Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Experience at Carson Dental Care! I honestly never thought I could say this about a dental treatment, but my experience at Carson Dental Care was truly amazing. I had no pain at all—from the beginning of the procedure until the very end! I have had traumatic dental experiences since childhood and throughout adulthood. Back in the Philippines, I had dentists who broke and prepared my teeth for metal crowns on both my upper and lower teeth. The experience was extremely painful, and it left me traumatized. Unfortunately, even after all those treatments, my bite alignment and TMJ problems were never completely resolved. When I came to Carson Dental Care, I was amazed by the difference. Dr. Maria Cecille Aluning carefully corrected my bite alignment and removed the old metal crowns that had been placed on my teeth in the Philippines. She also extracted an infected tooth—and amazingly, I felt no pain at all! What impressed me even more was that my bite felt properly aligned right after the treatment. I no longer need to use my temporary splint device to help correct my bite. After years of fear and difficult dental experiences, I finally found a dentist I can truly trust. ❤️ Thank you, Dr. Maria Cecille Aluning, for your gentle hands, expertise, patience, and for giving me a completely different dental experience. Positive experience: I am overall happy with the dental services but upset on how every appointment scheduled I arrive on time and still have to wait past 30 mins to be taken in sometimes wait in the back too. I understand when they’re a few minutes behind but not every visit! Perhaps the staff needs to understand and give attention to this as to respect the customers time how can you guys improve this I don’t know how often this happens to others.

Negative experience: Came here over a year ago to get some cavities filled up and left with permanent sensitivity and damage to my teeth. I had 3 cavities filled since I hadn’t been to the dentist in a decade and she over did the cavities and didn’t drill them down to fit my previous bite. My mouth was in pain for the next 3 month because of the lack of attention even after telling her it felt wrong. I had to take pain med multiple times and day for those 3 months. Fortunately I found natural remedies and after going back to her office 10 separate appointments to get my bite fixed after my initial appointment I am in better condition. I go to a different dentist and the difference is night and day, especially with the receptionist. I was gaslit into thinking the pain was my fault and was encouraged to get thousand dollar procedures to fix a problem I didn’t have until she filled my cavities. Other may have different experiences but please be cautious and if you are experiencing pain don’t let her or her team convince you otherwise!

Negative experience: Closed on a Thursday. I just called and a lady answered and I told her what was going on. Then she asked, what’s your name? I gave her my name. Then she said we are closed. SO WHY DID YOU ANSWER THE PHONE? She kinda snickered in the phone. I just hung up.

Fantastic experience: IS there any rating more than 10/10..! Dr. Maria Aluning is JUST WHAT a DENTIST should be..! CARING, KIND, VERY PROFESSIONAL and very knowledgeable..! I had my teeth extracted (multiple, mind you.!) and she promised that there will be no pain.. I was reluctant, at first, since, I had bad experiences with other dentists. But she explained and made me feel comfortable and at ease. But when the procedure was done... I was surprised, there was NO PAIN, AT ALL..! She is VERY GOOD in what she does... She even called the night after my procedure to check on me.. You will not get that from any dentist.! Personal touch..! Now, I have my son schedule his dental procedure... I believe, we found a person that will take care of us.! She is one of a kind...!!! Also, the staff, MARS, MERLINDA, MARIA and they're AWESOME....! They treat you as a family.! Fantastic experience: I had my first visit to Carson Dental Care and it was a great experience. Cozy office with kind, helpful staff and a welcoming environment. I had my filling done by Dr Aluning. She was very informative about my questions about the procedure and also gave me options regarding my teeth. I was amazed with their scanning machine where you can see the 3D hologram of your teeth. This contraption is a complete upgrade which is far more superior compared to other dental offices that I visited. Kudos to Dr Aluning and staff for my painless procedure. She used topical anesthesia which was very convenient for me. I highly recommend Carson Dental Clinic. They are the best in L.A County. They're very affordable and accepts most insurances.

Negative experience: I'm giving this office a 2 only because the staff was nice and the office was clean but the dental doctor was not knowledgeable of Medi-cal insurance coverage. I came in for 2 front chipped teeth and was in need for a serious emergency for appearance. After getting my x-rays done I was told I needed 2 crowns, which eventually I knew that I was going to need it in the long run, but at this moment I was only looking for temporary help. He gave me the option of getting bonding /fillings (which is what I was requesting) but he told me medi-cal wouldn't cover the bonding and if I go with this option it will break withina week. I explained that I was aware that Medi-cal covered it and im pretty sure it will last longer then a week even with my over bite...but he said he never heard of them covering it because it was considered cosmetic and they didn't cover it...only if I had cavities. So it was going to cost me $2400 for the crowns or $420 for the fillings. I almost gave in for the $420 but knowing that I could possibly get it done for free I said I will do more research and left. I went to another referred dental office near my home and guess what..Medi-cal covered my fillings/bonding like I knew they would. And I do not have cavities in either one of my teeth. Leaving this review just to say DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH because sometimes the doctor/dentist doesn't even know. Or if you have trust issues like me they could just try to get you for your money thinking you don't know your information. I normally don't leave bad reviews but this was wasn't okay. Times are hard and it is important that the people getting paid to care for you should know their work and benefit information. Hopefully this review will help this office update their knowledge on benefit coverage and not tell patients false information. Oh yeah...my new fillings feel and looks great. My bite is comfortable as well. I believe this will last longer than a week.

I love that it is a mother and daughter dentist and a family run business. They recently added some dental hygienists to the staff. In particular Mariah is incredible. She will give you the best teeth cleaning of your life. I really can’t say enough good things about her.
