Fantastic experience: Dr. Eric Soper and his team Were absolutely a dream! The patience and kindness they showed my son was such a breath of fresh air they took the time to explain things to not only me, but my young son(6). They also scheduled us so quickly for a new patient and f/u appointment was also made w/in the week?! We will never go anywhere else! Thank you Pediatric dental center-Burlington ❤️

Fantastic experience: Best dentist in town. Always greeted with a friendly smile, very clean, and they are great at staying on schedule helping to get us in and out.

Negative experience: They cancelled and rescheduled my son's appt multiple times since the end of last year. Finally had another appt for next week and they just called and cancelled again saying he is graduated out of their system since last year. Why would you keep canceling and scheduling appts if he was graduated? I could have had over 6 months to find a dentist for him but now I have to start fresh and who knows when he will be seen. Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: Spoke with receptionist over the phone to find out what their prices are to find a more affordable dentist than Union Pediatric. They said, they cannot tell any prices over the phone as I wanted to know what they charge. And she said it's based on insurance. So, what they charge is based on your insurance?? And! They will not tell you any of their prices unless you PAY them to tell you, which is you PAY for a "limited oral evaluation". And she goes, I don't know if you would have to pay anything (for the limited oral evaluation). Don't you love how your insurance paying isn't YOU paying, um, yes, it is because we all PAY for our insurance and how much it costs is based on how much dentists charge on average. Then, she just ends it with, we don't take MetLife.

Fantastic experience: My son had a procedure here and I can't recommend enough, prior to the surgery it felt like his teeth continued to get worse, even with flossing, brushing, and limiting sugar. It's hard to limit snacks at daycare. Walking in, they had a TV with Mickey on, the front desk staff were welcoming and very nice, you can tell they work with kids We were informed during the process that both the doctor and the anesthesiologist came in separately, which makes it easier to ask separate questions for each. During the procedure, we were asked to wait in the waiting room. The nurses made sure to update us throughout, which eased our nerves. After, Dr. Soper came and gave us a review of what happened and who to contact after hours with any questions or concerns. The post-op appointment was scheduled quickly, and everyone was so kind

We have been to both locations over the years and the staff has always been pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. Everything from their very first visit to preventative care to fixing chipped teeth, every experience has been great!

Positive experience: We have gone to Dr Soper since my children were 6m old. Both kids love the dentist and the staff has been great. Office is also very clean and calm.

Fantastic experience: Our first visit here was today. My 3 year old boy was entertained during the whole visit and did well in return. The dental hygienist was amazing! She spoke softly, was very kind and introduced everything to him, making him more comfortable. Will be staying with them.

Fantastic experience: I love this location. Our three daughters range from a 4 years old up to 10 years old. Their level of treatment and care works perfectly with each child. My 4 year old said today after our visit, “I like going there because everyone is so nice to us.” Dr.Soper is always informative and very pleasant to talk to. We have been going here for 9 years and will not be going anywhere else, anytime soon.

Fantastic experience: Love this practice! I went to pediatric dental as a child myself under a different dentist. Our current dentist is always on time with scheduling, the office staff is friendly and accommodating in stressful situations. Communication is clear and there are great follow up reminders.

His bedside manner is elite and he truly cares about the kids! The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars is due to scheduling. I’ll continue to bring my kids here for years to come. Fantastic experience: We love Pediatric Dental Center for our three kids! We’ve been going there for almost ten years since my oldest was 1 year old. They make visits fun for them and it was easy to transition from getting their teeth checked on my lap to them going in by themselves on the big chair.

Also make my child feel comfortable and he has no problem going back with out me and the times I have went back with my child they are gentle and explain what everything is to my child so he’s not scared or nervous.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to this dental office for a few years now. The staff is friendly and prompt and the dentist is very thorough and makes sure you understand everything they are doing. This dentist also does not make you feel shameful when your child has cavities. Great experience so far and my kids love getting a balloon and little prize after each visit!

My son did not cry and loved his experience as well which made me feel at ease since this was his first dentist visit. Fantastic experience: My kids go to Pediatric Dental Center at the Burlington location and I couldn’t be happier with them. I’ve never had a dental office that is better with kiddos and we have tried many in Northern Kentucky. The office is very CLEAN, comforting, and is bright and colorful for the kids. There is a tv in the waiting area and it plays a movie for the families if they do have a wait. The waiting area is large and has plenty of comfortable seating. I personally have not had to wait more than 10 minutes for my child to get called after their scheduled appointment time. The office staff is educated on services provided and estimated cost with or without insurance. They are always so friendly and welcoming. I ALWAYS forget to ask for school/work notes and they have it ready for me and ask each time if I need one. They also ask if you would like to make your appointment for the next needed visit and schedule in advance. Dr. Soper always throughly explains exactly what he did, the status of their dental health and what the next appointment is for (or if they just need another 6 month checkup). He also provides feedback and helpful tips to keep their teeth healthy. He also discusses age appropriate changes with children’s teeth and how to transition the kids to take care of their own dental hygiene as they get older. His assistants are so personable, gentle and kind with the kiddos and give them a balloon to take home each visit. My son has severe separation anxiety and they work with him to ensure he is comfortable and have the ability to provide dental services efficiently. When I became a foster mom, they were able to make her feel welcomed and added her so she could be seen as well. I’m so thankful my kids do not dread going to the dentist anymore. It really was such a struggle to get them to before we started going there.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this office. Dr Soper and the staff are excellent. The first time my daughter had to go back by herself she was very nervous but they calmed her. This time she was nervous but brave and did not cry. I believe it's because they are so great with her.

