After being at our previous dentist for over 25 years, whom we loved, and who knew us well, we were looking for a similar environment. Everyone is friendly, kind, warm and professional. My dental cleanings have been periodontal maintenance for over 10 years. Since starting with Michelle 4 years ago, my oral health has improved dramatically. Fantastic experience: The dentist and support staff did an outstanding job replacing 2 old crowns and repairing 2 chipped front teeth. The technology they have for creating the new crowns is really amazing. I go here for routine periodic cleaning and inspection. The staff have inspired me to step up my game at home for oral hygiene by flossing and brushing often.

Negative experience: My story is the same as the other one star reviews. We were quoted a price, $280. After the appointment, without any conversation or permission for anything, my total was $494. Their reason is because they did some extra cleaning. Please be aware before proceeding here.

I recently had a smile makeover, and totally did a dental reconstruction of my whole mouth. I was so nervous going into it! I had second thoughts, third thoughts…all the way up until my first appointment. But I’m so glad I did it! I was afraid to have my picture taken because of how bad my teeth looked, and I’m not old enough for that yet. People actually look at me when they talk to me now! I love my new smile! Fantastic experience: I met Dr Erin in 2008 in a networking group. At the time I had not been to a dentist in 16 years. I had extreme anxiety. After several years of gentle coaxing, she finally talked me into coming in. Over the next few years they got my oral health in top shape. After going through COVID era with braces on, I finally finished 5 years of failed ortho with a slightly crooked smile and a couple broken teeth up front and multiple crowns needing done that would need repair. Enter Dr Kelly Harness the miracle worker. The Kelly and Kelly team(these ladies have had me in the chair alot lol) worked and rebuilt my smile which I have never been ashamed of but now it looks incredible! She worked around my calendar as an avid archery elk hunter where I refused to touch my mouth until after the elk calling season of September. Today is valentines day and I love my smile so much ❤️. It is so much more perfect than what God gave me. My teeth feel great and I owe it all to this team here at Post Falls family dental. If you are considering veneers or crowns, it takes an artist and that artist is Dr Kelly Harness.

Fantastic experience: I am SO pleased with Dr. Lynn and the staff at this office!! Dr. Lynn replaced a cap on one of my front teeth and the work was so seamless you can’t even tell there’s a cap anymore. I could feel and see the transition with the original cap that my former dentist put on. And Dr. Lynn even repaired a couple other little areas of my front teeth while he was replacing the cap and they look so good! I don’t have dental insurance and thought the charges were very fair and reasonable. Dr Lynn and his staff are all such pleasant people. This is the first time I’ve ever looked forward to going to a dentist! I highly recommend this dental office!! You won’t be disappointed!

My new found friend Ashley and Dr Sharp were absolutely amazing to hang out with for my morning of a tooth extraction as well as an upper crown. They had me laughing so much I felt like I was in a room with my friends instead of stuck on a chair getting my brains numbed up! I’m 46 yrs old and I have had a lot of dental work done from implants to surgeries etc. this was my favorite experience ever!!! Fantastic experience: Listen, the dentist has ALWAYS been a point of contention for me but PFFD is AMAZINGGGG!!! They take such good care of you; everyone is so funny and nice! They fixed issues for me that my last dentist said weren’t possible to mend ❤️ Love them!!!

Negative experience: Talk about disappointed. 1st appointment went great, nurses were great Doctor was great. I schedule may15th to get work done, they call me the 6th and say they have opening at 3pm. I have an extremely demanding job which makes taking time off during the day virtually impossible, but I scheduled 30 minute for travel and 2 hour for appointment. I get there at 2:57 pm and use restroom and back at 2:59 pm. I proceed to ask if they were running on time in which they assured me they were on schedule. I waited until 3:10 pm then ask if there was an issue since my appointment was at 3pm. They then said an emergency came up did I want ro reschedule, I asked for my may 15th date back, they said it had been filled did I want to make a later appointment. I said no, talk to doctor abd get it straightened out and call me or I can find a new place to go. 3pm. Means 3pm. If I showed up at 3:30 for my appointment that wouldn't be right would it? I lost 45 minutes of time today and my time is very important, way more than money. Time. I hope that they can correct this situation.

Fantastic experience: I love PFFD! Andra the myofuctional therapist is so knowledgeable and fun! She is helping my son, and I learn all the tongue exercises so we can breathe through our mouths and sleep better! Dr Elliott and Ashley were so compassionate during our tongue frenectomy procedures. I was nervous for myself and my son, but they made me feel so calm and taken care of. Thank you all so much!!

