Fantastic experience: Came in for a teeth cleaning. Appt was on time. Sabrina was personable and gentle in her teeth cleaning.

Positive experience: I was a little concerned about out of pocket expense. One person told me that the balance would come out of my medicare $1500 yearly. and then up at checkout I was told to pay up front. I was confused and didn't understand. The procedure went quick with no pain after removing 3 teeth, very good.

Fantastic experience: Update. I have been a patient for over eight years. I am comfortable with this team. They are excellent, friendly and caring. I don't like dental procedures and they encourage me and work with my fears. The best.

I’m not a fan of going to the dentist but I am a fan of having teeth, so I do what I have to do, but these guys and gals make it a pleasant experience. Every staff member is friendly, they are thoughtful. I feel like they know me and actually have my comfort and care at the top of their priority list. It’s a cheerful environment and I trust them with my dental health and with my family’s. Two thumbs up and five stars all day long.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Liberty Lake Smile Source for four years. Dr Tim Casey and Dr Brian McCall are excellent as are their dental assistants, Mariesa, Heather, and Bindu. I greatly appreciated the details they provided on my teeth and their recommendations. I really felt they respected my input and final decisions were left to me. After my checkup on July 14, 2025, I went to pay and schedule my next visit. I was told my Delta Dental insurance would normally cover 80% of my costs, but because Smile Source scheduled me one day shy of six months I had to pay the entire $206. Initially, I was given condolences, but nothing more. That’s about $150 out of pocket that I had not expected to pay. I asked if I might appeal, but was told firmly I could not. A few days later Shelby called from Smile Source and apologized for the situation and said they would cover the amount my insurance would have paid. I received the check today for $146.04. I am very grateful Smile Source decided to do this. It was the key for my remaining their patient. As mentioned above the dentists, dental hygienists, and assistants have been excellent. Fantastic experience: My first visit was 10/21/25 and it was an outstanding experience. I had to find a new dentist in the Valley area because my former dentist closed unexpectedly (I heard he died). Smile Source was friendly and welcoming from my first call. My hygienist Adam was professional, friendly, and gentle. Dr. MacCall was also warm and personable. The thoroughness and level of care I experienced was miles ahead of my former dentist. And they have a TV on the ceiling to distract you!

Fantastic experience: Dr Casey is not only a dentist, he, and his entire staff treat you like family when you are in their office. Everything is always well communicated and explained thoroughly. I have never had any billing issues or any other concerns or complaints of any nature. The first time I saw Dr Casey it was an emergency and even though I was not even a patient at the time, he came in early to treat me. I will be a patient for life. Dr. Macall and Dr. Fortner are great additions to the team. Both of them are a perfect match with Dr. Casey's business model. He really has built something special here. Ann is the new hygienist and she along with Mariesa and Adam are awesome as well. You just can't go wrong. I simply cannot recommend this office highly enough. You will not find better dental care anywhere.

Negative experience: I recently moved from out of state, where I had been seeing a very reputable dentist every six months for years without any issues. After settling in, I searched for a new dentist and chose Smile Source based on their excellent reviews. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those ratings. During my visit with Dr. Fortner, I was told I needed four crowns. This came as a complete surprise—my previous dentist had never mentioned anything of the sort. Over the past four years, the only concern ever raised was with one tooth that had thin walls and was simply being monitored. What I expected to be a routine check-up quickly turned into a recommendation for extensive and expensive dental work. Dr. Fortner's explanation for the crowns was vague, and the urgency he conveyed felt off-putting. After he left, the dental hygienist seemed to backtrack a bit, suggesting that two of the crowns could probably wait a year or two, while the other two should be addressed sooner. Concerned by the sudden diagnosis, I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist in the area. He confirmed that only one tooth would need a crown—but even that wasn’t urgent and could wait at least six months if I preferred. Since then, I've heard from others who had similar experiences with Dr. Fortner—being told they needed significant dental work.

Fantastic experience: Just had my wisdom teeth out this morning. I was terrified since I hadn’t had an IV, sedation, nor any real mouth surgery before. Staff was sympathetic, and I went home within an hour of starting surgery. IV didn’t hurt, and while I don’t clearly remember everything, it just felt like time sped up a little. No real pain. Thanks doctor Fortner and the team!

Fantastic experience: The dentists at Smile Source are professional and friendly, but the real star of my visits is my hygienist, Anne, who on my first visit made some suggestions for improvement in my oral health. I followed the suggestions and have experienced noticeable improvement over the course of time. The office is bright, clean and welcoming. There is a TV above the chair playing fun animal videos to help distract if necessary - over the course of my visits I didn't see any clip more than once. I recommend Smile Source!

Fantastic experience: I recently had a dental crown done on one of my teeth. I hadn’t had one before so I didn’t know what expect. Savannah explained the details of every step of the procedure. The temp crown fit perfectly and two weeks later I was back getting the final crown, again it fit perfectly. When you are checking in for your appointment you are greeted promptly, the friendliness and efficiency starts there and it is carried over with your interaction with the billing department, doctors, hygienists and dental assistants. Fantastic experience: I just started going here, and I am so impressed. Everyone is very friendly, the customer service is incredible, the facility is beautiful and clean, and the equipment is high tech. I was provided with a fuzzy blanket and cute cat videos in a screen above while I was in the chair. I actually had a great time and even found myself laughing… at the dentist! (That’s a first) My hygienist, Adam, was so helpful and kind. He took the typical X-rays as well as several high quality photos of my teeth. I have never seen pictures of my teeth like this before! It was amazing to get a glimpse at what the dentist sees and to be in an environment that promotes learning and asking questions. Dr. Macall went above and beyond when he fixed my bad filling. He was very generous with his time and I felt genuinely listened to and taken care of. Patty at the front desk was an absolute doll.
