We switched here because i wasn’t happy with the service at the last dentist my kids were going to and it was truly a breath of fresh air and I’m so happy we did

Had to deduct a star due to the sadness my daughter experienced when she realized there were no more tokens at the end of the visit anymore.

Negative experience: The dentist are great- HOWEVER they are extremely hard to get ahold of. The scheduling department is outsourced so you won't reach the dentist place directly and they were extremely rude and cancelled my appointment because I asked to speak to someone else. Will not be returning solely on their scheduling department. They did not know what I needed and even laughed at me on the phone (San was the employee I spoke with).

Fantastic experience: Everyone was friendly! It was my son’s first appointment and they were gentle so that he wouldn’t be afraid. The dentist also was super friendly and answered my questions.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this office more! My daughter is autistic and her last dentist wanted to use restraints on her for exams, but after several visits here she is comfortable and completely compliant. I didn’t know if this day would come. EVERYONE we’ve come into contact with here has been kind, caring, and genuinely compassionate. We drive 30 plus minutes to come here but I’d honestly drive 3 times that. If you have a special needs child this is the place for care.

The assistant and doctor were so amazing by answering all my answers, used my own toothpaste I use on my toddler and were just so kind too that my son being his 1st dental visit warmed up and felt comfortable with them. Negative experience: My daughter got fillings last year. We paid our co pay at the visit. Just got a collection letter for $55 dollars. No one sent me a bill or called saying I still had a balance. Im a dental assistant have been for 14 years I know how billing works, would have been nice If somebody contacted me. Plus the female Dr was not very nice, I expressed concern on a aggressive treatment plan in a different area. She had already got my 6 year old numb on the top teeth, basically told me if I didn't agree to her plan on the lower teeth then she wasn't doing treatment (treatment she already stuck a needle and numbed my daughter for) Horrible would not recommend.

Negative experience: 1 pm appointment got in and had my son seated first, had everything taken care of there was two other family that came in with two children each family had her x-rays done was told to be seated and wait for the dentist, another assistance her name was McKenna finished her group went and got the dentist and had the her patients that were after my son and the next patient scheduled to go before my son instead of an apology for me or fixing the mistake right then and there they apologize to the other assistant to bunch but no apologies to my son or I.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but positive things to say about Children’s Ironwood Dentistry. My girls have been patients for years and I would recommend them to everyone. They are always so great with my both of my neurodivergent kiddos. So patient, kind, and caring. My oldest daughter suffers with high anxiety amongst other disorders. They really take the time to explain step by step everything to her so she is comfortable. I love the staff and dentist and their attentiveness. McKenna is a one of a kind soul who has bonded with my girls and gone above and beyond. My girls and I adore her so much. We’re so grateful and blessed to have found such an amazing dentistry on so many levels. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Negative experience: They deleted my last review, I guess they can’t handle the truth. We have dental insurance. They performed procedures (full scan X-ray instead of standard ) on my daughter without telling us and then send us a bill for 28 dollars. My wife called them several times to dispute and they never call back and instead sent the 28 dollars to collections. Congrats, 28 dollars cost you 3 clients

Fantastic experience: Our little guy tends to have some major anxiety with new people but we had a really great experience with everyone in the office. Communication was great from the start. All the hygienists we came across were so friendly.

Positive experience: I checked on google the best dental clinic for kids and I came across this. I brought my 3 girls last Sept 2, 2025. Front desk and the dental hygienist, Dani, was superb! Excellent customer service. I did a 3 star because of the dentist that filled in that day since the in house dentist was still on leave. Dr. Haddad was the name of the dentist and it has not been a good experience for my girls especially my 13 and 10 year old girls. We’ve been to different dentists and they’re traumatized with this dentist. She was not gentle during the assessment. Even before my eldest one told me about her experience, I saw her pulling hard my daughter’s lips. My 2 eldest daughters bled and were hurt from her assessment. So when my 2nd one got done and the youngest is the next to be seen, she got anxious and cried from what she heard from her sisters. She already has anxiety with medical/dental procedures and I didn’t put her on the spot to be traumatized her whole life. Another thing, I know flouride is supposed to be applied on the teeth and not to be scrubbed on the sides of the mouth or lips. Kinda weird.

