Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Alpha Dental. I came in needing quite a bit of dental work, and from the beginning I was nervous—especially when it came to having my front teeth done. Your smile is such a personal thing, and I wanted the end result to look natural and still look like me. I recently had four crowns placed on my upper front teeth, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. During the process I was nervous about what the permanent crowns would look like, but my dentist kept reassuring me that the final result would be completely different from the temporary crowns and that I was going to love them. He was right! The difference is incredible. My new teeth are beautiful, natural-looking, and exactly the kind of improvement I was hoping for. They didn’t give me an unnaturally perfect or overly white smile—they gave me a better version of my smile, which was extremely important to me. Just as importantly, I felt cared for throughout the entire process. Everything was explained to me, my concerns were taken seriously, and I never felt like I was being rushed through something that was a very big deal to me. I’ve included my before, temporary, and final photos because I think the results speak for themselves. For the first time in a long time, I genuinely love seeing my smile in pictures. Thank you to everyone at Alpha Dental who was part of this process. I couldn’t be happier with my new smile and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is nervous about dental work or considering cosmetic/restorative work on their front teeth. Fantastic experience: I generally have anxiety before going to a dentist and try to avoid making appointments as long as possible. Today I went to see Dr. Salem because I needed a crown. The process was quick and painless. His dental assistant ashley was wonderful. She explained everything in detail as she was going through the process with me which made the whole thing more comfortable. This visit today has truly reduced my anxiety level about going to see the dentist in the future

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my recent visit for a crown replacement. The office is very clean, staff is friendly and professional. Three weeks ago I had to cancel my appt due to my dog needing to be euthanized and the virtual assistant even showed empathy when I shared my reason for cancellation. I was shocked when VA said we are sorry for your loss. It has been a wonderful experience joining this practice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Alpha Dental for many years. The hygienists are excellent. The past few visits I’ve had Caitlyn and she was terrific. Six months ago Dr. Minal Salem replaced 2 crowns and the procedure went flawlessly. His assistants were great. I don’t have Dental Insurance, however, Alpha Dental accepts Care500 Dental Plan and I enrolled. The hygienist gave me the information pamphlet with the website to enroll. Excellent savings! The Office Manager, Ezra, is fantastic! Not only is she efficient with billing, she’s an integral part of the dental practice. She has a calming presence and was “my security blanket” for my crown replacement! Thank you Ezra! Thank you to all the staff and Dr Minal Salem at Alpha Dental.

Negative experience: I have had a terrible experience with a recent dental procedure at Alpha Dental in Franklin. Follow up and aftercare were extremely poor, office is disorganized and all staff lack empathy. I was sent prescriptions that did not reach the pharmacy. When I realized and attempted to call after 5pm and rectify the prescription, the office did not have after hours coverage which is a danger to all patients of the practice. I would not recommend the practice to anyone and am actively seeking a new practice for myself and my family.

The initial exam was great - the dentist was thorough and pointed out a few issues that needed attention. Fantastic experience: today I experienced the best and painless dental cleaning provided by Caitlyn Shepard! She should be an instructor!! I also had the same wonderful dental experience by my dentist, Dr Alami. And not to forget the wonderful Staff. Highly recommend! Upon a second visit, Dr Alami and his assistants were indeed fantastic! I would be remiss if I did not include mentioning the front office staff as well. From the efficiency performed by Ann , to the smiling faces of Ezra and Julianna, they all make you feel welcomed and taken care of. They are the best!!

Positive experience: Was disappointed when they rescheduled my appointment from August to December, they didn't tell me Michelle retired. When I went today they didn't have me on the schedule for today. Fortunately Maggie was available who was very good. Also they had me booked on a day Dr Salem doesn't work in Franklin. After a follow-up discussion with staff, this appears to be a “one off” occurrence and looking forward to continued excellence service.

Negative experience: Was my dentist for 25+ years but was refused service for “smelling like a cigarette” I do NOT smoke cigarettes but I AM a medical cannabis user and smoked to help my anxiety before getting a filling fixed. Will not be back

Fantastic experience: I was having sensitivity in one of my back teeth. I was traveling in 2 days. The folks at alpha dental were able to give me an appointment so i did not have to change my travel plans. I appreciated the ability to take me in quickly.

Just had a crown,I was putting it off…didn’t want to go ,but the dentist is smart and kind and his assistant was just as wonderful . The whole experience was really great. So happy I have them.

