Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr. Dzon Nguyen for over 20 years and Carrie for 10 years. They have both provided me with excellent and caring service thoughout those years. They exams they do are thorough and they catch things ahead of time before they become issues. The office staff have always been communicative and proactive. I highly recommend this practice!

Negative experience: I was a patient here for about 10 years and used to give this office 5 stars, but the quality has declined dramatically. My last visit in July was disorganized and poorly handled: x-rays were done incorrectly, polishing and fluoride were rushed, flossing wasn’t completed, and the hygienist nearly used a cavitron on me despite my chart clearly saying “NO CAV.” I had to stop him mid-procedure. The administrative side was just as bad. It took over three months and multiple follow-ups to get a simple refund for an overcharge, and I kept receiving appointment reminders even after formally leaving the practice. I later learned that both staff members involved are no longer with the office. I’m glad they’re trying to fix things, but the overall experience broke my trust. After a decade as a loyal patient, I’ve had to move on.

Got a new night guard that is far better than the first and she made sure I was comfortable with the new guard.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient and it was a very smooth and easy process. I called to schedule an appointment. The woman on the phone collected my insurance information and booked me within the next month or so. My new patient appointment was 2 hours, the first hour spent on cleaning and then the second when I actually met my dentist for their assessment. The hygienist was amazing and super personable making sure I was comfortable and stopping whenever stinging pain arose. I am looking forward to coming back in a month for my next cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. The doctors and assistants are wonderful. I saw Dr. V for a root canal and a crown. Two separate visits, the first she was assisted by Mariana and today by Liz. They work so well together and explain everything and continue to ask if I’m ok throughout the visit. If you are looking for doctors and hygienists who care, this is the place. I have worked in dental for the 8 years so I know good providers when I meet them! Negative experience: It's a good practice, but I've had way too much difficulty getting an appointment. Even after booking them months out, they cancelled my last visit just days before and rescheduled me for six months out. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Although the people who work here are very kind I can’t recommend them as a new patient. My first appointment with them I ended up waiting 45 minutes in the waiting area until I finally asked the front desk what was going on and the man who helped me said “have you been waiting out here this whole time?” He then went to get someone else. The operations manager finally came over and said the dentist had a procedure running longer than expected and asked me to reschedule for a different day. It seemed as if they’d just forgotten me but I understand things happen. The second appointment I get back into the room get some pictures and X-rays and then the operation manager comes in and says yet again the dentist had a procedure run over and wouldn’t be able to do my cleaning. When I went back up to the front he tried to reschedule me for over a month away. I am at this point overdue for my cleaning and have now wasted two different days taking time off work for nothing. I will not be going back here and would not recommend them if you’re a new patient trying to find a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here was very nice and kind. I have some anxiety and had been avoiding going to the dentist for a few years, but no one made me feel bad and in fact, other than having my teeth cleaned, I did not need any more work done! Dr. V, Mariana, James, and China were all very gentle. I recommend them highly!

Fantastic experience: My 30 year old filling was replaced with a Cerec crown. Pacific dental did a great job. The office is clean and pleasant. The staff are knowledgeable and ready to address any questions and concerns. They made sure my bicycle was secure during my procedure. Their use of modern equipment and expert technique made this a comfortable and efficient procedure. When additional work was warranted to remove some hidden decay the staff informed me of the additional charges above our agreed treatment plan. I have had major dental work all my life and Pacific Dental has been the most comfortable.

I have had some serious teeth issues as I get older and I have been treated with such kindness and professionalism and quality of care. The explanations about what is being done and my comfort throughout the procedures from all the staff is amazing. The people that answer the phone say they need to check with the dentist and will call me back. I'm still waiting for a call back from last month. The customer service isn't anything like it used to be. No follow up. Very disappointing. I finally gave up and went to another dentist.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at Crown Hill Dental for … gracious, could it be 20 years?! I think it might be. And I’ve been very happy with every aspect of their care. Dr. Nguyen has always been respectful of and accommodating to my anxiety and low pain threshold, always ready to stop, administer additional anesthetic, adjust his approach, and really listen to what’s going on. Their equipment and techniques are modern, high tech, even cutting edge. Their administrative staff is top notch with scheduling, communication, and insurance and billing. I recommend Crown Hill Dental to people all the time. You should go!

