Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office is very friendly and professional. All the hygienist I've had have done a great job. The atmosphere is comforting also...Dr Shyn and other dentist are very good. The billing area goes the extra Mike to work with your insurance.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to Link Dental and Dr Shyn by a good friend. I have had two crowns done by Dr Shyn I am really grateful to my friend who recommended them Dr Shyn is very professional and actually cares about his patients and the whole experience has been great. I have seen a lot of dentists in my life and this group is the best ever! They care, they are fair, and the dental work is state of the art!

Fantastic experience: I have very problematic teeth and I’ve been to many dentists over the years. I definitely have enough experience with dentists to see good from bad. Dr. Shyn is wonderful! Never pushy, always gives a couple of options for me to select what’s financially more acceptable to me and what would benefit me the most. I’ve been going to this dentist for a couple of years now and can say it with confidence - Dr. Shyn is a wonderful dentist! Inna, his assistant, is amazing too. Every time I come here I feel very comfortable, welcome, and confident they’ll take good care of me.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this practice for over 25 years, and there is no better hygienist in Atlanta than Christy! The entire staff is professional and friendly, and Dr. Shyn is an extremely gentle dentist. I highly recommend this practice!

Negative experience: I went to this dental clinic because before I made an appointment, I called to double check if they do dental/composite bonding as advertised. They said yes. I also asked if they could get a pre-authorization on any recommended procedure. They said yes. When I got there, I told them that I only need my two front teeth x-rayed. I have been to another dentist who did a complete xray already but said he doesn't do composite bonding and for me to find a dentist who does composite bonding. I had a series of questions and my voice may have been loud. Somehow, I was insistent in having them get a pre-authorization. They said they can't. They can't? My dentist in Los Angeles always got a pre-authorization plus co,-pay. When the dentist came in the room to check my teeth, he said I need either a crown or veneers. NO, I said. I've always had bonding that lasts 5 years for the past 30 years. We reparteed back and forth and he finally said he doesn't do bonding. HUH? Did his ad lie? He lied to me. He just didn't want to do the job. Composite bonding is cheaper than crowns or veneers. Figures. What a crook.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a dentist who’s straightforward and genuinely good at what he does, Dr. Aristo Shyn is the one. His office was recommended by a friend, and I completely understand why. He’s honest, actually listens, doesn’t oversell you on stuff, and knows his stuff. Also, he has a great team that makes the whole experience so efficient.

Fantastic experience: LOVE this office! Dr. K was not only very friendly, but she asked what my concerns were, addressed all of them, and let me know some small other problem areas we can also focus on. My cleaning was great, pain free. They got me in for correcting a chipped filling right away which I really appreciated. Everyone I encourted was friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and feels recently updated. They also sent me home with a goodie bag! I didn’t feel like they were making recommendations just to drive a higher bill which is HUGE for finding an office.

Fantastic experience: I am sooo happy I decided to go to this clinic. I just got out of my appointment. The people here are so nice, professional and kind. The moment I walked in and received the forms to fill out, the front desk lady complemented me. Got me blushing I had to bring my 4year old daughter with me, the whole time we felt very welcomed. They talked to her, let her come into the room with me and even protected her from the X-rays. Top tier attention. While Dr. Kandalkar examined my teeth she asked questions and asked me to let her know all my discomforts and things I have noticed about my teeth, that I would like her to check for. She listened very carefully and patiently and explained everything that she noticed. A very kind and professional lady. I 100% recommend her. I came in for an evaluation. My appointment was at 11am, I got there like at 10:50, after filling out the forms, they called me in at 11 and I was out by 11:30am. This was so fast, It probably could’ve taken only 15-20 mins but I ask a lot of questions.

Negative experience: I have to say too many unnecessary X-rays have been taken in the past 2 years(every 6 months), this has gone beyond my insurance coverage. Dr Shyn even didn't take a look at my X-ray results at all after my teeth cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Shyn since he bought the practice in Norcross. He is an excellent dentist and has done some miracles with repairing and saving many problem teeth! Plus, he is just a nice person! Highly recommended!!

