Negative experience: My boyfriend has been going to aspen for a few visits now for some messed up teeth. I went with him on one appointment since it was a tooth extraction and immediately wanted to switch dentistry’s. The cabinets were gross and caked in what looked like toothpaste which would take 30 seconds to clean with a sanitizing wipe. He was getting 4 teeth extracted and needed to be numbed up pretty good. The dentist was really annoyed when he was visibly in pain and required more numbing. He literally said “we will just have to send ya home if we can’t numb you”. He got no instructions on how to clean his mouth or dentures. No instruction on how to take them out or put them in. I am in nursing school and work with denture patients as a PCA so thankfully I was able to show him. The dentist needs a little bit of an attitude check, the place needs clean and they need to work on their education process. He has already paid for future work so he will be going back again and I hope it is a better experience. The dental hygienist or assistant was nice but seemed a little timid on actually assisiting. At one point he was literally aspirating on blood and I had to poke her and ask for suction. Not pleased with this place, seemed very disorganized:/

Fantastic experience: I had my dentures relined at Aspen and had a great experience. I can wear my dentures all day. Before, I was having issues with my lower dentures and could only wear them when I go outside my home. Now I can wear them all day. Thank you so much.

Negative experience: This place is a cash grab.. told me I needed a 1000.00 cleaning.. I have always had my teeth cleaned by one of the best Dentist in Eastgate. They are very wrong.. they just want your cash.. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPEL!!! UPSELLS AND CASH GRAB!!! Then refused to clean my teeth until I payed the 1000.00

Negative experience: This dentist recommended pulling five of my teeth, including two that I actually needed to eat properly. I went to another dentist and was able to save three of those teeth. I would not recommend this office.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would this place sucked will tell everyone I know never go here they didnt care. Didnt care that I was freaking out and in pain. Was told my insurance was good there was not so I had to pay to even be seen to be told it'll cost a arm and leg to even get seen they didnt do anything for me for the pain. I ended up going to a totally different dentist right after. I sat in the parking lot making calls until I found someone. They gave me ibuprofen and some antibiotics at this other dentist and actually cared. They got me in last minute and they dont take emergencies but when I told them what dentist did this they said come on over and we'll see you. 0 stars sucky place! Way overpriced!!!

Negative experience: Not a reliable option for routine dental care. Scheduled a cleaning January 2025 and the services provided were full mouth x-rays/additional imaging. Which is fine but no same-day cleaning. Next available cleaning that worked for my schedule was April, which was cancelled by Aspen 2 days prior. I rescheduled for December which was also cancelled morning of. Very frustrating experience overall feeling that my simple request for a dental cleaning cannot be met

Negative experience: I had an appointment for a cleaning and they wanted to charge me $200. However, my insurance covered it 100 0/0. So, I left without a cleaning. My insurance company called them and confirmed it was covered 100 0/0 and that they did not have my insurance info in their records. This was my second appointment. I still have not heard anything back from the dentist.

Negative experience: A total scam,I went in got X-ray and checked out by a girl then a dentist every thing looked great just looking for a cleaning so they set it up took forever to get in then some girl tells me that I need some special cleaning that's going to costs 2000 dollars after a dentist check me out total BS total scam run far away from this place.

Negative experience: Aspen Dental Eastgate Ohio. Called made appointment verified they took Dmo dental insurance. Got X-rays, dentist looked at my teeth, thought I was getting cleaning, nope this was just a consultation? Was never mentioned when scheduling. Two employees took me into office and wanted to go over pricing, and explained I was OUT OF NETWORK!!! What a waste of gas and my time will not be back

Negative experience: Went there for a broken tooth was told it would be fixed that day as they provide emergency treatment. And walked out with $2k estimate and still didn’t fix my tooth. But charged my insurance for services I didn’t get. They wanted to take 500 (exaggerated) X-rays all I was in there for was a broken tooth I don’t want any other services. One in south lebanon was so much better but they didn’t have any openings at the time. Don’t waste your money. Thankfully I am getting a second opinion

