Fantastic experience: Everyone here is kind and friendly. I love that the equipment and technology here is also ahead of other dentist offices - it feels like I’m getting the best here, compared to other experiences I’ve had. I also love that I can make early appointments so that I’m done before I start work and don’t have to use any PTO to complete appointments. This is the most happy I’ve been with any Dental Office.

Fantastic experience: To Ballard Dental Arts, I wanted to take a moment to share my most sincere thoughts regarding my Dental appointment last Thursday. I’ve been going through some things with, old number #19 for a few weeks now, and this appointment was to extract it. When I arrived at your practice, I was very stressed as I am sure you can understand. So, when I met Kristen, I was very nervous but with her calm, and confident vibe I started to relax a bit. Then when I met Dr. Dina I relaxed even more as she too exhibited the same calm, cool, confident vibe. As soon as I sat down in the chair I could hear some cool music playing in the background. Then once the procedure started Kristen started singing here, and there, and then when Dr. Dina joined in with the singing, and vibing with the music, I found myself trying to figure out how to laugh, and smile while my tooth was about to be extracted. Then when old 19 was about to come out both Kristen and Dr. Dina were singing, and grooving to the music as if nothing to see here. It’s just Thursday. So as I got a glimpse of #19 departing my mouth, I was literally body laughing to what I was experiencing. With absolutely no stress, or body tension whatsoever. I told them both after that I felt like I was having lunch with them. I Only felt slight pain once due to the infection, and Dr. Dina quickly gave me more anesthetic. This without a doubt was my best Dental experience I have ever had, and as a result I never want to go anywhere else ever again. As I know I am in great hands when I visit Ballard Dental Arts. Fantastic experience: I was waiting until I finished my run of appointments before reviewing-- but five stars for Ballard Dental Arts. Dr. Tobler and the five assistants/hygienists I've had have all been capable, effective, and compassionate. I hadn't seen a dentist in a long while, and was expecting some light shaming, but got no such thing. Feeling much better about my teeth, both now and for the future. Thanks team!

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this office. I called ahead to confirm my appointment, showed up on time, and was told it “wasn’t in their system.” On top of that, I was informed that my hygienist was suddenly unavailable — something they claimed they tried to notify me about, yet they never emailed or properly contacted me, even though they have my email on file. This ended up wasting my time, my commute, and money I set aside for this appointment. The lack of organization and communication is unacceptable for a healthcare provider. I left without the care I scheduled and confirmed, and I won’t be returning.

Negative experience: My husband and I have been patients here for years, most recently with Dr. Tobler. After a lapse in our dental care, we tried to schedule a routine cleaning, but were told we would need to go through a full new-patient exam first, followed by a separate cleaning appointment. On top of that, they’re booking six months out. It feels unreasonable that something as simple as a cleaning is made so difficult to schedule. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: The staff was friendly and thorough and the atmosphere was professional and clean. The process of registering as a new patient was really easy. They do an initial new patient intake appointment before your first cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for a few years now and I’ve only had good experiences! Everyone’s super friendly and my teeth get a spa day. I haven’t gotten any major work done, just routine cleaning. But if you’re looking for a dentist, make an appointment asap.

Fantastic experience: I panicked when I ate something hard and felt a weird crunch in the back of my mouth. My current dental office is closed on Fridays so I googled what was near me and am SO glad I found this dental office!! An hour later they got me an emergency appointment and took x rays and answered all of my questions in non dental terms and were so thorough. The front office staff was beyond friendly and helpful as well. After this situation I am 100% going to transfer my dental stuff to this place for good!

Fantastic experience: Today was my first experience at Ballard Dental Arts, and it was great(if one can say that about going to the dentist). I usually have a bit of “ White Coat Syndrome,” but today I was very comfortable thanks to their amazing team! Tinker was thorough and engaging, Dr. Wang friendly and knowledgeable, while Travis was very informative and went above and beyond helping navigate my insurance concerns/options. I’m very happy to have found a dental practice that feels more like a community and less like a big box organization that treats you like a number. I’m looking forward to returning Ballard Dental Arts to help ensure my dental health, and knowing I’m genuinely cared about.

Fantastic experience: My periodontist, Dr Liu recommended BDA. I gave them a call (for a replacement dental appliance) and they scheduled me the very next morning to get an impression. I was shocked to get in so quickly (as a new patient) but in a very good way! But even better, the dentist I met with was my old dentist from Gentle Dental. I was thrilled! I got the best care w/ Dr Cho so reuniting with him was a wonderful bonus. Everyone i met this morning was so pleasant and I know I'll get wonderful care with this group! Fantastic experience: Who thought one could have a good time in the dentist's chair ... I always feel safe, listened to and taken care of at Ballard Dental Arts. My hygienist, Ginny, is kind, thorough and gentle and FUNNY. Tinker, the dentist assistant, is the same. The administrative staff is equally kind and capable. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff and dentists. I've been a patient at the practice, Ballard Dental Arts, for over twenty years. Some of the staff have left or retired, but the service has remained efficient and friendly. My hygenistist and dental technologist are like family after all this time. As for the dental and office staff, everyone does outstanding, professional work every time.

