Fantastic experience: I have never had a dentist that spent so much time with me and explained everything with so much detail. The entire staff were friendly and knowledgeable. There hygienist took her time and made sure you were comfortable through the whole process.

If he has any doubt he can’t help you he’ll referral you to someone he trust . My case was somewhat complicated so he gave me an option . I appreciated this . Fantastic experience: I don't write many reviews.. but these folks deserve one. My entire family goes here. I was the last to start going because I've had massive anxiety around going to the dentist. I used to dread the appointment weeks out and it was all I could think about. I put it off as long as I could. Going to see dr. thomas and the crew felt more like I was going to get help from family. No joke. I actually enjoy hanging out with them. They are real people and they are damn good at what they do. It's a rare combo and is the reason they have the ratings that they do. Couldn't recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this office is so nice, from the ladies at the front desk, the hygienists & Dr. Thomas. They all help put you at ease. Due to a not so nice childhood dentist, I have serious dental anxiety but they have helped me to overcome my fears. They have a very modern office & offer a variety of services, including an adorable pup who will comfort (and distract) you while you’re there. Let me talk about my hygienist for a moment. Jazzy is the best, she is gentle & thorough & she will chat with you while she works, which really helps if you are a little nervous. They have options for people without insurance too that make things a little easier.

Fantastic experience: Just lost a cap on a tooth and saw this practice next to my neighborhood. Just walked in and was brought right in! Dr Ryan and his team are amazing. Friendly, helpfull, knowledgeable and quick. Very good experience. I have already booked my annual cleaning next month. Go see them!

Fantastic experience: If you’re afraid of the dentist, this is a great place. The dentist listens, is gentle, and makes you feel at ease. The whole office is calm and reassuring, and they do great work. They put certain teeth on watch to monitor instead of rushing into treatment, explain everything clearly, and only treat what truly needs it. Victoria, the hygienist I saw, was especially gentle and patient. TVs help distract you if you’re nervous. I was nervous about my first crown, but it was smooth and uneventful—one year later, still no issues.

Fantastic experience: Great honest dentist , I had previously been told by another office that I would need a crown but Dr Thomas said a good filling would do and he was right! Great staff ..Jazzy the hygenist is very personable and makes you feel relaxed. The other dental assistant also helped distract me while getting a filling and it worked :). Fantastic experience: They use an ultrasonic cleaner and it's the first time I don't need pain killer numbing injections, done twice no problems! Also they don't force you to comes every 3 months

Fantastic experience: Sonya did a great job Cleaning my teeth, very gentle and thorough and very knowledgeable. Doctor ryan thomas was great. He told me how to read an X-ray and told me what to look out for and then the pictures they also take of your mouth, they tell you everything in detail of things that you might have to worry about or not. Everyone in the office also was super nice and friendly. If you have no insurance, they have a great deal for $299 for 1 year, all cleanings and x rays. If you're looking for a great dentist, this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to go to this dentist by my neighbor who is a pediatric dentist in the area. The overall experience is always amazing. They get me in on time, take X-rays, scrape and polish my teeth, consult with me about concerns or next steps, and schedule my next visit all in about 45 minutes. My time is important to me and I never feel like I am wasting it sitting in a waiting room. The staff are all personable and friendly. I have recommended this dental office to colleagues and friends, and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: I am in from out of state, with a dental emergency. My temporary crown broke and disintegrated on Christmas Day. I am extremely grateful to San Tan Family Dentistry for getting me in and making a new temporary crown for me. Best experience with the staff and dentist. Thank you so very much!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to San Tan Family dentistry for the last year or two and it has been wonderful, everyone there is very nice, and I really like that Dr. Thomas explains things in a way that is easy to understand.

Negative experience: Absolutely do not go to San Tan Dentistry. Their office is careless, unprofessional, and shows zero respect for patient privacy. My private account information was shared with someone without my consent, a clear HIPAA violation. They also failed to notify me of a $600 balance from my deep cleaning on November 5th i only found out over a month later, completely blindsided. Communication is terrible, billing is sloppy, and their staff seems more interested in excuses than in protecting patients. I expected professionalism and privacy, and instead got negligence and disregard for the rules. If you care about your privacy, your time, and being treated with respect, stay far away from this office

Fantastic experience: Today was my first check up with San Tan Family Dentistry. I was long overdue for a cleaning and check up. The first appointment was so thorough. Jazie the hygienist was so amazingly kind. She was so good about checking to see if I was ok. She took her time and just had a wonderful demeanor to her. I actually scheduled for her to be my hygienist next visit. Dr. Thomas was equally wonderful. He really is so good about showing your teeth on the screen and really wanting to educate you about them. He was incredibly complimentary about my teeth and never made me feel shamed about being so overdue for dental care. What also stood out to me was he didn’t pressure me towards any unnecessary procedures. I may need a crown due to a possible hairline crack, but he said there wasn’t a huge concern right now, and proceeded to tell me that it is my choice. I commended him for that. He said he’s a no pressure dentist and will recommend when there are substantial problems. He was super personable and friendly, I felt very comfortable. They also presented a quote for the crown so I know how much it would be if I decide to go through with it. I appreciate that transparency. I am so glad I found my new dentist.

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist I had was so nice and kind. Her name is Jazzie and I highly recommend her. I had her again for my cleaning and she constantly checks in with me. Her and the doctor educated me on my teeth, what would need to be worked on, etc. I went in with a lot of anxiousness because I've had terrible experiences at other dentists and I left with a lot of ease. Thank you I will be returning.

