Fantastic experience: Our family of 5 has been coming here for several years, and I appreciate how patient and caring they have been with all of us. When going over the treatment my son needed today, Brittany took the time to explain what was going on with my son's teeth and what would happen during the appointment. I felt nervous when I saw the price for the treatment and was gonna try to postpone it, but Brittany and Haden were able to help me get on an affordable payment plan so we could get it all knocked out today. I'm so grateful for them ❤️

Fantastic experience: Kudos to Fran assistant manager at Mesuite Dental. It's always a pleasure seeing Fran when I come for dental service. She is very friendly, and greats you with a very big welcoming smile once you enter the office. Fran has gone out of her way to ensure that I am using my dental insurance to its maximum and that means a lot, especially w hen on a fixed income. I really feel special when there and from What Ican see, I know that others feel the same.

Positive experience: I wanted to wait until after all my appointments to do a completely honest review.1st let me say I am very happy with all my dental work . my 1st appointment was very informative. Dr. Y knew his stuff and he was very quick and gave me a great treatment plan the only downside was that he hurt me while numbing during my deep cleaning to the point I cried in my 30 years I’ve never cried from numbing, day 2 My root canal with Dr A was nothing short of amazing I fell asleep during the entire thing , last day 3 My extractions . The Dr and staff were great I woke up on my last extraction but still felt nothing . The only issue was being told to arrive at 11:15 appt at 11:30 didn’t get to a room until 1pm and not leaving until 3 waiting an hour and a half before getting back and prepped is unacceptable especially when you have to have someone waiting on you . I did receive many apologies which is a plus but the communication was lacking. Also thank you Hayden for working with me and my budget !!! I really appreciate that.

Negative experience: They want to sell deep cleanings and charge you $20 for fluoride when all along my insurance covers them. I’ve been going here over 5 years and will never recommend this to place to anyone. They do not value customer care, the staff has limited knowledge about dental health and hygienists are out to take your money. Don’t waste your time! You will not like it here. Long wait time, no weekend availability, limited doctors and they only come certain days out the month.

Negative experience: Dentist office is horrible. Staff is unprofessional. My son received braces and once braces were removed we did not receive the necessary follow up care. I have a family of 5 and we slowly moved away from this facility for lack care and knowledge

Fantastic experience: AWESOME ON TOP OF AWESOMENESS!!!! I called this place due to my previous new dentist dropping the ball big time and wasting my time. I was so upset and the voice on the other end was very empathetic and personable to the point it calmed me immediately! Got in there and was very nervous and anxious BUT once again the staff and doctor calmed me and got me in ASAP to do the work that I needed. Mind you Ivy trash dental had seen me twice and scheduled a third before any work was done I can honestly say I appreciate Mesquite Dental and I think I found my new home. Thank you guys so much for being there for me!!!!!

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Mesquite Dental Group and Orthodontics for my son’s very first dental visit. As a parent of a seven-year-old, I was a little nervous, but the dental hygienist was absolutely amazing—so patient, kind, and great at explaining everything in a way that made my son feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Youssif was attentive, gentle, and took the time to check in with my son and answer our questions, which made a huge difference. The entire visit felt welcoming and positive, and my son left feeling proud and happy instead of scared. Highly recommend this office for families and kids—such a great first dental experience!

Fantastic experience: Came here for the first time last week for a routine checkup and my experience was great! Hayden helped get me checked in for the appointment seamlessly. I didn'thave my insurance card physically but he was able to make it work with a picture. Oanh helped get me prepped taking some quick xrays and also did a fantastic job with polishing at the end! And Dr Daison talked through everything he was seeing and doingduring the appointment as well as taking time at the end to answer any questions I had. Overall a great experience

