Fantastic experience: I was looking around for a new dentist due to proximity and insurance reasons. Family referred me here. I was a bit nervous to make my appointment as I really enjoyed my previous dentist and wasn’t sure if I would be met with the same level of care. After having a tooth concern, I decided to make the call. The team at NorthPointe dental was able to get me in swiftly as a new patient. I had the pleasure of having Anne as my dental hygienist who made me laugh, met me with kindness and kept me informed every step of the appointment. She did an exceptional job and answered any questions I had during my visit. I also had the pleasure to meet Dr. Yun who was also kind and got straight to the point which I appreciate. I felt well informed and cared for after my appointment. If you’re looking for a dentist, I would recommend giving them a call!

Fantastic experience: I'm a fairly new patient at Northpointe Family Dental, and I've been very pleased with the level of service, communication about procedures & prices, and their punctuality. (I quit my previous dental office because they were always running late and I couldn't trust that I'd be on time for the rest of my morning.) I've already recommended Northpointe to a few friends.

Positive experience: I went to NorthPointe Family Dental for years. Always punctual (I've never had to wait past my appointment start time) and the staff is super friendly. Dr. Yun is polite and very efficient. However, I had a negative experience due to some perhaps hasty bonding work that I had done and redone that has left my with chronic pain. I have since moved on to another dentist. I'd still recommend NorthPointe for regular cleanings and check-ups. Service is friendly and efficient. I'm, so far, very pleased with my new dentist who has been able to go in depth with me discussing issues and long-term strategy with my teeth, something I felt like was not particular area of focus at NorthPointe Family Dental - at least not in my case.

Fantastic experience: Our whole family loves the Northpointe Family Dental staff. I've been going there for 9 years, my husband even longer, and our 8 year old hasn't been elsewhere. Dr. Yun handled my daughter's cavity a few years ago (she was probably 5 and she hasn't had a cavity since) without her even flinching and our hygienists are thorough and friendly. We all look forward to getting our teeth cleaned (maybe that's odd, but), I believe a lot of that has to do with the care that they provide.

Fantastic experience: I went here for a low-key dental emergency, and they were able to get me in the next day. I'm very anxious when it comes to dental work, but all the staff are very understanding and supportive.

Negative experience: ***01/2026 UPDATE*** 01/12/2026: Magistrate rules after 01/07/2026 hearing awarding me a full refund of amounts I overpaid in 2021 ($525), plus my expenses ($38.02), plus statutory interest which will not be calculated until NorthPointe has reimbursed me per court order. I can't warn people enough to protect themselves against what this office's billing practices and ethics have become since 11/2024. Request a printout of your ENTIRE Account History Report and keep it. Watch for altered 04/2025 "balance forward" amounts in texted statements. On 12/12 and 12/23/2025 Office Manager/Biller Jessica altered my balance forward twice to create a balance due by me of $550. In court 2 weeks later she stated I owe them $75. She produced zero evidence. I believe she deleted a $600 write off applied to my account in 2021. This would've resulted in wiping out my claim of them owing me $525 plus creating a balance due of $75. I'm grateful for a magistrate who discerned the truth. I can't imagine what precedent would be set if courts start allowing medical or dental providers to delete past write-offs. ***12/2025 Update*** 11/05/2024: Date I was last seen at NorthPointe Dental’s office. 06/2025: In spite of multiple communications from Aetna regarding their review of 2023 charges and a warning letter that he is obligated to follow the terms of his contract with Aetna, Dr. Yun ignores Aetna’s demands. 08/28/2025 Account Statement - Balance Due = 0.00 09/2025: NorthPointe Dental reimburses me $1,113.90 (overpayment of 2023 charges) after I inform him I am filing a small claims suit. 11/18/2025 Account Statement - Balance Due = 0.00 12/01/2025: NorthPointe Dental is served with my small claims suit pertaining to overpayments in 2021 in the amount of $525.00 plus statutory interest. 12/2025: NorthPointe issues 2 billing statements, both of which I believe to be fraudulent. They appear to be based on 2021 charges; however, no details were provided. 12/12/2025 account statement altered my “balance forward” from $0.00 to $709.00. 12/23/2025 account statement altered my “balance forward” from $709.00 to $495.10. Ironically, both arrived at an identical new balance due of $550.00 (small claims suit plus interest?). - 01/07/2026: Small claims hearing scheduled. Please beware that this practice appears to believe they can alter anything on your account (even 4-1/2 years later) and charge you whatever they deem appropriate, regardless of an upcoming court date or the fact they are bound by their contract with Aetna. If you are having problems with them, make sure they are not altering the "balance forward" on your account. You should request your Account History Report monthly so you can see what changes they are creating or altering on past dates of service.

The team is professional and friendly, and they take time to answer questions and make sure you understand everything. Really glad they’re expanding!

Fantastic experience: I’m relatively new to town and recently visited NorthPointe Family Dental & Implant Center, and I had a great experience. Dr. Suk Jun Yun is very efficient and knowledgeable. I went in for an exam and cleaning, and he was fast, thorough, and did a great job. Dr. Yun has a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and advanced training through the Engel Institute and the IADI Fellowship for dental implants. You can really see his level of expertise in the care he provides, and it’s reassuring to know he stays up to date with the latest dental technology. As someone who isn’t a fan of going to the dentist, I really appreciated how kind and non-judgmental the staff was—they made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Yun’s professionalism and attention to detail gave me a lot of confidence. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for an efficient and knowledgeable dentist.

Even something as simple as the numbing shot is done so gently—it hurts so much less than anywhere else I’ve been. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they also work with my Dental One plan. From the receptionist being friendly and eager to assist with getting me checked in and answering all the questions that come with taking yourself to the dentist for the first time as an Adult! Ms. Anne was my dental hygienist! My goodness! Not only is she amazing at her expertise and work! But her ability to hold space for those who have anxious feelings and thoughts when it comes to medical care is very Empathetic and goes to show just how passionate she is about her job! She is an amazing person! Dr Yun was also amazing and very kind! He was very knowledgeable and full of all the answers I needed and seeked during this appointment! All my concerns, they both tackled and ensured I felt heard on! Safe to say I have found a dental home!

I go for my usual dental checkups and I have had crowns down on my four front top teeth due to having my teeth bonded for so many years due to a gap between my two front teeth since I was a child. My teeth are beautiful and my smile is great.

Fantastic experience: Northpoint did an outstanding job of managing me through my first implant. They explained the process thoroughly, they worked with my insurance carrier to optimize my benefits and were transparent with all billing details. In regards to quality, I am very pleased with the appearance and most importantly the bite alignment. I’ve had no pain or functional issues with the new implant. The staff were all friendly and more than happy to share details every step of the way! I cannot say enough how happy I am with the whole process let alone the end results!!

Fantastic experience: Ever since Delta Dental changed their policy on what Dentists would be covered, it was dreadful having to find a new dentist all over again. Luckily, with a little searching I found the people at North point Family Dental. They were all kind, friendly and overall seem fairly happy to come to work (these days a happy work place feels like a really rare find). I would and have recommended them to friends and family in the area. So If you need a need new dental care, and you have Delta Dental don't hesitate to give their smiling staff a chance

Fantastic experience: I really like them. Normally some docs are just wanting to get it over with but they were very nice and helpful. Always made sure to take care of you and if you are nervous, they explain and tell what it would be like so you end up calming down. I feel like a vip there bc I noticed how focused the dentist is on taking care of my teeth which I honestly never seen a doctor care that much so it's very nice place. They are actually here to help you.
