I had a horrible experience with a different dentist, who pulled teeth and caused extremely bad jaw pain for 2 1/2 months. Sara recommended that I go to Oral Surgery Partners and see Dr. Kim to help me with my jaw issue and correct other issues with my teeth. I am so happy I did! (I was absolutely horrified because of what I had experience with the prior dentist.) The moment I walked in the door I was put that ease!! Fantastic experience: My first experience getting a tooth extraction was awful, the guy straddled me and was pulling and twisting like a pitbull holding on to a steak bone!! THIS time at Oral Surgery Partners I was welcomed by the wonderful office staff, prepped by Warren who was more than knowledgeable and polite, and Dr Kim was caring, more than concerned about any pain, and removed the tooth clean and almost pain free!! Fantastic experience: From the front desk to the doctor I had a great experience. I had four wisdom teeth extracted at age 52! It was seamless. Everyone made me feel so comfortable. I have the worlds smallest mouth so my jaw was in a lot of pain but seems much better by day two. The doctor called that night to check on me also. I was very impressed with all the staff. Negative experience: Dr. Kim is great but had I known it would cost me $17,000 for implant surgery ahead of time I would have never done this. The initial visit was around $7000 plus my insurance covered about $1800 (on top of the $7000.) I went back for a 3 month follow up today and was notified that the second portion of the implant process is another $8525.00 and then there is a third portion that General Dentist does that is more $. No wonder why there are so many people without missing teeth in this world. I work for a travel healthcare company and I have Anthem BCBS, they cover none of this. Sad. Unhappy and extremely shocked when I was handed the itemized printout of next portion of the treatment plan. $$$

Dr Win and his assistant were very kind and knowlegable and explained everything in detail to me. I had a similar experience a few years ago with Dr. Kim which is why I only trust them if I should need an extraction or implant. Their staff is wonderful too!

Fantastic experience: Dr Nguyen is amazing! I called early in the morning as I had really bad swelling and needed something for discomfort! Originally I was only gonna have a consultation but they were able to squeeze me in and did a wisdom teeth extraction! It was quick and they were so kind!

I’m one of those anxious patients, but here my jitters immediately subside the minute I walk through the door and see the faces of the incredibly friendly and welcoming front of house staff. They’re always accommodating to my needs and schedule which I truly appreciate. Dr Kim is a highly skilled and competent technician and he has a great bedside manner. He always explains what he’s doing as he performs each step of the procedure. The surgical technicians are second to none, and in my opinion, the very best in the profession. I’ve never leave without having clear and thorough post surgical instructions. The offices are clean and modern and there’s always a feel good vibe in the air. I HIGHLY recommend this practice for any one, of any age, in need of oral surgery. You won’t be disappointed. Take it from someone who’s had a fair number of surgical procedures done.

Fantastic experience: I got 1 wisdom tooth removed and a coronectomy on another wisdom tooth. I had a wonderful experience! For my first time there, Dr. Kim and Sam were great duo. I had Dr. Kim walk me through what the procedure is going to look and telling what I’m expecting to feel during it. This was very reassuring and great to hear. Sam had great cues of focusing on my breath during it which helped me out greatly. Also, both of them had a great bedside manner. Overall, I had a great experience and recommend anyone getting wisdom teeth removal to come here.

Aside from this, my insurance also doesn’t cover my full dental procedures. And I expected to be walking into a large bill, luckily it’s not as over priced as I expected. I proceeded to make my appointment for oral surgery here. For needing three teeth removed and having the fears I have I wasn’t expecting a positive experience but that’s exactly what I got. Fantastic experience: Two weeks ago, I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Kim. The nerves that I had going into the consultation and procedure were quickly lost after hearing how confidently Dr Kim talked about the procedure, and how well he was able to explain the procedure with the X-rays taken during the consultation. I couldn’t believe the scheduling that they had available as well! I went in thinking that I would be scheduling at least a couple of months out, but they had options the following week, to which I took! I was greeted by Dr. Kim’s assistant, and he was very friendly as well! The procedure started promptly and was complete in about an hour. I don’t remember anything from the procedure because I was put on anesthesia. Now for the part I was worried about: recovery. I had no pain the entire recovery without taking pain killers, and two of my teeth were impacted with “Dancing Roots”. There is a new drug on the market that keeps your extraction sites numb for an extended period of time, and it worked exceptionally well! The hardest part was the restriction on my diet. Follow the instructions sheet to a T, and you will have no issues! I highly recommend Oral Surgery Partners and Dr. Kim!

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is already a nerve wracking experience. Going to an oral surgeon to get your teeth taken out is even worse! However, the staff and doctors at OSP Milford make the experience so much better with their kind smiles and knowledge. In the same day, I had a consult and then got my impacted wisdom teeth out under local anesthesia and the only pain I felt was the shots to get numb. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Nguyen made sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on. They also gave me a nice goodie bag of stuff for home care afterwards! If I grew more wisdom teeth I would come back here!

I really did not want to go through the pain and expense of implants, however, I realized that I should have done this many years ago. My dentist will tell you I was never a fan of dentists but I trusted his judgment on this treatment plan. Was he ever spot on. When I met Dr Kim, he explained the entire procedure and developed a plan for me that I could actually live with. He and his entire staff are the best I've ever seen. Fantastic experience: Oral Surgery Partners of Milford is wonderful! The entire staff is kind and caring. My daughter had her wisdom teeth out last year and had a great experience with Dr. Steve Chi-Young Kim. But more recently, she had an abscessed tooth that needed emergency surgical intervention. They saw us immediately without an appointment and the surgery she needed was done right away that day. The staff and Dr. Kara McLaughlin were phenomenal in their care compassion toward my daughter and their expertise.

Negative experience: I had all four wisdom teeth removed at Oral Surgery Partners on a Friday, but their failure to send my prescriptions to CVS left me without any pain medication over the entire weekend. Their emergency hotline, which promised a response within 2 hours, took more than 24 hours to reply, only texting me the next evening to say the scripts were resent—by then the pharmacy was already closed. The intense, throbbing jaw pain and discomfort made eating, sleeping, or even speaking unbearable, turning what should have been manageable recovery into pure agony. Their negligence not only could risk complications like infection or dry socket but also showed a complete disregard for post-operative patient care. Thank you for your response. I understand privacy concerns, but the issue was a clear delay in sending my post-surgery prescriptions (pain meds, antibiotics, and steroids) on a Friday, with your after-hours hotline taking over 24 hours to respond instead of the promised 2 hours. This left me in significant pain and at risk of complications over the weekend, which could have been avoided with better follow-through. I reached out multiple times and only got the scripts resent late Saturday—too late for the pharmacy. While the surgery itself went well, this lapse in post-op support was disappointing and affected my recovery. I'd be happy to discuss privately if you'd like to address it further. I can discuss if your office can lift my phone call.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time having oral surgery partners perform work on me. First was an implant with Dr. Kim in Northborough. The second was a tooth that had to be pulled on New Year’s Eve. Day, they squeezed me in with Dr. Nguyen. He was absolutely fantastic, because I was in some serious pain with an infected tooth that needed to be pulled. In the end, it all went very very well, he even called me that night to see how I was doing. And it doesn’t end there. Everyone in Both offices are absolutely top shelf.