Negative experience: I wanted to find a dentist closer to home and came here for one cleaning. They immediately recommended $1000 of work on an area of my teeth that my current dentist says does not need any treatment. It felt like the hygienist was trying to come up with things that were wrong with me and mentioned issues that my long-time dentist never did. When I confronted her about this she said "Maybe I'm more honest than other hygienists." Huge red flag. Any time you go to a new dentist, beware when they want to start working on you right away. I still have not had any work done on the area they claimed needed attention.

Fantastic experience: The team is so incredibly gentle and took my tooth pain into consideration. They explained every option for my plan of care, from least invade to most invasive. Also the technology they have for scanning your teeth gives an incredible visual. Very happy I switched dentists!

Fantastic experience: I never returned after my appointment four years ago, but I’m glad I did. I want to give a big shout-out to Alicia, who deserves a raise for dealing with me. I have such severe dental anxiety that I panic when certain things are in my mouth. She was incredibly gentle, calm, patient, and kind while helping me get through the X-rays. I'm excited to meet Dr. Tobler next week for the sedation consult. Will keep this review updated as I go through my dental journey.

Fantastic experience: I was replacing my front teeth with new crowns in December 22nd before my dental plan changed. The color was wrong and we had no time to wait, the Dentist called the Lab and I went there with the crowns to be color corrected. The Lab worked on the color and back to the dentist to cement the crowns at to the final adjustments. This all happened in a total of 2 1/2 hours. So I got my two front teeth for Christmas and all covered by my dental plan and everything looks great.

Fantastic experience: Lucky to have found them! My front tooth fell out the day before Thanksgiving, and Ballard Dental Arts fitted me in, took x-rays, cleaned the tooth and glued it back in! I'll go back in January and make a life-long plan with them. Friendly, capable, near by. All good!

The Dental Hygienist who took care of me was exceptionally professional and thorough. Fantastic experience: I chose Ballard Dental Arts for three reasons. They are close to where I work, they are in network for my insurance and they could get me in on short notice. Dr.Cho and his staff made me feel at ease (I don't like going to the dentist) from the first step into their office. Dr. Cho explained exactly what he thought the best avenue of treatment was for me and wrote out a referral to the Periodontist. As soon as my treatment is done for the infection I plan on setting a cleaning appointment for my teeth. Thank you Ballard Dental Arts!

Fantastic experience: Been a patient here since I moved to the area. The staff are super friendly--shout out to Travis! :) And Phuong is the most skilled dental hygienist I've ever had. She's very gentle. I love the range of services they provide here beyond what I'd expect from my typical dentist. They're constantly updating and modernising their tools and services which really impresses me. Botox for TMJ has changed my life for the better.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Ballard Dental Arts for almost 15 years. They have grown and become more modern over the years, but have maintained a really nice personal touch to all their services. I have sensitive teeth and my hygienist goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable, and all the staff are very friendly. I find them to be careful and thorough and they don’t do procedures that aren’t necessary which I appreciate in a dentist! I moved out of the city and still travel there because I trust them with my care.

Negative experience: The work is fine but they have a VERY expensive and poorly disclosed cancellation policy. Had I known that canceling would be almost $200 I would have been much more aggressive in trying to shift work around to make the appointment work. I called to cancel and no one mentioned the policy to to me.

Fantastic experience: First time there, for a regular cleaning. The overall experience was great, history filling was online a day before, parking was ample, hygienist was very gentle and I hardly felt any pain. Doctor was thorough.

Fantastic experience: I have a super high level of dental anxiety— bordering on full on phobia. A lifetime of bad experiences has led me here. I chose these guys for this reason. Everyone was super kind and gentle with me. I still cried— but they were so careful about asking what would make me feel more comfortable, saying they totally understood the reason for my fear and giving me lots of options to help alleviate my anxiety! Dr Tobler took lots of extra time explaining things to me and being super nice and gentle. I still don’t love any of the stuff involving dental work at all— but I feel like I’ll be in safe hands here for everything I need done. It’s a huge weight off.

