I live 40 min away from their office now but I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I love the family vibe I get there.

Negative experience: This place is a complete rip-off! Any dentist I’ve ever been to, they take X-rays, do your cleaning, then the dentist will come in and examine your mouth before going over findings and give you prices on additional services before moving forward. Within seconds of doing my X-rays, the dentist came in telling me I need all of these things then they took me back to the waiting room and quoted me an absurd amount! I immediately left. I’ve never had to pay a single dime for a cleaning, let alone $400! Please stay FAR away from this place! I will rather drive an hour back to my previous dentist or find a different one.

Fantastic experience: I’m really glad I found Unique Dental Spa. I started going there after one of my back molars came out and I found out I had some periodontal issues. Since then I’ve had a deep cleaning and a couple follow-up cleanings, and every visit has been a good experience. The hygienists have done a great job and have all been very professional. The staff at Unique Dental Spa are always friendly and courteous. Gieneva, the office manager at the front desk, is especially great. She’s always welcoming when I come in, and she actually cleaned my teeth today and did an excellent job. She really takes the time to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. It had been a while since I’d been to the dentist, so I was a little nervous getting back into it. But they explained everything clearly and never made me feel judged or rushed. They also went over the other work I still need done, like getting a couple wisdom teeth removed and some fillings, and the pricing was very reasonable. That made me feel comfortable coming back to get the rest of the work done. It feels good getting back on track with my dental health, and Unique Dental Spa has made the whole process easy. I definitely recommend them, and I really appreciate how helpful and professional Gieneva has always been.

Negative experience: The doctor that works there does not seem happy to work there. I have came to this office twice for a service and was rescheduled each time. The first time of rescheduling, I was physically in the office waiting for service to be performed and was told to come back without an explanation. Before leaving the office, I was rescheduled. I came back for my rescheduled appointment and was once again declined service due to high bp which no one made aware I would be checked for prior to servicing. It wasn’t until today that I called and asked for a manager that she explained they could not see me bc a hygienist was not present in office. I mentioned to her, they should have relaid that information prior to me arriving as I did schedule my appointment with enough time given. She agreed and apologized. After explaining my horrible 2 inconvenient office visits, the manager offered to perform the service free of charge if my primary signed off on my bp levels, I agreed. I just received a text from the office saying they are no longer able to move forward with me as a patient. Who’s surprised? I did start off the conversation telling her it seems as though the doctor is not motivated to work. I don’t recommend this place at all. The staff from my initial visit 2 years ago made my experience worthwhile. But this doctor, no thank you, didn’t even smile, thats not the kind of service I want from someone operating in my mouth.

Positive experience: I don’t usually leave reviews, but after today’s experience I felt it was necessary. I moved to Atlanta last year and have struggled to find a reputable, clean dentist, which is what led me to Unique Dental Spa. My first visit was amazing because Dr. Hakami was incredibly informative and walked me through my treatment plan with care, and Maria, the patient care coordinator, was amazing. Today, I went in for a routine cleaning with fluoride. My insurance covers 100% of cleanings and fluoride treatments. When I checked in with Gieneva (the office manager), I told her the fluoride should be covered. She responded that she would send it to my insurance and, if it WASN’T covered, they would simply bill me later. I said that was completely fine. When I went back for my cleaning, the hygienist didn’t perform the fluoride treatment. When I asked about it, she told me it had been crossed off my treatment sheet which was strange, because I never declined it. She asked if I still wanted it, and I said yes. We went back to Gieneva for checkout, and the hygienist told her, “We did fluoride.” What bothered me is that I never told anyone I didn’t want the fluoride, so why was it crossed off? And if I hadn’t spoken up, I wouldn’t have received a treatment that my insurance fully covers — yet the office still would have billed me for it or submitted it to insurance as if it happened (because that’s what the office manager said she would do). That’s concerning. The whole interaction left me uncomfortable. It made me question the transparency of what’s being billed versus what’s actually being done. It’s disappointing, because I genuinely liked the dentist and the rest of the staff and thought I finally found a trustworthy place. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won’t be returning to complete my treatment plan. ***UPDATE*** They reached out to me and took the time to call and clear things up, which I truly appreciate. They explained that the situation with the fluoride treatment was a miscommunication during a busy time. I want to emphasize that I never declined the treatment, and they mentioned that some patients do decline it, which may have caused confusion on their end. I also want to clarify that, in my original review, I was not insinuating that they bill for services not performed. My concern was simply that communication between staff members needs to be smoother — especially when it comes to treatments and billing — because situations like this can easily lead to errors. If I hadn’t spoken up, there was a possibility that I could have been charged for something I didn’t receive due to the miscommunication. With all that said, I’m updating my rating to 4 stars instead of 5. I still believe communication is key for any business, particularly in healthcare, and I appreciate their willingness to address the issue directly.

Negative experience: Honestly I don’t understand. I needed an extraction. I booked an appointment in an advance and then when I arrived I was told booking was full. They took my x ray and told me I would need to go to a different location of their building.

