Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing experience at Richwood Dental!!! Everyone in the entire office is so kind and friendly! My treatment was explained to me! The assistant and Dr Estes are top notch!! If you are looking for a dental office Richwood Dental is the best!! I will be bringing my family!!!

Negative experience: I scheduled a new patient cleaning here and left incredibly disappointed by the transactional, dismissive culture of this office. As a Registered Nurse with over 16 years of Healthcare experience and married to a Physician, I fully understand clinic policies, but I also deeply respect patient autonomy. When I originally booked the appointment, I explicitly asked if they needed my medical records transferred from my previous dentist, but when I arrived, I was told they wouldn't do a cleaning without immediate, new X-rays. Because I have a complex medical history involving recurrent pregnancy loss and am currently in the middle of IVF, I chose to exercise my right to informed refusal for X-rays to protect my cycle. ​In any reputable medical setting, a patient's informed refusal is documented and respected. Here, the dentist completely dismissed my boundaries without even evaluating where I was in my treatment or whether I could currently be pregnant. She simply told her staff to tell me, 'I did IVF too, you're fine.' I was given an ultimatum to get the X-rays or leave, so I walked out. Pressuring patients into radiation without proper screening or triage is a massive clinical red flag, and I am filing a formal complaint with the State Board of Dentistry regarding this provider’s conduct. ​When you look at their overall policies, it’s clear this practice prioritizes high-margin efficiency over individualized patient care. They pass their cost of business onto the patient with a 3% credit card fee and enforce a steep $50–$100 late cancellation trap, yet they show zero flexibility or empathy when a patient has a legitimate medical boundary. ​An office has a right to its guidelines, but a provider does not have the right to minimize a patient's autonomy with a 'well, it worked out for me' attitude. If you are navigating IVF, have a history of pregnancy loss, or simply want a care team that treats you like a patient rather than a transactional line item, look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great gentle service and very caring and friendly. Also, very clean! And they stole money from me...$800÷... and won't return it. I have been asking for over a year now!! They are thieves. For that reason I would never return there. They kept saying..we will talk to our accountant..every time,and no one gets back to me. So,I assume it is common!

Fantastic experience: I had to have teeth extracted. I was nervous, since I was a new patient. Dr. Lincoln explained every step. Took great care of me. I had no pain during the extractions. All the girls take care to explain every aspect of treatment. I was definitely made to feel comfortable while I was there. I'm very happy with Richwood Family Dental !!!

Negative experience: I had problems from the beginning when I went to Richwood Family Dentist. The dental hygienist was awesome. The dentist named Tyler Lincoln was not just verbally abusive but after having problems with there billing person named Donna but also at the last visit he threatened me with I won’t give your appliance if you say one more word about what happened. He also never let me explain what took place with Donna the billing person and myself. I did apologize for my reaction to there cost that they gave me and I got upset with. To this day I never received an itemized Bill. They then told me and sent a letter to me abandoning me as a client. I’m over 70 years of age and I will tell you ask Donna for an itemized invoice so you can figure out how they price there services. Good luck with Donna and Tyler Lincoln.

Fantastic experience: I went in because I was having a lot of pain after a wisdom tooth removal and my usual dentist couldn’t get me in to see what was wrong. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly, which was a great first impression. Dr. Estes and her team explained what was happening in detail to help me understand why I was in so much pain, and then they treated me appropriately to relieve said pain. You can tell that the team is managed very well for everything to go as smoothly and quickly as it did. I am so grateful that they got me in so quickly before the holidays!

She was very helpful with tips on flossing and brushing and using the water pik. Also had a positive interaction and experience with Dr. Estes. Negative experience: Horrible customer service! They do not work with you. I had cleaning schedule for the entire family 6 months in the future. When we were one month away we had an unexpected out of state family event. I asked if we could come in earlier or a week after the originally scheduled date. Was told next available date was now 6 months in the future. It seems there’s no room in their schedule for customers. Also, I don’t remember them returning my voicemails.

Fantastic experience: I've had the worst luck with dentists... so many don't seem to take concerns seriously, or are constantly trying to sell you something extra you dont need and your insurance won't cover (Invisalign, anyone??) - not this one! The staff at Richwood Family Dental is top-notch, and Dr. Estes is the best dentist I've ever had, hands down! If you need a dentist you can trust, look no further.

They were also very quick with setting up a follow up appointment and making sure that it’s not too fair out. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

From the call for the appointment to the hygienist (Jessica) to Dr. Estes it was 5 stars from top to bottom. The appointment was thorough and everything was explained to me and the best part was I wasn't given the run around and suggested extra procedures.

Fantastic experience: I went today thinking I’d have to get an extraction however Dr. Estes and Jody I believe that was her name fixed my fill in and for the first time in years I feel confident and comfortable. May I also say this was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had going into see the dentist.
