Positive experience: I just wanna say I don’t know why it was unexpected by myself, but after getting into the office talking to the receptionist and the doctors Assistant in the office I seem to be a little calmer today and I guess it was due to the atmosphere when we started my checkup procedure. I’m actually looking forward to going back to do my follow up dental care with them since they were quite helpful and caring for me.

Fantastic experience: The lady who cleaned my teeth was AWESOME! She alone is a reason enough to return to the dental office.

Fantastic experience: Every interaction of my visit was splendid. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. The dentist,, Dr. Siranli, was very thorough and terrific at explaining everything. I was been told by several dentist that a very aggressive and very expensive plan to improve my bite and my smile, but he thought of the bigger picture and just wanted to make sure that all my needs were met without trying to pick my pockets. I highly recommend this office

My hygienist, Cassie talked me through the entire processes from X-rays, the exam, a the cleaning! Dr. Zamani was gentle and communicative. He thoroughly explained why teeth needed -what- and why! It was an old skool patient experience with all the newest dental medicine technology/ advancements. They also gave me estimates for required care! Very transparent friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: TEN stars, if I could. This place is amazing. The dental staff are so friendly and professional, and the office ladies are so accommodating. I've just had two dental implants at the same time with Dr. Siranli and I'm so happy I chose to do them here. One week in, and I'm already healing nicely and I'm not sore at all. I felt zero pain and implantologist Dr. Siranli is SO efficient and kind. Dr. Zamani is my normal dentist here and he's so knowledgeable and caring, he did four fillings at the same time and I felt nothing. If you need a dentist, I highly recommend you come here (especially for dental implants -worth every penny).

Little Seli, the tiny dental hygienist, is 10 out of 10 amazing!! Efficient and personable. Today was my first cleaning with Miriam and she was awesome!! And Sam the office manager is the BEST!! She works with insurance companies and gets the best rate for the work you need to have done. 10 out of 10!! Highly HIGHLY recommend the entire office for your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental re-implant , and the experience was very good. Dr Siranli is very friendly and explained clearly the old implant was not on the right place and what needed to be fixed. The procedure was smooth, and they were gentle and careful the whole time. Recovery went well, and the clinic followed up to make sure I was healing normally. Overall, I felt well taken care of, I’m happy with the treatment and would recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: Front desk staff is always exceptionally kind and accommodating with schedules when they're able, and they work hard to ensure insurance coverage isn't the patient's to pursue. I've been going here for several years now and have seen nearly all the dentists and hygienists, and they're all knowledgeable. Dental work makes me incredibly anxious but they allow for breaks if needed. I had my teeth cleaned today and later came home after a meal to floss - while flossing, I heard squeaking. They got my teeth to be squeaky clean, literally! I didn't know it was possible.

Positive experience: Only 3 parking spots available - if they are all full, you have to pay $10 with no reimbursement. This is unacceptable to an Invisalign patient who need to visit the clinic often.

Negative experience: I was thoroughly disappointed with my recent teeth cleaning appointment. The hygienist, who introduced himself as a doctor, appeared rushed and neglected to provide a thorough cleaning. It took him an exorbitant 6 minutes to complete the cleaning, leaving the assistant to finish the polishing. However, the most concerning aspect of the appointment was the dentist’s excessive focus on diagnosing me with severe inflammation and numerous cavities. He seemed to disregard my pre-appointment pain-free condition and gum bleeding, as if those were the sole factors to be considered. It’s been over 11 years since I began receiving twice-yearly teeth cleanings, but this experience has been the most unpleasant I’ve ever had. The entire appointment lacked focus on the cleaning process, and it felt as if the dentist was solely motivated by pushing for additional treatment. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service, specifically mentioning the rushed approach and the lack of attention to detail, he blamed me for my poor oral hygiene. Leaving the appointment, I felt that my concerns were not addressed and that the clinic was merely attempting to upsell me. I will definitely not be returning and would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Negative experience: I had a frustrating and painful experience at Advance Dental Care Center. I found Dr.Zamani within my dental insurance plan. Dr. Zamani was kind and thorough during my evaluation, and I initially thought he would handle my tooth extraction. However, they assigned the procedure to Dr. Changi, who was not in my insurance network. Worse, after numbing me, they kept discussing with me to sign an implant surgery consent—thankfully, I didn’t, as I later discovered it would have had a 0% co-pay due to the out-of-network issue. I thought that day was only for extraction, and was too early for any implant decisions. Dr. Changi returned 30-40 minutes later to start the extraction, but by then, the numbness had worn off, making the procedure excruciatingly painful. After I told him I was painful, he administered more anesthetic, which could have been avoided if he had started sooner. Now, I find that the extraction surgery is not good. I'm left with an incomplete extraction and a sharp, needle-like bone structure causing pain, meaning I might need another surgery to fix it. While the front desk staff was friendly, my experience with Dr. Changi was terrible, and I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. And I will not go back to this dental office anymore.