Fantastic experience: I found Unique Dental Spa on Zocdoc and chose them from the reviews and that they are available on weekends.I have a hectic and unpredictable work schedule that weekends are the only time I can come in. The facility is very clean the staff are very nice and accommodating.I came in to get my crown replaced and Dr.Hakami was very professional,caring and patient.My second visit my gums were swollen to have an impression so we rescheduled for the swelling to go down to get a nice fit. Overall I enjoyed my visit Im glad I went with them instead of a few others on the list I wasn’t rushed or upsold on anything and I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a dental office in Norcross and ended up having a genuinely great experience with Dr. Hakami and the team. They took care of my root canal, implants, and crown with real attention to detail and made the whole process smoother than I expected. Everyone’s professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. The office is modern and well equipped, and you can tell they really know their stuff. Definitely a place I’d recommend.

Negative experience: My wife had dental emergency and we were Excited, we found a dentist that operated on Saturdays. Upon arrival, it looked really nice. However, the service was horrible. We weren’t greeted when we walked in the receptionist just told us to go have a seat While being on the phone. Called me to front desk and handed me a clip board and said go fill that out. I was sent a link to sign agreeing to pay an amount in which I knew my insurance covered my visit. When I asked for explanation, she told me to sit down and give her a second and proceeded to send me another link with no explanation… I was then taken to the back for X-rays and exam in which neither person I encounter cared to know any of my concerns or what led up too this emergency. Everything I attempted to address or say was shut down and looked over. Due to the lack of customer service I decided I didn’t want to spend my money there for service because I didn’t feel welcome as the assistant came to discuss treatment she aggressively told me I need to have a seat and listen to the treatment plan in which I politely told her I’d wait and I left… this was the worse experience I’ve ever had and just remember customer service is key even in dentistry you want to make patients feel welcome I will not be returning to this dentist and no I wouldn’t recommend any of my following to go there it looks really nice but it’s a hard no for me

Fantastic experience: I usually get really anxious about going to the dentist, but this office has completely changed that for me. The dentist and dental assistants are incredibly caring and always make sure I’m comfortable every step of the way. I’ve had a few procedures done and was feeling overwhelmed, but they took the time to talk me through everything and even created a plan that made me feel more at ease. I truly appreciate the patience and compassion they show. I don’t enjoy going to the dentist, but I trust this team completely.

Negative experience: EDIT 6/16/25: I don’t really ever leave reviews. i only left my original review (below) because the front desk lady asked me to. since then, i have been to the dentist for my 6 months cleaning 2 times and i have some things to say. my most recent cleaning, the temp hygienist was super nice. i never have bad experiences with the temporary hygienist, but i also want to point out they only ever have temps. why is that? my problem happened when i got to the front desk to schedule my next 6 months and the lady goes "when do you want to schedule your cavity fillings?" i looked at her and went "what fillings?" the dentist had not mentioned at all when he was poking around in my mouth after my cleaning that i needed fillings. if i need fillings, that's 100% fine but i expect my dentist to communicate with me. This was not the first time the front desk lady had tried to pressure me into scheduling more frequent appointments or appointments for things not discussed to me by the dentist. It made me so extremely uncomfortable that i finally made the switch to another dentist. since going to another dentist, and having transparent and communicative dentists and techs, i realized exactly how uncomfortable Unique Dental Spa made me. the new place is also transparent about how they are billing me with my insurance and it seems like Unique also wasn't billing my insurance correctly because i would get billed for things my insurance should cover. Negative experience: Absolutely awful. I had one good experience here, but they screwed up constantly on the second visit. They got our information wrong multiple times. Failed to mention payment. Failed to mention cost. They were over an hour late to the appointment they scheduled for us. Screw this place. Never coming back to this absolute mess.

After living in over 7 cities and switching dentists more than 10 times due to poor experiences, I finally found a place I trust — and I now drive over 40 minutes just to see them. Dr. Hakami is truly one of a kind — flexible, patient, and extremely attentive. He always takes the time to explain the pros and cons of every treatment option, ensuring I’m fully informed and comfortable before moving forward. The care he provides is thoughtful and precise, and the entire clinic feels like a welcoming family practice. Maria, the patient care coordinator, is an absolute gem. She always goes above and beyond to get me scheduled for the care I need as quickly as possible. She’s consistently kind, friendly, and makes navigating treatment plans feel effortless. Their office has the best team, practice, and dental equipment I’ve ever encountered. Because of this, they can handle most dental issues in-house and always refer to top-tier specialists when needed. I’ve had over 10 root canals due to failed dental work from the past, and thanks to Dr. Hakami and his recommended endodontist — the best I’ve ever worked with — I’ve been able to successfully get through a long and complicated treatment plan. They even treated my younger sister, who has severe medical anxiety and hadn’t seen a dentist in over 2 years. With their patience and care, she not only felt safe but was able to complete her full treatment plan — a huge milestone for her and our family. Dr. Hakami’s office is always striving to improve, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and practices to give patients the best experience possible. I recommend them to all my friends and family because I know they’ll receive exceptional, compassionate care every time.

