She even gave me some sunglasses to help with the bright lights. They had some soft music playing in the background which kind of helped calm me down because of course I was a little nervous. They are non judgmental about history and the state of your teeth. I had Lupe, the hygienist, clean my teeth and she was so sweet and made sure I was okay every step of the way. Negative experience: **WARNING** **READ BEFORE BOOKING** 0 stars!! DO NOT COME HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. You can absolutely disregard the positive reviews this “business” has. I went for a routine cleaning. They said I had gum disease, two cavities, my bone was starting to deteriorate, and that I was on track to lose my teeth by the time I’m 40 (currently in my 20s). The dentist’s first words to me after my X-rays were taken was “Do you like having teeth?” and proceeded to try to scare me into paying for their “treatment plan”. After my talk with the dentist, I get sent to a room to talk to a “treatment coordinator” who is just a front desk person who is given the same script as the dentist but has no actual degree to be talking to me about my teeth. These people are crooks and shakedown artists. They trap you in a room and lie to you about your teeth to put you in a high pressure situation where you feel forced to pay for their “treatment” plan. I went to a different office to get a second opinion and essentially they informed me that EVERYTHING this dentist office told me was a lie and my teeth are in great shape. This office tried to have me pay for work that was unnecessary and when I asked for a moment to call my husband they questioned if I need to call my husband to make financial decisions. Their whole scheme is to keep you there and have you paying before you have a chance to even think about it. I was there for two hours and I had not even 1 tooth cleaned. There’s more that I can say but I’ll end this review with a very stark warning to anyone considering visiting here - DON’T.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place! Lupe and Dr. Mercado are both amazing, not only do they take their time to explain and answer question but they do an amazing job! I had recently gone with a different dentist that said I would need surgery that would cost me up to 20k. I felt discouraged and obviously couldn’t afford that, but here they explained exactly what I needed and thankfully did not need surgery. I bring my kids here and I can not express how much we all love it here, coming from someone that hated going to the dentist myself. Do yourself a favor and check them out, you won’t be disappointed and your teeth will thank you!

Fantastic experience: Great experience, I hate coming to the dentist and I had to come in for a deep cleaning with laser treatment. The most painful part of the experience was only the anestesia and even then it wasn’t bad at all. Highly recommended this office and Lupe she was very patient and kind.

Negative experience: Beware! My family has had horrible experiences with this place. In my honest opinion, they are high pressure sales people. They attempt to scare you into getting work done. They play videos of horrible dental stories to scare. In addition, they specifically said we cannot get a tooth pulled unless we agree to get a fake tooth put in its place. Bone graph, etc. What? I don't want a fake tooth. As a customer, I'm ok with a missing tooth. Its my decision. Not to mention, they call you so much that we have blocked them. Buyer beware. Orange Estates Dental, do better!

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at this dental office! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I was a little nervous going in, especially because a previous dental office had told me I’d need a couple of fillings. But Dr. Elkess and Lupe, the dental hygienist, reassured me. After a thorough exam and cleaning, they told me I didn’t have any cavities at all.. I just needed to improve my flossing and brushing technique a little bit. That was such a relief! Lupe did an incredible job with my cleaning my teeth were SPARKLING by the end! She’s always so detailed and gentle, and she really takes the time to make sure not only my teeth look great but that they’re as healthy as possible. She also explained how some of my past dental work is still impacting me today and gave me tips on how to maintain and improve my flossing and brushing moving forward. Dr. Elkess was so informative and kind. She walked me through everything clearly and even took a moment to give me a little pep talk about prioritizing self care as a busy mom of three. It meant a lot to feel seen and supported like that. Both she and Lupe were iiincredibly thoughtful, and I’m truly grateful for the care they gave me. I recommend this office 100%.

Negative experience: If you look at all their reviews, you’ll notice they’re mostly about how nice the employees are — not about the actual quality of their work. That’s because they have customers fill out reviews in exchange for being entered into a drawing. My friend went here to get his teeth examined, and the dentist made it seem like he needed thousands of dollars worth of work or his teeth would basically fall out. They made him pay in advance before any treatment was even done. When he did get the work done, they messed it up repeatedly — he had to keep going back just to fix what they’d done wrong. Save yourself the headache and money. Go somewhere reputable instead.

Fantastic experience: Back here today for my 10 year old daughter' sealants and baby teeth extractions. This is her very first big dental work that has been done. She did amazing! Gloria is so kind and worked so well with her during the whole process and was extremely patient and supportive. Dr. Mercado was great with her as well for the extractions. She did not even flinch when they gave her the anesthesia shots and when they removed her baby teeth! Dr. Mercado was so quick and amazing with her.