Fantastic experience: We took our daughter for her first ever dental visit. I was super nervous she'd freak out and not let them do anything. But from the moment we walked in my mind was at ease. The waiting area was kid friendly, the staff was super kind, the dental hygienist took her time and showed my daughter everything, explained what it was, let her touch things, etc. My daughter had ZERO issues. She let the dentist count her teeth and poke around. He was just as caring and gentle as the hygienist and took time to explain everything. She was so comfortable with them and had a perfect exam. She's even excited to go back in 6 months! Highly recommend!! 5 ⭐️!!

Positive experience: The staff was very patient with my son who was scared. The only thing that really bothered me was we had to reschedule my son’s filling appointment due to the office manager being more worried about scheduling than a scared little boy. They started the nitrous oxide on him for like 5 minutes and then told me we had to come back. I was very frustrated.

Fantastic experience: I have been so nervous to take my kids to the dentist because I knew the recommendation was going to be more than I was comfortable with. It’s clear that the new dentist at this office and the entire staff & dental team actually care and understand where you are coming from. No pressing you to do things you’re not comfortable with, and they are amazing with the kids! So grateful for the care we are receiving.

Fantastic experience: As a parent- From checking in to checking out the whole experience was wonderful. The staff made the new patient process simple, quick and efficient! My kiddo was nervous to go to the dentist. She expressed her relief that “it wasn’t too bad.” Haha The tv screens above the exam chairs made it easier. Fantastic experience: I took my 5yr old for her first dentist visit. She was very nervous and the hygienist calmed her right down and was so gentle and kind. The dentist then came in and talked with her through the whole exam and she did great! She now loves the dentist and cannot wait to go back.

Negative experience: This company heavily advertisers that they accept Access insurance for braces.... It is false advertising they do not even have an orthodontist in the building

Fantastic experience: They are amazing ! They always get all three of my kids in at the same time. They are so patient and great with the kids. My daughter needed dental surgery twice and an emergency visit and they were great with her and really took care of her .

The location itself is beautiful, and the kid-friendly atmosphere made the experience even better. So glad we found this place!

Fantastic experience: I have two kids that go to this dentistry. One is a 9 year old special needs child. She’s on the autism spectrum. She has good visits where everything goes smoothly and other visits where she needs to be coached through all procedures. She gets anxious and nervous, but the staff handles my kiddo beautifully. I love all the staff at Children’s Ironwood Dentistry. They are always able to talk her though the x-rays (no other dentist has been able to do that) and get her teeth cleaned. They are so gentle, kind, and sooo patient with her. I am so thankful that I was able to find this dentistry. They truly are a godsend. Not to mention, my older daughter who isn’t special needs loves to come here too. Thank you to all the staff! You are amazing!

Fantastic experience: Best experience!! Truly. We've been to a few kids dentists for our boys, and usually the experiences is just okay... and sometimes a nightmare. Thankfully we found Dr. Mindi and her team at Ironwood, because the experience was beyond 5 stars. Her patients and kindness put our boys at ease almost immediately. We are so grateful to the entire staff there for doing things right, we highly recommend this office and Dr. Mindi!!

Negative experience: Horrible. Dr Mindi D Elia berated me about radiation and lectured me and scared my child all because I didn’t want to do X-rays more twice in one year my child is 7. She is cruel and unkind and scared my child. She then preceded to tell me how the previous dentist is being investigated for fraud. Don’t go there if Dr Mindi d Elia is there she is cruel and awful

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mindi is the BEST person! let alone dentest!! We came here on a random and left here with a 5 star overall experience. My 3 year old had to have extensive work done due to poor habits. the Dr didn't shame me she just came up with a plan to fix him. She was able to do all his work in under a hour her anesthesiologist was informative and they worked together for years. Dr. Mindi has been doing this for 14 years. the lady's at the desk and on the phone were very polite patient and gave me answers to questions I didn't even think to ask. Good Job Iornwood dentistry!!!! Now my baby has a beautiful smile!!!

