Everything is explained clearly and upfront, so you have time to make informed decisions about your child's care. My favorite thing about this office is their focus on prevention and education. That was something we were completely missing at our previous dentist, which was really geared toward adults. In fact, when I asked about educating kids on dental care there, I was basically told, "Yeah, we don't really do that here." At Dr. Groat's office, it's the exact opposite. Almost every visit includes reminders and encouragement about brushing and flossing, and I love having the dental team help reinforce those healthy habits. Sometimes kids listen a little better when it isn't coming from Mom! The office itself is so much fun. They decorate for the seasons, the atmosphere is welcoming, and they even have a retro Pac-Man game that my son loves. I've also never had an issue with wait times. I've brought my son in for a cleaning during my lunch break and made it back to work on time with no stress. Compared to our old dentist, where I practically had to budget an extra hour and a half for every appointment, that's amazing. If you're looking for a kid-friendly dentist who truly prioritizes your child's comfort, well-being, and overall experience, this is the place. Fantastic experience: Dr. Groat and his staff are very kind and patient. They were all wonderful throughout the entire visit.This was by far, the most calm my child has been at the dentist, ever! They kept my child and I informed of what was happening every step of the way. I really liked that they encouraged autonomy by allowing my child to select her preferred flavor of toothpaste and fluoride as well as the color of toothbrush that she liked best. They also helped my child understand that certain foods and drinks are not the greatest choices when it comes to dental care. They even gave her a tooth snack guide that delineates common food and drinks and the likelihood of causing cavities. Furthermore, the business website was easy to navigate. I was able to read about Dr. Groat’s practice and also request a callback all via online. I was contacted the very next morning and my child was scheduled to come in the following business day. The pre-visit forms were also easy to complete. The online fillable forms were accessible via a link sent to my cell which was very practical. I didn’t have to print the forms and bring them to the office at all which I appreciated. I also like the appointment confirmation and reminders via text. More importantly, I loved that there is parking on site! I highly recommend Dr. Groat’s Pediatric Dentistry office!

He converses with them and explains everything he is doing. My kids are never scared to visit him. The office itself is very clean, well organized, and set up to cater to children. My kids love the PacMan arcade game in the waiting room. Lastly, there is little to no wait time. I have never seen it overcrowded, or loud. It is a peaceful and welcoming environment. What makes me more happy and recommend Dr Groat to everyone I know is that My girls LOVE going to the dentist.. they look forward every single time. Dentist can be traumatizing but Dr. Groat knows exactly how to do it and hide those instruments, They have no Idea they are getting their gums numb to cover cavities while watching a movie lol which is the favorite part for my girls when getting treatments done is watching a movie! Dr. Groat and the staff deserve a 20 out of 10!!!

Appointments are easy to schedule. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. My children enjoy choosing a treat from a cool catalog, which always excites them. They are always happy to visit Dr. Groat, he takes his time to make them feel comfortable and remembers details like their favorite sports. The office is very special, and I would recommend it 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Groat and his team have always made us feel as comfortable as possible. My son is visually impaired and has a little anxiety around doctors, but they have done everything to try to make him more comfortable and fun so he’s not scared. My son had to have two teeth extracted under anesthesia and Doctor Groat was amazing at letting us know how things were going and was always available if we had any concerns. I highly recommend this Dentist Office for your littles, especially if you’re from the military and trying to find a place that takes TriCare (I believe they still take TriCare).

My toddler absolutely loves going to the dentist because of how nice they are - he gets to ride up and down in the chair, they explain to him everything that is going to happen and give him a sense of control, he gets to pick out a toy from the treasure box, etc. He feels like such a big kid when and last time we left, he told me he wanted to go back again tomorrow. At one point he complained that his tooth hurt, and Dr. Groat's office was able to accommodate us for an appointment the same day. I also really like how they do not push unnecessary treatments. Choosing a pediatric dentist is essential for young kids and their comfort level and it's obvious that this dentist's office excels at making a trip to the dentist a positive experience for kids.

Fantastic experience: As nervous and scary it is to take our babies to a good Dentist this place makes all our worries go away! The Doctor and staff were nothing but welcoming and so kind!!! My Girls loved the experience and that makes me so happy!! I alone love the dentist and now knowing my girls love it to because of Groat Pediatrics dentistry is the best feeling ever!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best pediatric dentist! My son calls him “my doctor friend.” Dr Groat so patient with the kiddos and explains everything in kid-friendly terms. Both my kiddos have had some serious dental work needed and yet they aren’t scared to go here.

Fantastic experience: My daughter always has the best time at the dentist! Yes I said good time! Lol! She loves coming and wearing the cool sunglasses and getting her teeth polished with bubblegum by Ms Jenny. Dr groat is so nice and takes time to see what I need or if I have any questions about my daughter’s teeth. The receptionists are just as nice and super sweet and the whole office just really clean! Love that they genuinely care about their patients!