Negative experience: I scheduled my appt for 12 pm today, a Friday. I explained that I may arrive late bc of my work schedule. I adjusted my start time for 6 am & took unpaid time off for the remainder of the day to arrive within that window. The scheduler told me it was fine bc there was a 15 minute window, arrive before 12:15 & i’ll be seen. I am a self pay pt with cash in hand for my services (5k CASH on me). I flew to my appt the moment I clocked out, arrived at 12:12 after starting my workday at 6 am so I could get there before 12:15 to be told by Bee at front desk the policy is a 5 minute window & I’d have to reschedule. I explained the excruciating pain I am in & the 15 minute window I was told about prior. She cared ONLY that I was 7 mins past the 5 minute window & I was told wrong. She said walk in wasn’t an option today bc of being booked & they’re leaving at 1. Plus I’d have to arrive more than 1 hr before closing for walk in. Bee had 0 compassion for my misery with tooth pain nor the fact that someone told me I had a 15 minute window. Needless to say, I will be taking my 5k to a more compassionate dental practice. I was referred by 2 ppl who spent tens of thousands there, one of which HAD plans to have more extensive work done in the near future. I told her I was prepared to pay cash today just to be seen for a possible antibiotic & future treatment plan. I even showed her the cash I had to pay for services. She just said again you’re 7 mins past the 5 minute window so you have to reschedule. I told her I wouldn’t be rescheduling at Aspen & she said nothing, turned her head & acted like she was busy, so I left. I don’t expect any special treatment, but compassion would be nice. If it was not an appt bc I am in horrible pain I would’ve just rescheduled.

Positive experience: Absolutely wonderful staff. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. Would have been a 5 star rating if the prices were more reasonable. However, they do offer multiple options with assistance in payment plans and are very flexible in scheduling. Thank you to the Eastgate, Ohio office staff for making my wife's experience an easy and enjoyable event.
Negative experience: This is the most unprofessional, disorganized dental office I have ever experienced. I went in March and established an ongoing plan for periodontal treatment even opening a line of credit with the understanding they could help. They were quick to schedule and perform my first two (most expensive) treatments and complete and extraction with a bridge (also expensive). Since that time they have cancelled appointments with no notice and will not make another appointment unless I come into the office and make a payment. Again, I opened a line of credit for these procedures. It has been months since I have been seen for any additional periodontal work needed. At this point, the initial treatments are probably worthless with no maintenance. My daughter was scheduled for a cleaning in March and as of today rescheduled for a 3rd time until December for a cleaning. My advice, please wait the 6 months somewhere else. Maybe you can actually be seen there.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff. They managed to get me in next day to rid my mouth of the excruciating pain. Dr Mcqueen is the real deal I'm telling you people .. after he very carefully administered the novacaine and whatnot.. all he did was flex real big and my molar just hopped righ out of my mouth and ran away... Easiest extraction ever!!!!

Positive experience: Mostly went very well for my first visit. We did several X-rays, a gum exam and dental exam. All of those steps went very well. Everyone who I met during the visit was very nice and treated me very well. They also helped me to relax after explaining my dental fears. The only thing that could have gone better was that they need to do better with patient estimates. I am being quoted nearly $2,000 for some services not being covered plus for the patient responsibility on the covered services. After I got home I pulled up the Summary Plan Description for my dental plan and the price I was quoted is not correct. My insurance covers all services being requested. The crown replacement is covered at 60%, a few small services covered at 90% and all cleaning at 100%. I was being quoted over $1200 more than I should have to pay. The associate I met with was very nice but I don’t understand why the benefits are not aligned. Will call the office tomorrow and see if the quote changes. I will add that while in the waiting room, several other patients were arguing over the incorrect amounts on the estimate they received.

Negative experience: I had two fillings fall out and they didnt even try to get me in sooner to fix them considering they were the ones that did them and on top of that I went there twice asking in advance before the appointments if any money would be due they day of the appointment and then being told no insurance is covering it and then going to your appointment the day of to be told you owe money out of pocket is super inconvenient i would not recommend this dentistry. I also was told I may need a possible root canal and when told them I didnt want to go thar route if possible i felt pressured as to why i should just get the root canal instead of feeling valued and heard of my concerns and reasons behind not wanting to get one. Also when stating what all I was wanting to get looked at and fixed I almost felt the dentist was rude that I needed to take one thing at a time when I was just over all excited about wanting to make progress to my over all smile. Also depending on who you talk to on the phone some of them are just rude.

Negative experience: I would recommend everyone to go other place. Poor quality. I went there to fix my teeth from chipped. I booked as emergency appointment, when I get there they told me today no dentist to fix but will make another appointment next 2 days. I understand I filled the chipped tooth temporary but after done filling, I feel there is a hole in my fixed teeth after 2 weeks and feel sensitive. I went back there to tell them about it, dentist said to me it look fine and I back home. After that 2 weeks later the same teeth finally cracked. I understand that it’s temporary but 4 weeks is too fast for this. I’m from Thailand and I can say dentists in Thailand done much better job even it’s temporary. I won’t recommend and I won’t go back again.