I also think they are very current with developments in dentistry, and although hard for me as a lay person to judge, the new fluoride treatment I received today seems like an example of that. Negative experience: I had an overall disappointing experience with both the dentist and front desk staff at Crown Hill Dental. One of my fillings was done incorrectly, causing daily nerve pain. When I returned to have it redone (not fun) a week later, I was left waiting in the dental chair for over 30 minutes without assistance, until I walked back to the front desk. Additionally, I was charged for a separate filling that was not covered by my insurance, forcing me to pay out of pocket. Despite multiple calls to Crown Hill Dental over several months, it was difficult to obtain my records and an explanation of why the filling was necessary. I had no prior issues with the tooth and I've never not had a filling be covered by insurance, I would have appreciated more transparency in my care. To add to the bad experience, I was recently informed by my insurer (Delta Dental) that the dentist I saw is either no longer practicing or in-network. I wish I had received better service and I do not recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I am looking into the possibility of implants and I was a bit nervous, but the staff was so kind and professional I quickly felt completely comfortable and confident about my care. Dr. Nguyen was so very kind and yet very professional. I was very impressed. An added bonus is their offices are beautiful and very comfortable. 10/29/2024 I needed an emergency repair on my upper implant and the staff worked over time to get me in right away. Dr. Dellisanti repaired my implant and I was out in less than an hour. The doctor was wonderful and the entire staff was friendly and professional. I recommend this office as highly as I can! 01/13/2025 Once again the staff came through for me. Yesterday (Sunday) at dinner another one of the teeth in my upper implant came out. I went into panic mode because I am have a medical procedure on Wednesday and am flying out to Hawaii for vacation on Friday. I called and left a message on the answering machine letting them know my situation and this morning they called me back before 9:00 and said to come in at 10:00. It's now 11:00 and I'm already back home and everything is fixed. I tell you people.....they are miracle workers! I am so relieved!!!

Negative experience: Went to this dentist because they are super close to my house. The scheduling folks and administrators are an absolute mess. The doctors are no better. I did have a crown replacement and a chipped tooth. The work I got done was not really up to the mark, so skip this place if you can. Will be moving back to my previous dentist.

Fantastic experience: Went in due to a friend’s recommendation. I was in town for 3 weeks and wanted to see someone about getting a cavity refilled. Extremely clean office. Very friendly staff. There is parking in the back. I was in and out and scheduled for a filling in a week. Having my cavity filled was also a pleasant experience (as much as it can be). Dr. Alice was great to work with and even addressed a potential issue that no other dentist I’ve had worked on. Would definitely recommend and sad this place won’t be my regular dental office!

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent (no pain) dental experience in a 2.5 hour (Out early. Was a 3 hour booking) dental service at Crown Hill Dental on 5/4/24. I needed a lost crown replaced, a filling and new night guard. Dental assistant Ali was top notch assisting Dr. Lee and made sure I was informed and comfortable. Dr. Lee was very efficient and gentle and the crown she had made in clinic fit perfectly and the bite was good straight away. My bill was explained and processed per agreement as I departed. All this 10 minutes from my home and I made my golf tee time soon thereafter without rushing. Thank you Crown Hill Dental.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim is an incredibly skilled provider with a decidedly competent and gentle approach to her craft. She communicates what's happening without overdoing it and offers periodic compassionate check-ins to ensure patient comfort. Her precision is on point but she delivers in a way that beautifully reveals her humanity and ability to personally connect. Suffice it to say, I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: I have sensitive teeth and this was the most gentle cleaning I’ve ever had. Just had a crown put in. I was surprised at how OK everything was. No pain, the drilling wasn’t too long. And I got to watch the machine make my new crown!

