Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Grosso for years and he has taken care of my teeth with knowledge and understanding. He is a family man so his mannerisms portray gentleness and kindness. His staff reflect the same attributes. They greet you with a smile and put you at ease immediately. I have no doubt in the professionalism of this practice. They know what they are doing. Well another 2 hours at Dr. Grosso’s office yesterday with a sore side and back. Can’t begin to tell you how the staff treated me. So caring and their kindness goes a long way. I have put off this bridge for some time and I am finally glad I started the work. Just a wonderful place to have your dental procedure done. Thanks guys! Still working on my teeth and once again the staff was super wonderful. I can’t asf for a better dentist. Here I am with another visit to my dentist and I had a new person clean my teeth. Mary Catherine was very gentle and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Kate came in and I was able to address some other issues to her. She is the sweetest person this side of heaven and my questions were food for thought. Ok another visit with Dr. Kate. I was skeptical regarding the idea of getting Invisalign but sitting with Dr. Kate I felt completely at ease. I was in their new office which is lovely by the way. The Grosse’s are family oriented so of course you will feel the warmth in the room. No need really to go any place else. Well I am almost done with my Invisilalign. Today I had a thorough cleaning and gum check and my latest set of liners. I have been working with Dr. Kate throughout and boy she definitely knows her stuff. Just a very good dentist and has the answers you need . I just love her. Give the office a try because everyone else is just as sweet. Today was an emergency visit with Dr. Frank as I was having some upper tooth pain. However the tooth that I thought it was…oh no it was the one next to it. Because we are leaving tomorrow for a family reunion I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to be in pain. And the one in question is BAD! Dr. Frank totally explained everything so I could understand it looking ant the x-ray. And he put a temporary filling in to keep me going. How wonderful is that! You just can’t find better dental doctors in the area in my book. Well here I am writing again after a fun reunion without any pain. Now starts the root canal. So 2 1/2 hours in the chair turned out to be quite fun. I asked for country music and I was given sun glasses. It was a long process but Dr. Frank kept at it to find my roots. I have never had an issue with the hygienists or the Grosso Dentists. Just a super place to have your dentistry done! Today was my annual cleaning and I had a new hygienist. She was so thorough and did an excellent job. I asked her to explain the imaging procedure which she did. I told her my issues to discuss with Dr. Kate and she listened. When Dr. Kate came in she answered every question I had with some new advice. Another great visit!

Negative experience: UPDATE: My new dentist just confirmed that Grosso lied about nonexistent cavities. Grosso won't even respond to me or this review. The most CREEPY and DISTURBING dentist office in Maryland where they log your exact word for word verbal responses and facial reactions in their notes while you're in the chair. After leaving this office, I requested multiple times and eventually received their notes on my recent visit which included weird contextless entries unrelated to my procedure that described me rolling my eyes at them and reportedly cutting off the dentist when she was talking. Other unflattering notes captured by them are just as odd, such as my exact word for word verbal responses to the pain of full mouth scans. Another entry regarding my displeasure of a single cavity turning into two (at 2x the expense) described my exact response in detail where I said "of course there's a 2nd cavity, I'll just reach deeper into my wallet". I am not sure how or why they are writing down my exact verbal responses in their notes. Very creepy. Are they recording everyone? Why are so many of my verbal responses to their questions written down, as I lay there with someone else's hands in my mouth and limited time to speak between drilling? The reason we left Grosso is due to multiple events that just didn't add up for the four members of my family. For me, I was told I had one cavity and when showing up for my next visit, it ballooned to three cavities. Grosso won't ever give you anything in writing after your visit or during your next appointment reminder regarding the details of any work that has or will be performed, so they couldn't prove they told me "three cavities". Nothing in writing unless you ask two or three times. My wife also complained of an odd procedure that was recommended for my daughter that made us shake our heads. After paying $476.00 for one cavity that turned into two and then being told six months later about one more cavity that turned into three, my entire family does not feel Grosso is honest and we cannot trust them. To further support my claims, when asking for supporting evidence of my three cavities, Grosso ignored my initial request. It took two more requests for them to eventually provide their notes and accurate images. The final cherry on top was my discovery that they claimed, in writing, that I had bitewings performed during a recent visit when I did not. After requesting images of these bitewings, they altered my 9/2024 vist notes to remove the bitewing line entry. I feel that Grosso will always find something wrong in order to keep you coming back for more and more work. And now they give my entire family that "ick" feeling as they log everything you say in their notes.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Grosso Family Dentistry! After having had a previous bad experience and extreme anxiety, my visit with Dr. Frank was comfortable and painless. He eased all my fears with clear communication and his calm demeanor. The office was beautiful and clean and the staff was super friendly. It was the BEST dental experience I’ve ever had.