Fantastic experience: Anyone that ‘loves’ going to the dentist should be screened for mental conditions, but with that said, if I need dental work done like I did yesterday, I really enjoy going to Post Falls Family Dental Center. I had an unscheduled visit yesterday due to some pain. I can’t speak highly enough of all the staff I have encountered at this office from the front desk to the diagnosis/treatment staff. Everyone is always so friendly and professional. Dr. Lynn, who is my primary, was not in so I was treated by Dr. Harness who was assisted by Michell. Given the circumstances, I can’t think of how it could have been any better. While I can’t say that I ‘love’ going to the dentist, when I do have to go at least I can look forward to some friendly faces.

Fantastic experience: My almost 4 year old has struggled with restless sleep beyond infancy. I knew she wouldn’t outgrow this so we took her to our trusted family dentist for their sleep experts. Lo and behold my daughter has many symptoms that could later become sleep issues. We decided to start their early start program which includes mouth guards to sleep in with frequent visits to monitor her mouth development. I wasn’t sure how this would go over with such a tiny human but with how Tiffany (sleep specialist) presents it in such a fun and comfortable way my daughter was wearing it through the night within 2 weeks and loves it. She not only doesn’t snore anymore but she wakes up a different child, happy, rested, alert and all the energy a toddler should have. We’re only in the beginning of our journey but we look forward to preventing long term issues with addressing this while her little body is still growing. Initial symptoms included: night terrors, mouth breathing, snoring, crankiness upon waking, frequent soaking the bed, lots of nighttime movement, never fully rested.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist office. I had a cracked tooth and needed a crown. The office fit me in a cancelled spot that opened up as I am leaving town soon. I let the dentist and hygienists know I was anxious about the appt. Dr Lynn and the team were understanding and so good at their jobs. No pain and any discomfort was minimal. The hi tech 3D imaging equipment created an amazing image of my tooth. They then created the crown in house while I waited in the chair. It was adjusted slightly and installed. I was out of the office before I knew it. I can’t recommend this office highly enough.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best dentist office in north Idaho. At post falls family dental, they treat you like family. Everyone there genuinely cares about you and makes you look forward to going to the dentist. They are good at what they do and use up-to-date practices that don't make your teeth hurt. I love Julie who's the orthodontist and Erin the dentist. Everyone there is amazing!

Fantastic experience: Over a period of about 30 years I have had four dentists tell me I needed to get some dental work done. The problem was they varied in their proposed solutions. One of them told me he could do the work, but it was questionable if it would work. It got to the point where I would needed to have something done. Dr. Harness had a model done and it looked like it would work. From what I saw in the model it looked like it would work and I was confident she was the best dentist I have ever had who could do it. She is obviously a dentist who pays great attention to detail and wants to do her very best work. The work I had done was detailed and rather extensive but she made it a pleasure. It is a pleasure to be able to trust such a person of integrity and skill. Ang, the dental assistant worked together with Dr. Harness very well. It was as though they had worked together for many years. I have been in Post Family Dental for other reason and felt I have always gotten the best care by skilled people who are a pleasure. It is obvious that dental office has excellent leadership and hires excellent people who enjoy their job. I have never liked to have dental work done but the people there make such a difference. They truly provide skilled excellent service to the people. I would consider it the best dental office I have been to.

Fantastic experience: I had been awake all night with terrible tooth pain. I needed to be seen somewhere right away and have the tooth extracted and I didn’t have a regular dentist of my own. By chance I called PFFD. Everyone from the person who picked up the phone, right on through to the assistant, dentist, and the front desk to check out were kind, compassionate, helpful and knowledgeable. Turned out I needed two teeth out! And that back one with the abscess and curled root was a real buggar. But Doc kept me as comfortable as possible and used his training and strength to get it done! I can’t say enough about this group. They went above and beyond and never made me feel like the imposition I obviously was, not having an appointment or even being a patient of theirs! Well, I am a patient there now! Going back for my cleaning soon. Definitely a 5 star dental group ❤️

Fantastic experience: I originally chose Post Falls Family Dental because it was the closest location my insurance would take. Now I choose to drive from Spokane to Post Falls because the level of care goes above and beyond each time from all staff.

Negative experience: Deceptive billing practices earns them a 2.5 star rating. I give the dentist and dental assistants 5 stars for their great work, but have to give 1 star to the billing and office manager for deceptive and borderline fraudulent billing practices.

They were doing g a procedure on another patient. Dr. Harness stayed late not only started the procedure, but she also finished the root canal. She and her assistant, Julie, GA e me the most pain free experience, they told me everything they were doing and kept asking me if I was okay! This was a Friday and they gave up their time to help me. I didn't feel like they were rushing me and when they were done they thanked ME!! I am so I indebted and to them!