Negative experience: I was going to see this dentist for the first time. I booked my appointment on 2/5 for the soonest available on 3/12. I received a phone call less than 24 hours before my appointment saying they couldn’t see me as scheduled the following day as the dentist had another procedure to perform and no time. I understand needing to fit in emergency appointments, if there’s a reasonable replacement time. The receptionist tried to schedule me a week out and then informed me it was a different doctor. Only one doctor at this office is in my network. They then said they could “move some things around” and get me scheduled with the original doctor still a week later. They said they’d text to confirm once it was scheduled. I followed up hours later and received a text from someone else that I was scheduled with the wrong doctor and to call the next day to resolve the issue. When I called, Danielle was super apologetic and helpful rescheduling me, but the soonest appointment was 3+ weeks out. I am very frustrated being informed less than a day before my appointment that I needed to be moved and having to wait 2 months to be seen. I also chose this place based on reviews and proximity to my home, and some of the reviews state they may be pushy for reviews so now I question the credibility. I decided to go elsewhere.

Negative experience: I think this place used to be nicer than it is now. First off, the reason I wanted to go here was because Dr. Nguyen has a MAGD which are notoriously difficult to achieve and show dedication to the craft. I emailed, I called a few times over the course of a couple of days. No response. I booked an online appointment with another dentist hoping that once I was a patient I could more easily switch to Dr. Nguyen once he has availability. The night before I receive a text asking me to move my appointment time. I politely declined. Then over the course of the next morning before my appointment I received no less than 3 “reminder” texts but the times displayed and the dentists listed were different. I tried to call to clarify. They did not answer. I get a text saying they were busy. I ask which time. They confirm the later time. I decided to show up at the earlier time just in case and THANK GOD I DID because my appointment was for the earlier time. The two receptionists are glued to the phone and will have an in person conversation with you while they hold the phone to their ear. I got whisked back by an xray tech who kept tripping over her words and just seemed confused as to what information to tell me. She forgot things and left and came back into the room multiple times within the maybe 10 minutes I was there. I noticed that while the piece that goes in your mouth was covered in plastic; the x ray machine was not wiped down before or after that I could see. Here’s to hoping it happened after I left the room. Then the dentist comes in and they have another confused conversation with the tech as to what they need to tell me. The dentist says according to my photos my bite is really bad. I’m surprised as this is the first time I’m hearing this. She checks my teeth then back tracks saying actually it’s fine, the photos must’ve been bad. I had to have new photos taken. I waited in the room by myself for a few minutes while the tech left for yet another things and noticed that the walls were scuffed and had paint feeling. There was also a lot of dust like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. Not great for a dentists office. The tech comes back and mentions that apparently both she and the dentist spoke to the hygienist about the same thing? It just seemed SO disorganized. I then get whisked back to the front waiting room again to wait for the hygienist. I’m about 3 seconds she comes to get me. I don’t understand why I have to be moved around so much. In fairness to this office, the hygienist was good. She was very clear in her instructions and thorough in her cleaning. Unfortunately though, her room was just as dirty. I left, and waited to check out. Multiple people INCLUDING the receptionists saw me waiting and they all ignored me. It was only until the hygienist happened to walk by that she was surprised I was still waiting and purposefully got their attention. The paperwork I was promised I would walk home with wasn’t there. I was told I’d get an email. It’s now been hours after they have closed and I still don’t have that email. This dentists office was disorganized, had rude receptionists, confused staff, and it was dirty. I can forgive a couple of issues but this was too many to count. I would not recommend this business.

Negative experience: I called to ask about scheduling availability and if they had a general pricing range for wisdom teeth extraction. The person I spoke to was sort of standoffish, didn’t answer either question and it honestly felt like I wasn’t welcome. It was just a surprisingly awkward phone call and I can’t quite get my head around how bad the experience was.