They get you in quickly! Emergency during closed hours? They give you cell numbers to call/text. I am always pleased with my cleanings and “problem” solutions. Fantastic experience: New-ish to the area and selected Grosso for my family. Had our first visit today with Dr. Ben and saw a few different hygienists between myself and my kiddos - everyone was great. It's important to me that my kids (12 and 13) have positive experiences at the dentist, which we haven't always had, and everyone was satisfied and even had good time there, because everyone was so pleasant. They were also gentle and kind and straight-forward. Glad we chose these guys.

Fantastic experience: Wow, I knew I liked this practice, but it’s when you have a dental emergency that it really counts to have a dentist you can count on. I called, in pain, on a Thursday & they fit me in on Monday, working through their lunch break. Fantastic experience: They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My 14 year old has a baby tooth that hasn't fallen out yet. Our previous dentist said they needed an extraction and braces to get the new tooth into position. Dr. Ben told them to take 6 months to wiggle the tooth out and then we'd see how the new one grows in before we make any big plans. My kid is looking forward to their nest appt.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr Frank for being a true miracle worker and old school/modern methods artisan dentist. For everyone else reading this - after 20+ years service my front insicor crown #7 finally broke off in a way that seemed mortal. I was originally diagnosed in Florida as being a hopeless basket case who's ONLY option to save my smile was another 4-6 month implant journey with all that that entails - please don't believe it's painless and as simple as they tell you on TV every night! I visited Dr Frank simply because I ran into him on an airplane one day. Within a few moments of meeting him it was clear to me he is one of the most caring and compasation dental professionals you could ever meet - perhaps it was devine fate meeting him on a day I had no reason to be on that plane or that particular flight. Eitherway I followed up by going to see Dr Frank all the way from Florida to his family dental surgery in Eldersburg, MD. The journey was a remarkable day. Seeing him again, being welcomed into his practice and being treated by him and his daughter (also a dentist there) was a privilege and moment of clarity. There are true dental miracle workers left in the world. This IS NOT a typical dental office where you hear the usual "ums, and arghs" or worse, just a pause and silence from your dentist leaning into your mouth, then only to be broken with bad news and a referral slip to go start the process again elsewhere with a maxillofacial surgeon. Oh gosh no! Dr Frank and Katie really did do their ABSOLUTE best to save my world and smile without that nuclear implant option. Everything was explained like I've never had before elsewhere. So pleased and blessed to have met such a wonderful person and dentist on my journey through life. Thank you to whoever, or whatever, brought Dr Frank and his family into my life. I have lived long enough, and had enough dental visits to know there can never be any 100% guarantee with a dental outcome. However, you can only hope that the skill and professional endeavors or your practitioner are the best they can provide and within your reach. In my case that is exactly what I received, and no one could ask for anything more. Thank you Dr Frank and Dr Katie for all your help. God bless both of you and the skill, dedication and patience you invest in your patient's outcome. I could not be happier I came to see you, and that you saved my smile without rushing into another long and arduous implant journey!

Fantastic experience: It was great to see Frank and have him clean and take care of my teeth. He told me I needed a crown, but overall my teeth were looking good. He told me not to use dental floss any more, but instead to use GUM soft picks. I will do that from now on. As always, it was a good visit. Katie and Frank are a great team and very encouraging and supportive.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Grosso Family Dentistry for almost 3 years, after a rough break up with my old dentists. I had developed dentist anxiety and had begun dreading the dentist, but moving to Grosso was the best decision. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming, from the front desk to the back of the office, and everyone in between. They are kind, thorough, and informative. There is a real sense of team and family in the office, including the patients. I left today with a smile on my face, thinking about how glad I am that I made the decision to start coming here. Instead, I was impressed with Dr. Ben with how comprehensive and thorough his exam was. Never have I experienced such a high level of professional competence and breadth of knowledge by the dentists and other professionals here. Grosso Family Dentistry is truly a one stop shop when it comes to my dental needs. I have had several situations involving complex dental needs involving surgery (and other issues), and Dr. Frank and Dr. Katie addressed them in the office. They did not refer me to some ‘specialist’— they are experts in their field. All the professionals in this practice are sensitive to my needs, and I would not hesitate to refer one of my family or friends, (even those afraid of dentists), to this practice. If you avoid dental care because of fear, this is your place.

Fantastic experience: My experience was very good. As a new patient I had multiple questions for the dentist and he and his assistant took the time to answer each and everyone. My anxiety level was minimized. The experience was great all the way from the appointment set up with Carol through the examination itself.
