Fantastic experience: The best dentist I’ve ever gone to. Such a friendly staff, a thorough cleaning, and a very welcoming environment all around. It started with their new patient form that asked me what makes me most comfortable at the dentist. I just thought that was such a nice touch, especially for people with a big fear of dental work. They also have tv’s on the ceiling and you can watch anything on Netflix you want. From the receptionist, to the hygienist, to the dentist, everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and made the experience a great one.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a quick filling and Dr. Overton did a great job, as always. After numbing, drilling, and filling, I was done in about 10-15 minutes. It was like a NASCAR pit stop. I’ll always refer him, he’s great!

Fantastic experience: I am seeing Dr Overton to repair/replace a large bridge installed 30 years ago. This is a big job as several of the original supporting teeth are no longer there . Dr O has had to remove these old teeth/roots and replace them with implants. He has installed temporary cosmetic bridges to tide me over prior to fitting a permanent replacement: IMHO Dr Overton & team are A-1 excellent. Dr O is a very good dentist who keeps the patient informed at all stages, no b/s, has my full confidence. Update: Bridge & Crowns fitted today. Looks wonderful and feels very solid, looking forward to enjoying eating solid food like steak again. Thank you Dr O.

I came here after having a truly awful experience with another dentist — a situation involving malpractice and negligence that left me needing a root canal. I didn’t even feel comfortable going back to that office for the crown because of how horrible the whole experience was. I called this office because my sister is a patient here, and from the very first phone call, they were amazing. They got me in so quickly for my crown, told me the exact price upfront (no surprises!), and made the entire process so easy and stress-free. On top of that, they scheduled me for a new patient exam and cleaning just a few days later — which is unheard of these days when so many offices are booked months to a year out for new patients. Everyone here is so kind, careful, and genuinely cares about their patients. They took such good care of me and made me feel comfortable after such a traumatic dental experience. Honestly, not to sound dramatic, but this is probably the best dental office I’ve ever been to in my life. They truly deserve the recognition

Fantastic experience: This past weekend I was seen at The emergency room of Grand Strand hospital in Myrtle Beach. I was diagnosed with a virus .They told me to. When I returned home to Castle Hayne it got worse. I had burning and pain in my mouth. I called Mayfaire Family Dentistry. They asked me to come into the office. DR OVERTON EXAMINED me and said I had a virus which was causing all the pain He called in for a special mouthwash. They saw me right away. Fantastic experience: Dr. Overton and Staff are very professional and caring. I had an appointment scheduled for a future visit for a crown to a front tooth. I was having some problems with that front tooth throbbing and being very uncomfortable. So I stopped into the office without an appointment to share my current challenge. I was told that if I sat down and wait until a technician was available, I could be examined. Within a very short time, I was taken to an exam room and given an x-ray discovering I had an infection with that front tooth. I was given a prescription to address the infection temporarily. Then, I was placed on a cancellation list allowing me to have the opportunity to schedule an earlier appointment for having my crown work completed. So Greatful for Dr. Overton and his Staff.