Fantastic experience: I had wisdom teeth pain for the past few days and my daughter ended up finding Dr. Hakami. They got me in quick and I got my wisdom tooth extraction. I was very nervous and the doctor explained everything to me which made me feel better. I was extremely impressed and there were no hidden charges. When they told me we were done, I was shocked. No pain and procedure was done very fast. I definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: BEST PLACE TO BE ! Look no further. Unique Dental spa is like going to a Chick-fil-A on a Sunday and they’re open. I drove (1) hour to visit and it was the best decision I ever made without having to bother my mom. I didn’t need help with my insurance info or anything because the staff is so organized soon as you walk in you’re greeted and helped. They really care and is very polite. Sunday I had unbearable pain. I walked in crying but immediately started to feel better because the office is just that peaceful and clean. Not 1 attitude in sight. It don’t even smell like a dentist office . The office is so clean it look like a 2035 dentist office. They have free water & coffee as well for guest and a television. It’s not too cold or hot in the office which is perfect for if you do have sensitive tooth pain and the tv volume won’t be loud. Everything is at a comfort level. I had X-rays taken that I didn’t have to leave the dental chair for and the dentist gave me a treatment plan that I was able to decide on what I could afford and what I wanted done first . Even though I came in as a emergency patient, the dentist didn’t have me waiting forever. I was in and out. I was able to choose what worked best for me and the dentist was pleased with my decision. He is patient and knowledgeable. He wrote me a prescription for antibiotics so I could feel better on a Sunday before the pharmacy closed and we started my procedure today (Thursday). It was pain free! YOU ARE TOP PRIORITY @ Unique Dental Spa. They care about you and your health. They will even refer you out the office which let me know they don’t care about your money, they care about your teeth and health first. It’s up to you to make the final decision. The staff is organized , the dentist is organized, and your teeth will be organized again because I feel so much better after my visit. He isn’t heavy handed at all either. Plus I still have ALOT of my insurance money leftover. My mom said I made a great decision by going to Unique Dental Spa. Look no further, please. I want you to feel better and fast like me! & lastly I was scheduled at 10am and was seen at 9:57 am. They are there BEFORE they open so everyone is seen at their scheduled time. I love it there because they helped me & I can’t find all the words to say how thankful I am for finding Unique Dental Spa. He’s the best dentist and has the best staff I was blessed to witness. Fantastic experience: Started coming here in January, so far the staff are always friendly and they do a good job taking care of my teeth.

Negative experience: My actual dental experience at the clinic was fine. I was there for a consultation, and they did a decent job. The reason for my low rating is what transpired afterwards. I was in a lot of pain because I needed to get a root canal. Dr.Hadi and his staff recommended an out of network endodontist for my procedure. I asked if this would imply additional costs as opposed to an "in network" and Dr. Hadi said "No not necessarily". Then, NO ONE told me that I could take their referral to another, potentially in-network endodontist. So I was under the impression I would have to get another consultation if I wanted to go somewhere else. Ended up going to their referral which was so expensive (they made me pay for the entire bill upfront and then less than 35% of the bill was covered by my insurance which came via check 4 weeks later). At best, Dr. Hadi's explanation of my options were careless. At worst, they were predatory. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Came in today and no one forced any procedures on me. Came in and got exactly what I needed done. Staff is very patient, informative, and friendly. Will continue to do business with them.

Negative experience: Edited 3/19/2025: your response was cute but we were not same day walk ins, I scheduled annual cleaning appointments for myself and my daughter 4 days ahead, so your lack of staff and time management is on you. It is not the patient's fault that you have a high turnnover rate, can't keep employees, and x-ray machines are always down. You say 14 days for x rays but Maria said you need a 30 day notice. I told her we were just there last week so how am I supposed to give you a 30 day notice. Sounds like your staff needs better training, 7-14 days and 30 days is a really big time difference. Im glad your calls are recorded, so you can listen to Maria hang up on me when I was asking questions for clarification and understanding. There was no foul language used, she had no answers for me and I wouldn't take her genneric responses so she got flustered that she couldn't accurately answer my questions and hung up. BEWARE OF MEDICAL OFFICES THAT ONLY RESPOND TO POSITIVE REVIEWS AND DO NOT TAKE CARE OF COMPLAINTS. This place is a joke. Went for our annual cleanings and all we received was a treatment plan, did not provide a cleaning for myself or for my child. I specifically made appointments for our ANNUAL CLEANING. I went back first, fast forward an hour and a half later and my daughter is still in the waiting room waiting to be called back. When I called to get our records sent elsewhere for competent service, I was told by Maria that the office is closed all week (how convenient) and then hung up on me.

Fantastic experience: My experience was absolutely amazing! I had so much pain with a molar and was able to get scheduled quickly! The registration was seamless, customer service was excellent! Procedure was the fastest I’ve ever had. Thank you staff!

Fantastic experience: All of the staff was patient and kind while treating my wife for an emergency. They were patient through the anxiety and helpful with aftercare. Not to mention they were courteous and made me very comfortable while waiting for the procedure to be done, even after their normal hours of operation! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