Negative experience: *I feel robbed by Aspen dental *Inconsistent services *terrible cleanings *lack of professionalism Went in for my tooth whitening appointment today. Interrupted twice by staff. The first interruption was them claiming to need paid (even though they collect up front payments) my payment I made was 266.00 I have insurance that covered the other half of an almost 600.00 appointment. After they went to collect the information that my appointment for the whitening was paid for 100% (which was every last dollar in my account). In which they convinced me they couldn’t clean my teeth all the way without this added appointment that my teeth needed whitening. So I paid it. The second time the interruption of my paid appointment today a different lady comes in and says my previous filling appointment (which my teeth were barely clean). Very unsatisfied with the cleaning! The cleaning did not match the level of any other dentist I’ve been to. So now, she verbally asked me to pay 176.00 today to continue with my already draining whitening appointment (drained every dollar I had) to finish cleaning my teeth from the previous job I paid for with insurance and my money. I told her that I won’t be paying this before my appointment that I fully paid for. As I’d already given them the payment for both appointments before the appointment. They won’t even work on you without the payment first! So as she was asking me to get up and come pay again during my appointment in order to continue services. Tell me this how do they collect payments before the work is even started; then pull you out of said appointments and ask you to pay again, after you already paid to sit in that chair. She said there’s no way they can do the work on me today. And refused me service completely as I was recording the entire time. I was livid! I am appalled at the lack of professionalism. I am disappointed that aspen is taking advantage of people like this. I will be letting everyone know that I can that they robbed me today. And to NEVER do business with these fools. They tried charging my husband 3500.00 for a deep cleaning with insurance. Quadrants are 250.00. I should have known then how dishonest Aspen dental is.I am a christian woman and this is wrong. To add to all this, When I needed to confirm both appointments the text confirmation doesn’t work and also the AI robot to call the office to confirm doesn’t work either. But you know what does work? Their payment system and taking your money. You just will be denied your appointment and met with a serious disregard after they get your money. You’ll be lucky to even confirm the appointment with their systems.They need investigated and I’ll be calling an attorney. What a dishonest place. I am disappointed Aspen dental. You should be ashamed!
Negative experience: My daughter went to Aspen Dental in Eastgate. I took her for her 1st appointment. We waited for over an hour to see the dentist post x-rays. We ended up leaving because we had other appointments that day. Came back three days later, and we had to wait about 45-50 mins for the dentist AGAIN. Try to reschedule her actual cleaning due to travel, and my options were the next morning or in February. My husband started going to Aspen Dental, Newport. 1st appointment is NOT a cleaning, it is an x-ray + talk to dentist. Then, come back for the cleaning. This is a hassle since life is so busy, and they add an extra appointment to come back. My husband went to his first cleaning. Everything went well until he needed to make his next appointment. They did NOT have any availability until late 2026... so his six-month cleaning was not possible until 18 months later!!!!!!!! Anyway, it doesn't matter which office you visit; you will not get a decent appointment date, unlike in any other dentist's office. They lost three patients.

Fantastic experience: This morning was my first visit to an Aspen Dental. I had broken a crown and was pleased with the availability of appointments. Multiple x-rays were provided for no charge. Everyone was pleasant and I received thorough estimates for Dr. B's treatment recommendations. This will be my new dentist office, for sure.

Fantastic experience: So far my experience at Aspen dental has been great. This is the first time I’ve ever been to get anything done when it comes to my teeth other than getting one tooth pulled about five or seven years ago and they work with you they make payment arrangements if you don’t have insurance so that’s great. I have insurance but not for everything that I need done so I give them a five star

Fantastic experience: First, they got me in brand new patient in 5 days, when other places put me on a impossible waiting list. They never seemed to judge me for my messed up teeth or only having 1 cleaning in my entire life and being to the dentist twice. They listened to everything I wanted and helped me. They also were very kind and patient to my toddler I had with me. They'll be my regular dentist I will be going to from now on!