Fantastic experience: My first baby’s first visit to the dentist! I was so nervous as I’d never done this before and wasn’t sure how my daughter would react. I was beyond impressed with the staff - I mean Everyone we came into contact with! It was such a smooth visit, I’m happy to say my daughter isn’t afraid to go back. I also loved how nice the facility was! Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Wow! First time in today and immediately were greeted with smiles and great customer service. The office is gorgeous and has an adorable wait room with iPads and tv for the kids. Makenna was who did my daughter’s cleaning and never in my life have I seen someone with her level of care. She was amazing with my daughter and made the dentist experience fun for her. My daughter could not stop talking about how she loved her dentist and that should tell you a lot. HIGHLY recommend this dentistry for your kids!!

Negative experience: We loved Dr tasker and are really bummed he moved. Didn’t have a great experience with the new dentist they brought on so we will be switching to another practice after being patients for 4 years at ironwood. Just didn’t feel like she connected well with our kids and felt like unnecessary treatment was being suggested, or was just not explained well to understand the need. Dr tasker made suggestions previously (when he worked here) that were so well explained and genuine. The suggestions we were given seemed like our file was quickly skimmed in my opinion. Our appointment was almost roughly 1.5 hours long when it is usually sooo fast and quick. They did say they were short staffed, so I understand that it was slower and was ok with that. When we were able to see the dentist, it felt very rushed and like she was trying to push through and be done as quickly as possible. After waiting so long, it just was a little disheartening to feel like we were being rushed away. The front office staff and dental assistants are all so kind and we will miss getting to see them!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mindi is absolutely amazing with my 3 boys. We have been coming here just within the past year and I will do everything I can to continue taking my kids to Dr Mindi. Her staff is so wonderful and inviting. My kids are talkers and they will listen and make my kids feel loved and comfortable. You can tell that everyone in this office has the kids' well being held as a top priority. They are patient and take their time if my kids are ever nervous. I fully recommend Dr Mindi and her entire staff to anyone looking for pediatric dentistry in the area

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mindi is incredible. My son needed 2 extractions and he was super stressed about it. She made sure he was comfortable, calm, and treated with the best care. I can tell she puts her all into what she does and she has a passion for helping kids. As a parent, that makes the entire process of taking kids to a scary place like a dentist much easier. I couldn’t have asked for a better office and doctor to help my kids.

Negative experience: I have brought my kids to this office 2x and even that was too many times. The first time I brought my 3 kids and all seemed okay. Staff was great. Office was clean etc. then comes the dentist, Dr. Tasker. Was not a fan first impression. He checks all my kids and then tells me my then 4 yr old has a cavity and will need to be filled. Told him I’ll catch him on the next visit for that. Fast forward 9 months. I get new insurance and bring 2 of my kids back. Staff is great, waiting area is clean etc etc. X-rays completed, the staff really is great with kids. Then once again Dr. Tasker comes in and the first thing he says to me regarding my now 5 yr old is “you should of gotten that cavity filled when I told you to, now it is too large and depending on the damage, we can do a cap or will have to extract” I laughed. At that point, I decided I will never go back. How dare you talk to me like that and say it’s my fault for not doing what he said to do. I leave the office and right away schedule an appt for my 5 yr old with my dentist and just like I expected, the was no mention of caps, or extractions. He informed me my daughter had a little cavity and can be taken care of with no further issues. For Dr. Tasker to recommend services that were not needed is completely unprofessional and I will never return. I held off on writing this review but decided after receiving a $300 bill that I need to make others aware. The statement that I received doesn’t even show what the charges are for or even the dates of service. Just that I owe $298. STAY AWAY or get a second opinion!

Fantastic experience: I brought my granddaughter in for her first dental visit with Kylie and Dr Mindy, the service was great and the staff was friendly will be back again.

Negative experience: Worst children’s dentist I’ve ever been to the lady at their sister company in Gilbert failed to reach out to me for 3 weeks regarding a serious matter with my 4 year old cavity that was causing her pain and they knew this. It was an emergency and couldn’t reach out for WEEKS. I called and called and called then when they finally reached out to me they failed to acknowledge how unprofessional it was to not contact me after serval emails and voicemails and calls. Luckily I found a different dentist that cares about my little one in the meantime. Maybe they should consider replacing front desk management. She was SO RUDE and was not accountable. If I had her name I would post it because she made me cry and was a COMPLETE MEAN GIRL. Do not go here.

