming in to have them look at it/take X-rays and make a plan of action. The hygienist was nice but not very knowledgeable. The dentist came in to see her for maybe a couple minutes to look in her mouth with a mirror, before the X-rays were taken. After they were taken, I was expecting the doctor to come back in and explain his plan. Instead, the hygienist who is not very knowledgeable came in and told us they want to take her to the operating room to fix it. This was a shock to us because there was no explanation so we immediately started panicking a little. I understand she is young and would need to be under anesthesia, but there was no explanation as to what they would be doing to fix it and why, not a word from the doctor. We had to ask what they would be doing, where we got an answer that didn’t make since. I would expect a doctor that wants to preform a surgery on my two year old to at least take a minute to come explain it to us and calm our nerves about it. The hygienist sent us to another room to talk to their OR coordinator to schedule and talk about the price. Although she was very nice and comforting, I was still very confused why she was even having to have surgery. This made it seem like they are very quick to send you to the operating room, which I have since heard from others while sharing my experience. Since, we have taken her to another dentist who was extremely caring and took time to really look at her teeth and talk to us and his plan of action couldn’t be more opposite. So that confirms the fact that they really rush you to the OR rather than offering any other solution. It’s really disappointing that we had this experience, and honestly there’s no excuse for it. My child deserves better care than that.

They connected with him through his dinosaurs and built trust with him and with me. He came home to tell his dad how nice the ladies were and how much he liked it there. HUGE moment! I can not put into words how happy I was to see my child comfortable in a situation that used to bring such fear and discomfort. It brought me to tears while in the office and again now as I type. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
