Negative experience: I called to make an appointment because I’ve as in severe pain they got me in right away, I then seen the dentist they tell me I have 2 bad teeth that were really bad then sent me on my way because they didn’t have the time to pull them while I was there and wanted me to wait a whole week. Thanks for nothing.

Fantastic experience: I went into my periodontal deep cleaning at Afinia Dental – Eastgate fully prepared for discomfort and counting ceiling tiles, but instead I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and painless the whole experience was. The team made me feel completely at ease, explained everything clearly, and somehow turned a procedure I was dreading into something almost… enjoyable (as enjoyable as dental work can be ). Their professionalism, kindness, and gentle approach made all the difference, and I walked out wondering why I stressed about it in the first place. Fantastic experience: To be honest I was very disappointed when I had to redo their new patient paperwork . I completed it online but somehow it got lost on the way from my house to their office. But after that problem was corrected, it was smooth sailing. The Dentist I saw was very kind and knowledgeable. The dental assistants went out of their to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Fantastic experience: The initial visit included my most thorough dental evaluation ever experienced in my seven decades. Their technology is up-to-date, and the in-house cancer screening, my first ever, lends great peace of mind. Staff was friendly, respectful, and totally professional. Their recommendations were clearly explained and on paper to take home for my deliberation. No pressure ever. I drove almost an hour to get there, but it is worth it. I am recommending them to all my friends, especially the seniors like me.

Fantastic experience: I have been getting my dental care from Afinia for many years. Over that time I have broken several teeth and old crowns. Amazingly, I have always been scheduled on the same or next day whenever this has happened. Dr. Voris is a superb and empathetic dentist, and his work is top-notch. The office staff are friendly and first class. Afinia is an exemplary dental practice, and I give them my highest possible recommendation.

Positive experience: when u hear a hygienist from across the room bitching bout her kids and baby dad and it puts u in a anxiety attack. WOW is all I can say. This should not hAve been done in front of clients. Otherwise not a bad office just take care of the drama of ur hygienist as we should not hAve to hear that as clients for at least a good 5mins I heard it I stood up and said something. Never had an anxiety attack before in any office. Come on is all I have to say not professional at all.

They are friendly informative and most of all affordable. I would recommend anyone to Afinia if you need a dentist. I am a patient for life.

Negative experience: 1. Repeatedly failed to return phone calls, leaving me in pain for 10 days. 2. Despite having in writing that my insurance would pay 100% and agreeing to bill my insurance, they tried to trick me into paying hundreds of dollars i don't owe.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vorris is a true master of his craft. I have been a patient for 5 years and can say I have never had an unpleasant experience. I have had cleanings , fillings, extractions, and pulp caps performed all have gone better than planned. I can't tell you enough how minimal the amount of pain I have felt during appointments and after appointments have been compared to every other dentist I have been seen by. Fantastic experience: My wisdom tooth decided to torture me out of the blue at work one day, I called scheduled an appointment, they got me in same day. I had my tooth pulled, pain relieved, and back to work all within two hours. Truly saved me. Thank you.

No ‘pushy’ and pressure just options and room for me to make my own decisions about the care I wanted to access. The facility was open and airy with lots of light. Very clean and well situated. The procedures were light years ahead of what I had last encountered from check in to settling the bill. Very impressed with Afinia. Highly recommend..

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Afinia Dental for an emergency. They got me in the same day. They were extremely nice and so helpful. From the lady who checked me in, Kylee who took care of me and Dr. Voris. The dentist is a place that I am very anxious and they made me feel very comfortable! They are great! I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: I visited them for an infected tooth. The tooth was extracted however the infection was not treated with antibiotics as it should have been. The infection ended up settling in my left thigh, and I was in the hospital for 3 days and still cannot walk. Just beware and be sure to ask a lot of questions.

Fantastic experience: The people working there are knowledgeable, skilled, and polite. The dentist Douglas Voris does a great job working on my teeth. The dental hygienist employee Bailey is by far the best dental hygienist I've ever had work on my teeth in my life.