Fantastic experience: I have really bad anxiety with doctors visits, but every single person who gave me service, whether it be the front desk, the hygienist Heidi, or the wonderful Dentist Dr. Zamani, everyone helped me ease my anxiety. I really appreciate these wonderful people.

Negative experience: I want to start by saying that the doctor is amazing—kind, gentle, and great with the needle. I couldn’t ask for better service. However, there are two things I found disappointing. First, I had to pay $19 for parking since they don’t offer validation. On top of that, there was an $8 service fee for using a credit card, which is uncommon. Additionally, the office manager seemed upset when I asked questions. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with dignity and respect, not as if I’m being done a favor. I encourage the front desk staff to improve their customer service skills and be more attentive to patient concerns. A welcoming and professional attitude makes all the difference in a patient’s experience.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff was so friendly and so welcoming. The dentist was very skilled and helped identify some problems I didn’t even know I had but could have gotten serious if they were left untreated. We put a plan in place that I’m happy with.

Negative experience: This dental office seems to upsell to customers as often as possible. The dentists do good work but the doctor who's name is on the door interacts with clientele in a way that conveys the mentality that the doctor is always correct and doesn't have the time to explain his reasoning to the client. Choose a different dental office. Believe the negative reviews that echo the same sentiment and mention the dentist's name.

Fantastic experience: I was amazed at how efficient and painless my visit was! I haven’t been to a dentist in a few years and they didn’t shame me about it, did a thorough cleaning with their ultrasonic tools, took multiple X-rays and helped schedule another cleaning all in under 45 minutes! I was shocked and thrilled. Definitely a great office and a great dentist!

Negative experience: I couldn’t sleep properly for at least 3 consecutive days because of a bad tooth pain back in February. I tried going to the dentist for a follow-up, but the only thing done was to replace the filling for the tooth, and I was also told to take more ibuprofen to be able to sleep, even beyond the recommended dosage. I only found out after requesting a second opinion that the pain was due to my tooth being abscessed, and the other dentist was baffled that fillings were put on top of an abscess instead of doing a root canal. Scheduling last-minute appointments and trying to request back my X-rays was such a pain too and I’d just get a curt reply about the team being too busy - I still haven’t gotten them back. I honestly wish they’d get the basics right instead of asking me (and other patients in some of these reviews) to get Invisalign.

Fantastic experience: Professional and friendly staff greet you as you enter the Care Center. The staff follows the lead of Dr. Zumani who is patient friendly, knowledgeable about your dental treatment and explains the procedure you are going through. My wife recently started seeing Dr. Zumani and enjoys his service.

Fantastic experience: the Advance Dental Center: I know going to the dentist is not anyone’s favorite thing to do, but Dr. Zamani’s team is extremely professional, attentive and make their patients feel comfortable. Very, very friendly staff (specially Sam and Dom) best dental office in Arlington.

Positive experience: I was impressed by the very fancy xray and equipment. The dentists provided high quality work. I (truly) love that they run your insurance while you are in the chair and have you sign off on the price of any new procedures. The price transparency is incredible and I wish more medical providers did this. Unfortunately I am disappointed by the pushy and salesy approach during the appointment. I previously declined an Invisalign consultation, but that didn’t stop the sales pitch. While I was in the chair with tubes hanging out of my mouth, Dr Zamani said he was going to do “a scan” to tell us more about my mouth and to explore some issues with my bite that he was noticing. When I was finally able to speak, I asked if the scan was free and he said yes. When they brought the monitor over to review the “scan” it was branded with Invisalign. Dr Zamani said “oh no this is for more than Invisalign. This gives us a good pictures of your mouth.” Then he immediately goes into talking about how Invisalign is the solution to my issues. Then when I checked out, the front desk gave me a $4k quote for Invisalign! I’m very conflicted about returning. While the routine dental care is top notch, I don’t like being conned.

Fantastic experience: Advanced Dental Care Center has been my dentist since 2015. I've used them for routine cleanings, minor dental work, and invisalign braces. The staff is great and I fully trust them. Dr. Zamani is always very knowledgeable, skilled, kind, and courteous. Very down to Earth. Supporting staff just as wonderful. I've known them for years at this point and have zero complaints on the quality of care I receive or just how they treat me. Of the two emergent dental issues I've had , they have been able to see me in a reasonable time frame where I felt my sense of emergency was empathized with. Long story short, they are there when I need them. While I have never been a fan of dentist offices this one I enjoy going to. If you are looking for a Dentist, look no further. You've found a great one!

His staff is top notch...very personable and knowledgeable. With insurance covering less every year, they've still managed to make even the more extensive work I've needed affordable. Some of my friends and family are even now patients of Dr. Zamani. P.S.: The new location in South Crystal City is perfect. The new street-level office has much more spacious reception/waiting and procedure areas. And the parking is great with free street-level spaces and easy access to additional garage parking.