Positive experience: So apparently to have All my teeth removed at least under Sedation, be put to sleep will cost me $ 18,000 . Is that Right? Medicaid is awful I need better insurance. Looks like imma need antibiotics for long time until I find a cheaper place to have my teeth removed. Severe anxiety and feat teeth anything at dentist I need help. I don't have 20 grand to spend on having teeth pulled.
Negative experience: I would give negative stars if I could. DIRTY AND SCAMMY! To start the eastgate office is dirty, the machines had visible chipping paint and rust. The first thing they do is bring a form in and scare you into getting an out of pocket $40 “oral cancer screening” once you sign all they did was shine a flashlight in my mouth for 3 seconds and said to me “we never find anything”… after the appointment, taken to a back room where they talk you into and tell you your treatment plan and costs BEFORE checking with insurance and they charge your account BEFORE any appointments can be made. I ended up needing to cancel said appointments MONTHS, in advance and they took over 6 weeks to refund THOUSANDS of dollars to my account. I now still have to pay the interest fee on the original amount because the billing cycle already came and past, still fighting fraudulent charges. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, DO NOT GO TO ASPEN.

Negative experience: So I was told they had a lab to fix futures on site and I could bring mine in to replace a tooth that came off ,WELLL they didn't tell me that you have to have a full exam xrays and all because I was never a patient there , thats a get money from the insurance thing cause I had absolutely % nothing wrong with my mouth I simply wanted my denture fixed , so I left . That's the stupidest thing I've ever herd in my life like why would I need a dental exam to have a tooth put back on my denture. So just so you know if your not a patient at eastgate Aspen dental dont take your dentures there to be repaired cause they will want to do a dental exam . Stupid!

Negative experience: I was not pleased. Don't even deserve one star. The doctor has gotten the material for making impressions all over my top denture, and it won't come off, so now it feels like my teeth are dirty all the time. He had the material caked in mouth, and didn't even offer to get any off, I had to ask for a paper towel.The liner that he put in, is very uncomfortable, my denture doesn't feel right, the powder I use to keep my denture in place, doesn't want to work like before, it only lasts for a few hours, and then my denture is all over the place. I can't keep it up without some kind of adhesive. I'm sorry I told them I needed a new liner, the one I had was getting real thin in the middle, but the doctor made it just as thin if not thinner. He did tighten up my bottom partial. And that feels better. No

Fantastic experience: Great staff! I had several teeth removed, and a partial denture made here. They were very sensitive about how young and nervous I was to get dentures. The staff was great with my gender identity as well, as I’m a transgender person. Highly recommend this location and my dentures look AMAZING.

Negative experience: Dont waste your time. Called and scheduled an appointment with a live person. Arrived 30 mins before my appointment and there was a sign they were on lunch. Signed in. Only to be called up to the desk at my exact appointment time and told that my appointment had been cancelled because I didn't "verbally confirm". I spoke to human to make the appointment. How much more verbal does it get!? So angry.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental office I have ever been to! Amazing staff. They are extremely understanding when it comes to dental fears and they have top of the line equipment to make sure everything is done perfectly! They also have great payment plans that way you don't have to worry about paying up front. I've already had a cleaning and root canal with them and I have no complaints at all!

Negative experience: The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. It was easy to get an appointment. I never liked going to the dentist but they made me feel comfortable. *** Update **** I am very disappointed after buying what was supposed to be the best denture with the best warranty today two teeth fell out. I went into the office the lady at the front desk was very unapologetic. I was told they couldn’t even work on them until next Thursday. What did I expect they only had one tech and everyone else would run behind. I left them and walked out in tears. Updated experience**** I have left a message yesterday to find out if my denture was completed as promised. I have not received a call back. I left another message. I think it is pretty sad that I was not able to have it repaired sooner because they didn’t want to delay anyone else. I get that but now mine is not finished when I was promised.

Positive experience: Employees were very kind. Explained things completely both before,during and after procedures. Doctor was cut and dried. Not very interested. Wait was extreemly long both in the waiting room and the exam room. No dentures in one day as advertised and "budget" dentures which only refer to a full upper plate which is not stated nor advertised as such. Even though the x- ray was stated as free the cost of the bottom partial was over $1000.00.
Negative experience: Broke upper denture plate Sun. Looked online for a fast replacement. Aspen dental said 24 hr. Dentures. Called what I thought was Eastgate asking for an appointment. She informed me that Eastgate would be next Monday. She said they had an office in Oakley that had a 9:30 available. I arrived at 9:15 reception was great filled out all new patient forms. Called back assistant asked questions normal routine. Dentist came and told me I would have to schedule an appointment?? I asked if I could get things started like impressions and was told it would take 3 hours to get impressions?? He also said 3 weeks to get new dentures?? He said to the assistant that we shouldn’t take walk-in’s. I said I’m going to need another opinion. The next day I went to Affordable Dentures and they did impressions in 30 min. Repaired my plate until new teeth come in approximately 1week. I was not going to do a review even though I was very disappointed but now aspen dental is sending me text stating I missed my appointment. I did not miss my appointment the office must be doing something wrong. I will beg anyone I know not to go to Aspen Dental.