Fantastic experience: The dentist has always scared me. And I've never seemed to have a good time until I came here. The staff will talk you down and encourage IV sedation. There's no pressure to do things if you can't afford it. And that answer every single question I asked.

Negative experience: They was able to get me in fast. With my business and family life I have to work random times so this was great. Previous work was A+! This time the filling wasn’t done right. I can feel my nerve when brushing and have pain throughout the day. I can’t say I’ll go back. Now looking to have it fixed. The second star is for the amazing work they did on my previous visit and how fast they got me in.

Fantastic experience: After delaying going to the dentist for a couple of years I decided to try them out. Co-workers have been and said how amazing it was and how comfortable it was. Everyone I talked to made me feel at ease. They talked to me like my care was their only focus, although others were there. Dr. Voris sat down and discussed options with me, he showed me exactly what was going to happen. They answered all my questions, even the silly ones like “What does this do?”. I am appreciative and certain I am on the track to great dental health!

The doctor is very respectful and makes sure you understand everything he is doing and if you have any pain at all he will stop. Fantastic experience: First call was in September. Said they had a cancellation for the next day. Amazing. Got a call the next AM and said Dr was out for the day BUT....they could get me in on the first of the next month. Hummm. Click Bait stuff? Maybe. Suspicious anyway. Next filled out app on phone and that took time. Got there for appointment and was handed a clipboard. What's this?? I just filled that out on the app. "Sorry the app doesn't work." Okay not looking good for the day but I'm here so I comply. Today I fill out a another form (not this one) wanting feedback I hit enter at the end and it cycles and cycles and cycles...etc. Another dud on the software. Not sure what the thinking is on how your company looks when you can't keep the software working but it doesn't speak well up front. Now to the treatment. EXCELLENT. Everything explained and I was treated extremely well. My hygienist was Bailey and she was top notch. This service was a magnitude above my old dentist I had been going to for years. Long story short. I'm a patient now. Excellent service at this location but don't waste your time on their app or the other service asking for feedback unless they get fixed.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent 1st visit at Afinia Dental at their Eastgate location. My hygienist Bailey was very professional, courteous and explained what she was doing, showed me my X-rays. She gave me a very through cleaning. Dr. Voris spend time with me reviewing all the X-ray results and suggested a plan that we agreed upon. I feel the health of my teeth and mouth is a priority to them. This is my new dentist and I’m looking forward to their great care in the future. I was welcomed from the moment I walked in the door, and each employee I encountered was very kind and professional. I highly recommend their office.

Negative experience: Young staff that needs further training and to take consideration of others time. They set my cleaning up for Monday at 8am, only to find out they truly don’t open until 10. However their hours on their website say 8am is when they are set to open. I truly believed they dropped the ball and slid me in where they could. I chalked it up as an error and rescheduled my cleaning. Upon going back for my cleaning my tooth was chipped during the process and they told me they didn’t have time to fix my front tooth that I’d need to come back and have it done during the rest of my work. All of this was done in April and my treatment plan was set to be completed in July. This was just the tip of the iceberg. With my treatment plan being done in April and my work to be completed in July it caused complications with my insurance and Health Savings Account. I asked them if they could send an updated care plan dated within 30 days and was told “No”. I canceled my work with Afinia and will not be back. It’s a shame that after waiting 90 days I have to start the process all over again somewhere new because Kim didn’t want to take the time to Update a document and talked to me like I was a child. I feel most places in any industry want something dated within 30 days. I’ll save my $2,500 and find a place that will be more cooperative, and allow me to take advantage of my benefits.

Positive experience: The staff was fairly friendly. I wanted my teeth cleaned when I made the appointment. Period. They said I had to go through a new patient exam first. They came up with all these things I needed. I'm 65. Braces and crowns just aren't in my future. It was a sales job and pressure to commit was fairly strong. Not going back.