Negative experience: Changed from a previous 5 star review about 6 months ago… This past week; Had the worst visit so far…went for a regular cleaning. Turns out the person I was expecting no longer works there. They gave me someone who was “helping out for the day”. He poked my gums more than he actually cleaned them then when noticed he was running out of time he rushed the cleaning. I walked in with no pain at all and left with the worst pain I’ve had in a long time. He kept saying my gum pocket records were inaccurate and was trying to measure them with a metal instrument. Felt like he was making the pockets deeper, my gums were so swollen when I left that I was in pain for 2 days. I had to take otc meds just to sleep. Awful service. Also, I was early for my appointment and still waited.was really disappointed especially since the last time I had a cleaning it went great. This time the person performing the “cleaning” didn’t even care that he was causing me pain. My facial expressions and audible painful sounds didn’t stop him from pushing harder. Honestly really considering a different dental office.

Positive experience: My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed. The front desk staff was friendly and kind. The surgical staff was both competent and caring, except for one thing. My daughter was under anesthesia and was given very little time to recover from it. They got her out of the chair about 10-15 minutes after the procedure was finished and my daughter was still quite out of it. The facility should have some kind of recovery area so that people who take awhile to come out of anesthesia have a place to do so.

Negative experience: Patient Beware – My Experience with Alpha Dental in Franklin Two years ago, I visited Alpha Dental in Franklin for a routine cleaning, as they were listed as a provider under my insurance. The dental hygienist was friendly, did a thorough cleaning, and mentioned everything looked good. I asked if there were any concerns with my teeth, and she assured me there were none. However, she said the on-call dentist would also take a look, which I expected. Now, for context — I’m 56 years old and have never had a cavity in my life, aside from two tiny fillings I got as a child. The young dentist came in, reviewed my X-rays, glanced at the back of my mouth, and immediately said I had a cavity that needed to be treated. It caught me off guard — he didn’t examine my entire mouth, just went straight to one spot like he knew exactly where to look. This raised a red flag for me. I decided to seek a second opinion, which I paid for out of pocket. That dentist found nothing concerning. Fast forward two years, and I’m still seeing my current dentist with zero signs of a cavity or any related issue. Recently, I received a small bill from Alpha Dental. I had no issue paying it, but I decided to call the office to express my concerns. Unfortunately, the person I spoke to was defensive and told me, “Cavities are subjective — one dentist might see one, another might not.” That response was both baffling and concerning. How can something so specific be that open to interpretation, especially when two years later, there’s still no sign of any cavity? The bottom line: I no longer trust Alpha Dental. In my opinion, they were either careless or attempting to upsell unnecessary treatment. I won’t be going back, and I cannot recommend them to others. Be cautious and always get a second opinion if something doesn’t feel right.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my daughter here over the past few months. It has been great. Easy to get an appointment, really great staff. They are really good with young kids. DR Alami has been great with her. We also had DR Salem and she was great too. The staff were patient and worked with me when I forgot a referral. Great place to go.

Negative experience: I have been a long-time patient of Alpha Dental in Franklin, Massachusetts. I have been very disappointed after my last few visits. It seems that they've had a personnel change. They sacrifice patient care for profit. In my opinion, they are turning into the Walmart of dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Hello .... Well not to many people like to go to the dentist ? But you know you have to go if you want your teeth to stay in your mouth until your very old and grey... Every time I visit Alpha Dental. I'm always greeted by someone who is very pleasurable and concerned about your needs. The wait to get to the chair is never very long. You might have to fill out a questionnaire to keep Alpha up to date on your health. It's never a problem to take care of this. When you are called in to go to the chair ? You are made as comfortable as possible and explained thoroughly if you have any questions . All of the people are professionals . They do a very complete and comfortable as possible cleaning of your teeth . I would of given the place a 5 star if it wasn't for the uncomfortable x ray plastic plate film that hurts the roof of my mouth when I bite down to hold still for the picture. Maybe if they made the plate a little smaller ? Well anyways... I'm always very satisfied when I'm done... I just wish the cost of crowns were not so very expensive even with having insurance help pay half ... Especially when you have been told by the very kind and thoughtful dentist that you will need four in the future....lol

Fantastic experience: I'm an older guy, 63, and have many experiences with Dental Hygenists (RDH), and I have to give Michelle at the Franklin office a solid 5 stars! She has an amazing, gentle but thorough technique, and never causes me pain or discomfort. My mouth feels amazing and like new. She even tolerates my continued lack of flossing, however always gives her subtle hint that my "admission of non-flossing" is the first step to improving! Michelle, you're awesome.