Negative experience: I have a really bad experience at this place. I liked my dentist who performed work but we had issues with our payment plan due to the government shutdown and communicated as such. Once everything was back on track I got back on the payment plan. I paid to get started and my next payment after that. They kept adding money to my amount owed. I spoke to several people that confirmed the lower amount and said sorry but again started to add more money to my account owed. I spoke Jonathan supposedly he’s the manager of the finances and he kept reassuring it’s fixed. I got another message about them sending my account to collections for a higher amount AGAIN after they charged my card for the payment plan. He now said he needs to do a ticket which may take a week even with high priority. They don’t care about you or your finances just keeping their business afloat by scaling prices and customers. I spoke lady in the front desk who was nasty until her colleague walked in from the back and she tried to switch her tone. I went above Jonathan to Dr. Saad Youssif, he was no help. He rushed me off the phone back to Jonathan. They also chose the codes that cost rather than using the free codes when running your insurance. They are a scam. Beware at all cost. Don’t say I don’t warn tpu. And CHECK YOUR BILLS WITH THEM!

Fantastic experience: This was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a dentist office! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Maria took the time to explain payment options and got me the best rate possible! Dr. Shen was great as well! I’m happy I was able to find them and become a new patient! Negative experience: All I have to say is, if I cannot say some thing nice, I will not say anything at all! Well, after reading the other reviews I have to say a little more! Mesquite Dental Group you should be ashamed of yourselves! As hard as it is for people you all want to add insult to injury and try to rip people off! May God have mercy on your souls because you truly do not have to treat customers the way that you do! Well, it took me 5 days to go to another dentist office since this one refused to clean my teeth because I declined the $995 out of pocket deep cleaning for the periodontist disease that the hygienist said that I had! The dentist here said that I had two hairline cracked teeth that needed crowns immediately! The cost with my insurance for both was about $4,800. I knew something was up when they sent the little lady in to polish my teeth without cleaning them! I walked out after they told me that I would not be getting my teeth cleaned. My only regret was not telling my husband who also had an appointment at the same time that I was leaving. My new dentist that I went to not only cleaned my teeth with a regular cleaning, she told me, you have two teeth that may have cavities and need crowns, but, not Today! I asked her, “So do I have periodontist disease?,” She said, “You are boarder-line, but you don’t need a deep cleaning or anything!” She put such a big smile on my face with those few words! They cleaned and polished my teeth and sent me on my Merrily way with my dentist bag of goodies and my 6 month appointment! Mesquite Dental Group- thanks for the valuable lesson! Update: Hopefully this is the last one. I did want to mention a couple of things this Dental Office did. 1.) They checked to see if we had Dental Insurance and then scheduled us to see an Out of Network Dentist. Watch out for that. Our Insurance Company said it was our fault that we went through an Out of Network Dentist so they would not pay anything for the deep cleaning that my husband received. 2.) After declining the $3964.00 worth of services that were placed on a brand new credit card, the lady in the office lied and said it would be credited back on the card. The credit card company Community Bank, has been hounding us for 3 months for $4,800. We returned to the office today Dec 1, 2025 to see why we were still be hounded. Some kind of way, the $3,964 was mysteriously sitting on their books!

Negative experience: This office has very predatory and greedy business practices. They will unreasonably price you and push for services you don’t need.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at this office. My appointment was automatically cancelled simply because I did not confirm it—something I was never told was required. The office manager explained that if a patient doesn’t confirm, they assume the patient is not coming and give the slot to emergencies because the providers’ time is valued. While I understand managing emergencies, this policy was never in place during the many years I’ve been a patient, even before they became part of Smile Generation. Although they still agreed to see me that day, the lack of communication was unacceptable. At no point was I informed that failing to confirm would result in my appointment being cancelled. Had this been clearly communicated, I would have confirmed without hesitation. Instead, I arrived expecting a normal appointment only to learn it had been cancelled without my knowledge. After being a loyal patient for so many years, this was frustrating and disappointing. The way this situation was handled showed a clear breakdown in communication and respect for long-term patients. Because of this, I will no longer be returning as a patient

Fantastic experience: The best Dental Group! All staff welcomed me from the moment I walked in. Ana is the best, she is patient in explaining the process with me prior to my appointment and answered all my questions. Ms. Ana has helped me understand my treatment plan. Dr. Yossif, he’s very knowledgeable and dental assistant Carlos helped make me feel at ease during my procedure. I would highly recommend to check them out, all the staff and doctor’s are amazing! This is a hidden gem in Mesquite. I would highly recommend to visit this Dental Office, everyone here has made my overall experience great!

