Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here since the Davidson‘s were the main owners. I was a it nervous when the sold the practice, however I’ve been super happy with the new owners. I brought my kids over from a pediatric dentist and have been super happy with the care that me and my kids have received. They’re always honest, they always do a great job, and they always listen to my concerns. They are making dentistry for the patient.

Fantastic experience: Doctor jack was a blessing to me. Took care of my xrays and helped me get to the root of the problem with my teeth. Was a kind doctor who truly cares about the health of his patients. And kelsey was an amazing worker aswell. She was the kindest! Ive always had anxiety at the dentist but she calmed my nerves and kept my mind occupied with the warmest of welcomes and great conversation! Staff was so respectful and helped me get in as soon as possible. They all are amazing. Nothing but a perfect experience there. Thank you for the kindness you have shown me. Its truly made my day. I cant afford much lately but to find out atleast what is causing pain has helped me tremendously and will forever be greatful to doctor jack.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jack kindly saw me for two areas in my mouth that appeared to be a problem. He took a look at the problem areas and assured me that it was not a serious problem. If I lived up here year round, I would switch my dental care to this practice. The dental assistant and front office staff ladies were very friendly and nice.

Fantastic experience: This dental clinic is absolutely fantastic. I called early in the morning because my crown had fallen off. Even though they were quite busy, and already booked up, they got me in by 12. It was determined I would need a new crown. Since they were able to do the process start to finish in their office, I walked out a couple hours later with my new crown. The whole process was painless and everyone involved couldn't have been nicer. Special things to Dr. Jack, Dr. Matt and dental assistant Jen. Since we're new to North Idaho, My wife and I have found our new dental clinic! I really highly recommend the Idaho family dental Center!!!

Fantastic experience: My dental insurance changed so I needed to find a new dentist office to visit. Let me tell you it was so easy to set an appointment up. Had amazing help at the front desk and was getting worked on in less than 10 minutes. The dentist came in and went over everything and didn’t over complicate it. Also the front desk double checked my insurance to make sure what was covered and what was not and was very transparent and helpful. I will be using and referring them non stop!!

We were going to be in Coeur d’Alene Idaho for a few days so we checked with Idaho Family Dental Center and they were able to get us in. The whole office team was fantastic and Dr. Matt and his assistant Kelsey were so helpful, courteous and professional. There office are all up the date with the new Technology. He Looked at my wife’s tooth and said that the best outcome would be for a crown and we could have it done within an hour. We walked in at 9 AM and walked out at 12 PM with all the exam, x-rays, crown prep and crown out the door. It was a great experience. So if you are living in the area or just traveling thru I highly recommend Idaho Family Dental Center.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jordan and his dental assistant were so great. I got step by step "this is what's going to happen" plus a reminder to breathe once even which really put me at ease throughout my crown procedure. It was incredible experience getting a crown replaced in one sitting, and to watch my crown being made to a perfect fit through the use of laser measuring technology. Such technological advancement is amazing and because of the advancements and tools, I did not have to get a temporary crown, return to get the permanent crown placed and have to go through the entire process twice.

Negative experience: Dentist was professional but I just didn’t like the atmosphere. Very loud, lots of noise very early in the morning and I don’t really enjoy going to the dentist in the first place and the noise didn’t help me relax

Fantastic experience: 01-28-26 Update . . . went back today so Dr. Jordan could replace an old crown that had failed. The shot was pretty painless, which I don't believe I have ever said. They were quick, explained every step, and my mouth feels great. The Crown was made on site and they even let me watch as it was being built. Pretty fascinating process, and do not miss the temporaries! Amber the Assistant took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Great conversations with Mandy, as always. Thanks to everyone at the office, as always you were great. Highly recommend. Idaho Family Dental is professional, friendly, trustworthy, & I finally found my new Dentist! Front staff is great and very welcoming. Kristina was very thorough in my cleaning and easy to chat with - when you can :-). Dr. Jordan was patient with all of my questions and I truly feel that he was very honest. No one pushes you to get treatments you do not need. Looking forward to a long relationship. Really knows what he’s doing and keeps your time in mind which I think is very nice. He’s knowledgable and Create great care plans and is not at all pushy with what he recommends. You don’t find a dentist like this very often. Highly recommend visiting for your next dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I had received new Dental Insurance, not sure what my coverage was so I asked Mandy at the front desk she was very good at explaining what was covered and how often. The gal that did my cleaning I believe it was Makayla she was outstanding, I think I fell asleep while she was cleaning. Both were very professional and very caring.