Fantastic experience: Very pleasant experience getting my annual dental checkup done here! Easy scheduling (though they book for months out) and no wait time! Had my cleaning appointment today with Anna and she is awesome! Easy to talk to friendly, professional and very good at what she does. Highly recommend this dental clinic!

Fantastic experience: As my over four year's family dentist, Dr. Nguyen always explain my situation carefully with patient and make my calm drying The procedures. The staff are warm and professional, helps me a lot of time when I have emergent tooth problem. I am very lucky to have a such great team as my dentist clinic. Positive experience: They change my appointment schedules often recently. They called me to reschedule 1 hour before my appointment...I'm not sure administrations are not working well or just simply they don't check their whole appointments and doctors' schedule well ahead of time. It's frustrating because I took my time to coordinate with others ( my work shift, kids' school schedule, other appointments etc..) for my appointment every time. Dr. Nguyen and all doctors I've been treated are nice but Dr. Nguyen is very busy so it's been hard to get the appointment on my convenient date. All hygienists that I've got my teeth cleaned were friendly and professional and the most receptionists are friendly and giving me clear information when scheduling and answering questions but some are not. If you are not flexible due to your work schedule or anything else, I recommend to let them know that, otherwise they don't hesitate to tell you to reschedule.

Fantastic experience: This dental practice keeps up with latest dental technology and can place a crown in one sitting. The dentist minimizes the pain of procedures. I go every four months for teeth cleaning and pay for the extra yearly visit. They encourage excellent oral hygiene practice. Staff are personable, diligent and work with my insurance company. Location is central with parking. Oral health is related to great health. Grateful for after hours treatment for painful infection that required antibiotics and treatment of 100 yo MIL. Fantastic experience: I have been going here for my dental care for years. The people are friendly, professional, and well organized. They have modern up to date equipment. I have had a few old fillings replaced. A crown, and lots of cleanings. I have never had an issue with any of their work, and my appointments have always been accomplished quickly, efficiently, and as pleasantly as possible. I recommend them.

Positive experience: Finally moved on to a different dentist. They have a nice office and the owner, Dr. Nguyen is good. That being said, I have gone there nine years and have seen nine different dentists there, some good and some terrible. I value continuity of care, so I'm gone.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience! The dentist and hygienist were both so sweet I felt like I was chatting with old friends. They made me feel very comfortable and calmed any nerves about being in a dentist office I had and did quick professional work. Will absolutely make this my go-to dentist office!

Fantastic experience: This place is so dialed in on all facets of dental procedure needs. Dr. Dellisante is a rock star who cares soooo much about her patients needs and bottom $$ line. All of the assistants are a cut above too. It's a no brainer to pick this place over the others.

Fantastic experience: Found my dentist and love them. I’ve had some terrible experiences with dental practices where I felt like I was in trouble, even yelled at, but this was not that! Everyone was super nice, understanding and communicative. They helped me understand how I can do little things to help improve my dental health at home - and generally speaking they are just a solid practice. Def ask for Nina as your hygienist!

Fantastic experience: The phone receptionist is friendly and speaks clearly which is important for me because I’m hearing impaired. Carrie, my hygienist, was personable and told me that each step what was going to happen next. Dr. Kim came in and noticed immediately I had a crack and a tooth. I am scheduled for a crown . I am happy that she probably saved me from serious pain .

Negative experience: $75 cancellation fee if you don’t cancel within 48 hours is a ridiculous policy. My appointment was scheduled for a Tuesday but on Monday I was sent on assignment out of the area so I had to reschedule. Also, the hound you to write reviews about them which is weird.

Fantastic experience: The team at Crown Hill Dental do a fantastic job in supporting the ongoing journey of healthy teeth and gums. They’ve been friendly, thorough and communicative. I always learn new facts or tips and tricks on taking care each time I visit. Definitely helping out on my flossing habits. They are open to your lifestyle and help tweak things that help your mouth!