Fantastic experience: Love pediatric dental center for my boys. Reason why is the staff from front office clerks to the technicians are very pleasant. They all are very sweet, animated when speaking to the kids. All staff is very good with communication and even helping you if you happen to get lost on the way to the office. The staff get on the level of the kids and speak to them making their experience more at ease, fun, and comfortable. The office is tidy, smells clean and or pleasantly scented, and always festive. They always have on a current movie for the kids to watch. The dentist and staff are great when taking care of the kids. I always feel like I trust that my kids will be ok even if I don't go back with them initially. Thank you Pediatric Dental Center.

Positive experience: My kids have been seeing Dr. Soper for the last 8 years. The front staff are always welcoming, Have school notes prepared and are ready to schedule the next appointment. The staff are engaging with the kids and handle their anxiety, ADHD, and other special needs accordingly. The only downfall is sometimes I feel like they are back there a long time. They take the 2 back together but do one at a time which leaves onejust sitting, which with special needs can be difficult. They do always have a movie on which is occupying but to pull them out of school it’s almost 2 hours with travel time and the time spent in office.

Fantastic experience: My boys have been coming here for the last 5+ years. They’re always quick. I do not wait in the lobby long at all. Once they are finished with the boys, as most the time they go back alone, which I love. Gives them independence. They then talk about any concerns or how the appointment went. Their staff in the front are always so welcoming, very polite and responsive when you need them. I love how clean their office is as well, which is a huge plus for me.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! They were really great at educating and teaching me how cavities are formed to help prevent them with my toddler. But they also had so much grace for how troublesome teeth care can be with kids. All staff members greeted us with a smile and the dental hygienist wasn’t bothered by my screaming 2 year old :) They sent him home with a balloon, sticker, and toy and he's already asking to go back! Highly recommend this pediatric dentist!

Fantastic experience: My girls have been going here for a few years now, and we’ve had nothing but positive experiences. Dr. Soper and his staff are incredible with my girls! Very kind, patient, and informative each visit!

Negative experience: Requested to go back with my 5yo after he was hurt by a staff member the previous time. I wanted to make sure he was heard since they ignored him before. Instead of letting me back with him they said they couldn’t see him and told the receptionist to mark my whole family inactive. Since it’s not legal to even do that I’ll be sending a message to the board and really don’t recommend anyone with young children seek care there. It’s one thing to ask older patients to be brave and try out being on their own but you also have to be willing to listen to your patients if you’re going refuse to let a parent be there to advocate for them.

Negative experience: This is by far the worst place I’ve ever taken my kids to. I honestly think they had to have. Had people come on here and fake good reviews for them. They dropped me and my children after missing two visits over a five year span. They was like well this isn’t the first time you’ve missed an appointment with us. It seems you also missed one with us before and I was like yeah four years ago, I couldn’t believe it if I had known they were gonna do my kids like this I never would’ve brought them there to begin with so my kids could get comfortable with them. Oh and their Burlington office was the worst one of all they was rude to me and so unorganized I couldn’t believe it . I literally only left a star because you have to put at least one to post.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE FRONT OFFICE STAFF…GREAT DOCTOR!! While Dr. Soper is good with the kids it simply does not make up for his front office and business staffs’ terrible attitude and customer service. We have 4 young children (4-8 years old) and trying to schedule appointments together was nearly impossible and if my wife or I gave any push back or tried to ask what they can do so that we did not have to bring kids in on back to back days, the ladies always responded with an attitude and derision. It took my wife arguing with them and practically crying on the phone out of frustration to ensure that all the kids could be seen on the same day (that should have been our first red flag). The issue that caused us to leave the practice was that they incorrectly billed our insurance. When I found out I called and was told that it was my “job” to fix the issue. When I asked for an explanation all I was told was that they could not help because it was my insurance, that they only bill the insurance as a courtesy to their patients and that my son’s appointment was canceled until I fixed the issue. Be warned if you have any billing or insurance issues the “courtesy” goes away and you will be on the hook for a large bill out of pocket because they will refuse to help with the issue. After trying kindly for 15 minutes to get an explanation, I became very frustrated by the lack of help, explanation, and lying by the business staff, and had to resort to yelling to get any response (which no customer should have to do when dealing with a business). I said if my son couldn’t come for his appointment then they need to cancel the other 3 appointments. Four days later I received a bill for twice the amount they sent to the insurance company and a short letter saying my family was no longer a patient at the practice (this was obviously done by the front office business manager out of spite toward me). The lack of customer service, compassion, explanation, and disregard for the help and benefit of my children and family was shocking. I CANNOT SAY THIS LOUD ENOUGH, DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO THIS PRACTICE UNTIL THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF ISSUE HAS BEEN ADDRESSED. It is a shame such a good dentist has such a terrible front office staff. Finally, a quick search through the negative reviews all have one thing in common. The front office staff being rude, insensitive, and unhelpful. I am not the only one who has said great dentist and techs. Terrible business staff.