Fantastic experience: 5 Stars! I've been a patient of this dental practice since 1992. It's the people that make a medical practice function, and these people are the best. Over the years, the tech has evolved and the procedures have refined. Incredibly, today I spent two hours getting a molar crown and I got to watch the crown being created using computer data and robotics. Yes - the tech is amazing, but for me, it's the personal connections: it's just the best to feel valued as a person and be able to laugh and converse with your treatment providers in a potentially anxious situation. I highly recommend these professionals.

Fantastic experience: I am the kind of person that has had serious trauma around going to the dentist. I shake and cry and that's even before the dentist has touched my mouth! The staff here at Idaho Family Dental are wonderful. They are very caring and very gentle. They told me funny stories to take my mind off the treatment and walked me through everything they were doing so that I knew what to expect. There were lots of smiles and empathy and I can't thank them enough for their kindness. If you are scared to go to the dentist, give this dental center a try. I am so grateful I found them.

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist and even a general cleaning causes me to sweat and leave the back of my shirt soaked from nervous perspiration. Not the case here. I was experiencing significant tooth pain and the entire staff is very kind, attentive and empathetic and made my visit very comfortable. Dr. Jack is a great listener, is clearly very intelligent and knowledgeable. He was very patient and very clearly presented his findings and advice going forward. Karen and Mandy are both very kind and welcoming and Kelsey was also very knowledgeable, patient and kind. Very nice and comfortable office as with very modern equipment including the Cone 3D (CBCT) scan. Highly recommended. Thank you for the kind help and care.

So positive and educated me on how to keep my teeth healthy. I've never felt more comfortable going to the dentist. They took the time to explain every detail. Both my doctor & Alicia my dental hygienist is super great. I can tell they care about my health. The dentist explained everything in a way that made sense. Grateful for their care to their patients. Love their patient/family waiting lobby & how they sectioned it & spaced them & free drinks too & adorable space for kids to play while in waiting area. The quality of care is outstanding . They care about doing the job right. They're honest about what I need without pushing unnecessary treatments. That means a lot.

I’ve always wanted straight front teeth and they are finally done. This is the best birthday gift to myself ever! Dr. Matt and Jenn were so good making me comfortable, in no pain and if I was doing ok. Love these folks. It’s a good day for a good day!

Positive experience: The entire staff here are awesome! They are super talented people that are experts at what they do. They truly care about doing a good job and it shows! From the front desk, to the hygienist, to the assistants, to the dentists, they are true professionals! I just wish the management would invest in a little bit better technology for scheduling appointments and for payments. It’s also a very slow process to actually get billed for what you owe after insurance, etc. There is room for innovation, otherwise everything else is 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: It's hard to find a new dentist that you'll like when you move to a new area! Fortunately, I did! I had a broken molar and needed a new crown right away and they got me in very quickly. I couldn't have been more pleased with how I was treated by everyone in the office.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Idaho Family Dental Center because every staff person I have encountered has been especially friendly while maintaining professionalism and getting the job done. Dr. Z created my new smile over 10 years ago. Recently, I began to notice some slight changes in it, so I asked him to take a look. He fixed it all up and my smile is beautiful again!

Negative experience: I was told they accepted my insurance but only to find out after service and being billed they are not in my insurance’s network therefore leaving me to pay a hefty fee on a limited income. I should have been informed when asking if they accepted my insurance that they were not in my insurance’s network and I would have gone elsewhere, this has not happened to me before. They take know accountability.

Fantastic experience: I love the doctors and staff at my neighborhood dental clinic. The name change (from Davidson Dental) confused me at first, but I am glad that Drs. Kirk and Rachel found such qualified people so that they can spend more time with their family. The front office staff is still as helpful as ever, as are the hygienists and Drs. Matt and Jordan. I enjoyed my exam, as we discussed what's going on with "These Old Teeth" and I left with encouragement to try an electric toothbrush, so I asked my hygienist's advice, and picked up a Philips SoniCare toothbrush to read the manual and started working with it that evening. I since found hydroxyapatite tooth powder, pastes, and mouth rinse (removing fluoride from my system) for improving health. August 2024, Dr. Matt explained that it was "Crown Tuesday" with three dentists and more hygienists and staff working, as my only cavity's silver filling (I told them to keep the 'black sand' indicator gold miners looked for as that oxide remaining had been incorporated in the tooth.) was removed. Fun morning as everybody was laughing in the back lab, and I enjoyed watching my new crown shaped in the CNC mill, then a short wait for oven curing, a snap fit with a little cement, and I was out to the waiting room to pick up my jacket. I've spent more time in Quick-Lube places, and not had nearly as much fun. July 2025 - I met Dr. Jack while working with Mikayla, always a great experience, just the annual lead chest protector for photos before cleaning and a little pick scratching. Dr. Jack's exam was a great conversation about our teeth (mine better than his, but I have hope for him, too.) since I completed my 70th year on earth a couple weeks ago.
