Negative experience: I called to schedule an appointment.The receptionist ask what's the reason for my appointment.I said evaluation for a pain in my tooth...She ask when was my last dental appointment,I said a month ago ..She ask IF I DON'T WANT to GO BACK TO MY DENTIST... I felt like if I did I basically wasn't gonna be calling their office for an appointment...It felt very unwelcoming and uncomfortable.I told her never mind with the appointment, and they lost a new customer.

Fantastic experience: Feb 2026- an update to review a year later ~ Dr Lee is one of those one in a million when it comes to his professionalism, care and when it comes to doing the right thing. He talks you through everything that he’s doing while he’s doing it, even your cleanings! He will make you excited for your visits!!! Great with all ages too!! Same with hygienist Allison who is so friendly and calming, and Tasha at the front desk just wonderful team. The extra travel miles across counties is WELL WORTH it!

Dr. Lee does a great job explaining any issues or non issues you may be having. In my opinion this practice is one of the best in the Howard/Baltimore county area.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Route 40 Family Dental (R4FD) by a trusted source due to an ongoing issue that I was experiencing from a different provider. From start (the 1st call) to finish my experience at R4FD was amazing, stellar! Tasha at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating, as was Allison the dental assistant. True to what I was told Dr Lee was extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He explained everything before hand and throughout the procedure, skillfully managing expectations and outcomes. My issue was resolved in one short visit. I have a new dentist. If your looking for a dentist office with stellar service that is conveniently located, I suggest R4FD and Dr. Lee. Thank you Dr. Lee and staff!

Also they have some of the most efficient dental technology I’ve ever seen- it was the easiest and quickest XRay of my life. Plus they even have a dental tool with a little camera so you can SEE exactly what they’re explaining. (100% an optional tool if you’re not into that lol) Im a visual learner so this place is perfect for me. Also they sent me home with a goodie bag?!?! Patient 4 Ever. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Last week I had my first visit with Route 40 family dental practice. The front office staff were friendly and helpful. They were able to get my x-rays from my previous dentist which I had not been able to do. The hygienist was also very friendly and did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. I also met Dr. David Lee. He also was very friendly and very professional. We talked about the future plans for my dental care. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend the practice.

Fantastic experience: Always have had a positive visit, either for a cleaning, an exam, or a procedure. It’s a relaxing atmosphere, and you can tell that staff members are happy working there which reflects in their dealings with the patient. Dr. Lee is so sweet and makes you feel very comfortable. If he is working on a particular issue, he lets you know step by step what he is doing. I’ve been coming to this practice for 15+ years amd when Dr. Navai retired I was worried about who would replace him since he was such a special person. I was worried for nothing. Dr. Lee has blended in perfectly and has added state of the art, modern equipment. My teeth are in good hands.

Fantastic experience: Every time for the many years that me and my family have gone to Dr Navai, it has been a positive experience. Michelle is usually the first to greet you. She is a terrific listener and so very professional. There is never much of a wait until the hygienist greets you and takes you back to clean your teeth. Then Dr Navai come in with a warm greeting and checks everything. I always feel good as I leave. it's always a good experience.