Positive experience: First time coming here, recommend by my husband. Overall a good experience. They were very sweet with their “welcome” bag for new customers. The first room I sat in was for the doctor to look over things, since it was my first visit. Then I was moved into another room for my cleaning. I was told it wouldn’t be like this in the next appt, it was just because it was my first appt. A couple of things that I felt made me take away from 5 stars: 1. The front desk person was not a friendly face or warm welcome, especially for someone coming for the first time. She was young with long brown hair. That already made me feel uncomfortable for my first experience. 2. While getting my teeth cleaned they didn’t provide glasses/goggles, which I have always had in my previous cleanings at other locations. Maybe they don’t do that here. So a few times things were flying in my eyes, which was not pleasant. 3. After my cleaning was done, I wasn’t handed a mirror to check things out. Felt strange to just leave without looking at anything. 4. No one really introduces themselves in the staff, just the doctor that came in the beginning. 5. They spelled my last name wrong, even after filling out paperwork and giving them my Drivers License. I let them know so they wouldn’t run into any troubles when submitting to insurance. I was helping them out.

Fantastic experience: This is a beautiful practice. The staff are friendly, professional, and overall very pleasant! I hadn’t had a cleaning in a couple years (not the best choice!), and the dental hygienist did an IMMACULATE job on my teeth. (I believe her name was Kim.) I could FEEL how detail-oriented she was. That says something! I am not making the mistake of extending dental visits again. Back to every 6 months like I used to! The doctor and Kim were both very informative and helpful on what I needed to do to prevent buildup near my gums. Thankfully, it was only on 2 of them. Thank you so much! My teeth look pristine. Definitely sticking with this practice. ✨

Fantastic experience: I don’t think I’ve ever posted a review for a dentist. Usually you want to avoid going to the dentist at all cost- that’s not the case here with Link Dental. Both Dentist are fantastic and their facility is top notch. It has the latest technology and every instance has been a dream with this team. From the front desk to the assistants to the dentist- they all make you feel at home and comfortable. We’ve had cleanings and fillings and I can honestly say this is by far my best experience ever- and I’ve been doing dentist for 50 years. Give them a try you’ll be glad you did.

Fantastic experience: I needed a tooth extraction from a chipped back bottom tooth with deep roots that gave me severe pain. That tooth had a cavity & decay. I had an appointment at 10. I was in the chair at 10, numbed up at 10:10, and done at 10:15 with ZERO pain. Dr. Shyn was great! Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a bad experience at another dental office that kept me from finding a dentist I could trust. I knew I needed a dentist's soon because I couldn't keep gargling with food grade peroxide to help with my toothache. After reading reviews on my insurance website and seeing the dentist smile, I decided to try this office. Soon as I walked in, I noticed how clean it was. Then, on the wall, it's a placard stating how their office was focused on integrity VS getting as much possible from insurance companies(summary). The staff was welcoming and the wait time was about 5 minutes. Soon as I went to the back, very clean as well. They listened to my fears and made me feel comfortable. After the shots, he said I would feel pressure and as Dr.Shyn was looking around,(in my mouth)WATCH THIS, why he said, ALL DONE! I replied what you mean? It took him 5 minutes-if that, to extract my back tooth! When I say I was shocked! I didn't even believe him! He will be my dentists now lol! This was an exceptional experience and if you need a pain free, clean, friendly environment, this is your place! I wish I could give more starsI'm still in shock lol I want to say thank you to the Link Dental Team!