Fantastic experience: It’s a wonderful team and Ballard Dental Arts. I don’t always see the same dentist, but that’s probably good for this review because that means I speak with a lot of experience. My family and I have been going to this office for at least 7 years (and 7 years before that with a practice that merged with them), and can honestly say each member of the care team is professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and skilled. Yes, there’s turnover, but they always seem to make good decisions with new hires. Going for my regular check ups and care is never dreaded, and if I have issues that require referrals outside of their practice, I never feel shamed or pressured. Just cared for. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to BDA for several years, from regular cleanings and checkups to more complicated procedures such as crowns, fillings, and an implant. in all cases, the team at Ballard Dental Arts has been very professional, attentive, and willing to go the distance to insure that I am satisfied and happy with the care they provide.

Very friendly staff that helped me get back some of my dental confidence back with an easy-to-understand plan, and flexible options explained in a very encouraging way. Noteworthy: exceptional experience with the dentist and staff, after a lot of trouble finding a dental team that I can trust. Cannot say better things about Dr. Cho specifically, who I’ve been seeing for years now. the super high-quality standards here are easy to see.

Fantastic experience: I started going to Ballard Dental Arts based on a friend's referral, and I'm so glad I did. It is clean, bright and airy, the front desk staff are kind and extremely helpful, and I love my hygienist. Even after I moved out of Ballard I kept going because of how great they are. Can't say enough good things.

Fantastic experience: When I moved here 3 years ago I came from a cash only dentist and was a youngin who didnt know that I was being ripped off royally. I had delta dental as most do in WA state, and found Ballard Dental Arts through a family member who was a patient here for the last few decades. Needless to say I did not need the referral because the reviews speak for themselves. Its a new building with electronic xrays which are much faster than the old school ones, doctors that are not at retirement age, and they accept insurance. The hygienists have all been really nice and gentle, as well as care about you from start to finish. I choose to pay the extra $40ish dollars for the laser gumline cleaning and found my gingivitis and the depth of my gum pockets have improved by 30%. My last dentist would nag me and try to tell me to water pik, floss, etc more often but I do a lot of home care as I want to keep my teeth clean at all times. Its just me, but I was not making progress until this amazing laser technology and possibly the instrument they use to clean along the gumline combined are really good. I look forward to my visits and know my gums and teeth are healthy in between. Thank you Ballard Dental Arts, all the wonderful docs, and of course Jennifer, a long standing awesome hygienist!

Negative experience: I have had a terrible experience with this practice. Mistakes were made during a routine crown process, such that I had to return 4-5 times for attempted adjustments to the bridge for one of my front teeth which no longer fit. When they finally offered a substituted option for my bridge, it failed within a short period of time. Three or four attempts to re-glue it failed. I have finally had to find a dentist who will do an implant, which involves surgery and about a year-long process, while wearing a substitute bridge. The implant process is very expensive. I likely would have needed this some years in the future, but not after all the failed attempts trying to fix their mistakes. Also, I requested a copy of my records on Oct. 25, 2023. It is now Jan. 14, 2024, and I still don't have them after several follow-up requests. Nancy A

Fantastic experience: Nice facility and I had a lady with brown hair who welcomed me and took my X-rays along with doing other recording things. She was very upbeat, personable and made the dentist experience as comfortable as possible. (I think she was the assistant or another hygienist) I hope I get her again when I go back for my cleaning.

Negative experience: My specific request to see Jennifer ( the only person still working there that I know) for my cleaning was ignored & I was assigned someone else. Also, I found it unprofessional & poor patient treatment that I was subjected to meeting my supposedly new dentist while I am laying flat out, nearly upside down in the chair with a suction hose in my mouth. She barely spoke to me & I was in no position to respond.

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience here. I have dental anxiety, but I always know when I go in everyone will make sure I’m comfortable and aware of everything being done. From the wonderful admins to the chronically competent hygienists to the down-to-earth and kind dentists. I couldn’t recommend Ballard Dental Arts enough!

Fantastic experience: I love this dental office ! I see Dr Sainanee- I trust her implicitly. Dr. S is very honest and she most definitely has a gift. I feel blessed having found her. I haven’t yet gotten to meet everyone yet, but the ones I have worked with are very skilled and enjoyable to be around. Great team!

Fantastic experience: I love my dental hygienist here! She helped take my gums from drab (honestly worse than drab - bloody and inflamed) to fab (seriously). They make me want to go to the dentist! I've never experienced that before, and am so glad I found Ballard Dental Arts.

Fantastic experience: Stephanie is always great to visit for a thorough cleaning and treatments. The staff are always friendly and have yet to experience any noticeable delay in appointment times. Met my new dentist today (former left the practice) and was extremely pleased.

Fantastic experience: They are very prompt every time I come in for my 6 month examination/ cleaning-- maybe a 5 minute wait, nothing like the 20-30 minute wait I have at my primary doctor. I love that they use a laser and a water pick which cuts the scrapping way down. The staff has always been pleasant and friendly with me. A great dental experience.
