Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for excellent dental care. I have been coming here for the past 3–4 years, and every visit has been a great experience. The dentist is professional, gentle, and truly cares about her patients. She has done my teeth cleanings, root canal treatment, and tooth extractions, and every procedure has been handled with great care and skill. She always takes the time to make sure I am comfortable and explains everything clearly. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. I am very grateful for the excellent care I have received over the years. If you're looking for a trustworthy and experienced dentist, I highly recommend this office. Fantastic experience: Essence smiles has state of the art equipments and knowledge to cater to all your dental problems. I’d recommend without reservations. This is an updated review for my case in December 2025: I visited for my yearly dental cleanup but with a slight lower jaw molar problem….Dr. Gurung with a fine and slight touch of a hand cured this nagging chewing problem in just a few moments. Like I always say, you wanna fly, fly with a pilot, you wanna check your dentals, go to her! Experience matters! Thanks Dr. Sulochana Gurung!

Negative experience: I had an appointment at 1 p.m., and I arrived on time. Dr. Sulochana Grg was not there, and her assistant told me she would be there soon and would take care of me. I waited almost an hour, and by 2 p.m. she still hadn’t shown up. I went to check with the front desk, and they told me she would be there in the next 10 to 15 minutes. I have been waiting since then, but she still hasn’t arrived. My concern is that everyone’s time is valuable—both the doctor’s and the patient’s. Everyone needs to be professional and punctual. If the doctor was not able to come to the office, she should have informed me instead of keeping me waiting for 1 hour and 25 minutes doing nothing. Worst experience ever .

Negative experience: Came in for cleaning, gave me anesthesia injection without giving me any warning. I was never given any kind of anesthesia injection for cleaning in the past which I have went to dentist every year or in 2 years for cleaning.

It took quite while altogether but the Miss Gurung took care so well. I was there for tooth extract. Since empty stomach, Dr. Gurung recommended medicine and gave me another appointment to be safe. Fantastic experience: I had a good experience with my visit to Essence Smiles. They have advance technology and they showed my tooth on screen which was super cool. Doctor was patience and gave good suggestions for my queries. I had a cavity on one of my tooth and we discussed about what will be a good solution. Doctor suggested that she will clean the cavity first and if necessary she would have removed my tooth. But luckily she said my teeth is good after removing cavity. otherwise I would have loose one teeth. They did their procedure efficiently and effectively. I got my teeth polished at the end and it looks better and whiter than before. Thank you Would love to visit again I near future. I also got gift from them.