Positive experience: Don't even think you are going to get your dentures relined, you can only get new ones and they are expensive. And after you get your dentures and have problems with them, you have to wait until you can get an appointment, which may be a couple weeks out.

Positive experience: Long post.. hopes to improving their process and treating patients the same... yes I expressed this to them but got feedback. Making the appointment.... I was a new patient and called to make an appointment for a cleaning for myself and my spouse knowing that when you are a new patient at most dental offices you must have a 14 view (xrays) and most dental insurance only allow this every 5 years which I was eligible in February which is why I made the appointment at the end of December. Fast forward to the day before my appointment they called to confirm and at the time to tell me this is only for the xrays and the to exam our teeth and they would schedule the cleaning afterwards. Why was this not told to me in December when I stated I am making a new patient cleaning appointment? I had the choice then to say no and find another dentist but it would now be another 2-3 month wait for a dentist appointment for new patients somewhere else so I kept it. The visit... We get there and they take me back first for xrays and then put me in the room. 10 mins later a man walks in and introduced himself and said, I'll be looking at your xrays and teeth. Which he did. Then he leaves and then because we are husband and wife they bring my husband in my room and tell me to please let him sit in the chair to be seen. What happens next is where another concern I have is for treating the patients the same. A woman walks in introduces herself as the hygienist and that she's going to be looking at his teeth and measuring his gums. I look at her confused cause that was not done to me. Once she was done I let her know that this was not done for me and she simply replied, I had time to look at his teeth and we don't always have that. I'll take a look at yours when you schedule your cleaning. Why is that? Should this have been part of the exam of teeth for each patient? So then the dentist comes in and does the same that he did for me for my spouse. Now to schedule the cleaning which is why I made the appointment in the first place. They ask me what day and time and I said whatever is open as it has been 7 months already since the last cleaning.... she comes back with a day and time AT THE END OF MAY!!! Are you kidding me? They did move somethings around and got it moved to end of April but here is my suggest moving forward. When a patient calls for a new appointment tell them they WILL NOT BE GETTING A CLEANING and if possible pre schedule the cleaning either the same day or shortly after not months later. Most people get their teeth cleaned every 6 months and if they are new patients it is at that 6 month mark. As for care it should be the same for each new patient not if you have time. Negative experience: My mom was having a dental emergency and was in severe pain. Appointment was at 3:30 pm and we arrived at 3:44pm (there is a 15 minute grace period). My mom is blind and a veteran so it does take longer getting places sometimes. The receptionist was VERY rude and wouldn't allow anyone to talk and had no idea what was going on with my mother. I tried to explain that we made it within the 15 minutes and she wouldn't let me speak or listen to anything. Stating if we don't hear from you we fill the space even though I confirmed I was coming by email and call the day prior. Will not return to this location and hope they get a receptionist with any people skills.

Fantastic experience: I called Aspen see if they accepted my insurance and make an appointment to have my dentures relined and repair a missing tooth. They scheduled me that very same day for the appointment. Very pleased with their quick action in giving me a quote for the cost of the realign and repair.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience at the Eastgate office... I am one of those people that dread going to the dentist. I have major panic attacks due to previous horrible experiences ..Example: Toxic root canals, the tooth area not being numb enough and then the dentist starts drilling the tooth...I have to sedate myself before dentist appointment The staff at the Eastgate Aspen Dental office were amazing and made me feel calm and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: They was very nice and pleasant and direct but once it comes to how much it cost to pull three wisdoms teeth it was $1,000 I think that's a little bit much to pay to get wisdom teeth pulled but all in all I love them I would definitely go back or have some of my friends to go there

Positive experience: Took almost 2 hours for the x rays and exam but they were very thorough and even did a 3-D scan of my mouth… I called at about 6:30pm on a Monday and had a 7am appointment the next day. They were very helpful as far as showing me the different pricing options I had and were able to get me in in a week and a half later to get a tooth pulled.

Positive experience: I had a fill in doctor and he was fantastic. I had a hole in my tooth, and they got me right in and he did all I needed in one setting. I don’t feel like he exaggerated my treatment plan, he was very gentle with the shots and made me not fear the dentist anymore. My treatment plan was very affordable and everyone was very nice. After my fillings, I was prepared to be annoyed with my bite but you can’t even tell! Feels like my normal bite!