Fantastic experience: Thank you ironwood children’s dentistry! I am so glad we moved to this dentist office, they are honestly, have integrity, and my kids said their teeth were the cleanest they have ever felt. My daughter said she couldn’t stop touching them they were so clean. If you are looking for a new dentist for your kiddos give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Edited to add: we have since been back for a polish and the team was fantastic! They were kind and enthusiastic, thorough with their responses to questions and dental work. I'm confident our future visits will be so great, as well. The new dentist, Dr. Mandi (sp?) is wonderful! Previous experience: We had positive experiences here the first several times we went, but the last two times have been underwhelming. First off, it's incredibly difficult to get a hold of the office. The scheduling is outsourced so the front desk people aren't the people answering the phone when you call the number given. The last time my kids had their teeth cleaned, the hygienist didn't clean off my daughter's staining and the dentist didn't say anything either (it was a different dentist when we went in July) so when we went home and I noticed her teeth were still stained, I called in. The regular dentist had said we could go in just for a polish for her staining if we needed to, so I told her that, she tried to get a hold of the office to verify and they didn't answer, so she said they'd contact me. They never did (I have the number in my phone and even answered spam calls just in case) and so I tried again and it was the same situation. I liked the previous dentist so maybe he was on vacation, but the hygienists were both different as well.

Positive experience: Dentist must double book. Every time we've come, We're early, get called back a little late and still wait over 20 min for the dentist to come in after hygienist. Stuff comes up. I get that, but today, 40 min wait for the dentist. Thought they forgot about us. They're really nice though which makes a difference!

Fantastic experience: Makenna and Dr. Mindy were amazing. So glad we found this pediatric dentistry. Makenna made my kids feel safe while having so much fun! Long gone are the dreaded dentist appointments!!

Fantastic experience: We LOVE this team! 3 kids ages 7,5, and 3 years old is not easy at the dentist. The hygienist team were welcoming, friendly, and efficient for the attention span of the kids! The dentist was even more friendly, kind, and funny. She and her team had to contact insurance once, and had it resolved within 5 minutes. We’re hooked for many more years to come!

Fantastic experience: My 2 year old and I just had the best experience at your office! The front desk was so kind and courteous. In the waiting room the assistant went above and beyond to connect with my son right away about his love of Cars. He was hesitant to sit in the dental chair at first but the zero pressure atmosphere gave him the time he needed to feel comfortable enough to give it a try. Both the dentist Dr Mindi and the assistant (so sorry I can't recall her name) were amazing with my son and were able to complete his appoint with ease. Fantastic experience: My 7 year old has had problems with his teeth since he was a baby. Yesterday he had to have 4 crowns and SIX extractions. My heart sank and I was so sad for my boy. The new doctor sat with my husband and I and took the time to talk us through it all and answered every question we had. (We had a lot lol ) She spoke with us at length again after the procedure was over and made us feel like part of her family. The anesthesiologist were just as wonderful and so was the office staff. Everyone made my son feel safe and happy to the point he literally skipped his way to the chair giggling and smiling. This is the only place I will recommend especially if you are a nervous mom!!! Never felt so at home at a dentist office before.

Fantastic experience: Always an easy visit with this dental team, they bend over backwards to help kids be comfortable and calm in what can be a very stressful environment. I have an autistic child, and from the beginning they’ve always worked with us to do what’s best for him and still provide the care he needs. Negative experience: FRAUD! Avoid at ALL cost! Made a new patient appointment for braces. Went in and they start doing a cleaning didn't ask for that but I thought maybe it's protocol. They take X-rays even though he just had it 3 months prior. "Dr" comes in and says there's 5 cavities! That's odd because his dentist just said there was ZERO! Then they tell me they don't do braces there! So, why did they schedule me? I already had the referral, I didn't need a cleaning I needed an orthodontist.

The staff demonstrated utmost care and courtesy and addressed all my queries and concerns with professionalism. I have already recommended this establishment to several acquaintances. Fantastic experience: Coming from California, my kids had a terrible experience with dentists. At first my kids were a little scared to come here, but now they absolutely love it. I use to drive over an hour for this location, now I live about 30 mins but this place is worth it. Everyone is so friendly, caring and understanding.