Negative experience: The front desk person was rude and not helpful at all barely said a few words. They just want to sell you deep cleanings and expensive treatments. I told them I only wanted the one covered by my insurance plan, because this time I didn’t want the deep cleaning (I’ve had too many expenses), but she refused. She said it wasn’t possible, that I had to follow the treatment plan I already had. I ended up having to cancel the appointment, and she just said, “OK, you can go now.” I think all those positive reviews are probably because they offer discounts.

I am very terrified of needles and cleanings, but I have been coming to this office for years and when they changed over to these two individuals working here I was nervous. Dr Yousiff told me I needed a crown but I have never had one done before. I was scared but Rebecca made me feel so comfortable and reassured me that he was good and I trusted her and she was correct. They are the only ones I allow in my mouth. They are amazing.

Negative experience: Came to this place based on great reviews, do not let that deceive you! I went in for a basic checkup and cleaning. The dentist hadn’t even stepped into the room and the dental assistant informed me that my gums were a bit inflamed. and asked me if I wanted a “scaling periodontal deep cleaning “ , I asked her if that was necessary . Before the dentist shows up, the office manager barges into the room and gives me quotes on the deep cleaning and said that I had gingivitis and that they could not do a basic cleaning, only polishing of the teeth. I was very upset because WHY is the office manager telling me that I have gingivitis?! Shouldn’t that be coming from the actual dentist?! So disappointing, all I got was polishing and floss on my teeth. I am now here a 2nd time and they are pushing me to purchase the deep cleaning again! I’m definitely not coming back ever. Major red flags at this place!

Negative experience: Apparently, they have a $60 deal going on right now for exam x-rays and cleaning. I don’t have insurance so I would have to pay out-of-pocket which is fine. But after my x-rays, they said I needed to pay $2000 for the cleaning which then they lowered to $900. I had called the day before to make sure the price was going to be $60 for a regular cleaning even if I needed a deeper cleaning and they had confirmed I could still do a regular cleaning, but of course the price went up the day of. This discrepancy obviously put the dentist, the dental assistants, and myself in an awkward situation where I ultimately walked out without even getting a cleaning. They wanted to charge me $60 just for a polishing and flossing. The advertisement is a complete scam and that whole interaction with the dentist, the dental assistants, and the office workers was a waste of time and a terrible experience. I never want to have to negotiate prices with five different people in the same office, as I lay in an exam chair ever again.

Negative experience: I visited this office based on a strong word-of-mouth recommendation and was very impressed with the dentist. She was knowledgeable, kind, and professional, and I truly wanted this to be a positive experience. The dental assistant who helped me was also very nice and helpful, and the rest of the staff treated me respectfully. Unfortunately, my interaction with the front desk receptionist, Anna, was disappointing. I was quoted $960 for a periodontal deep cleaning, which my insurance later confirmed should have been $180 with a $5 copay. I had thoroughly checked with my insurance beforehand and again after my visit, and both times confirmed the correct amount. When I questioned the discrepancy, Anna was argumentative, and it appears she was quoting me out-of-network costs despite my insurance showing the office was in-network. After I agreed to pay her amount to avoid a surprise bill, she began speaking about me in my presence. Because of this distraction, I also did not receive the referral I had come in for. I later learned they offer “spin the wheel” discounts for patients who leave positive Google reviews, but not for honest or mixed feedback. I was not offered this promotion. This raised further concerns about transparency, especially since an incorrect copay likely meant other quoted treatment costs, such as my wisdom teeth removal, may have also been inaccurate. While I greatly respect and appreciate the dentist’s professionalism and the kindness of the dental assistant, the front office’s conduct and pricing inconsistencies left me unable to proceed with treatment here.