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if that was possible. I called this morning to see if I could get in for an emergency dental appointment. Kim, the person that answered the phone, was zero help whatsoever and totally rude. I explained my situation, her response was "Well can't you go back to that place?" when I told her I had an exam at another dentist 6 months ago. I explained that place doesn't do extractions. "Well what insurance do you have, we only accept HMOs." I explained I wasn't sure and asked if I gave her my insurance info could she tell me if it was accepted. "Well I could take a guess but I don't have all the insurance plans memorized" If you are a receptionist for any kind of office, kindly step up your people skills because Kim, you have NONE.

Fantastic experience: Hannah was my hygienist and she was so sweet , nice, polite and professional. I would have loved to started off as an adult having a hygienist like her she kept it honest but also gave me hope for the health of my teeth and gums. Also I could tell by her work that she takes pride in what she does. She made sure I was comfortable and gave me one of the most thoroughest cleaning I have ever had. Dr. Voris was absolutely exceptional with his explanation of what could be done and next steps. He listened to my concerns and let me know what options were available but kept it honest about what was absolutely necessary. I’m confident in my treatment plan and continuing to make this dental office my home.

Fantastic experience: I am blown away with the kindness and care from this place. Long story short, i had a back wisdom tooth that was causing issues, ive put it off for so long cause i have not had the best dentists in the past. So i was willing to pay in order to get good service. And they really made sure i was comfortable. Not to mention they were quick, and very gentle. I didnt feel a thing when they pulled it! They even had to tell me when they got it out cause i couldn’t tell ! Deff highly reccomend this place, especially if you are a scaredy cat like me ♥️

Fantastic experience: I was having excruciating tooth pain due to a fractured molar that needed to be pulled. My regular dentist doesn't do extractions and I called Afinia and they were able to get me in that afternoon and extract the tooth to relieve me of pain and infection. The staff was extremely kind and very professional. I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you for treating me like I had been a lifelong patient. I will be back.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency tooth extraction done on Tuesday, February 05, 2024. The dentist was polite, understanding to any and all of my issues and concerns. Once numb, he extracted my tooth in a matter of a minute or two. My experience was without issue and problems. I will be going back in March to have additional dental work done.

Negative experience: This place is very shady. They will rob you with smiling faces and karen kind of staff in the reception. I am okay with my hygienist and dentist. I went here with reference but still a very bad experience. I saw a customer fighting with them for a insane bill on his amount, and I felt the same when i saw my bill. They want you to come in often many times and charges you $200 for each visit after insurance. I got a quote to pay $4000 for a root canal process. They try to sell their equipment and useless mouthcare products for $300 I paid all my bills in the office and still received an extra bill to my mailing address.

Fantastic experience: As a child, I was treated terribly by a dentist, which caused me to develop a great fear of dentists. My dentist at Afinia did everything within his power to help me relax, so I could prepare myself mentally and physically before a procedure. I highly recommend him and his staff to anyone who has a fear of dentists, they are all wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Came in with a mouth injury. They did x-rays on his teeth to make sure none of them were lose and exam his busted gum. They got us in as soon as we came in and took very good care of my 7 yr old son. I highly recommend there office to my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I was in extreme pain and Dr. Voris took great care of my needs. From my first call to set up my appointment up to the day of my extraction I was well informed and treated with the utmost respect and care. I was given my estimate for care and after my extraction I was pleasantly surprised by how much it actually cost me. I was extremely nervous and they made sure to alleviate that problem. Before my extraction Dr. Voris let me know that I may have to have a wisdom tooth removed as well, He extracted it as well and I couldn’t even tell two teeth were extracted until I saw it! Fantastic experience: I broke a jaw tooth or molar 10 days ago. I called yesterday they got me in today. The tooth needed to be extracted and they were able to do it today. The people are very sweet and caring. This was my first time for this practice and I will be using them from now on.

Everyone here is super friendly, Dr Hayes and Hannah (I think that was her name I'm so sorry I forgot) were really professional and thorough with everything and were able to extract my wisdom teeth that have been bothering me for years in the first visit, I appreciated it and will be definitely coming back.