Fantastic experience: Switched from my out-of-network Buckhead dentist of 20 years to Dr. Shyn's practice last week. I wish I had done it years ago. Offices and equipment were state-of-the-art, staff was very polite and professional. Communication, wait time and procedure were all great. And I paid a fraction of what I was because they were in network for my plan. Dr. Shyn himself was very thorough, friendly and spent a good amount of time explaining the issues he found. Fantastic experience: When I had a bad toothache on a Saturday, Dr. Shyn responded quickly, calling me an asking the right questions, getting me a prescription. His staff also helped, getting me an appointment on that Monday. Dr. Shyn diagnosed the problem and with terrific support from his technician, Julia, they saved the tooth and fixed the issue. She made sure that I was comfortable during the whole cleaning process and was gentle with giving me information about my teeth. Also, she was very funny so it made the whole experience even better! Fantastic experience: I wish I can give more stars. I had my first appointment with Link Dental this morning, as they came highly recommended by one of my girlfriends. They are the most personable and friendly dental office I have ever been to. Alicia was so welcoming with her warm smile and cheery voice. They really try to make the intake process as smooth as possible and asked for my HI info prior to my appointment. As soon as I got there within 5 minutes I was in having my X-Rays completed. Julia the assistant was super nice and I instantly opened up to her about my prior dental traumas that kept me from going to the Dentist. Dr. Shin was very friendly and reviewed my scans thoroughly and explained that my previous root canal almost cost me my tooth. He gave me the game plan and it was reassuring to know that everything could be done in their offices (crowns, root canals, implants). I initially came in for a check up but decided this is the place and wanted to get some fillings completed since I was there. I saw Monique the hygienist and she was AMAZING! She's definitely a long lost girlfriend I didn't know about and hadn't spoken to in years(LOL). She was SO chill and we vibed instantly. I wished we could chat more but... it's difficult when she's trying to clean my teeth! She was so sweet and professional, she explained why it's necessary to floss and actually taught me how to floss correctly. I'm 39 yrs old and I realized no one ever taught me. Past dental offices would just ask if I flossed or not. She made me feel so comfortable and I answered every question and concern I had. I went back to see Dr. Shin who also informed me I grind my teeth and I was shocked. No dentist in my 39 years ever told me that. He said I clench and grind, hence why my molars weren't mountainous as they should be and more flat (mindblown). Before Dr. Shin started treating my teeth, Alicia came in and reviewed what was covered by my insurance and what I would be paying today. No hidden fees, exact dollar amount. Dr. Shin has the quickest hands.. I'm usually a nervous wreck and super anxious but he was quick and gentle. It was over before I knew it. The teamwork between him and Julia were on point. Julia is so kind and friendly, we talked about my upcoming wedding and it helped me relax. At check out Alicia answered all my questions on pricing, providing me estimates for my crown, implant, and whitening services. Usually I leave dentist office with a hole in my wallet and dreading the next appt. But today, I thought damn.. I want to and need to leave a review so more people have this kind of experience and service. I'm really excited for my next appointment and want to build a healthier relationship with my teeth!

Fantastic experience: Had another excellent trip to Link Dental Care this morning. Location & parking are very convenient and the staff is very friendly. Both the hygienist and dentist I saw were very helpful in explaining to me what they were seeing and how I could improve my teeth/gum health. My hygienist Monique was excellent- very professional and easy to talk with while at the same time providing excellent care and making me feel at ease. I would love to have her as my hygienist again in the future!

Fantastic experience: Awesome staff, from office, to techs, to doctor. Great communication via calls or text messaging (you can also reply to their text messages), if you want to communicate by text. Super clean facilty, along with the latest up to date dental equipment. They book your cleanings 6 months in advance and were booked out at least 2 months when I had to cancel and rebook an appointment. However, they added me to a list and got me in within a few days for a last-minute cancellellation (actually texted me and then called when I did not respond for an hour). Dr Shyn also responded on a weekend to a friend of mine (not his patient) who had a broken tooth and was able to work him in the next day.

Fantastic experience: I came inn to get my tooth remove. Doctor shyn did a really good job. Looking forward for a tooth implant. I also love the building. there is a TV on top when the lay you down on the chair help me relax my nerves.

