Fantastic experience: Amazing Family Dental is a good name for this practice. I’ve had Crowns and fillings, and a repair of a broken tooth. Dr Patel and his staff are kind, professional, and very efficient. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great office located in Methuen with easy access to 495 and 93. The front desk staff makes you feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. Everything was on time and it was an extremely professionally run office. A fantastic experience that is super easy for anyone that works near by. This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team is very professional exams and providing great care for my teeth. I regularly do my cleaning and they do a great job, I felt that I was in good hands. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on. Thanks to Joann and Dr Patel.

But I had an emergency and had to see a Dr. They got me right in same day and Dr. Patel is an A+ Dr. It had been a little while since I had been to a dentist and to be honest I was scared embarrassed and was so nervous going in. From the front desk lady to everyone else they were welcoming and kind.Dr Patel even offered me headphones for when we do the procedure so the noise won't bother me and I can relax. He truly cares as about his patients and I love that in a Dr. If your scared to go to the dentist HE is the guy to see!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Patel was able to accommodate me last minute for an emergency appointment as a new patient. I called on a Friday afternoon due to a temporary crown that had fallen off that was placed by another dentist originally. Within hours, I was in the office. Dr. Patel and his staff made me feel completely at ease, we’re courteous, kind and attentive. I now have a new temporary crown while they are making my new permanent one. I will be returning for all my dental needs. I would recommend to anyone thinking about coming here, to do so.

Negative experience: The website says "emergency same day appointments" so I called to get my husband in who had his teeth knocked out at work and needed an emergency appointment. Not only would they not see him that day, their closest appointment was three days later. It's not okay to fraud the public by offering services that you don't provide.

I hadn't been able to have my teeth cleaned since before covid precautions were implemented and Joanne took extra time to really clean them very well, very gently, with no uncomfortable pokes! This was on a Sunday afternoon and I called my FL Dentist and he called his friend, Dr. Patel, whom was so kind to squeeze me in the next morning! I can't say enough about how kind and caring he and his staff were! I was so grateful as I still had two more weeks of traveling. I have dental phobia and they all made me feel at ease! Fantastic experience: I had been a long time patient of Dr Lyons before Dr Patel took over the practice and I wasn't sure how that transition would be but Dr. Jimish is very personable and puts you at ease. He has a gentle demeanor very similar to Dr Lyons who I had been going to for over 25 yrs. Dr J Patel has not skipped a beat in service...he's a keeper :) The whole team takes great care of you no matter what problem you may run into. Keeping your natural teeth is very important and Dr Patel is going to make sure you keep them, if possible.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been really happy with how Dr. Patel has addresses any issues I have had. Usually I just need a cleaning, but recently I had an issue with my molars losing contact and food getting trapped, and he fixed it beautifully.

I have built up positive relationships with the entire team, I am always comfortable ( as comfortable as you can be considering you are at the dentist) when I visit. Very professional and caring. I appreciate the conservative approach to dentistry, They take good care of me but do not try to over sell me on any optional procedures. I like the detail answers to my questions so I understand what is going on and what options there may be. Dr. Lyons did a good job of choosing Dr. Patel to carry on for him.

Negative experience: When this practice belong to Dr. Lyons it was phenomenal. Dr. Lyons was THE BEST and he made sure his clients were happy, settled, and explained everything in detail. Dr. Lyons understood his patients and treated them like family. Dr. Lyons always made sure his staff kept that same relationship too. When Dr. Lyons retired and Dr. Patel took over the practice everything changed and not for the good. Dr. Patel was rude to me along with his assistant. The office manager was extremely rude and made unnecessary comments after my appointment in which I had to tell her she was out of line. After having a crown put on my tooth that had a root canal years prior, there was supposedly a cavity, and Dr. Patel didn't build up the tooth enough for the crown. He rather put on the crown and said "This should last but if it doesn't oh well". I was beside myself with that comment. After going to another doctor for an opinion they said he didn't build up the tooth as he should've for the crown to have longevity. I will NEVER go to this office again. Sadly I've been a patient for quite some time when Dr. Lyons was present but Amazing Family Dental is the least bit of Amazing.

Everyone has covid-19 appropriate ppe and I felt comfortable to know there was not a crowded waiting area but I waited in my car and was called in so it was just me in the area. Proper temp screening and a questionnaire sent ahead of time also helped to feel completely confident during my appointment. Dr. Patel and his staff are phenomenal. She is efficient, friendly, and has never ceased to greet me by name and have the answers to any questions about insurance, etc. Then, usually to Joanne, the Hygienist, who is also very efficient, works quickly, but is thorough and friendly throughout my time with her. I was skeptical at first after having the previous dentist, Dr. Lyons, for several years, but Dr. Patel has proven to be thorough, informative, and always shares his knowledge and advice to me. He is friendly, cares for your dental health, and makes practical recommendations, or like today, all is well for six months! Great experience and dentist.

Fantastic experience: I unfortunately put off going to the dentist for far to long. The damage to my tooth was extensive and I was in a lot of pain. I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly as a new patient. I was impressed with the time spent explaining what was causing my pain and the options available to me. I didn’t not feel anytime pressure to make a decision one way or another. From walking in the front door where you are greeted by their friendly staff to a call the following day from the Dr. checking on me, I’d have to say they were all amazing.
