Fantastic experience: Dr Elovich pulled a tooth that was complicated and did a wonderful job. She prepared the site for a future implant. She is very patient and gentle. Very knowledgeable and explains everything so I can understand. Her assistant, Taylor, is efficient and knows exactly what the dentist wants and anticipates. I have fought through a sea of dental offices to get honest and friendly dental work without feeling pressure by the staff to secure more sales on unnecessary things. If you have had this experience, try this office. I was met with a fantastic reception team. Brittany is great, she means serious business and aims to make the process feel routine to calm your nerves. The other woman, whose name I wish I had gotten, at the counter was amazing as well, and saw through my anxiety to make me feel seen when asking even more questions about insurance coverage. 10/10 Dr. Splett is the dentist I saw, and Ed was his Dental Assistant today. When brought in, I sat down and chatted with Dr. Splett about my dental goals, Ed did a full x-ray work up while gabbing with me which helped again with my nerves, and together they completed an exam. Not only did I never feel pressure to talk about anything I didn’t want to, I felt like I was connecting with actual, empathetic peers, as opposed to a number or a time slot. It’s also nice that they grinded down some teeth that were sharp, hurting my tongue regularly. The relief is indescribable. This is where I will be going for my dental work knowing it’s safe to say what I need, and that I will get the care that is correct for my needs. You should give them a try - feel free to tell them I sent you.

Negative experience: Don’t expect to get in for a cleaning right away if you’re not a current patient. They require an initial assessment at the first appointment, then a follow up appointment is scheduled for any further procedures. I guess so they can bill you twice? I’m not sure, but I was able to get it all done in one visit at other practices I checked. So I did

Negative experience: Im close to finding a new dentist been coming here for 30 years now. They screwed up in billing and blamed me and it wasent my fault they just ate the 800 dollars and now they want me to pay half of a crown because of the past billing and now are saying its my fault. Get your story straight was your fault and always will be. 30 years customer your about too lose if u dont fix this problem.

Negative experience: I moved and forgot to tell my dentist, who would remember that. But lord forbid you call them with an emergency, you'll get attitude from Brittany at the front desk, with a degrading tone for no reason. Then telling me I have to pay over $200 before theyll help me. After me already explaining multiple times I dont have that, I didnt get paid this week.. Please. I'll never step foot here again after this being my dentist since 2019 :)

Fantastic experience: My daughters and I have been going to Dr. Kjar for many years now. He is the best dentist ever. We just LOVE him and the dentist staff. I was so worried when he retired, but Dr. Elovich has been so AMAZING and love her and her staff so much. Totally recommend.

Negative experience: There is no flexibility at all ,they canceled my 7:00am appointment because I was 10 minutes late. I usually have to wait at least 10 minutes or more when arrive on time. I didn't think it was a big deal. My original appointment was supposed to be at 7:30am and I was flexible with them to change it to 7:00am . They expect me to be punctual, when they are not. I was really frustrated and upset after hearing they canceled my appointment. I was the only patient there and they still couldn't help me.

Negative experience: They canceled 3 appointments on me and I gave them everything for my dental insurance they still pretended I had no insurance it's ok I already reported them to the attorney general, consumer affairs, and ICE. Good luck

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dental clinic since I came to MN in '81. I have no reason to change or look for another one. The service is excellent, the staff are professional and clinically competent. They are courteous and careful to tell me exactly what needs to be done. Over the years I have had a lot of work done to maintain healthy teeth and gums. They are also very helpful in figuring out the best plan for paying for the work done when it gets more expensive than routine visits.

Positive experience: The only reason for 3 stars is because the assistant took x-rays of the wrong thing I went there to have extracted they took x-rays of two teeth that had nothing to do after the reason why I was there and I had told them the reason why I was there and the assistant even touch the gum spur but yet took x-rays of tooth that had nothing to do with the issue so when the dentist came in she was telling me that my problem was somewhere else other than where it really was and that made me question her ability and professionalism and what she is doing. If the Lord has not spoken to the heart of the assistant I would have been losing two teeth and charged probably over $600 so think about this for a minute. When the assistant told the dentist of the gum spur the dentist acted really surprised it took her not even 5 minutes to remove it.

Fantastic experience: My father has been going to this office for decades. Now at age 100, Dr. Splett and his dental hygienist, Courtney, treat him with loving care. Each visit, they clean and adjust his partial, and they check his remaining teeth as well as his broken ones for decay and infection. They are very patient with his needs and thorough with their care. Staff at the front desk know and welcome him attentively. There’s a very positive atmosphere all around. I recommend these folks wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience: I went in for an exam due to teeth sensitivity and needed 5 fillings. I was fortunate to get an appointment with Dr. Elovich the next day. It's been years since I've gone to the dentist due to being traumatized by a childhood dentist but Dr. Elovich and her team made me feel very safe and assured. She answered all my questions and made it as painless as possible during the procedure. The front desk staffs were also welcoming too and I'd recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Recently, I had a change in health insurance. I selected Maplewood Dental Associates and have no regrets! My first visit as a new patient was comfortable. The LDA and dentist explained the procedure to me and why multiple xrays/exams were needed. We discussed different options that I may be interested in, such as Invisalign and teeth whitening. We were able to set up my consultations for both. There was an opening for my dental cleaning the next day and it was the same sense of comfortability. The dental hygienist was very clear on what she was doing. She suggested a procedure to straighten the edge of my teeth, which my previous dental clinic never suggested. I loved my experience and hope to continue receiving dental care from Maplewood Dental Associates!