Positive experience: Best experience ever, Dr. Daison was amazing, gave me best options for my treatment. Anna was very sweet and very kind.

Negative experience: You have to be careful in dealing with this Clinic. My impression is that they will take you for as much money as they can even when you have insurance. In May 2025 I went in for a root canal and a crown on ONE tooth. I had dental insurance. I was told that I would have to pay about $1600 up front and they will also claim about $1500 from my insurance, for a total of $3100, for ONE TOOTH. I requested a pre-estimate be sent to my insurance company before I commit to the procedure. I was told it would take months. I then contacted my insurance company and based on the codes they notified me I would have to pay a total of $650. I had the procedure done in June 2025 and I paid the $650.I was told by the Clinic that I had paid in full and had no further balance. To my surprise I received a bill from them in July 2025 to say I owed them $52.I contacted the Insurance company and they said I had no further balance. However I went ahead and paid the $52. Well about two weeks later I received another bill from them to say I owed them another $112.All this after being told in June that I had no further balance. I am in the process of filing a complaint against them as well as filing a report with the FTC. It seems that they will rip you off for as much as they can. Please do your research before signing with this clinic.

Negative experience: Went for a basic cleaning and was told I have a gum issue that would require a 3,200.00 deep cleaning and I had to pay $1,200.00 after insurance. I went somewhere else and found that a basic cleaning was all I needed. Also if I did get the deep cleaning I would only pay $900 out of pocket so it would have been so much cheaper with insurance at other places. I knew it was a rip off when I asked them to print the 4 pages of work they claim I needed and they printed it but took the prices off. They will rip you off and offer you take out a credit loan to help rip you off.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a cleaning and my experience was great! Super fast to be seen and they were really friendly people. Jonathan was at the front desk and was very welcoming and personable. Ana was super sweet and professional and worked well my dentist Dr. Daison. He was super thorough with his explanation of the plan and was always making sure I was comfortable and not in too much pain during the cleaning. It's hard to find a dentist with good people, so I'd totally recommend.

It had been a while since I last been to the dentist. However these ladies made me happy to consistently take better care of my teeth and go to the dentist.

He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. A huge thank you to Irene and Ana, the dental assistants, who were both incredibly friendly and attentive. They helped create a calm, welcoming environment from the moment I sat in the chair. And shoutout to Jonathon, the office manager, for being so organized and helpful with scheduling and insurance questions. The whole team works together seamlessly, and it really shows. Also it’s close to home’ so will be coming for all my treatments as well as I would refer to all my family and friends. Fantastic experience: Im at very very nervous person when it comes to going to the dentist. My blood pressure goes up. But Dr. Youssif was very patient with me. He allowed me to take breaks when I raised my had and spoke to me in a kind voice, which made me feel comfortable. Thank you Dr Youssif you did an awesome job.

Jaime has the skills to calm you if you anxious. Phuong will keep your gums clean and healthy. Everyone is great and takes time to answer questions.

Negative experience: I have gone to my dentists for years and years every six months for regular cleanings. Then I moved to the Mesquite area and went to this dentist for a cleaning. The moment I walked in they asked me if I wanted a deep cleaning. I said that I just wanted the cleaning covered by my insurance. After taking X-rays they informed me I needed a $1200 deep cleaning not covered by my insurance. And they refused to do the regular cleaning covered by my insurance. I saw that another person who reviewed this company and gave a negative review for exactly the same kind of suspicious shenanigans. They apparently only wanted me as a customer if they could bleed me dry with something that I never needed in the past.