Fantastic experience: I recently got my wisdom teeth out and had been using a prescription mouthwash without realizing that it was causing teeth staining. I noticed last night & was freaking out, I called this morning and they were able to get me in same day!! The staff was so amazing and friendly and the doctor was very thorough and answered all of my questions. A big thank you to my dental hygienist, Jiazi!! She did such a great job and put me at ease. Not to mention she got everything off, which I didn’t think would be possible in one session. She was extremely thorough and sweet. I will definitely be back for my next cleaning

I haven’t been to the dentist in years because I was told by another local dentist how I need so much work done before they even considered helping me with my main dental concerns. I avoided the dentist for years. I had a cap fall off and knew it was time to find a dentist I be comfortable with after living in San Tan for 6 years. I did my research and reached out online to Dr.Thomas’s office. I was vulnerable in my email and mention all my concerns. I went in two weeks ago and did a cleaning , Met with Dr. Thomas and talked my 1st treatment case. Mackenzie, the dental assistant was kind came and introduce herself because she heard my daughter had her name, My hygienist(Forgot Hername,so sorry) was sweet she mad me feel comfortable, listen to my concerns. Marsha was great going over my insurance and helping me with my treatment plan. They are here to help and only do work that is necessary to your wishes. I came back today got a crown, voiced concerns and Dr.Thomas worked with what I felt Confortable in doing. Made my crowns in house, compliments, Ruby the dog played with my son. I asked for referrals where in the past I was told we can’t do that untill you do X,Y and Z So if you read this whole post and HATE going to the dentist. I truly believe give this Dental Office a try. I’m a believer if it nots good for me it’s not for my kids and I will guarantee you will bring the whole family. Fantastic experience: *******I am scared of the dentist**** I have had bad experience of not being listen to*** and being over billed. My friend referred me to Thomas since I am new to the area. She loves this place and I thought I would give it a shot. I was told in October that I needed a deep cleaning, redo some fillings, a crown and possible a root canal. Since calling I had a good impress about this place. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. They accepted the X-rays that I emailed in. They were clear and really good quality so they were able to use them. Veronica, the hygienist, was super sweet. She checked in on me often. It was really nice over her to go over things and talk about any concerns before the dentist came in. Didn't need a deep cleaning. Thomas, the dentist, is amazing. He listened to me and also explained what's going on with my teeth . He is referring me to some one who does root canals to see if I will need it. Be sides that, my teeth are great!!! Mindy, the assistant, put on fluoride and walked me out. She expected that I had to wait to drink hot beverages. They did explained that fluoride wasn't covered and I will need to pay out of pocket. I can't believe that I am actually looking forward to going back in June.

Fantastic experience: Soooo a Dentist is most people’s least favorite visit. I always LOVED going until I went to a greedy dental office and literally HATED going, and ended up not going for 2 years () I knew I needed to go back and decided to try San Tan Family Dentistry and OMG we have found a dentist for our little family! The staff is incredible, the Dentist - seriously the kindest most loving dentist I’ve ever met in my life, and the icing on the cake they have a lil dog named Ruby who is soooo sweet! My 9year old daughter asked how old she had to be to come to this office … so we will likely switch her because she just felt so great here.

Jhazi had such a calming presence and was thorough with my cleaning. Dr Thomas is super friendly, reasonable and helped me understand my teeth in simple terms. They never tried to “sell” me on a bunch of unnecessary procedures which I appreciated more than they know. The office is beautiful and having a tv during the cleaning was nice to keep my mind at ease too. I’m looking forward to my next cleaning which I never thought I’d say!

Fantastic experience: The from the front desk, being very personable and very friendly and helping with Insurance to the hygienist and how well she explained everything on the cleanings and what not and took her time and it was very detailed to Dr. Thomas was excellent also and explaining things and getting a treatment plan laid out and very plain spoken no high-pressure kind of thing just here’s what you need really need done and I appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: I love these ladies and the Dr. T as well. They ooze positivity and friendliness. Thier office is new and clean with very modern equipment. The Dr. T is so awesome, he spent about 30 minutes with me explaining explaining my exrays, the symbiotic relationship between teeth and over all health and more. He loves to educate his patients if you want to learn. What a great guy and fantastic staff. If you don't come here, you must a learning disability, however, they take care of people too.

Fantastic experience: I gag easily due to having a condition called EOE… which is why I have avoided the dentist for over 2 years since moving here from Oregon. I was hesitant to go today as other dentists have horrible “bedside manner” and raise my stress level which makes me gag easier.. not this dentist. Ryan Thomas and his team naturally do an excellent job at providing a welcoming environment.. even the kid sitting next to me in the waiting room was happy to be there. His team is truly pleasant and explain everything and anything related to your smile. I am proud to say I didn’t gag and the team was patient with me as they made me laugh along the way with their amazing sense of humor. Fantastic experience: I am that person that is afraid of the dentist. I have had some really bad reactions just the thought of going to the dentist. Dr Thomas and his staff are so friendly and make you feel bery comfortable. I did not have to hold my hand that much. I have never had such a thorough dental exam. I chipped a tooth; got into see Dr Thomas and his staff the very next day! Even though I am in need of a crown, his honesty and integrity are second to none….absolutely recommend! Everyone, including the wonderful “dental support dog” Ruby made me feel so at home and cared for.