Negative experience: My 5 year Olds first time going was horrible. First my child is very sensitive to sounds and a buzzing noise was throughout the rooms. Second they were so concerned about getting x-rays and my child flipped out and wouldn't do it. By the time we got to cleaning she was uncontrollable and super upset. My child has not acted like this with previous dentist visits somewhere else, we had to change places due to insurance coverage. Just not a great first time visit. I understand x-rays are important, but not the first time visit. You get the child comfortable and make them like you. Not traumatized them.

Fantastic experience: Scheduled cleaning on 8/8/23. No more than a 5 minute wait. Bailey was an efficient and thorough hygienist. Dr. Voris exam was professional and encouraging. Highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best dentist I’ve ever visited. The staff was awesome and supportive and very caring of each of their patients. I was only there for an exam and ended up getting my entire procedure done the same day within 2 hours. They ensured I was 110% pain free the entire time and gave thorough instruction on post op care. I love these people and I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The dentist I was originally gonna see, their system wasn't working and I have a abscessed tooth that couldn't wait any longer to be taken care of. I did a walk in with Afinia expecting to schedule something in the next few days but they got me in same day and even offered to pull the tooth at the same time! When I was given the estimate which was a bit more than expected they help me with some financial things I could do to help pay for the procedure. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will recommend to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I had a toothache and it was almost the weekend so I called to get an appointment for Friday and they were able to get me in that day (Thursday)! Also thoroughly checked, took a film to determine if it washed out filling or leakage and ended up adjusting bite. It took care of the problem and staff and Dr were very kind and professional. 2 thumbs up!!

Fantastic experience: From the 1st phone call to the time I left my 1st appointment I knew I found my forever dentist !! The entire team was amazing!! You would be silly to consider going anywhere else in the city! I had a very stressful painful situation and they brought me in a knew exactly what to do and developed a plan of attack with ME keeping me informed and involved the entire time . There was no guess work. I have been in other chairs thatI had no clue what was next .and as you know when it comes to your teeth and something that could be potentially very painful that's not a situation anyone wants to be in! Fantastic experience: I will start off by saying i am petrified of the dentist. I waited far too long. I was in tremendous pain. Afinia was kind of my last resort and saving grace. They got me in same day and im pretty sure stayed late. This is the next day after intial visit and procedure. So i will update later as well. I have never felt so welcome and comforted in a medical office as i did there. MacKenzie was my hygenist and she was so empathetic and mind. Thr dentist did not question my decision and in fact was supportive of whatever i decided. The financial ladies (im sorry i cannot remember their name) were so unbelievably sweet and gentle. I have had some horrid dental experiences and this felt above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: I had a major dental emergency, was up all night, swollen face and massive pain. Called Afinia and was able to get me in asap even being a brand new patient. They were super friendly and very professional. They took xrays and pulled the problem tooth out for me right there and then and it didn't cost me an arm and leg like I've been quoted at other dental places! Will definitely be going back for future dental work.

Fantastic experience: My tooth broke last night and when I called Afinia first thing this morning, they were able to get me in the same day even though I had never been there before. Every single person from the receptionist to the dentist himself to the tech were so nice. I will be going back!

Fantastic experience: Afinia Dental in Eastgate took such good care of my 89 year old mother. The whole staff was so patient and kind with her. They did exactly what she asked them to do. I would recommend them to anyone and will be changing dentists myself to this practice

Fantastic experience: Went in for a dental cleaning today. Since this was my second time at this location, plenty of X-rays were taken. I was able to get the cleaning done and went over our plan for a cleaner fresher smile thanks to Hannah. Everything was super easy and everyone made you feel welcomed. Fantastic experience: The only dentist I've been to that took into consideration how scared of the dentist I am. Doctor haze is amazing and is so gentle when removing teeth. I had both my top wisdom teeth taken out the same day because of the pain and bleeding from the erupted wisdomtooth. Best place I've been and will stay as a patient.