Negative experience: Elderly beware! Not sure what’s happened to this place. I received dental care here 2 years ago and had a great experience. However, my elderly parent recently sought dental care here due to my recommendation (for which I feel horrible now) and ended up having to pay over $1000 for a procedure she was told would only cost her less than half of that amount out of pocket. It wasn’t until after they performed the procedure that she was told the insurance denied coverage and that she would have to pay the full amount. I work in healthcare and whenever our patients have a procedure they are told how much it will be out of pocket before having the procedure. That is not only common courtesy but common practice in medical, does the same not apply to dental? I thought there may have been some misunderstanding but come to hear a similar issue happened with my in laws here as well! Stay away especially if you are elderly and don’t have someone with you to protect you!

Fantastic experience: I Absolutely LOVE my dentist! Dr. Shyn and the Link Dental staff are amazing! I’ve always had a phobia about going to the dentist however this staff is great! I had some major dental work done recently and Dr. Shyn was so great at explaining everything and calming me down. If you’re looking for a good dentist, Link Dental is the place for you!!! Fantastic experience: He took care of my very precarious (close to the nerve) filings in a very delicate way. This has by far been the least painful cavity filings in my life (given that the cavity was pretty deep and tricky to extract). Great work!

He’s very gentle and knowledgeable about how to take care of any dental problem. I especially like that he doesn’t do any work that is unnecessary. Both my daughters live in Atlanta and they drive to Duluth to see Dr. Shyn. They both had bad experiences with other dentists who did unnecessary work and then missed things that should’ve been done. They have complete confidence in Dr. Shyn and don’t mind driving a bit for his services. Also I have seen the same hygienist since I started this practice. Christy is great!

Negative experience: I'm sorry, but I will not return here ever again. When I got my first few cleanings at his old location, it was perfect. There weren't any issues with how my teeth looked. The past two cleanings I've had this year have been horrible. I've noticed that my teeth were scraped to the max. My teeth don't look familiar to me. One side of my canine tooth looks a lot smaller compared to the other side. There is also the weird spacing between my teeth on the right side of my mouth. I can't recognize my smile. Since the beginning of this year, I’ve tried to have a positive mindset believing that my cleaning would come out great. I've been proven wrong each time. My mouth has never looked like this. I'm embarrassed to smile. Additionally, I became very skeptical about my 6-month checkups. Dr. Shyn shows me my X-rays informing me that I have cavities. Six months later, they tell me I may need a root canal. I let the hygienist know that day that I was informed I didn't have a cavity. She looked into the same X-rays from my previous check-up and showed me where the deep cavity was located in my mouth. I can trust this place of business. I would rather have a dentist be honest with me about my mouth than allow my mouth to progress worse just to get more money out of me. Never coming back.

Fantastic experience: I moved for my second time since I made Georgia my home in 2018 so initially I was worried about finding a dentist office that was as nice as my last one. I have to say no one should ever worry about coming to this dentist. Every one is nice, polite, accommodating, and you feel an overall positive vibe as soon as you walk in. I personally think the lobby is beautiful and relaxing. The dental assistant was very thorough with my cleaning *two thumbs up*. They also have a small TV on the ceiling above the chair you lay on, and it plays scenic videos while the dental assistant does their thing. That experience was nice. The dentist is also nice and seems easy to talk to. Overall a wonderful experience from the moment you step, reschedule, and walk out.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shyn is great, 10/10 recommend!! He fixed some bad fillings I had gotten done at another dentist, repaired/replaced my permanent retainer from an orthodontist after it broke, and got my night guard situation sorted out so quickly before I went on a big trip. Also the entire staff is very nice & of course Christy is the best hygienist ever - been going to her for many years now!

Fantastic experience: We have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Shyn and Link Dental. We found Link Dental when my wife needed to be seen to diagnose a dental emergency. Dr. Shyn's office staff was very responsive and helpful; they were able to get my wife in right away. Dr. Shyn was very straightforward and professional in his diagnosis. Due to the specifics of the situation, he referred us to a trusted specialist (who also did great work) and made calls on our behalf to get my wife seen days earlier than it would have been otherwise. Dr. Shyn seems as personable as he is capable and seems to have assembled a great team.
