Negative experience: Overpriced. Had full set of xrays, consult with active treatment plan done at initial visit. I went to a different dentist a year later due to insurance plan, and their treatment plan was 1/2 the price with full periodontal treatment. The treatment plan from Tallahassee Dental Specialist also showed that I needed 2 root canals+ crowns costing $2500 ( I have the printed paperwork with the pricing breakdown including a crown)whether or not they actually do the root canal at their facility the $2500 is still 2 times the price I paid for at the new dentist.. however, after talking with the new dentist , she did not recommend or see any issues with those 2 teeth. Be careful, do your research. Seems like they are hungry and eager to take your money at any cost...sort of like a bad mechanic. Thank goodness I got a 2nd opinion! Much happier and very satisfied with the results of my teeth and the pricing from my new dentist! The front desk is also extremely passive aggressive.

Seeing his face right when you walk in the door is relaxing and welcoming. Destani is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. Not one speck of water on my face during the cleaning! Kara and Daily are both kind, caring and experienced in what they do. They carry on conversations and let you know what to expect. Dr. Barocio rocks too! She knows her stuff and makes sure you are comfortable and leave with a beautiful smile. I highly recommend Tallahassee Dental Specialists! You guys are awesome!!

As a veteran who just moved to Florida, I’m getting established with new providers, and I’m so thankful I was sent to this practice. Taylor, the VA coordinator, personally introduced herself, thanked me for my service, and gave me her contact info in case I ever need support. That meant a lot. Fantastic experience: October 8th 2025 my dental Magic personnel always show courtesy professionalism and my favorite doc is a perfectionist and because she ( Dr Barovia) is such a perfectionist my temp cap had to cut off before she could put the gold cap on my lower right back tooth. I told her because she's such a perfectionist what did anyone expect. Please believe me when I say I love all those people who work with and for her ... however even though I love everything about these people Dr Barocia is my favorite person. I look forward to every visit knowing I will get to see her. She definitely makes me feel special and so does the rest of the staff. I don't care too much for dentists, however the staff relax you and make you feel comfortable and they perform the oral and the cleanings which sucks proficiency. If Ever I have to go to a dentist no matter where I live it will definitely be to Tallahassee dental specialist for all dental work. I give them a rating of 100, however you can only give five stars and that's not enough as far as I'm concerned. This post should b have posted before December 2023: My visit to this dental facility was more than excellent assistants: Dentist Dr Barocia great bed side manner and knows her job well and she definitely know what her patients needs The reception and Priscilla dental technicians is professionals, polite and patient friendly.. Rating 10 equals far more than OUTSTANDING for the beautiful profesdinal people. Updated post: My appointment on January 29th 2025, these folks - they're still outstanding and getting better every day and I personally love the fact that they make you feel special. Fantastic experience: This place is wonderful, the staff is amazing and they go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. Theyre out of network for me, even though they're on my insurance site as in-network, so that was an unpleasant surprise. Also, you have to pay the full price of procedures up front and then they file your insurance to reimburse you, which may be a little bit harder for people to pull off in a pinch, but the service is absolutely top notch.

Carlos is also a very good listener and documenting my concerns of what I needed to have done. Dr Matt was great at listening to a problem I had with an implant and giving me details and explaining it to me on what he felt needed to be done. I feel confident that Dr Matt will provide the best treatment that needs to be done. Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit and I must say that it was one of the best first visits I have ever had at a dental office. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out.The office had a great atmosphere, the staff and Dr. B were very attentive to my concerns and were very helpful with answering any questions. Fantastic experience: I was very skeptical having a deep cleaning, because I had deep cleaning before and it was very painful. The hygienist was very professional and courteous. She went over everything she was going to do prior to cleaning. She took her time and asked several times during the procedure if I was having any pain. This is the first deep cleaning that I had without pain. She demonstrated skill and knowledge of what she was doing. Great Visit.

Fantastic experience: Review written 2/27/25 and forgot to post. All of the staff that I’ve encountered at Tallahassee Dental Specialists have been nothing short of amazing. Jamal is typically the first face I see and is always so pleasant and personable. Cody made sure I had all the paperwork and necessary information for my appointment so all I had to do was show up and drop the paperwork off. Today, I had the pleasure of speaking with Kealeahia and she made sure I had everything I needed she sent my prescriptions to my pharmacy so I would have them for my upcoming appointment. I arrived at my appointment about 15 minutes before the scheduled time. I was greeted by the office manager and given a few more instructions before my procedure began. The surgery with Dr. Matt went as planned.

Fantastic experience: Book with them now! I got in as a New Patient very quickly. The lobby is very clean and organized. When you walk in Kayla was welcoming and very knowledgeable. When I finished that they had time for me to do a cleaning and Kara was great. She was very talkative in a great way. The staff overall is amazing!

Fantastic experience: My Dentist is Dr. “B” she is the best I have had and she is the only one I will call, My Dentist. Then you have Carol, an absolute delight , even when she is approaching with a needle. We can’t forget the very special Angie, she treats me more like family than just another patient. I have needed a new plate for yrs now and was told about Tallahassee Dental Specialists .Dr,Galindo is the one treated me.I have never had any Dentist to be so compassionate, caring.I never felt like I was not good enough.if anything they lifted me up.I have a new top plate that fits better than any I have ever had.I am very pleased with the outcome.i will be using them in the future.Dr,Galindo and staff I will forever be grateful to them.Thanks for a job well done