Fantastic experience: From the moment you call to enter the office you are greeted by warm, friendly faces (even though masked). Every staff member is helpful. The hygienist are very good and gentle if your mouth is sensitive. I see Nina and recommend her highly. The dentist I see is Dr. Dzon Nguyen and he is highly skilled and very personable. The front desk staff are very on point to confirm procedures with insurance for coverage and prior authorizations so decrease the chances of an unexpected huge bill! Very thoughtful in looking after my oral hygiene, wellness and pocket book!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had only great experiences at Seattle Crown Hill Dental! They are very patient and kind and gentle. They also explain what they are doing and what to expect which makes the visits much less daunting and much more soothing.

(The crown was from another dentist a long time ago) Always friendly, understanding, do great work, and as pain free as a dental experience can be. I HIGHLY recommend.

Sometimes the scheduling is tough- I was assured at a recent visit that I’d be able get to get back in for some work within 2 weeks but when I called to schedule- that wasn’t the case.

Positive experience: Along with my family I’ve been going to Seattle Crown Hill Dental for a decade and have had fillings and crowns as well as checkups.The dentists and hygienists are thoroughly professional and, up to now, I’ve had no reason to complain.Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Early last year Dr Nguyen had recommended a crown which I had done on 05 December. The office staff had explained my share of the cost along with my insurance company’s. The claim was rejected. This had happened once before but on that occasion Crown Dental resubmitted and it was accepted. This time when I called their attitude was essentially “tough luck” these things happen. I pointed out that they had had plenty of time to apply for a pre clearance (which they have done on occasion before) if there was any doubt my insurance would pay but had failed to do so. In a follow up letter I also raised a question about whether the crown was, in fact, actually necessary given the insurance rejection on grounds that it failed to meet their criteria for need. I received no response to my letter, not even a telephone callback. A mailed bill showed the balance was 60 days due so we paid it but the experience has completely soured me on this business and I cannot now recommend it. I am, regretfully, now in the process of finding a different dentist. Since writing this my concerns came to the attention of Dr Nguyen and he resolved the matter fairly. He also apologized that it took a formal complaint to finally resolve it. Dr Nguyen and his professional staff are excellent and highly professional and that is reason to change my grade from 1 to 3 stars. And there is reason to believe this sort of thing will not reoccur. But the experience did cause me to look elsewhere and I have now found a different practice.

Fantastic experience: I needed an adjustment to my new night guard. The level of expertise was impressive as the team worked to fine tune it. When I came in it was extremely tight and almost impossible to place and remove. It is now perfectly adjusted.

Fantastic experience: I was a patient previously, but moved away in 2017 to the bay area. During that time I was a patient at several other dental clinics and Seattle Crown Hill is by far the best in terms of quality of care. It was great to be welcomed back by the clinic and informed that I was doing well with dental hygiene as they still had my pre-2017 dental records for comparison!

Fantastic experience: I've been with Dr. Dzon Nguyen for 20+ years, he's the best! In 2004 I moved from Seattle to the Eastside and I still make the commute twice a year or so. The entire staff from receptionist to Dr. Nguyen (and every one in between) is there to serve YOU! Never have I felt like I was just an account number or that appointments were rushed. Not quite sure what I'll do when Dr. Nguyen retires, whenever that may be. To Dr. Dzon Nguyen and his entire team at Crown Hill Dental, you're all, "Simply the best"!

And her dental assistants Sidney and Alli are supportive and responsive, anticipating what I might need and checking with me often. They have created an environment that is professional, respectful and welcoming. I am thrilled to have found them.

Fantastic experience: It is rare to have a 360 degree 5 star experience anywhere, but Crown Hill Dental is an exception. Dr. Nguyen is the best, most precise dentist I’ve ever gone to. The assistants, hygienists and front office staff are so good at their jobs too. Everyone is genuine and friendly. If your looking for a dentist, this is the practice to go to.
